Stage 1- Event: G
Description: Participants will wander about the island until reaching a trap set by the exam organizers. In this trap, the participants will be trapped in a barrier jutsu that surrounds the area, limiting the scope of the area they can move freely in to a sphere with a 30m diameter. The only way to exit the barrier is to have both the scroll of heaven and scroll of earth at the same time. If the holder of one tries to leave alone, their path will be blocked. The shinobi responsible for producing the barrier will then cast a genjutsu on all participants within the barrier. The idea behind the genjutsu is simple. Everything the user sees will be either black or white, with no type of color or shade in between. Where there is light, everything will be white. Where there is darkness, everything will be black. This creates some rather extreme contrasts with the light that pierces through the forest canopy. In each participants mind, all enemies will be made to be seen as black, making their shape clearly visible in the light, but completely invisible in the dark.

Example!

Scroll assignments (This information is exclusively held by each participant. Their opponents must discern who has what scroll other than their own in the thread):

Scroll of Heaven: Yunah
Scroll of Earth: Riss

Nervousness, excitement, and expectations built up to yunah's drop off on Genbu island, one of kumogakure's most secretive places. it was kind f exciting to be here, and yunah was definitely sure that she was going to have some fun in the exams. She figured that there was about 18 people in the exams total. Before they began each of them were explained to about the scroll, so that meant 9 people had earth scrolls and 9 had heaven scrolls. Yunah begin given a heaven scroll knew she needed to find an earth scroll. Although this was the chunin exams, she couldn't imagine that she everyone she came up against was going to shout out what scroll they had, and most were going to fight anyones. Yunah, while good at fighting, was only good at close counters combat. In fact one might say she specializes in it... something she would have to work on once she got dameon out of the hands of those filthy shikyo four. But, she couldn't really focus on that stuff right now. Right now she needed to survive, and find herself an Earth scroll.

Yunah was dropped off in a small clearing, unsure of where she was going. there were 17 people she had a chance of meeting, one of which being... sort of... friendly. If Maigo had a heaven scroll than it would make sense to team up with her own squad mate in order for them to work together to accomplish their goals quicker. Yunah knew that that she only had a roughly 6% chance of coming a crossed him, so she knew that while a good strategy, it was highly unlikely. With that in mind, yunah did what any shinobi would do and took to the tree tops, sprinting along branch to branch, being as quite as she could and keeping a eye out of any single person. Since they were in teams this made things a little bit easier for yunah to find her prey and pick it off. Although, she wasn't finding anyone. Suddenly. Yunah's vision drastically changed as she came to a sudden stop in a tree, Black, and, white. That was all yunah could see. She couldn't imagine some genin caught her in a genjutsu like that, and they had been told there would be traps around here. So yunah assumed a barrier of some sort. Using the patches of white as a guide, because the white vs the black lined out some branchs, not all, but some, yunah made her way to the edge of the barrier, and sure enough she couldn't get out of it. Yunah let out a small sigh. From what she could see this there appeared to be a thick circle of trees, surronding a clearing, with 4 trees in the center. Yunah assumed that the circle of trees marked the edge of the barrier and so it was about 30 meters in diameter. Yunah could then also assume anyone caught in the barrier would see the same thing she did, themselves as pure white, and the enivronment a mix. Yunah watched a squirell scamper briefly through the clearing at that confirmed her suscision that any other living thing was going to be black. The trick of the genjutsu was to lure yourself out into the open where you thought you were safe and end up standing out. Yunah let some air out of her nose in amusement. What a petty trick, however yunah had to wait for another fool to get caught in the same trap she was. Since she couldn't escape on her own, that must means here in this black and white arena she would get her scroll. It worked out for the better this way. Although there was a chance that another Heaven scroll holder would get trapped in here, but they could work together to take out an earth scroll user, and then yunah could take them out. it was simple really. Plus she could confuse them into believing that they saw everyone aw them as white, and yunah could use them as bait. with that in mind, and a grin on her face, yunah stood crouched down next to the trunk of the tree, surrounded by leaves, that way she was hidden from everyone who was in the barrier, and everyone outside as well. She already knew that there was no one in her barrier, so now she had the advantage. Once someone entered she would have to spring an attack before they had time to figure out what was going on.

An earth scroll was what she got. Holding the scroll up and examining it’s marking for a moment, she tried her best to remember its appearance. Given the fact she was going to need to go against someone with a heaven scroll, the appearance between the two strips of paper would most likely differ. Whatever Riss may get into, knowing what the heaven scroll looks like might be helpful later on.

Riss had been dropped off along a small line of trees. The island that the exams were being held was known for being dangerous, and with the addition of scroll hungry contestants, Riss was going to have to take a more stealthy approach. With a soft sigh, she jumped up to the nearest tree branch and began to move forward. Having heard different strategies about survival, Riss would have to take each bit of advice to heart if she was going to survive. Movement was one of the first things on her mind. No doubt once another contestant got sight of her, they’d go after her with the intent to attack her and steal the scroll. Bringing a hand down and making sure her scroll was safely in her pouch, she continued on deeper into the forest.

After a while, Riss noticed something about her surroundings. Blinking a few times, she rubbed her eyes trying to make out what was happening. Everything around her was turning black and white. Stopping abruptly and dropping down to the ground, she tried to keep her balance as the genjutsu started to disorient her. Quickly finding the shape of a tree and getting behind it, she started to glance around. The two colors seemed to contrast with the light and shadows, and was rather easy to pick out. Riss wasn’t too sure what was happening, or if it was another contestant’s doing. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she started to think and try to make sense of what was happening. A few birds rustled in the tree above her and flew off. Watching them fly, they seemed to be completely black along the white background. This gave Riss the idea that all living things and objects were black, while everything in the sun or non-living was white. Riss of course thought a genjutsu was at work, and had no doubts she was near the user. Quietly following along the black path of shadows and objects, she made her way back to where she previously was. Switching to a light jog, she then noticed a barrier blocking her way. Pushing against the barrier’s wall, she found it impossible to break through. Slamming a fist on the wall, she turned and followed the shadows back to what she believed to be the previous tree she was hiding behind. A genjutsu and a barrier were blocking her and had her trapped in a small clearing.

After staying hidden for a moment or two, Riss began to think of what this trap may be used for. She could’ve been trapped in here until she passes out, leaving her scroll to be picked up by the user of the genjutsu. She could be placed in here with a creature that normally inhabits the island, or even be stuck here with another contestant. Though her thoughts made her a bit paranoid, she was now completely alert of her surroundings. Darting her eyes looking at the trees for any movement, Riss jumped up to the nearest tree branch to get a better view of the area. It looked as though there was a large opening in the middle with large trees surrounding it. No doubt the middle was certain death to whatever may be trapped in the barrier with her. Riss was a bit worried. Having been sent into the island with no supplies was going to be difficult, and with the possibility of fighting someone, it was even more so dangerous.

Taking a deep breath, Riss decided to take a risk. Darting out from her hiding place and briefly running out into the clearing, she ended her rush at another tree. Hiding behind it, she leaned to the side to see if anyone or anything noticed her movement.

As yunah sat there with her blade leaning against her, already drawn. She noticed some movement a cross the clearing. She wasn't too sure what it was, until she saw it, a red haired girl jumped from one tree into a tree that made the border of the clearing. It was at that moment that yunah's vision began to fade. Yunah made sure to know the girl's location before her vision completely change. All black, and all white. A genjutsu. There was no other explanation for it, unless someone could medically alter someone's vision like that, but she had never heard of anything such thing, especially coming from another genin. something like that would take extreme medical skills, from the very little that yunah know about medical procedures. So yunah had to assume something strange like this was a genjutsu, and since it activated the moment the girl enter the sort of ring like area it was easy to deduce that it was an area type effect, and yunah had sat here and waited for it too happen. Especially considering they had been warned of traps happening from the very beginning. So this was something set up by the people running the exams then. Yunah saw herself as pure white, but when she looked over to the other tree she couldn't see the girl at all. A small squeak came from behind yunah as she looked over to near the base of the south tree and saw what appeared to be a squirrel. it too was black. Which meant all living things inside of the genjutsu saw themselves as white, but appeared black to the others inside the genjutsu. this was an important bit of information as it meant that anyone who couldn't figure it out would hide out in the light in hopes to be hidden in it, and would be sitting ducks to whoever else was in the area. And, there had to be someone in the area, because it appeared the area triggered upon two people entering it. Which meant they were probably trapped here until one of them died or was sent back to the medical division. This would be interesting. But how would yunah play this out? Surely the girl wouldn't be stupid enough to fall for the trap. Yunah wasn't the even close to the smartest person around, but even she could figure out the workings of the genjutsu, surely the other girl could too. this would be a game of wits, not strength, and so yunah felt that she wasn't the most well equipped for this venture, but it meant her success in the exams, so she HAD to do her best. Yunah let out a sigh as she touched one of the branches channeling chakra into it for substitution. Then she made the monkey and hare hand signs, activing her wind push technique. This was important, she needed speed for what she was about to do. She kicked off of the branch to and made her way into the west tree, then kicked off of a branch there, and landed in between the west tree and the border, she remained crouch as if she was trying to hide, but her eyes were scanning back and forth along the tree line searching for any signs at all. she was going to give off the impression she had fallen for the ruse in hopes the enemy would try to ambush her. it was a risky move, but about the only one she had. At this point she was unknowingly about 18 meters from her target. Yunah had her ears and her ears and her eyes open constantly searching for anything. Yunah had sprung from the tree only a few moments after the genjutsu took full effect. The most important thing however was that she fought in the light, the length of her blade was concealed because it was reflecting the sunlight meaning it reflected white. If someone doesn't know the length of the blade it makes for an extremely hard battle.

Before Riss sprinted out into the open, she noticed a slight shift above her. The sound of leaves rustling and a minor creak of a branch. No bird or small animal could make such a distinct sound. It was odd, considering that the barrier she was in had no air moving around in it. The only explanation of sound would be either an animal, or someone in the tree above her. Unfortunately, Riss had already made her decision to run out. She was already taking her first step when she noticed something else. There was a slight movement of light. It wasn’t the typical swaying motion of the tree’s shadows. In fact, it looked as though the light was long and shined brighter in the middle, but also had the shadows of leaves covering the beam. The shape was undoubtedly a blade. The bearer of said blade would most likely come after her the moment she moved further out into the open. Unfortunately for her, the attack would be a bit more sudden than she expected.

Wind seemed to grow stronger as it followed behind her. Riss’ eyes widened and her back tensed up. There was in fact an attacker in the tree above her. Thankfully being aware of her surroundings gave her a heads up to the attack. Given that the barrier wasn’t letting any wind or sound in, and the fact that the wind was so forceful, there was no possible way that the wind was natural. She was being ambushed, and no doubt had very little time to react. As quickly as she possibly could, Riss twisted her mid-section and turned her torso to the side. She was still touching the ground with her feet, allowing her to pivot a bit quicker. Her eyes were focused on looking behind her. Just as the slice of wind went past her, she noticed a black figure approaching her from directly behind that attack.

As the black figure honed in on her with incredible speed, her foot pushed her away just in time to avoid the stab to her back. The small hop left Riss a fair 3 meters away from the black figure. She was now facing the figure and could see them fully. With a quick glance up and down, the figure seemed to be female and the stance was somewhat familiar. Their silhouette seemed to have armor that made their torso look bigger. On their hip, there was a lump, no doubt a pouch that possibly contained a scroll she was after. Aside from the gender, knowing the figure had a single blade was definitely useful. Having been more focused on using two weapons at once would help her greatly, even if this opponent was a bit faster than her. Riss moved both her right and left hands to the grab the kunai holstered in her belt. Bringing the kunai up and setting them comfortably in her hands, she took a more defensive stance. Without a wound on her back and a two kunai in her hand, she would have a much easier time of dodging and blocking any incoming attacks.

Riss kept her guard up in case the figure made any sudden movement. If she did, Riss would react accordingly. Although she made it out of the ambush uninjured, she was curious about who this person really was. For all she knew, the girl could have been a part of the genjutsu she was in. Nonetheless, she decided it was worth it to try and talk to the figure. “If you really just tried to attack me, you must be another contestant.” Riss kept her voice somewhat quiet.

Chakra 150/150:

OOC: First post, you were trapped in the genjutsu and barrier and decided to hide in a tree. You said, "yunah stood crouched down next to the trunk of the tree, surrounded by leaves , that way she was hidden from everyone who was in the barrier, and everyone outside as well."  If you were surrounded by leaves and decided to jump after me and attack, I would undoubtedly hear the leaves you were in. Jutsu or no, any slight movement would make a noise. A slight movement such as drawing your blade, or making hand signs.

Silently drawing your blade is difficult but I think it’s possible. However, given what we’ve seen from that amazing little video above, it’s bound to make some reflection of light. Even in a tree shaded by leaves, it’s going to stick out, and based on basic perception, Riss would see it.

I have reason to doubt the wind jutsu you used isn’t silent. You may say it is, but based on how jutsus generally work and with a quick check with an admin, I can guarantee it is not. If the description doesn’t say ‘silent’, I’m not going to assume it is silent.

For the dodge, I have reflexes which definitely gives me a bit more reaction time on the incoming attack. With the addition of the blade’s reflection and the sound of leaves, I’d say I have a reasonable amount of time, as well as a good amount of knowledge of where you are, to dodge that attack. Of course, with me turned around now and facing you, the two strikes to my shoulders and two strikes to my knees are void.

OOC: First off, "Before Riss sprinted out into the open, she noticed a slight shift above her. The sound of leaves rustling and a minor creak of a branch. No bird or small animal could make such a distinct sound." no. Yunah was well into position before riss even got back after punching the barrier.

Second off, " There was a slight movement of light. It wasn’t the typical swaying motion of the tree’s shadows. In fact, it looked as though the light was long and shined brighter in the middle, but also had the shadows of leaves covering the beam. The shape was undoubtedly a blade." no. Yunah's blade is black, and sould have no direct light shining on it sense she was in the shadows, as such it would be dark, thus appearing black in the genjutsu, and would not be reflecting light in any way.

Third off, "Wind seemed to grow stronger as it followed behind her." no. unless she can sense wind? if she can feel the wind getting stronger then my cresent as already hit, need i remind you this is hitting riss FASTER THAN SHE CAN BLINK. Hence forth

"As quickly as she possibly could, Riss twisted her mid-section and turned her torso to the side. She was still touching the ground with her feet, allowing her to pivot a bit quicker. Her eyes were focused on looking behind her. Just as the slice of wind went past her, she noticed a black figure approaching her from directly behind that attack." NO. i would give you Riss registering and recognzing the wind IF she could see it, at this point she shouldn't even know it exists given that you can't just magically sense wind because your an uzumaki that isn't using any sensory tehcnique, so just "feeling" the wind doesn't make sense, as the head of the moment wind would by yunah's cresent and yes you could feel a breeze after it was gone, but there would be no way for it to effect the wind ahead of it. PLUS you can't see the wind. if you look up int the tree, all you would see is pitch black. Thus you can't see yunah because you are seeing black on black, so you can't see yunah or the wind trail coming to you, and i already stated while you hearing a movement that didn't actually exsist was BS. Thus you have NO REASON to be staring at the top of that tree, much less actually being able to gain anything from staring at that tree. By the time you could hear yunah moving in the tree, the slash would basically be at you. 0.25 seconds comes hella fast. Again i'll give you a frame of refrence. Blinking. BLINKING, takes 0.4 seconds for the average human. now we arn't average humans, which is why i would give you registering the movement in your mind, but registering it, then having the concious thought to move, then acting on it, would take a whole lot longer than 0.25 seconds. Now i realize my movements were a bit fast, but it still wouldn't take longer than a second after yunah's initial movement to reach you with her blade, so roughly 0.75 seconds after her cresent hits you. This means the rest of your post is void because gien your reasons in your post you can't actually detect yunah, however i can go into details about why the rest of it's all wrong too if you want.

Now unto your own OOC bits.

Leaves - Yunah is SURROUND by leaves. Not covered in them, she isn't in a pile of leaves rolling around, this simply means leaves are near her enough to provide enough cover to hide her decently. Add the mild cover on top of the genjutsu and she is hidden. we are SURROUNDED by trees, doesn't mean we are suffocating in bark. point - surrounded =/= covered in. Yunah would have enough space to make ahdn signs and draw her sword would bumping anythign around her. in fact if she was trying to be stealthy... IF ANYONE WAS TRYING TO BE STEALTHY, they would make sure not to bump anything around them, specifically noisy ass leaves.

Sound - i went over this briefly in skype, but i'll state it again here. Drawing a sword from a leather sheathe would not make that metal on metal 'SHINK' sound that actions movies make it out to be. Have you ever drawn a real sword from a real sheathe? it's REALLY easy to make it not make any sound at all. Another thing, slashing the air in real life doesn't make a loud "WHOOSH" sound like that did, that was highly dramatized for TV. Like most things are. And CAN'T be used to measure real things, as we try to do with saga.

Light - Alright, not finding where they drew a sword in that video but read up ^ then read way up^^ Yunah's sword is black. Yunah's pitch black, and in a pitch black area, it's tone in the genjutsu would thus be black, unless yunah some how lit it up. There isn't any light shining through in yunahs area to give it away especially because she is surrounded by leaves so no light came in. Again, surrounded, not covered, she wanted to be well hidden, which wasn't too hard to find an all black spot given the genjutsu scenario they were in. Plus she isn't toally blind to her environment as well, she got a good view of the tree when she entered the thread, then her vision went black. point - yunah's blade wouldn't be producing light for you to see.

Jutsu sound - totally fair. However given how little time it takes the jutsu to come into action, and then to hit you, you don't have reasonable time to react and dodge to it.

Ending - Reflexes DO NOT give you a huge increase to stats. +1 at max, which honestly, isn't all that great. in fact it's almost virtually nothing, i already proved why your other claims to knowing my location were a no go, and reflexes do not warrant allowing you to dodge a jutsu you heard moving when from it's start takes 0.25 seconds to reach you. As such you take the hit, and every subsequent hit after that.

Now unto my post

yunah's plan went off without a hitch. her devil's grin cleaved into the grins back making her stumble forwards as yunah kicked off of the branch and then drove her blade into the girl's back. Yunah then dragged her blade out, leaving another massive cut in her back She then left the other four cuts in the girls tendon's and back of the knees. She jumped back, and after waiting a few moments she decided the girl had had enough. She yunah walked up behind the girl cautiously as she wasn't sure if there might be a trap, and then stuck her sword right in the girl's left shoulder in order to make sure she stayed down. Yunah then search the girl's body for the scroll. it didn't take her very long to find it at all, and once she found it was over joyed that the trim around the kanji on the scroll read "earth" She openned up the scroll, but not before grabbing her sword, sending the girl out of the exams, so that way she could recieve medical attentions for the wounds yunah had left on her. She then closed the scroll and headed towards the barrier. She had done it. She had gotten her scrolls. All that was left was to get to the next point without encountering any more traps along the way. Yunah's vision cleared as she walked out of the barrier with both scrolls. She then openned both of them together and read the location to the next area. She looked back and saw blood scattered a crossed the grass from the battle she had just partaken in. it was gruesome, and she was kind of sad that she didn't ever get to see the face of her opponent, but she couldn't think about that now. She was done with her part, all that was left to do was to get to the falls.

She had done it. Hopefully this would make dameon proud of her once she told him of her accomplishments, that was, once she found him. her thoughts trailed to Maigo. She wondered what knd of situation he was in right now, and how he was doing. Was there a chance he had aquired his scrolls before yunah? no there couldn't be, she had gotten hers really quickly, and so she figured she would probably be one of the first ones there. It was mainly just a string of luck, that had fallen upon her. she certainly wouldn't waste this opporuntiy. Yunah would be sure to be careful and hidden t her entire travel towards the old temple. She made it there without a hitch, and when she did, she was fortunate enough to see that she was in fact the first one there. A smile crossed her face as she would spend the rest of her time waiting for not only the rest of the genin to arrive, but also maigo.

Ruling: The ambush never happens/can't work because there is no way Yunah figured out the genjutsu before Riss arrived. It doesn't even activate until both are within the 30m diameter barrier. That is less than 200 feet of space you have to work with in any given direction. Everything after that is hereby invalidated. The thread is reset.

Plus the clearing could serve as a nice battle ground for yunah. Yunah made her way up to north and concealed herself inside the tree. Enough space in the tree that she could move around freely without making noise by bumping anything, but tight enough she was concealed pretty well. she wasn't perfectly concealed, there were a few angles that she could very very easily be spotted from, but most of those involved either being above yunah or standing right next to one either west or east. Yunah let out a small yawn as she drew her blade. Now she only needed to wait.

Riss was rather excited about the beginning of the exams, yet there was a good bit of doubt in her own abilities. Even though she had gone through quite a bit of training before she actually travelled to Kumo, she didn’t have much experience with fighting others. Other than the occasional spar, she had picked up a few tips on fighting. Riss wasn’t looking to kill anyone, rather, she would only want the scroll that was opposite of hers. Gripping the earth scroll in her hand, she quietly examined it. There was a possibility that she would lose the scroll, so knowing its appearance may come in handy if she dropped it, or lost it.

Riss had been dropped off by the edge of the forest and seemingly nowhere near any other exam participants. The lack of supplies and food concerned her, but she expected as much from the exams. Given the rumors she had heard from previous exams, it was extremely tough to go through, and some genin even lost their lives in the first part. Bringing a hand down to make sure her scroll was completely secure in her bag, she let out a soft exhale. The others in the forest would no doubt be willing to harm in just to get their hands on the scroll. With a shake of her head, Riss focused back on where she was going.

Jumping up to the branches of the trees, she used the height advantage for clear travel, but also to keep a certain level of stealth. Though she didn’t know it at the time, Riss was travelling south at a steady pace. Her mind was focused on finding another contestant and getting that scroll however she could. Knowing her teammates were somewhere within the forest, she hoped she would be able to form some sort of group with them. Of course, if one of them had a heaven scroll, it would cause a fair amount of distrust. Even if she was able to get together with one of the two, it was unlikely she would find them or even if they would decide to team up. As Riss remained lost in thought, she started to notice something about her surroundings. Her vision slowly started to blur as she continued forward. This caused her to slow slightly. Stopping on a tree branch and crouching down, she rubbed her eyes, trying to make out what was happening. Colors seemed to blend into either black and white, leaving a rather distinct difference between objects, shadows, and light.

As Riss witnessed the surrounding area turn black and white, she quietly prepared a substitution on the branch she was on. The whole situation seemed like a trap, but she wasn’t sure if it was another contestant, or something else. Whatever the case may be, she had to be cautious and aware of her surroundings. Leaning forward, Riss tried to get a good view of the area around her.

OOC: Riss was moving south, that means that when she entered the sort of barrier area she would be facing the north tree, which i already stated yunah was in. Basically once yunah figures out the genjutsu she then moves. simple enough right?

There was no doubt that she was trapped in a Genjutsu. The surroundings were too disorienting and in no way real. It didn’t take her long to think that this was a higher level jutsu, seeing as breaking out of it would either take a long time, or too much concentration. Most likely, this was a trap made to force exam takers into a fight. Riss would simply have to deal with it for now. As Riss continued to watch the center of the arena, she noticed the flash of black bolting from the middle trees to the outskirts of the forest she was in. She just barely made it out, as it went by almost instantly. There was no doubt that someone was in here with her now, and they had figured out what was causing the illusion as well. Riss began to think out her strategy. There seemed to be only one figure, making her assume it was simply another contestant. As for why they rushed so quickly to the outskirts, she had no clue. She was still concealed by the tree’s shadow and had her substitution just in case, but there was an uneasy feeling that this enemy was always watching her based on how she saw herself as white. This worried a bit, but with a quick shake of her head, she focused back in on the situation at hand. Starting a few hand motions, Riss concentrated as three clones of her started to rise up from a form of water. The clones would be useful in testing what her opponent’s strengths and weaknesses were, but their main use would be to keep Riss herself out of danger. Reaching behind her and handing each Clone a pair of two kunai, she sent them out.

Riss was staying put until she was sure it was safe. With a higher perspective of the battlefield, she would be able to send her clones out accordingly. She kept a kunai close by, just in case she needed to throw it, or even defend herself if there was more than one opponent. Whatever was about to happen, she would have to be ready to strike hard and fast.

Clone 1 quickly made their way between the trees on the outskirts and the trees in the middle. Being about 7 meters between the two sets of trees. The moment it got there, it started a few hand signs and inhaled. Other than a soft exhale, there was complete silence. A mist formed rather quickly, making the clone seem to disappear into thin air. Once the jutsu was in full effect, the clone then walked towards where Riss last saw the black figure disappeared. Exiting the mist and re-appearing. Armed with the two kunai, it held them up, staring just a tiny bit off of where Yunah was last.

Clone 2 and 3 silently stepped through the mist, making sure to head to the middle group of trees as stealthily as possible. Thanks to the cover of the thick mist, they would be invisible to anyone looking over in their direction. Since everything was perceived as black and white, the mist would act as a wall to shelter their presence. Though it would take a second or two, they would end up in the center of the arena and about 7 meters from the clone. Upon reaching the center of the four trees, they took to the shadows in order to stay completely hidden. Clone 2 was under the west tree’s shadow, while Clone 3 was under the North’s. Their time to act would come soon enough.

OOC: Seeing as your jutsu made you quicker, I was still able to make out the blur due to my perception and reaction time being a D-3. I already said Riss was staring at the center, so I'm assuming she saw you move from the center.

As for the jutsus, I'm simply sending one clone out to create the thick mist, and the other two to sneak into the middle. Based on the black and white illusion, a thick mist no doubt acts as a white wall.

Also, about your sword. You said it reflects light even though it's black. Can you explain that a bit better? I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Again, sorry for the delay. My internet is fixed now.
