Toshiko Uzumaki

Toshiko Uzumaki

D-rank
due to laziness and mere procrastination, Toshiko was in sunagakure, the village of the sand wayyy longer than he originally planned to.

For him and his travel route it was supposed to be a mere 5 days per village, providing them with enough to study the different cultures of the people and see how them and their personalities varied from village to village, do a little sight seeing, and then move on to the next. Their plan was to be back in konoha in a month, a month in a half at most, but sadly things didn't go that way. Toshiko found himself becoming very busy pulling off various missions for sunagakure, and his travel group practically diminished and was called off. Keith went missing in action, was found and then taken back to konoha. His fellow konoha nin turned annoying egotistical enemy suutei went off on his own after his promotion, and was granted a solo travel. Thus leaving Toshiko in sunagakure by himself, leaving him with way more time on his hands than originally intended.

With his new found free time due to the cut of his travel group, he would find himself at local festivals within the center of the village from the moment he left his hotel in the morning, to around 11 at night. He'd play carnival games, associating with other people within the village, even training off on his own for most nights. After about a month of endless recreation and increasing his skills, he decided it was time to leave. He intended to leave early in the morning, believing that he'd need quite the amount of sunlight for his travel from village to village. Despite that, he felt somewhat, drained early that morning, decided to hold off for a few hours to rest up. After taking a quite lengthy nap, he woke up at around noon. He had about 5 roughly 6 hours of sunlight left, and now was the time to go.

He gathered up all of his belongs, not hesitating to grab up his ryo pouch and his almost broken tanto. after he had gotten everything, he made his way out the hotel, and towards the border of sunagakure. He looked around as he walked through the busy streets of the village. Suna nin wandered around, patrolling to make sure no crimes were being committed. Most likely genin on their first mission. Toshiko smiled as nostalgia came unto him, causing him to remember his first genin mission when he had to prevent a shop from being robbed. The thought of it brought a smile to his face. The memories of who he was then compared to who he had become now.

It was a bittersweet feelings. The villagers and ninja of suna who he expected to be so different were in all honesty, pretty much the same. they were all people. they were his fellow ninja. and he was glad to be able to experience being in their environment. It would be kinda sad to leave, he wasn't going to lie. But he had to move on with his travel route. There were still 3 more amazing villages for him to visit, and then he'd have to go back home. He actually looked forward to it. He was feeling a little homesick despite how much he was enjoying exploring the other parts of the world. He'd have to train more as well. He wanted to return home with more abilities and skills than he'd left with. Honestly that was his whole purpose in traveling anyways.

He still had a lot more to learn, and a lot more ways he needed to find himself. He promised himself that he'd return with capabilities exceeding those that he had after the chuunin exams. He couldn't fall behind. He still had to spar with his sensei, sousetsu and beat him at least once.

he found himself right at the border of the village while lost in his thought. Toshiko smiled when he saw the endless dunes of sand, and the highlights of the next village far off in the distance. the sun was beginning to set, and he had no time to lose. He took one last look at sunagakure, smiling and remembering the memories he had made there. With that, he turned for the large desert, making his way for the next village to explore.
