Ouroboros compound, Orochi main family estate:

"Really, is this all?" Risu sighed, after having gone through an entire heap of paperwork for the clan, going from simple requests to make requests to the Hokage on behalf of some of the Clan's genin or admissions to the Hebi guard to some of the more serious papers which detailed the accounts and dealings of all the recently...dismissed Hebi clan elders. "Where are their records on Enaka's findings, his research and the tests he did regarding our inborn pharmacophobia?"

The young woman looked up from a document she was reading, eyeing on of her servants, who had brought in the pile of papers and was waiting for her to be done with all the work.

"So tell me, Hiruki," The Ouorboros clanleader smiled, leaning a bit back in her chair, glad that she could distract herself from all that pesky paperwork. "You've been standing there like a statue, seemingly waiting for me to discover something...what is it?"

The servant nodded and came closer, pointing at a small map, which had not yet been processed by the slightly annoyed young woman at the desk. "I'd recommend you take a look at this, Milady."

Interested by the servant's request, the young woman looked at the papers the map contained. It was a list of names, names of children ranging from mere infants to young men and women of her own age. One of the names peaked her interest though: Uchiha Yoichi.

"What is this list of names?" The young woman asked the servant, handing it over so the older man could have a look at it.

"Apparently these are the names of the children 'he' wanted to have under his direct control, Milady," the servant replied, handing the paper back to Risu. "Besides using many of those children's parents and family as part of 'his' research, 'he' might have found it interesting to probably oversee their growth on a more personal level and how this growth went in correlation to their overall skill."

"Fancy that, the great and powerful Enaka turning soft on some of those brats, who would've thought?" The young woman laughed, standing up to stretch her legs a bit. "This Uchiha kid, I want you to bring it to me."

The servant made a single bow, before leaving the clanleader's study.

For Risu this was yet again something interesting, after all, she had a few Uchiha's inside her circle already. Uchiha Kyohei, who was seemingly bent on gaining power, then there was the Uchiha Tenzo, who had great promise, but lately seemed to be lacking when it came to trust, which reminded her to make sure she'd test him soon again. However, to know that Enaka had gotten his hands on an Uchiha himself, without so much as a word to her, it must've been one of his research subjects. "This might actually become interesting in my own research."

Training Grounds, Konoha:

Yoichi Uchiha. He was somewhat renowned as a genius, and that's what most people who knew anything about him thought of when they heard his name. Unlike most shinobi, Yoichi hadn't started out his ninja training with physical combat or ninjutsu, but instead with tactics and intelligence. While he may not be physically prodigal, his tactical prowess was immense. It was at the point now that Yoichi had taken a break from his studies, and decided it was high time to start training his body. So it was that he found himself at the Training Grounds every day for the past week. What he lacked in physical power, he made up for in endurance. He found that he could push himself further than most people who didn't have much training.

It had been about 3 hours since he had arrived at the training grounds, and he wasn't at his limit quite yet. While taking a breather from the more physically intensive tasks, such as taijutsu strikes and running laps, Yoichi trained his timing and accuracy. Throwing a shuriken or kunai was easy, but he needed to work on changing the way a kunai flew. Anything leaving his hand would go in a straight line, unless he was using chakra strings. However, the opportunity to use chakra wasn't always present, and sometimes using up chakra could prove to be impossible, as it would be better suited towards other things, other jutsu, or conserving it.

Balancing the kunai on his fingertip, Yoichi took a deep breathe. Steadying himself and preparing his aim, the Uchiha opened his eyes and hurled the kunai knife forward, towards one of the practice dummies, of which two were lined up in front of him. Immediately upon doing so, he pulled out a shuriken, and leapt to the side, hurling it after the Kunai. The two blades collided in mid air, changing the blade's trajectories, and now the shuriken was on the path that the kunai originally was, and the kunai was now heading towards the second target. Yoichi afforded himself a small smile as he heard the thunks of the weapons on the dummies.

As he approached the dummies to take the kunai and shuriken back, the servant that Risu had sent out to fetch him finally arrived. It hadn't taken long to locate him, after all, he'd fallen into a routine in the past week, and didn't really deviate from it. It was fairly easy to find the Uchiha if you wanted to. The servant spoke up. "Yoichi Uchiha. Milady would like to speak with you. Come with me." he said.

Yoichi recognized the man. After all, he'd spent a long portion of his life in the Ouroboros compound. Nodding silently, he pocketed his blades. He had no other personal items with him, so he set off with the servant to head back to the compound, eager to find out what this may be about.

Ouroboros Compound, Orochi Main Family Estate:

Having finally arrived, both Hiruki and Yoichi entered the office. Yoichi had a disinterested look on his face, but that was merely holding back the momentary urge of excitement he had at the prospect of being so close to one with such power as the clan leader of the Ouroboros.

Yoichi looked pretty much as he always did. All of his piercings were in, as he rarely took them out. His right ear has three studs in the helix. His left ear is slightly gauged with a curling and twisting bone like piercing. He wore a simple dark-gray jumpsuit that many of the shinobi of Konoha wore, and a dark blue vest emblazoned with the Uchiha clan crest. Rather than the open toed sandals, he chose black combat boots. He had a belt with utility pouches for his kunai and shuriken, but that was all rather standard. His forehead protector hung down near his neck, and his eyepatch covered his left eye, patches of scarring showing under it. However, it was well documented that his left eye was stolen, so it wouldn't be any surprise.

Bowing slightly, Yoichi simply waited for Risu to address him.

A single knock on the door of the study was enough for a simple "enter" to be heard, whereas the servant opened the door to let himself and the requested Uchiha inside, revealing that Risu had taken the time in which Hiruki had gone out to get herself into a more appropriate attire. With her hair braided in a long tail, with a purple ribbon at its end, her golden eyes were perfectly visible and while she had decided to shed herself from her morning robes, she had donned herself with a longsleeved, unbound Yukata, revealing that she wore a simple, yet formfitting black gi and black standard shinobi sandals underneath. All she wore was practical...not because she was lazy, but because she knew most of her day was going to entail her spending alot of time inside her study to take care of the paperwork that had been piling up over the past few weeks.

As she raised her head, tearing her attention away from the paper she had just signed, to great her servant and the arriving Uchiha with a soft smile, her eyes seemed not to register anything in the room. It was like how a predator did not react visually to a lower classed beast, as it did not feel threatened or impressed at all. However, the change in her eyes came rapidly, when her mind finally caught up with her, making her remember that this kid was Uchiha Yoichi. This young man was of approximately the same age as her, not more than a year's difference. Her eyes suddenly became shiny golden rather than the earlier dull yellow, for now she had gotten interested.

"Well well, so you're Uchiha Yoichi," The Orochi lady said not as a question, but more as a deduction, a realization. "Seems my uncle wasn't picky now, was he? I really thought this kid would be more...spectacular, perhaps even such a genius that he'd already have his mangekyo sharingan. I do remember that was once a saying, isn't it? That no once in a lifetime prodigy should or could be called a prodigy if they did not have the sharingan."

Without expecting an answer, Risu stood up from her chair, not even trying to look away from Yoichi, she walked to the side of her desk, leaning against it, while she stood in front of the tall window that brightened the study, bathing it in the light of the sun. A slightly arrogant smile formed on her face, as her expression showed a certain amount of glee or rather amusement.

"I will only say this once, just like my uncle used to say," The young woman said, while leaning slightly forwards, her eyes locked upon those of the Uchiha. "Before me, your eyes are nothing, you are nothing, your dreams are nothing...all you are is nothing but a mouse standing in front of a snake, realizing its insignificance."

Even if those words were spoken with a cold and rather intimidating voice, Risu seemed to quickly change her mood, as she started chuckling, patted the uchiha on the head and pointed towards a seat near a table on which a caraff of freshly made orange juice and a glass were standing. "Now...I guess you wonder why I've brought you here, right?"

As they entered the room, Yoichi's eyes passed over everything. He took it all in, pointedly too. He didn't make any effort to hide it, he was analyzing every bit of information. The placement of everything on the desk, all of the papers. The smile she gave and the lack of interest in her eyes that betrayed her thoughts. The usual rabble were beneath her attention. Yoichi could have smiled at that point. That was a sign of power. Anyone who looked so disinterested usually carried with them authority and power. But normal authority would have at least looked at the people, not through them. No, this snake was the real deal. Like Enaka before her. And then they shifted. Became interested. This was intriguing, what would someone like her be doing interested in someone as insignificant as him?

Enaka had taken in Yoichi out of sheer morbid curiosity, and perhaps an intelligence thing, but as far as Yoichi could tell, it wasn't like he had really been too interested. He seemed more content to simply take advisement on certain matters, and that was all. Yoichi hadn't been on the forefront of Enaka's plans in the slightest. And then she spoke, once again. Uchiha Yoichi. The name. What was in a name, but the power behind it? Indeed, his deduction was correct. An seeming insult to him and Enaka was thrown his way, as if she was disappointed in Enaka's tastes. However, it was a tactic that Yoichi could only guess was establishing dominance. Predatory animals did it, by making their prey seem weak and insignificant, crushing their spirit and establishing the order.

And then a small reveal as to what she was interested in, perhaps. The mention of Mangekyou Sharingan. Yoichi's eyebrows narrowed slightly. Too many people knew his clan's secrets. It was unfortunate. Indeed though, it was true. He should have mastered the Sharingan by this point, but he'd been too focused on his mind that he hadn't bothered at all. That would soon be rectified, and quickly too. After all, that was his goal, to achieve the ultimate power in the sharingan. The Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, a Sharingan with unlimited uses of the unique jutsu it casted. Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano'o.

He watched on in silence as she got up from her seat and approached the window, never removing her line of sight from him. Staring him down. He couldn't see her eyes, as she was silhouetted by the light from the window, but he always had that feeling that she was watching him closely. It was slightly unnerving. And then the hook. The final line in the establishing of the order. She didn't care about him, his goals, and his sharingan. She was in fact, the one in charge, and that was the way of the world. She even came over and patted him on the head, gesturing for him to take a seat and help himself to some orange juice. He waited for her to finish speaking, as the quintessential question came up. It was expected.

After a moment of silence as he poured a glass of the orange juice and drank a sip, as he was slightly thirsty from training, Yoichi finally spoke. "I can make any number of assumptions as to why I'm here. The first and most obvious is that you're curious about the Uchiha that the former clan head Enaka took in, or why he took me in. I believe you made it clear that my sharingan or lack thereof doesn't concern you in the slightest. I wasn't taken in for my visual prowess, but more out of Enaka's intrigue with my understanding of complex tactics and manuevers at a young age. I assume he wanted to use me as little more than a tool, but I was hardly the only thing of interest to him, as obviously he wasn't concerned with farming me for my sharingan. Or perhaps he lost interest when I lost my eye." Yoichi's left hand reached up and gently touched his eyepatch and scar, before dropping his hand.

"A second assumption I could make is that you were less interested in what Enaka saw in me, and more interested in how I can be of use to you. I'll answer that one right now. My mind, my talents, my services are yours. My mind is a powerful enough weapon as it is, but mix that with a properly trained body, and I can be anything you want me to be. That was what drew me to Enaka in the first place. I am attracted to power, because power begets more power. I don't mind being a tool as long as I get power in return. That being said, I'm loyal. I'm not the kind to forget those that give me power, especially if they have it themselves. You've got it. Since the moment I walked in this door, I noticed it. Your look of disinterest, marking me as a nobody until you realized who I was. The common rabble are beneath you. Then your establishing dominance throughout the rest of the conversation." he took another drink of the juice.

"And let me assure you, I know my place. It's also a possibility that you brought me here merely to dismiss me from the services of the Ouroboros clan. After all, Enaka is no longer in charge. Why would you want someone that he brought in still around? But no, that can't be it. Why make a show of establishing a pecking order, if you were only to send me away? Why offer drinks, a seat? So that can't be it. No, I can sit here and make assumptions and guesses as to why I'm here all day, and some of them may even be correct, but in the end, I can't simply guess as to what anyone's reasons for doing things are." he said, finishing the glass.

"So yes, I suppose you could say I was wondering why you brought me here." he said, blinking his eye and folding his hands on his lap. He spoke in a very logic induced tone, not one of superiority, but of pure analysis, and very matter of fact. However, there was a jovial nature in the way he spoke, almost as if it was some small manner of a joke. He prided himself in the analysis of situations after all. His guesses may not always be correct, but he could only do so much with such little information to go on.

Risu couldn't keep her eyes of the Uchiha, listening intently to his explanation, delving deep into the reason of his existence, the reason why her uncle: Enaka, had taken interest in him in the first place. It seemed that the young man was more proud of his understanding of tactics and constructs of schemes and plans than his overall ability with his sharingan. In a way he seemed to be devoted to one thing and one thing only: power. Every word, every syllable that left his mouth and resonated through the air of the room was filled with that desire to have power, to gain power and seemed so similar to Enaka's reasoning on that very same subject, that it was almost creepy.

However, despite all the words he had spoken, despite the reasons he had given, the questions he had made, the Ouroboros clanhead simply leaned towards him, placing her index finger under the Uchiha's chin and raising his face so she could look straight into his eyes.

"Poor thing, trying to gain power with an incomplete set of sharingan is like trying to run like the wind with only a single leg working," The Orochi lady explained calmly, removing her finger from his chin, while casually walking back towards the chair behind her desk and settling herself comfortably. "If you truly think I would actually need your sharingan...you'd be sadly mistaken. The sharingan is nothing but a tool to the person who wields it, to be obsessed by it, is to be controlled by a mere tool, which makes one less than a shinobi and more of a slave to desires."

It was a fact though, history had been dotted with incidents regarding the sharingan and people's obsession for it, with its most recent case being the Collector Senju Ukiyo, who had fallen at the hands of former ANBU captain and sword saint Sarutobi Mitsuo. Another incident would be the decade long research of her own uncle in trying to surpass the inherent power and potential of the sharingan. All of it was nothing but a simple reoccurence in the flow of time though, as cursed as the sharingan was, as obsessed were others with it.

"Luckily for you, I'd rather see the Uchiha themselves grow along with their remarkable powers of the sharingan, rather than steal it from them when it has been nurtured to its full potential," Risu laughed, playing with the pen on her desk, flipping it around her fingers, turning it upside down and tapping on the wood of her desk, seemingly trying to pass the time.  "Now I wonder...would you like to grow, to nurture your sharingan to its fullest potential? Because there is a way after all, to strengthen both yourself as well as your eyes...or eye in this case. However, I must stress upon the very subject, that a person's full potential or rather a sharingan's full potential can only be meet when the pair is complete and intact. So do tell...what has happened to that eye of yours?"

While Yoichi had been speaking, he couldn't help but feel her eyes on him. It was like she was doing the same thing he was, analyzing everything. Tearing into him. It would have been unnerving to him, but he actually found the concept to be eerily pleasing. Yes, this was absolutely somebody that he would be willing to serve. Perhaps he could even place his trust in this woman. Whatever there was in him to place with someone anyhow. As he finished speaking, however, Risu leaned forward, placing her finger under his chin and raising his gaze to lock her snake-like eyes. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up, as if he'd gotten goosebumps.

She knew what his weakness as an Uchiha was at the moment. His eyes were incomplete. And while they were incomplete, there was no way he could maximize his potential as an Uchiha. Of course, she was right about that. For any Uchiha, they were the only ones who could truly and properly utilize the Sharingan. It was simply inefficient in the hands of someone else. Perhaps that was why she had no use for it. It would simply present too much of a drain on chakra. Or perhaps there was some other reason. It appeared to him though, that she just detested the idea of relying on a sharingan for her own power. To be fair, so did Yoichi. He made his entire life and prowess without a sharingan. The weakness of the Uchiha was over reliance on the power of the eye. He stored his own thoughts on the matter away for the moment though. He'd bring them up when Risu was done speaking.

And finally, now she got to the point, and the reason she'd brought him here in the first place. She wanted to see the Uchiha as a whole grow and reach their full potential. Perhaps she wanted them under her control, or perhaps she just wanted a shift in power, but one thing was absolutely clear. She had no interest in farming the Uchiha for their eyes, and he believed that she was telling the truth. Call it intuition or a guess, but he had a gut feeling he could believe that. And then the question was posed. Would he like to grow in strength of body and sharingan? Well, there could be no doubt about his answer. Of course he did, and she knew it. He'd made that much clear earlier. Now was the moment to make a decision about Risu.

Yoichi sighed, bridging his fingers over his nose, and closed his eyes, thinking. As he did so, he spoke his mind about something he'd heard earlier, still deciding. "I agree. A Sharingan is a tool. A tool that can only be properly and optimally used by an Uchiha. The downfall of the Uchiha was always over reliance on the doujutsu. It's the same with the Hyuuga clan's Byakugan. There's a reason I spent my life honing my mind and skills rather than my sharingan. With the intellect I possess, I could have, perhaps, attained Mangekyou Sharingan by now, but at the cost of me relying on it. Now, however, if I were to complete it, it would be as much a tool as a Kunai or Shuriken. Or a summons. Or any ninja tool. Something I could easily do without, just as much as I could do with it. I am no slave to the Sharingan. It is something I want to complete, and is my ultimate goal, but it is also one that is optional."

As he finally opened his eyes, his mind had been made up. "I'm fully aware of the fact that the true potential of the sharingan can only be met with a complete pair.." as he said that, Yoichi lifted his eye patch, pulling it off of his head completely. His eye underneath remained closed shut, but the full scar was now visible. " I served under Enaka, and I'm aware that he differs from you. The Sharingan was more than just a tool, it was something he'd expirement with. Much like other people, he saw the Uchiha's as little more than Sharingan carriers. So I crafted a scheme. One that even fooled Enaka."

Opening his left eye, he revealed a very intact, undamaged eye. "In order to protect at least one eye, I faked my eye being stolen. To be honest, it hurt like a bitch, scarring my face and ripping my own eye out, but it was either that, or risk both being taken at some point. At least in this case, it was only risking one eye being stolen. Who would bother to look under the eye patch assuming they got my right eye? I had my eye reimplanted by a medic, after the eye had been documented as missing or stolen, of course, so that it wasn't a lie on the doctor's part. You know how they are, with their sense of integrity. It was enough, though, for that small measure. He didn't feel like it was a lie then. Of course, shortly after, many people in the Ouroboros clan died. He was one of them. That left me the only one who knew my secret, and with a medically documented missing eye, presents a hidden danger to any enemy, as well as a safe guard of my own. So I would, yes. I would like to grow, with your assistance." he explained. If he was going to accept Risu's offer, he would give her full disclosure.

The clanleader was indeed quite surprised by the reveal she was given, seeing as this kid was actually able to outsmart, albeit probably with some degree of luck, but still able to outsmart her uncle Orochi Enaka, a man who had taken on the mantle of being the 'all-knowing'. Perhaps this was ofcourse a self granted title, but it was closer to the truth many could've expected, after all Enaka was and remained to date one of the most extensive researchers on both national and international intelligence in both the politics and the shinobi knowledge pool.

With a chuckle, Risu signified her quite pleasant surprise, deciding that maybe indeed this Uchiha had potential enough to take part in a series of grueling, demanding and probably practically lethal training methods with as only goal to draw out Yoichi's full potential and harness it to her own liking and her own ambition, which no matter what was still the first priority above the intention of nurturing other, interesting shinobi's potentials.

"I must say that it seems my own actions have brought you up to this point of being free, without anyone truly knowing the history of that eye," She laughed soundly, amused by the very fact that it was indeed her recent purging of the clan's internal fueds and struggles that had apparently led to this Uchiha's secret being completely detained within his own desire. "It seems that unlike Enaka thought, fate does work in mysterious ways. Coincidence does exist and we're all just parts of something bigger...just kidding, as if I'd allow that to be a reality."

Thinking about it all, the young woman couldn't refrain herself from smiling, knowing that it was almost to good to be true. Sure, she wasn't going to sacrifice any of her pawns...unless if it was of vital essence. She'd actually rather have them all sort it out by themselves, for only in this way was she able to truly take the spoils for her own. As she pondered about the course of action she had to take with this man, Risu remembered how she had managed to bring Tenzo to the current peak of his potential, sure that one had a gift regarding the use of both his strength and his skill with his sharingan, but all in all, he was different. So far, this one was more likely to become a team leader of sorts, a man who would not try to avoid the darkness, but embrace it and utilize it for his own purposes.

"To be absolutely clear, I want you to do something for me," The Orochi lady so swiftly exclaimed, almost making sure that there would not be any possible way for the Uchiha to argue this decision. "Given your tactical and more...strategic approach to the entire way of the shinobi, it should be apparent that gathering intelligence is probably your most notable strength as of now. So in the long run I have a long term assignment for you, which without a question would actually complete your entire training."

The young woman walked towards a cabinet in the room, a large, beautifully crafted, yet sturdy looking thing, which she opened to reveal a small, steel box, not much larger than an ordinary pencil-case. With a small key attached to the golden, heartshaped locker she was wearing, she opened the box, yet only by turning it around, were the contents of the box revealed.

A pair of golden, shimmering eyes floating in a mixture of alcohol and chloroform were now looking straight towards the youngster in the chair. Little imagination was needed to realize the origin of these eyes, as they were exactly the same as the eyes of Lady Risu herself, with a single minute difference, which was only visible to those with either a very high sensibility to chakra or with exceptional vision such as those possessing the sharingan and the byakugan. The eyes were almost soaked in chakra, chakra with various natures and various origins, but most notibly with a strange, almost synthetic feel to it.

"What you see here, is probably my uncle's most extensive research and most elaborate masterpiece," The young woman explained calmly, while sitting down again, trying to see how much of a reaction the Uchiha would give to the view of these eyes before he'd actually know the full truth. "Luckily for the both of us, these are harmless, failed examples. However, in reality, it is thought that my uncle has succeeded in creating a fully functional set of eyes such as these, dubbing them the Basilisk eyes, with as their template my mother's eyes. This synthetic doujutsu, this abomination of human research was thought to have never been completed, but some of my sources indicate that he had actually managed to create these and has them hidden somewhere."

Closing the box, the young woman sighed a bit, locking it with the key from her locket and putting the container back into the cabinet, settling herself back into the chair behind her desk.

"Even with these failed eyes, prolonged exposure is very damaging to our health and chakra reserves," Risu explained, putting her hands together and leaning with her chin upon her folded hands, her elbows supporting her entirely. "Would you be interested in taking this as your training regarding your tactical and strategical skills, so we can move on to discuss how we're going to bring out your physical potential?"

The look of surprise on her face brought a smile to Yoichi's own. Not a fake one either. It was genuinely a happy smile. The fact that he was legitimately capable of convincing people as to his ploy, meant that he was indeed good at pulling these things off. That had to have scored some points. Perhaps she was even now reevaluating her first thoughts on him. After all, he wasn't an imposing person, and wasn't much to look at on the first glance. But first impressions were important. Deciding to keep his eye patch off for the moment, Yoichi's eyes both blinked, as one got used to the light and seeing again.

Apparantly Risu found something amusing, judging by the tone of her voice. It appeared she had some part to do with keeping his secret safe. And then it clicked. The purge of the clan. Yes, indeed. His new Lord, or rather, Lady, was responsible for foiling Enaka's plans for Yoichi, just as much as Yoichi was responsible for it with his deceptions. Ironic, really, how that worked out.

And then the tone shifted back towards a more serious nature. Lady Risu didn't allow him much time to speak, or offer rebuttals when she spoke. She was certainly a lady who liked to say all she needed to say in one go, rather than allow any interruptions. Not that he would interrupt anyhow. Somehow, Yoichi thought that might go poorly for his health. "I would agree. Intelligence gathering and reconnaissance would indeed be my current strengths." he said, as she was walking over to the cabinet.

The contents of which were rather.... intriguing. Yoichi stood up and moved closer to get a better view of the eyes, obviously perplexed. Some sort of artificial doujutsu huh? That's what Enaka was up to. his experiments with the Sharingan, although, judging by these eyes, he was attempting to make it integrate with his own bloodline. To improve the visual prowess of the Ouroboros. Or, rather, himself. He listened intently as Risu spoke, about how it was a failed experiment, and these were harmless. And then she put them away, sighing. His eyes narrowed slightly. He was beginning to understand the picture a little better.

"Those eyes are dangerous enough to hurt us, even in a failed state with prolonged exposure? I see. And if he completed some somewhere, and I could acquire them for you, then of course you'd never want the Sharingan. Even if they were at the same level of power, you could never fully utilize a sharingan without unecessarily draining your own reserves of chakra too quickly. That would prove to be too inefficient for you. But this set of eyes, were they to exist, that you could utilize would make you more dangerous than any Uchiha. I think I understand now." he said, a gleam in his eyes. "I would relish the challenge of helping you acquire these eyes, Lady Risu. Of course. So now that that's settled, you were saying about the topic of my physical potential?"

When the Uchiha agreed that using his most outstanding skills as a basis would be the best way to get on with a long term training was the best, Risu gave a simple, yet rather cold smile. She was content now, no longer feeling it necessary to hide her true nature under any cover or veil. What was sitting in front of the Uchiha was not just a simple young, teenage, hardly adult clanleader. No, she was by all means fully accomplished, having gained the position of ANBU captain at age seventeen wasn't completely impossible or overly special, but it was still impressive, certainly given the known fact that she had only restarted her career as a shinobi after having been in a catatonic state for four years due to mental complications and past traumas, but now here she was, stronger than ever, ready to take down all who stood in her way and ready to grow beyond the far reaches her own uncle had created.

"Good, good to know you so willingly accept this mission," The Orochi lady almost hummed, closing her eyes momentarily, thinking about her offer on how to train and strengthen the young man's more physically directed growth. It was when she was thinking about this, that she actually realized that she could be hitting two birds with one stone. "I think I might've found something interesting for you to do. It's nothing big, but it would give you some semblance of a decent work out for now. With this I can actually make sure how to strengthen you correctly."

Opening a drawer from her desk, the young woman pulled out a map filled with documents regarding the remains of her uncle's old hideouts and the remnants of his still vast network. Event though he wasin prison, the young woman was sure that he still had Hataro; that fiendish puppeteer maintain his network and his organisation, though she did not truly understand why he would still be doing it, but that was a concern for later.

For now, focusing on her own network, her control over the ANBU and her spies in prison were all which mattered. That, and the growth of those who she would eventually be employing for the more delicate works, like this Uchiha Yoichi.

"Ah, here it is," The Orochi lady suddenly exclaimed, taking a single piece of paper out of the entire map. It only detailed a location and some names, but for Risu it was clear, these names were researchers and this location was without a doubt either a hideout for the Black ANBU's research or for their documents. "All I want you to do is go to this location, if possible find these people and any researchfiles you can get your hands on. Who knows, it might even help you in your long term mission. Any questions left?"

Leaning back a bit, she slid the paper to the other side of the desk, waiting for the Uchiha to take it, read it and either ask questions or understand his task.

"I won't often question your orders Lady Risu. If you assign me a mission, I'm going to assume it's because I can get it done. Even if I can't, there's some reason for it. It would be pointless to turn down something such as that. Ultimate goals which can be achieved and end my training are rather interesting, as it's a final test to pit myself against, of course." he spoke. The way she was talking, it seemed to Yoichi that she had expected some sort of protest from Yoichi about his artificial doujutsu hunt. Sure, he was a bit apprehensive about it, but if he found the eyes for her, then she'd have no reason to want his Sharingan. Sharingan safe, and with Risu being greatful to him for helping her, he'd never have to worry about trusting her. So there wasn't any reason for him to not accept the mission.

As Lady Risu opened the desk and pulled out the map, Yoichi's interest grew a little bit. Papers, details, these sort of things were the things that intrigued him. Not enough for him to blatantly stare at them, or attempt to read or memorize anything, but enough to wonder what it was that she had planned for him to do.

"Well of course, I'm going to need some information Lady Risu. If this is a mission, I'll need more information on objectives, on things of interest, things to look out for, people to avoid. Approximate difficulty of people I might run into, and if they'll put up a fuss or fight about me being there. In short, I need you to tell me as much information as possible. You said it'd give me a decent workout, which implies there might be some physical trouble once I arrive. Either that, or it's physically intensive to even get there." he said, looking at the paper she'd slid across the table. "Standard protocol dictates that a debriefing involve all you can tell me on a specific thing. Apart from that, I have no questions."

He really didn't. He didn't know enough at the moment to really ask her any questions. Anything he could ask might be explained to him anyways. Going to a location, finding people, getting his hands on research papers. From what he'd gathered so far, he was simply raiding some place that was for the most part, undefended. Perhaps it had been abandoned, perhaps it was so well hidden that it didn't need guards, perhaps many things. The people he was meant to find, perhaps they were scientists or researchers. Perhaps they were test subjects, experiments. If they were the first, their fighting capability might be low. If they were the latter, then perhaps that was his training? He simply didn't know enough, for anything more than pure speculation at this point. Hence why he sat, and waited for a further debrief. He'd already accepted this form of training, which was enough validation for Lady Risu to continue speaking. For now, he satisfied himself looking around the room with both of his eyes, something he wasn't really used to being able to do.

Smart, a bit underhanded, but certainly well-versed in knowing how to deal with it all. This kid...was tremendous, fearsomely so. It made him all the more enticing for Risu, all the more interesting and all the more desirable. Yes, even if this kid would eventually lack the sheer raw power and physical capabilities of many of the men she had under her wing, he would no doubt excel in the field of tactical combat. The fact he diligently inquired for more information showed that he was at least dedicated to the missions he was given,a good quality indeed.

"Good question, very good question, Yoichi," the young woman laughed, leaning back a bit to check the rest of the documents in the map, searching for a few specific papers, which she found in a single flip through the entire heap of those papers. "It's nothing alarming, just a simple in and out routine."

Placing four papers on the desk, two pairs to be exact, she slid those to the young Uchiha as well, knowing fully well that he'd love to see the contents of those as well. She wondered how much he'd need to know to determine he was fit enough for this mission or not. Not everyone recognized the small pitfalls in actual documents, not even trying to read between the lines, but maybe this kid would actually do so.

"First off, the location," Risu calmly continued, trying to debrief the mission to the young man as he desired. "It's an old underground facility near the Naka river, three miles upstream from the village. It's a single level base, with a single corridor leading to all the rooms, however...that is what the documents say, but there is actually a second floor, where they have a lab, two holding cells and a record room. It's the record room in which you need to be. There will be files for failed and succesfull experiments, but I only want the succesfull ones that have been classified as A-rank or above, which shouldn't be that much in such a small facility."

Hoping that the Uchiha would understand and remember all this, Risu tried to observe the young man's expressions to the best of her own ability. Even though she was probably almost as brilliant when it came to medical research as her uncle, she still lacked his more fine tuned skills of being able to read people's emotions from the way their eyebrows perked, the corners of their mouths twitched and so forth, so in a way this was her training.

"The two researchers are Haruda Rito and Himura Orso," The orochi lady continued the debriefing. "Haruda is a sixty-four year old fuuinjutsu researcher, who has been dabbling in combining seals with medical jutsu and how to actually make seals with medical jutsu. His work will be greatly appreciated for my own purposes and I want him alive. Himura Orso on the other hand is quite an able-bodied thirty-two year old researcher, who was tasked with finding a way to instantly make human beings reach their physical peak and create a serum for them to maintain it even through old age. He has failed more than once and I have no need for his services...he has been deemed absolete and is prone for elimination. The facility itself should not house any dangerous projects, though I would advice approaching Himura Orso with caution, for even if his serum has been deemed a failure by my uncle, there was still the Venom project which...was succefully created by that very same man. That's all."

Yoichi nodded, as she informed him that the mission was a very simple in and out routine. That would be a simple thing then, with little in the way of trouble. That was good. Although, conversely, that meant that whatever trouble he might encounter, would be much more of a formidable opponent. And 1 or 2 big troubles, were worse than 10 or 20 lesser troubles, in his eyes. Anyhhow, he turned his attention back to Lady Risu, instead of at his thoughts. "Naka River? That's on Uchiha property." Yoichi mumbled to himself. A flash of an old memory appeaered in his head. Shaking it away, he brought himself back to the present. Time to dwell on the past would present itself later.

He continued listening to the orders and debriefing, mentally taking down everything he could. His hand tapped silently on his thigh, two slow taps, three fast. Two slow, three fast. Repeating the process over and over again. It was a memorization technique he'd learned helped him retain information better. By using muscle memory, Yoichi was able to recall things more vividly when he repeated an action that he had been doing whilst absorbing that information. Then it was a simple matter for him to recall anything. All he had to remember, was what action he was doing at the time, and that was significantly easier than recalling precise information on the spot.

His face, however, also gave off some expressions. He had a great poker face, but that was when he needed to have one. While memorizing, his eyes darted from side to side, as if typing or writing something down. He was putting her words into text in his mind, and reading off what she was saying. This was another memorization technique. By focusing on her words, he got the hearing aspect. By repeating them in his mind, he got a second dose of memorization. By having to then write it down mentally, he was getting a third dose of memorization. And with the muscle memory he was doing as well, it was a full four different ways of remembering. Suffice it to say, Yoichi always picked up every bit of information. Some said, some not. He was able to analyze different contexts and meanings behind things.

Smiling, Yoichi nodded, his memorizing finished. "So. I see, he may not have found a way to instantly peak off human potential, but that doesn't mean he hasn't made something that can increase the humans current body at the point they take it. Indeed, even though that failed, it's a large possibility that he's more successful short term things, as well increasingly dangerous. I'll keep careful eyes out Lady Risu. If I can, I'll be collecting more than just the successful A rank experiment files. Even failed ones contain treasure troughs of knowledge, and a diamond might shine through some of the failures. At the very least, it'll give me some clues I can ultimately go off of to figure out some of their techniques. Depending on what the experiments were, I might be able to determine what steps they may have then followed, and how they'd bring those failures into a success. In which case, it would help me immensely in figuring out where the eyes could be. After all, new steps and new measures need to be done at different places, different resources. A trail could be followed. But I'll prioritize your data and the mission. Haruda is to be taken in alive, and I assume he won't cause much trouble, but Himura might inject himself with some serum. I'll take him down promptly, hopefully before he has the chance to do so. If that's all, I'll be leaving then. I'll be doing some training and recconaisance before I take it on, but that shouldn't take long."

Yoichi would wait a few more moments, to see if she had anything further to say. If not, he would take his leave there, but if so, he'd listen, offer a quick response, and leave. He had quite a lot on his mind, and much to ponder over the next little bit of time, so it was going to be an interesting next few days. It seems fate had handed him the perfect hand.
