Another day with another mission ahead, it had been a few days since Sekuro's last mission, he has been at it hard recently taking missions and training whenever he gets a chance. A well deserved two days off and he was ready to get back into it, he prepared himself, cleaning and sharpening his ninja tools the night before and waking up early to make sure everything was accounted for again. He put his clothes together and tied his black jacket up and slipped on black pants as well. Dark colors were his thing and occasionally white if it were a special occasion. Everything was accounted for and it was time to take off for the day ahead.

There were reports of a giant snake on the outskirts of Iwa, according to the report it has been terrorizing the villagers and killing their cattle. There was even a horrible rumor that a small child also had her life taken, it may have not been true but the way the rumor sounds it is most likely that the snake is now becoming hostile to everyone it comes across. It was up to Sekuro to find the snake and eliminate it using any means necessary, but it must be completely eliminated at any cost. He left the village and headed out towards the area known as The Wild West, the place where the snake supposedly resided  and hide at.

He arrived on the scene and stopped on a tree branch, he began looking around, it seemed empty, there were no animals around and the wind seemed to be hardly blowing through this area as well. He began hopping from limb to limb looking for what could be a near 5 meter long snake. As he moved around he stopped suddenly on a branch near a cave and began to hear some hissing, he turned his attention towards the entrance of the small cave awaiting the snake to leave.

In the corner of his eye he saw a figure strike out towards him, he jumped from his spot to the side and avoided it, so it seems the snake wasn't in it's cave but returning to it just then. Sekuro drew a kunai and prepared to battle on this monstrosity, the question was what would be the best way to go about it. The snake then showed itself fully and wound up in a coil with it's head sticking up, hissing right at Sekuro. The python was nearly 3 meters away and didn't seem to move as quickly as Sekuro, although he was sure that the strength of his strikes would be much greater than what Sekuro could deal as well. Sekuro began to prepare his jutsu and find a way to strike the snake and deliver a fatal blow.

He began to circle the snake hopping from branch and bush to another, the snake making quick strikes at him as Sekuro traveled around him. The snakes blows were quick but would miss by just a small bit, it didn't seem to be very perceptive or able to react as quickly as Sekuro could.

The snakes strikes were quick so Sekuro took a jump from a branch directly away from the serpent. The snake seemed to move back towards the bush it had originally come from, it only seemed to be provoked when he came too close, but how long would taunting it out last before it decided to come at him at full force and speed. Sekuro began thinking of a way to counteract the snake and kill it quickly, it shouldn't be hard to do so he began to strategize. Being a user of katon and fuuton jutsu he could destroy the snake, he would just have to wait for a chance to counter one of its strikes and deliver a huge finishing blow.

He leaped at the snake staying over it, the serpent noticed quickly and was not happy about it at all. The python struck at Sekuro trying to grab him so he could squeeze the life out of him but narrowly missed, as he missed Sekuro rotated in air, pulling his kunai out and jamming it into the top of the python's head he drove it downwards, its thick skull protecting it from more serious damage, Sekuro pushed off the kunai back into the air forming the tiger hand seal, Fire Style: Flame Bullet! he let a large flame bullet come crashing down upon the snake and the ground around it. The fire did not hit the whole of the snake but it did hit the snakes head and a large part of his body. The flames burned the snake limiting the snakes ability to move and imobilizing it. Sekuro fell back down towards the ground thinking it had been to a point where it can be defeated but as he hit the ground the snake's tail swung around and struck him in the back.

He was thrown several feet away, the serpent clinging to life and try to keep up with him and keep him away. It would be admirable of the beast to keep fighting like this but with the burns it sustained and the kunai lodged in its head it would barely be able to react. Sekuro leapt upwards over its head and did a flip over the top of its head, bringing his leg down in a drop kick on the kunai to drive it through his skull the rest of the way. Thanks to the burnt flesh and the now heated kunai it passed through with relative ease. He began to take the kunai and cut the snake up to guarantee its death and left the area. Some random animal would probably go through and clean up the leftovers and meat from the snake.

Sekuro cut off one fang of the snake in order to have proof that he completed his mission and headed back towards the village. When he gets back he would report in to the village and collect his payment and sign the paperwork that he completed the mission. He would then go and hang up his jacket and head to a hot spring to relax before calling it a night and getting some well deserved shut eye.
