Uchiha Tenzō

On a fair and calm day, the raven-haired man just equipping himself with the necessary gear in order to venture out and search for a man around his thirties which needed to be tracked down due to the strange rumors that have been whispering throughout the villages. At first, the rumors started spreading from the nearby villages that were being located around Konohagakure, throughout the Land of Fire, villages that were not that strong to defend themselves when things such as these were occurring. However, these rumors did not end up here, since the main village that was known to be hidden by the leaves had started getting itself filled with rumors that were indeed describing the same person, a faint description which was put together in order to make a rough idea about how the man was looking. This procedure was known by most shinobi, and with a couple of information gathered from different kind of witnesses, they managed to come up with a sketch that could be used to track down this person.

Most of the missing people were being kidnapped were reported to be last seen within the forest that was located south of the Land of Fire, as such, that would perhaps be the most appropriate location to begin searching for this person. Even though there was nothing else to work with besides this, the young man was capable of tracking down a victim due to the fact that the Uchiha had just went through the well-known ANBU training which allowed him to become a much sharper weapon than he was before. The ANBU captain, Lamya was strong and with her guidance, Tenzō became a person which he never imagined himself being capable of achieving. There was no doubt, that without the Orochi Lady, the young man would have not been capable of pushing himself to surpass the limits of his own vessel, and it was not really because she was skilled and informed him properly, but because of the fact that the raven-haired man had something to motivate him and to work for, even though serving might have been a better word in this case.

There was no more time to waste, and the Uchiha armed himself to the teeth before leaving behind those towering gates which belonged to Konohagakure, heading at running place towards the forests to track down the kidnapper. Technically, the raven-haired man would try to save up as much time as he could in order to arrive at those forests, and after that, the pacing at which he would scour those woods was about to slow time in which he could rest himself and prepare for an upcoming battle if it was necessary. Perhaps, if infiltrating and assassinating the person would work out, than there would probably be no need for a direct confrontation; those abilities of his were unknown for the young ANBU, and throwing his own life away in a reckless fight is not something which the man wished to achieve in this particular day. Usually, when you are drawn within a situation which you cannot keep up, the best thing is to either retreat or use various tricks or strategies to reduce that gap of strength.

And this case wouldn’t be that difficult, if the Uchiha was capable of keeping the upper hand in this particular situation, and that was given by the fact that the man was known as the hunter in this case, which meant that a surprise attack would probably benefit him in a situation such as this. Even if Tenzō might have the upper hand in this particular assignment, the mission shouldn’t be taken lightly since the information about the abilities of the person which he was in charge of pursuing were unknown. Attacking a person directly without really analyzing the situation and the extends of his abilities was something reckless, which caused the deaths of many good shinobi, and not only that, ignorance was also an important factor which played a significant amount within it. Therefore, extreme care must be taken when approaching the man, and each and every step must be thought at least twice in order to succeed.

After a couple of good minutes, the raven-haired man was capable of reaching the South Forrest which was rather small compared to the rest of those that formed the Land of Fire, and at a slow pace the man began walking between those trees. With those ebony and dull eyes and with those ears pointy as a wolf, the man kept scouring every piece of the land which stood beneath him in order to find any kind of evidences that can be used as leads which will help him with the search. The location that in which the man could find the kidnapper was unknown since there were no details besides the forest regarding what may this man use as a hideout. There was no doubt that this search was going to take a while, but the Uchiha would probably be capable of taking a good rest from the road which he had to take in order to arrive at this place to begin with.

A small piece of cloth could be spotted twenty meters away from the position in which the man was standing, and swiftly the young ANBU was capable of finding it before picking it up. Apparently, it was a ripped piece of what probably was a piece of clothing, a clue which can be used to indicate that the place was not really that far away. Broken branches were also present on the ground, and while throwing those ebony and dull eyes against the soil, the man was capable of picking up some footprints which were quite faint but good enough to indicate where they might lead. Therefore, the young man began tracking down the trails which were taking him towards the center of this small forest, and just at a distance of two hundred feet away, there was a shack located but yet not available to those ebony eyes because of those numerous tress which surrounded the old structure.

Luckily for the young man, the time at which he chose to depart on the mission was rather still on daylight, since the sunlight was needed in order to make the tracking much more easily, and thus things were spotted just like he anticipated. “Where could this bastard by hiding, and why do things need to be so hard. It doesn’t matter, sooner or later I’ll find you.” the Uchiha mumbled towards himself while passing between the trees, keeping those eyes wide open as they were practically feasting on the lad itself. After a total of ten or twenty more minutes, the raven-haired man was capable of spotting a rather old shack which stood between some trees, hidden carefully by any kind of prying eyes which may linger in the nearby. From the outside, the building looked quite normal with nothing that it would make it stand out when compared to another building of this type; however, it also looked lifeless, but it was still worth to be investigated.

With a couple of light and noiseless footsteps, Tenzō began approaching the shack in order to seek out if there were kind of life forms within, or perhaps more clues regarding the location of the kidnapper. Once the raven-haired man had the chance of taking a glimpse of what was inside, there was no doubt that the small shack was also abandoned within; however, while searching up for more clues, the young man was capable of locating some staircases which apparently were leading into a cellar or something along those lines. Without getting himself further inside, the young ANBU began forming up a couple of consecutive hand seals in order to use up a technique which will allow him to track anybody that was located locate around the vicinity of this lifeless shack. Once the seals were finally finished, the Uchiha clapped both hands and kept them tightly against above his chest in order to sense people nearby, which it actually did, revealing in fact that there was only one single person beneath the shack.

There was no time to waste, and the raven-haired man was needed now to descend down the stairs in order to check if this was indeed the location of the kidnapper, since the people who were kidnapped were not spotted with the sensing technique. As such, Tenzō began witness the dim light which came from what appeared to be a den underneath this abandoned and small shack once the man managed to go further down the stairs. There was no doubt, that even for a man like him this place was rather eerie due to the amount of cages that were located on the sides, and that was not really the most creepy thing which could be found within a place like this. And the dim light that was given within this place was because of a few candles that were barely lit, flickering slightly as they added to this whole creepy vibe that took over this place, an unsettling image would be the best to describe this den, a den of evil.

With a couple of footsteps, the Uchiha was capable to dwell deeper within the den and to witness something which appeared to be workbenches that were used for an purpose that was still unknown for the man, but the blood on them were indicating something suspicious nonetheless. In that moment, those ebony and dull eyes were being overtaken by a crimson color which shimmered brightly within the dim light, one which displayed three tomoes around the pupil. With that pair of eyes, the ANBU was capable of witnessing the chakra which belonged towards the man in question, and with a couple of footsteps that were silent the man slithered his way closer to apprehend what was going on. And what he saw the man doing, was indeed shocking; the man was working on a puppet which lingered on the bench that was just beneath the man’s own nose.

The man named Osya was working on quite intensely which allowed the raven-haired man to sneak inside and remain peeking around the corner, at a distance of twenty feet from the man. “You’re going to look pretty when Osya is done with you.” the man around his thirties spoke while hammering a few nails within the puppet, there was no doubt that the man had lost his sanity a long time ago. In that moment, Tenzō was capable of confirming his own target, since that was the name which was written upon the mission contract; some of the reports given by the witnesses stated that the man said his name to one of his victims before disappearing with it, a reckless act to do considering the fact that he was a murderer, a scum which kidnapped all sorts of people for his own need. It was unknown for the Uchiha, but this particular kidnapper was a puppeteer which used the bodies of his own victims to perform research and enhance those puppets of his, and not your normal kind of puppets but those that were made from human bodies.

Making puppets out of human bodies was something that wasn’t viewed highly beneath the Uchiha’s own pair of crimson eyes, since a man who was dead most likely deserved at least the respect of leaving his own body become one with the soil, or at least to dispose of it through some other means and not desecrate it towards this extent. Tenzō was probably not one of the most moral people within this world, and even a man like him was not capable of turning a corpse within a weapon or as a tool for his own pleasure or need, this was something that surpassed even him a shinobi in terms of cruelty. Only a few kinds of people were indeed capable of doing such a gruesome thing, but then again, with a few more thoughts given towards this, the man considering that who was he in order to judge someone in this particular way.

Without further ado, the raven-haired man began waltzing directly towards Osya, forming a few hand seals on his way there before letting out a few words come out between those pale lips of his “Genjutsu, Kokuangyo no Jutsu!” on a whispering tone just so that he may hear it, and once those words were finally finished something interesting was about to happen. The man who was around his thirties, Osya had just been placed within a genjutsu which forced the man lose the ability of seeing, and the only think that the man was capable of seeing was darkness. “Who are you? And how dare you enter this place, you filthy being!” Osya shouted on a tone filled with anger, the fact that he was approached by surprise was the thing which pissed him off. Even though the man had lost his sight, the other senses were available towards him and quickly he began throwing out strings in all kind of directions so that he may access the human bodies which he had prepared as puppets.

Surprisingly, things were going quite in the Uchiha’s favor, since the man wasn’t proficient within ninjutsu and the only thing that could do besides puppetry was medical ninjutsu, something which could not help him in redirecting those strings upon the puppets. As such, Tenzō took advantage of this situation and continued on with his charge while taking out the dagger Incision that was hidden behind his back. With that five finger army clenched around the dagger’s handle, the Uchiha gave a quick swing towards the man and managed to slash the blade a few inches inside the man’s flesh as he passed by him. “WHERE ARE YOU?!!!” Osya screamed in pain, and in spite of his charismatic personality, the man was getting himself more and more nervous.

What followed after was a bit surprising for the raven-haired man, Osya might have not been able to see what was happening around him, but the cunning and devilish creature began forming a few hand seals in order to perform a medical ninjutsu that was capable of closing up that wound of his within seconds. In that moment, Tenzō was capable of deducing the fact that normal attacks with that blade of his might not be enough to finish up the puppeteer, and there was a need for another approach. There was little ninjutsu that the man could use within such a tight spot, and therefore, a risk was needed in order to finish up the man quickly enough so that the genjutsu will not dissipate from its effect. A battle that needed to be completed before the clock will run out, and before the young Uchiha might have a chance of becoming outnumbered, things were really not as easy as the man thought.

Desperate times calls out for the desperate measures, as such, Tenzō circled around the man before relocating himself with the back against the exit and while doing so, another couple of hand seals were made. After two or three seconds, the raven-haired man now halted and began whispering a couple of more words out “Katon, Gōkakyū no Jutsu!” before leaving those lips wide open. A stream of fire began taking form and shape, which slowly turned within a fireball that illuminated the room at least ten times than it was before. The hit was successfully afterwards, which caused the clothes on the man to ignite while the unsheltered skin suffered burning injuries, and this was nothing more than a distraction for what was about to follow up next. Quickly after, the young ANBU threw three shurikens and only two of them were capable of dwelling within the man’s flesh, while the third one managed to stop against a workbench.

The impact caused by the fireball was strong enough to cause the man to lose balance, as such, Osya fell against the workbench while the Uchiha stormed at him with his dagger clenched tightly, aiming a thrusting attack right around the man’s neck, in a location which could not be healed so easily. Tenzō charged in with confidence and managed to pierce that blade within Osya’s throat, but the puppet did not want to give up so easily, and with that right hand of his the man conjured up a medical scalper which went at least two inches inside the Uchiha’s bicep, from the side since the young lad was capable of anticipating the move with the use of his Sharingan. There was no doubt that the Uchiha felt quite lucky in that moment, since the blow was initially aimed for his heart, and it was more than enough to end up his life with a single thrust.

“Finally... that was quite close, and risky...” the Uchiha mumbled towards himself while ripping apart from his own shirt, using it to wrap the wound which began shortly after to bleed, at least it should be slowed down so that the man would not die from the loss of blood. Without further ado, the raven-haired man scoured the room to seek out if there was something worth taking back as information for Konohagakure, but after a couple of minute spent with the den, the man managed to find some proper bandages to further enhance the wrapping around his arm. With that out of the way, the ANBU would proceed back towards the Village Hidden by the Leaves in order to fill out a detailed report about the hideout and the things which occurred there, also to state the fact how Osya was killed and the assignment completed. Once the paperwork was finally finished, the paycheck was also received at the end with the proper amount of ryo that was offered initially as a reward for completing up the mission, as such, the only thing left for now was to visit the hospital in order to close up the wound.
