Mission:

"I'm done for today. If you need anything, you'll find me at Koudo Sutajiamu." Came the masculine voice of Gaunyin Nanashi. The medical nin waving good-bye to the hospital staff as he exited the building, having just finished his, now, typical night shift at Iwa's Hospital. A cool blast of morning air greeted him, blowing silver locks into his face that were swiped away quickly. It is too early for the majority of Iwa's merchants and others who made their living through selling product, to have their shops and stands open for the day. However, while many haven't open their businesses yet, a select few, the smart ones, had already done such and were reaping the benefits from the decision by selling to those who worked night shifts - mainly shinobi.

Moving through the sparsely populated streets, and waving and greeting those who were either about to start or end their day, Nanashi's came upon an open stand and bought an apple before continuing on his way. He savored the taste of the delicious apple it being the perfect sweetness but not overly so. As he enjoyed the fruit, his stomach being appreciative of the nutrients, his thoughts drifted to an interesting topic: Squad 3.

]Upon returning returning to Iwagakure no Sato, three days ago, he immediately went about in finding information regarding Yuurei Jet, Suteki Yaku, and Uriko Yuki, the three girls who comprised the Squad that was dumped onto him by Akira. Information pertaining to them wasn't that difficult to find, a simply trip to the Shinobi and Hospital archives giving him all the information he needed regard the them. He also spent some time talking to their former academy instructor and fellow comrades  in hopes to get a better understanding of each member on a more personal, something that can't be achieved through reading files. The information he garnered helped him immensely in giving him a better understanding who each was. And it quickly became apparently that his work will be cut out for him when dealing with the three and he looked forward to it.

Nanashi didn't bother in coming up with a training regiment for Squad 3, yet, wanting to see how they handle themselves in a mission without any formal training or team work exercises with their fellow team-mate. Now he couldn't just throw them into a mission that threaten their lives, well he could, but that would be insensitive and unbecoming of a sensei, so instead he chose something more 'safe' and in a control environment. The mission instead dealt with giving twenty eager, somewhat cocky academy students that are about to graduation in two day, battle experience. While it would give the academy students the needed experience, it will also help Squad 3 in fighting large groups when they themselves never worked together.

It's because of the mission that Nanashi founded himself walking through the hallways of the Academy. He had went home, after devouring the apple, and changed into a grey kosode, black divided hakama with a white obi tied around the waist, a dark blue, almost black, haori with the Gaunyin clan sign in gold on the back of it with stereotypical geta cladded on his feet. The Iwa head band was worn loosely around his head doing nothing to keep his bangs from obscuring his vision. Of course, there were weapons hidden within on his person - specifically his senbons.

It didn't take long for him to find the classroom of the upcoming graduates, having asked someone at the front office for the information. Reaching the room in question, Nanashi spoke with the chuunin instructor with regarding the parameters of the mission and given the teacher some reinsurance of their students safety, mentioning he'll be there to heal all wounds afflicted onto them, along with convincing the teacher to partake in the mission as well - more for Nanashi's sake than his students. Having hashed out the details, Nanashi followed the class outside into the rather spacious, but barren, circular stadium  located at Koudo Sutajiumu.

His lone yellow eye looked across the academy students as they were each handed a simple kunai and told about the upcoming exercise. Standing beside the academy instructor, Nanashi began making small talk with him, as he waited for his students to arrive. The silver haired man having sent letters to all of three of them that told them to meet up at Koudo Sutajiumu for training, leaving out anything regarding the mission.

The young girl was up just before dawn, a normal characteristic for Suteki. She was out and about enjoying a morning walk just after the sun had crept above the a mountain peak, warming the cool brisk air that had swallowed Iwagakure no Sato during the night. It was three days since the ending of the Chuunin Exams, still awaiting results from her participation. As she looked up at the mountain, now it's features just becoming visible from the morning sun, she remembered she had an engagement set later that day. Suteki was supposed to meet up with Squad 3, Jet and Uriko Yuki, along with that MAN, Nanashi, for some form of training. She had made the mistake of misinterpreting the man's comments back at Takigakure, which had led to a horrible first meeting, but she was passed that now. It was a mistake, and nothing more, and would be easily rectified by just treating as if it never happened. It might have been overly simplified on her part, but unless someone thought otherwise, she wouldn't bring the matter up.

She watched the sun continue to rise, and the village slowly starting to gain life within, and slowly headed towards a the shops to grab something to eat, and watch the area grow in intensity. She had plenty of time, and didn't want to be the first one at Koudo Sutajiumu. She had no intention of being late, just not being the first one there. The underground stadium was a distance away, but she had about 2 hours before needing to be there.

An old woman, holding two bags. A man stumbling as he walked, sleepy and drunk from an all night binger. A woman and a kid, being led around on a leash. A group of children ran up to the kid, holding out an apple for him to have, stroking his head and back, laughing as the woman spoke to them softly, unable to be heard from where she was sitting, as a man sternly spoke, asking for a dozen loafs of bread. The children ran away, and the kid looked right at her. She tossed a piece of her food on the ground and he headed towards her. As he got close, the woman yanked the leash, leading them both back home. It was a waste but it didn't bother her much, she was done, now looking at what else was to be seen.

After an hour of watching the coming and goings, she decided it was a good time to start heading toward the stadium. She had never been to Koudo Sutajiumu, but she had heard about it and where it was located. She slowly meandered to the location, stopping from time to time to window shop at a clothing store, flower shop, and toy store.

The large underground stadium was very spacious, easily able to afford space for several thousand. She stayed near the top of the stadium, being the first one there of course, and tried to remain out of site until Nanashi showed up, or someone else. After about 20 minuets, echoes rang from below as several people ran into the stadium about her age. At least 20 or so kids, yelling and running around, seeming to be surprised and quite interested in seeing the stadium themselves. Below, she could hear several of them awe, and one or two say they had been there before, seeing some tough shinobi duke it out. She listened to the story spoken by one of the kids, than others in amazement by the story and asking questions about what happened. An adult walked in soon after, trying to coral the kids slightly into an area as they headed for the arena. Another man was along side the guy, as one of them started to walk from child to child, saying something about kunia for practicing and defending themselves with. She didn't recognize the voices, or the two men below, but she deduced that they must be apart of the shinobi academy. Otherwise, it would have been odd for two adults to be handing a bunch of kids weapons to be using....on each other. Perhaps these two guys were doing something illegal. She got up from the rafters and headed inside, following the staircase hidden from site going to the ground floor.

Suteki eventually found the way to get onto the field and peered out from one of the entry ways. She was close enough now to slightly recognize one of the men standing in the arena. Nanashi was here, and he was carrying on a conversation with the other man. She stayed her ground, watching and waiting for someone else to show up before making an entrance as well.

Jester looked around her and pulled on her gas mask and goggles over her face to hide her identity. Her usual reddish orange hoodie was swapped out for a plain silver on with black rings. Only her shorts, tights, and shoes remained the same. Carefully she use her gloved hands to pick the lock and after a couple seconds the padlock fell but she made sure to catch it in time before it can hit the ground and make a loud noise. Though as she gently pushed the iron gates open they made an ever so loud screech that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand. Damn. But with a quick survey of the area, she let out a silent breath of relief. She was alone…wherever she was or at least she thought so. A thick fog enveloped the area within seconds of opening the gate. Even the gate itself seemed to fade into the mist. A bit on edge, Jet grabbed the chain that held the padlock and wrapped it around her hand like a whip. You never know when this might come in handy. She mused to herself, grinning as she did so.

Carefully as she walked through the fog, her eyes shifting from the forest green to a sunset amber as she did so. It was something of a revelation she had something ago, her eyes changing colors. Green represented her placid childlike that everyone knew. Red was of course her insanity and her thirst for blood. This reddish orange sunset amber however…well she had theories on it but she had nothing concrete so far. She developed this new color shortly after meeting the Yuurei in Taki. The memory of him brought a halfhearted smile to her face though it still looked like a smirk. He was far from what she’d imagine a Yuurei to be course most people were. The only thing the two of them shared was their innate stealth abilities and tendency to be cold, emotionless, hunters waiting for their next batch of order to dispose of haughty prey.

Her thoughts we broken as she stumbled and fell face first into the ground. Or at least she would've had a hand not caught her wrist. The stranger pulled her to her feet and gave her a cold stare. “What business do you have here Yuurei?” his voice was even yet cold but you could hear the anger in his words as reign in they were. She faced the voice but it was hard to make out his features in the fog so she got an outline since few areas were clear such as the tanto strapped to his back.

If she hadn’t felt similar or worse killing intent she would’ve faltered but of course she had to pretend she did. She shifted unconformable and her cheeks heated up, a bright red dusting them. “Hehe oh uh um we were just visiting some relatives. Y’know paying respects to the family and what not” her voice was bashful and full of embarrassing regret as if she was a child getting scolded by his mother for bringing mud into the house. The fog seemed to begin to dissipate, slowly but it was getting there; allowing for a few rays of sunshine to peek through until it was barely there. It felt easier to breath and with her sight restored she could make out the man’s features. He had a white porcelain mask of a rhino and the standard ANBU garb. Well isn’t this just fucking fantastic. We just had to meet a damn ANBU here in a graveyard of all places.

It was difficult but Jet could make out pale blue eyes from the eye sockets along with some spiky purple hair peeking out from the bandanna he wore over his head. He tilted his head to the side and inspected the girl carefully, no doubt not believing her. He  remembered reading up on her files after overhearing just what occurred during the interrogation of a potential spy and threat to the village from his colleague not long after she appeared in Iwa with a dead or at least on the brink of it, chuunin in her arm covered in blood."I was not aware that you had any relatives from Iwa"

Oh how much Jet wanted to snap at him and make use of her colorful language but it would be unwise. For a moment she pondered the possibility of flat out ignoring him and running away but that of course was a stupid idea. 1-He was at least a spec. jounin or higher so he was definitely stronger and fast than her. 2-She was right in front of him and she didn't have any smoke bombs so creeping away wouldn't work. 3-This guys...who shall be called Rhino for now...was an ANBU, the elite among shinobi and she was a measly genin, one whom wasn't well liked by the populace and wasn't native to Iwa. So..she had to lie her way out of this. Shouldn't be too hard, lying came as easily to her as breathing. Thank god she had perfected her acting skills.

"There is a lot about us you don't know...not like anyone bothers to anyway. Nobody cares but we're getting off topic. They"Jet paused pointing to a family grave under the surname Kanzaki all whose names she memorized at that exact moment"Are on my father's side. Mori Kanzaki was my father's father. Basically my grandpa. I'm sure you know him right? He was a shinobi who had died protecting his family from a raid whilst on vacation in Kaze no Kuni. He died along with his wife Megumi and their children. However only the daughter's body was found and the song who was reported missing was declared dead after 72 hours. My father was saved by a merchant caravan who found him on the brink of death in the desert but when asked about his family and whatnot he couldn't remember. Just that there was a lot of blood. Pitied he was taken to live with them until he settled in Suna. A few years and a lot of therapy sessions later he remembered his family and what happened to them but he didn't want to return to Iwa. He had settled so nicely into Suna already with friend and a family. Since my father has long since past I wanted to pay my respects to the family in his place."This wasn't a full lie since this was mostly true. She did quite a bit of research on the shinobi hear and frequented the graveyard quite often. But just to sweeten the deal she hiccup and tears gathered in her eyes.

Rhino seemed to ponder her words for a moment. He did hear of a Mori but the name was so generic among civilian clans. But then again he didn't have any evidence to persecute her. Not to mention she sounded convincingly enough. Though the chain wrapped around her hand looked suspicious. "What about that chain that you have got there? Expecting some sort of fight? And the graveyard isn't even open around this time. You may be visiting but unless this place is open you are trespassing" Though we are doing the exact same thing Rhino admitted to himself. He too was here visiting the grave of his teammates who died during a crime bust gone wrong. For a moment he felt some sort of regret tug at his heart for interrupting the poor girl who for all he knew was really telling the truth and was visiting family. If she was he was interrupting something very personal, a thing he tried to refrain from.

Jet's shy demeanor faded and was soon replaced by her happy go lucky self. "Its shiny like our rings hehe. See how its sparkles in the light. Its like almost covered in glitter or something" She let the chain loose in her hand and dangled it around excitedly, the light shinning as it reflected off the metal. Then she paused into a deep thought or what seemed to be "But mister aren't you here to visit some friends too? If we aren't supposed to be here neither are you" Rhino wanted to retort but Jet found her way into his personal bubble into his face, though she only reached his chin even as she was standing on her toes "Aren't you like a super cool hero? I mean you got a mask and everything. I bet you saved the village a bunch of times! Kage-sama must really be thankful to have such a strong and dependable shinobi under his command"

And all his teachings about ridding himself of his emotions and never giving in to praise and temptation when out the window. It was safe to assume that Rhino was blushing underneath his mask as his posture slacken, no doubt enjoying the praise, something he seemed not to indulge himself in too often. "Maa maa I'm not that great really."

He was about to continue when a genin ran up to them. He was short with wild brown hair and green eye wearing a plain t-shirt, shorts, and blue sandals. He looked out of breath but at the same time frustrated. Once he reached them he paused, holding his chest until he regained his breath. "Y-you are Yuurei Jet right?" Jet nodded, gesturing for him to continue. Instantly the boy perked up with new found energy. "Oh thank kami! I've been looking for forever. You are seriously one hard person to find onee-chan. But whoo! No that I found you I can finally have my free time. Helping out the MDO is so boring. Anyway here catch!" The boy tossed her the mission scroll before running off. Quickly scanning the mission details she smiled to herself. So once again she was going to give a lesson at the academy. How she was allowed since what happened the last time was beyond her but she was definitely happy. This time perhaps they could play Hide or Die. Maybe even Murder Time Fun Time. "Well its time to go and I can visit the family some other time. Missions must come first."

Rhino who already had fallen into her web smiled underneath his mask and waved her off as she left. But just as she faded into the distance his sense of self returned and he was out of the trance. That girl, a genin of all people, just played him. He took a step forward, intending to run after her but stopped. He could've been wrong but at the same time...god why did he meet that freaky kid anyway. Feeling ashamed Rhino returned back to his pity party among the dead.

Since Jet had been running at top speed it didn't take long for her to reach the meeting place. She was a bit winded but when she saw the outline of her favorite little teammate she regained some of her perkiness and pushed herself more before tackling Suteki from behind in a affectionate hug "Hewwo Sandy-chan. Did ya miss us?" Jet took this moment to waves to her sensei and the class who had begun preparing for the 'lesson' and Jet couldn't keep the bloodthirsty grin off her face which made some of the students go pale. Both in fear and recognizing her from that other torturous lesson a few months ago when she took over a class and taught them the 'truth' about life. God some still had nightmares about her gruesome 'storybook'. Jester began leaking some killing intent but it was gone as soon as it came. It was so controlled that only the children, the teacher, and Nanashi would sense it. This of course caused the teacher to stares at her but quickly shake his head, believing he just imagined it. Oh how wrong he was...but then Jet remembered that she wasn't supposed to maim...though Nanashi was here so if someone got injured he could fix them up and none would be the wiser.

Yuki lay in her bed comfortably. The chunin exams had been over for a few days now, and she always enjoyed her bed at home. she had sold some of her steel to a wandering blacksmith, that had come through iwa breifly after she had gotten here. she had used that money to buy the most comfortable bed she could find, and she had missed her bed ever since she went on the tiny vacation to takigakure. Now that she was back, she was taking every chance she had to escape and sleep on that bed. it's comfortableness was unrivaled. however, her sleep could not last forever...

THUMP THUMP THUMP

Yuki rose slowly, as the pounding awoke her. she shook her self awake as her hair poofed out in all directions. she yawned as she rubbed her eyes, throwing on a shirt at least as she realized that the person was knocking on her door. she didn't need to be answering any doors in her underwear. she didn't even attempt at her hair, as she walked down her hallway towards her doorway. as she opennned the door to see who could possibly waking her up, she adjusted herself to where her lower half was hidden behind the door, to hide the potential for the person to see her panties. the person at the door let out a huge sigh as she openned the door "Uhh finally your awake... uriko, yuki right? i still have to find one of your squad mates." Yuki nodded as her name was said, and he thrust a letter into the small space that was the open door, and then left with haste. she read over the contents of the letter, and gave a slight nod as she finished. AWESOME! she was going to meet squad 3 again, and hopefully see all of the squad, or see who had dropped. she hurried back into her room and grabbed her usual outfit, then went in and took a very very quick shower. After the shower she dried off quickly, but effectively, she hated when her clothes stuck to her from her skin still being wet. she left all of her ninja supplies in her room. she wouldn't need them. she had been practicing. Yuki quickly made herself breakfast, and then ate it, saving the dishes for later. then she rushed out of the door.

Yuki reached the meeting place in little to no time at all, but showing up last as her morning preparations had taken a bit longer than she had thought. once she arrived she kind of jogged over next to Jet and Suteki, yelling a "Hey guys!" as she did so. if either of them turned around, they would notice her bright red eyes with black pupil, much different from the first time they had met. it was noticeably different. as she got right up next to Jet, whom she chose to put in the middle of her and suteki, since her and suteki seemed to have a close relationship with one another, she said "Sooo... do you know what we are doing here?" she said as she surveyed the arena. it was a massive arena. as she was looking over it, she noticed nanashi, and someone else as well as several other young kids. the other kids brought up more questions for Yuki. Who were they? what were they doing here? why did they all have kunai? Yuki simply shrugged all of these questions off, she was sure that nanashi would tell them everything that they needed to know... she hoped.

Sato Kiatsu couldn't believe his former Academy teacher, Gaunyin Nanashi, had taken on another squad, this time a squad of three girls, and was beginning to teach them the shinobi arts. Having the chance to be groomed underneath the, generally, well liked medical-nin, Kiatsu had a better understanding of Nanashi's teaching process than others. He is ruthless, blunt, cold, unsympathetic, and manipulate. There isn't much he wouldn't do or say to get someone, especially those who he's teaching, to bend to his whims; in his eyes, everyone has a price, and you just got to be smart in figuring it out. Make it even more frustrating is many won't know that they got played till it already too late. Another thing he managed to pick up on 'bout the Jounin is, nothing he does is because he 'has' too, Nanashi allow things to occur for it usually benefits him in some shape and form. Even now, Kiatsu knew that the information he had gleamed off of Nanashi was only possible because the man ALLOW it for reasons unknown, but right now that's unimportant. What is important is why did Nanashi get another squad? What could he possibly gain from teaching them?

"Want to tell me why you got saddled with another squad?" Nanashi shrugged at the barely audible question, not giving a verbal answer, instead looking in the direction of where Suteki Yaku, his first student, had enter who soon was followed up by Yuurei Jet and Yuki.

"They all showed up. Amusing." he thought, remembering the brief conversation he had with them in Takigakure. He had given them an out; a chance to not be apart of his squad and instead find a different one that suited them. A get out of jail free card. And despite given them a chance for a better squad, they all made the decision to stay. Interesting. Was his words not clear before or did they believed that they were capable of dealing with whatever he throws at them? Nanashi didn't know the answer but he couldn't wait to find out.

"Jet, stop leaking out that killing intent." he ordered, having felt the sight pickling on the back of his neck, along with noticing how the children had gotten antsy for a moment. "Yaku, Jet, Yuki come here.", he nodded his head in approval of his students either do to them dressing properly or because of their punctual, no one would be for sure.

"Squad 3. We are about to play a game here with these lovely volunteers." he stated, looking at the academy students all armed with a simple kunai "The game is simple. These volunteers will attempt to maim or kill you through any means necessary. Your job is to show them the difference between an academy student and a genin. You are allowed to use any means necessary as long as isn't excessive, I'm talking to you Jet. Of course, if you are too weak, you can use your Kekkai Genkais to even up the playing field. You might lose some cool points with your fellow comrades, some might see you as the weaklings that you are, but who cares, right?" he stated. The last portion of his speach being means to moitvate his students to not rely on their special gifts, for they can easily be negated. The speach also meant to rile them up a little. . . angry is a fun emotion afterall.

"Just to clarify this is a battle; expect everything and assume nothing." Nanashi stated, him and the chuunin walking to non-populated area in the arena roughly 25 meters east of their current location "You can start now." no sooner did the words leave his mouth did the students broke off into groups of five, each one heading for a specific target. . .including Nanashi.

"Surrounding an enemy, eh? Nice tactic." he mused, looking around at the five students who all surrounded him with their kunai poise to strike "Now what?". The first attack came from behind, the brown haired female attempting to stab Nanashi in the back. The jounin easily side-stepped to the left, left hand crossing his body and slamming into the female's outstretched arm, knocking the kunai out of her grasp, at the same time his right hand gripped her hair, pulling it so harshly that she fell backwards, hitting the ground with enough force that caused her head to bounce up, sending her into unconscious. All of this happen within two seconds. . .

"Did you know most battles last only a few minutes at the most?" He inquired, ignoring the stun and scared looks of the other four students who just saw one of their classmates go down rather painfully "Battles are quick. One must be able to think on the fly. . ." he grabbed the offending arm of the black haired boy to his left, and performed a rear naked chock, using the attacker's own arm to encircling his neck, his trachea being pressed up against the crook of the elbow. Usually it took roughly ten seconds to choke someone out this way but due to the strength difference, it took three. "Reacting slow can lead to a quick death. . ." Nanashi stated, catching the kunai thrown at him and causing the charge boy to change course unless he wanted to be skewered by the kunai his comrade thrown. The gap between Nanashi the the boy closed quickly with Nanashi sending a knee to the boy's gut, causing him to double over in pain only to be knocked unconscious via Nanashi using his head as a spring board to dodge an attack from a female student.

The second to last student was knocked unconscious via grabbing the back of their head, making it kiss his rising knee.

"Do you want to surrender?" Nanashi asked, turning his attention to the last student who adamantly nodded his head "Wise Choice. "

The boy foolishly walked towards Nanashi with a lower guard only for the man to snatch his kunai and used the ring to knock him out "But a foolish one. . ."

Making sure all of opponents were alive and not suffering from anything life threatening, Nanashi looked towards the direction of his students to see how they were doing. . .

She watched on as the students spoke to each other, a few grabbing their kunai they were given and making stabbing motions, spinning them or trying to as one student's kunai dropped to the ground, inches from his foot.  A few she could hear talking about what was to happen, though barely audible from where she stood, she could easily figure out what was to come.  A battle, the genin squad versus a decent number of academy students.  They were outnumbered, but the students would be lacking three things compared to us, Yuurie Jet, Uriko Yuki and herself.  Well, at least for herself and Jet.  She didn't know that much about the new girl to the squad, Yuki.  What passed experiences, if any.  She could just as easily of have had been from the academy a short time prior to meeting in Takigakure.  Jet she knew for a while, and at least had combat experience.  And for herself, she had been through a few squads, battles, and the exams in her short career.  So at the very least herself and Jet would be capable of fighting well enough.  Squad three had experience, some jutsu outside of the basics learned during the academy, and completed training from the academy.  The students might as well of been thugs or thieves or raiders, perhaps just above that threat level since they had basic control of chakra.

She started to count the students, to get an exact number of combatants, she counted under her breath "Twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixt..."  Suddenly she was tackled from behind, bearing the weight trying to stay up as someone grabbed hold of her neck and jumped on top of the gourd.  She feel forward and to the side as she could see Jet swing around to her side, as both were on the ground.  Her voice echoed in the hall, "Hewwo Sandy-chan. Did ya miss us?"  She stopped trying to get up and just slumped over, letting the gourd hold her up as it tilted on the ground.  Their location easily given away, she responded with a slight smile, "So much so Jet.  So very much so."

The students looked there way, seeming quite frigidity as she pushed her way back onto her feet and took her gourd off, slamming it on the ground enough to make a echo.  From behind, she heard another voice, belonging to Yuki, their third member.  Everyone made it huh.  From behind, Nanashi yelled out than called them to come over.  She grabbed her gourd and put it back on, and fell just behind Yuki and Jet as they headed towards the group.  Yuki asked if they knew what was happening, and she responded softly but enough for both of them to hear, "Defensive training it would seem."  It was probably said loud enough for even the students to hear.

Nanash quickly broke in just after she spoke and they came to a stop nearby.  The game at hand was just as she said, though much more colorfully spoken.  The academy students were to come at the three, or four of them with a strong intent of beating them.  They would in turn beat the students back in a form of giving the academy students a form of lesson on what it would be like out in the field once they were genin.  A harsh lesson through physical pain, it was gloriously cruel in her mind.  Nanashi insulted, from what she surmised as mostly aimed at her, about not using Kekkai Genkais.  She still had very little control or rather, jutsu involving her sand, but his insult about how others would view her upset the young girl.  The students talked amongst each other, both speaking about Jet and herself.  It seemed Jet had also gone to the academy and taught the students, leaving a mark on them.  Suteki had also gone to the academy, putting on a mock battle against an older, larger, and fearsome looking man.  In the end, she had won the battle, leaving the man bloodied and unconscious.  She kind of cheated in a way, but a valuable lesson was imparted.  Perhaps the students here would have learned it as well.

Nanashi started to walk away along with the student's teacher.  Suteki reached back and uncorked her gourd and sand started to flow out of it.  Several of the students stepped back from all three of them as more and more sand encircled all three of them, most of it around the girl.  "F$%k him!  Anything goes!", she said loud enough for Nanashi and the teacher to hear, some anger hinted within.  Than Nanashi stopped and looked back, "You can start now."  Several of the students broke off into groups of 5, one group going for Nanashi.  The others seemed hesitant to attack the three girls at first.  Suteki looked over as they encircled Nanashi, and watched as the first attack was made, a girl screaming loudly, echoing through the empty stadium.  The academy students ahead of the three girls might have flinched at that sound, some looking back to see what was happening, and others pulling the kunais out and ready to attack.

Suteki stood her ground, not making an aggressive move, just allowing her sand to make them second think of a tactic allowing plenty of openings to occur for her two comrades.  She would rather avoid entering combat if possible.  "Have fun you two.", she said to Jet and Yuki.

Jet giggled happily nodded at the two girls before her smile faded into nothingness as if it hadn't exist; her face void of emotion that if someone didn't no better they would think she never had any to begin with. Though she was happy to see them all that she really wanted to get this over and done with, not being in the mood to linger (though perhaps a light spar such as this would to her some good she figured). While she did enjoy her time with them, she didn't feel especially social lately, not after what happened in Taki. It was what happened on her last day actually, just a couple hours before she was going to head out.

All good things must come to an end for there is no eternal peace but countless suffering. She was reminded of it that day. Life was no easy task for the young shinobi but when was it? Life was all about give and take only it all too often took more than it had given. And in this, we carelessly run in a circle of hate pursing nirvana, a place of which hold no real corporal presence but rather a high of bliss, a heartfelt flame unwavering in all its plight before it is saddened snuffed out and the land is basked in darkness. Pain was a constant in life and death. Pleasure was unpredictable and wild, here one moment and gone the next without evidence it was even there. Everyone had to learn this undeniable truth lest they be killed bore their efforts bore fruit, regardless of how poisonous they'd be. Jester, like countless others who roam this rock, had to bear witness to the testimony of this sooner rather than later. Ah how fate was a precarious thing. It simply enjoyed having the odds against her, to watch her scratch and crawl her way to survival. The memories of her past life were forever etched into her soul where the scars are deeper than she knows herself. She always kept majority of her true self under lock and key, not wanting to remember what she became but it was hard, especially since she wasn't the most stable person around.

However regardless how hard she would run the past would always be tied to her. She didn't know when he appeared or how long he had been monitoring her; only that he was doing so for awhile. But it wasn't a surprise. She joined a ninja village so what? It didn't mean she was safe. She never was; he made sure to remind her of that. He could slip in and out whenever he wanted to. He didn't fear anyone, no matter who or rather what they were. It was not quiet cocky, but rather he was confident in his abilities which he had every right. So he wasn't going to let a measly village keep him away from his pet. She may have worn their emblem but she will never be one of them. If anything they were only allowed the pleasure of having her, even if they didn't know it he'd reason. He left her there simply because he could. He knew her better than anyone; of course that was a given when he made her to what she is now.

His memory, oh to remember what horrors she lived through was traumatizing indeed. Scars...so many scars. Seeing him, starting into those dreadful soulless eyes as he watched her from afar in the crowd. She wanted to run from it all again; farther than she ever had, even the thought of running to another confident seemed appealing to her, anything to get away from that monster. The voices in her head screamed at her, the danger evident.

Jet this time barely noticed her eyes were rapidly shifting colors as if a rainbow exploded while slight killing leaked from her, though due to it being a very light dose only though in 2m radius of her would feel the tingling along the back of their necks. Her mind seemed to shut down as she left the voices guide her as they whisper atrocities into her ears. Stepping back she slammed the heel of her left foot on the genin sneaking up behind her then as the girl leans forward Jet takes her kunai before tossing the child into the boy charging forward not long after her. Once the pair crash she quickly parried a blow from another boy on her right while she roundhouse kicked his friend from the left to the jaw. Blood spurt out of his mouth as he blinked furiously to keep the tears out of his eyes but soon enough it would all be over. She ducked down as a girl taller than Jet attempted to launch an aerial kick towards her but Jet had enough time to dodge last minute while simultaneously grabbing her ankle to sweep her opponent on the right. Yet as the two hit the ground with a thud the ominous aura dissipated as her eyes widen, a mix of red with flecks of green. She stood there, quietly starting at them as if the boy whom she made cut his tongue earlier wasn't going to have a go at her with his kunai.

The distraction wasn't too big to keep her from dodging however she did get a cut no matter how superficial. She shuddered involuntarily, giggling loudly as she craned her neck to get a better view of him. The sight of her alone caused a billion bolts to crawl down his spine, her laughter barely contained. "Ehe...ehehehhehehe.....hehe....why...w-why are yoooooou n....n-not playing fair? M.....M.......M-must play fair!" Jester growled and while the boy wish to run he was overcome by fighting spirit, optioning to go out knowing he took down the Circus Freak.

Silence cut through the air,  she began to hum as she used the kunai in her spare hand to bat away at his own weapon. In the next moment he tempted to side kick her stomach but as soon as it connected grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and headbutted him as hard as she could. Disorientated they both stumble back however Jester regained some composure due to the events transpiring and used this advantage to hold the kunai to his neck dangerously close, drawing a thin line of plot. Her voice sounded sweet but promised to be just as vicunas to whoever crossed her. Her eyes screaming at her opponent, daring him to do something or else she break every damn bone she could find or at least cause some issues in his motor muscles. "Drop your weapons and surrender you 5 or else I will slit his fucking throat before I move on to each of you or-" She paused, grinning deviously as she licked some blood that dripped from his neck; letting the threat roam in the air before anyone could claim on it. The boy broke out into a sweat and was freeing for his well being. He knew she would do it and not give a damn regardless of the consequences.

His blonde friend however didn't know understand at all and stepped forever holding his briused arm from when his red headed friend was crashed into him. "C'mon guys she bluffing. She can't seriously hurt us or anything because she is a gen-" He was cut off as the group gasped in hours. To them they just heard a pained stream erupt from their captured friends mouth and now he was on the ground with a red line across his neck....dead. Jet giggled cutely and twirled the bloody kunai in her hand. Their reactions were so...tantalizing. She was of course bluffing but then again she wasn't. The only real thing was that she couldn't seriously harm or maim but....she came up with the neck best thing. By pinching pressure points from behind she made him passed out as she gently scratched his throat with the kunai so it seemed it was professionally slit whereas it really was scrapped. She ensured that their spirits were broken and god that felt good. Heck she didn't even care about the fucking mission, simply what fun she was having right now.

Yet...all good things must come to an end. The two girls had fainted, one was bawling his eyes out, another was cursing her and swearing vengeance and the last one Blondie...just started quietly in shock. She sucked in a breath and breathed slowly.....yes....she did go too far. She controlled her killing intent and release it on the children as she slowly walked toward them. Jet couldn't help the small smile as she watched the boy stand guard in front of the girls, shakily holding their kunai in defense. Then once she was right in their faces she placed her hand behind her back and instantly the boys cried out "Stop!" Jester paused as she raised an eye when she took out a handkerchief. Despite the tears in their eyes they were befuddled and forgotten all their plights just for one more moment. "What...."

Jet shrugged and handed it to the two girls. Cautiously, the red head went to take it when the brunette smacked her head away as he glared at Jet. "What the hell are you fucking getting at you bitch?! First you kill my best friend and now you want to fucking apologize! Are you serious! I should goddamn ki"

Jet rolled her eyes and smack him in the face. "Stop being a big meanie, you're scarring the guppies. We didn't kill anyone just put him to sleep! He was tired and we were tired and just want to go home!" Jet sniffled slightly as the group was once again caught off guard.

After what they just witnessed they could fathom that she...she of all people could express remorse. But that was quickly replaced by anger. "What the hell? Stop lying to us-"

The brunette's friend whom Jet recognized astonishingly from her last visit, Thomas?, placed his hand on his shoulder. His face was twisted in confusion but yet he could see that thing were not all they appeared to be. "Wait Nori, I think she may be telling the truth. Yes she is crazy and all but if she really did slit Suzu's throat there would be a lot more blood. Just...just go and check his pulse....please"

Nori who was finally named felt a lump in his throat "But..." however Thomas gave him a look and with one final huff he nodded and made his was over to the 'dead' Suzu, purposely slamming his shoulder into Jet's as he did. He glared at Thomas one last time before bending down to pick up his friend's wrist. A couple minutes later his eyes widen as he recogized a pulse, strong but slow as if he was sleeping. "He's....he's alive...He's alive!" Instantly the girls stopped crying and ran to check on Suzu while Thomas lifted up Blondie onto his shoulders to take him to the stands to rest. Seeing as how her mission was completed, Jet opted to leave, leaving a scribbled note where she previously was...

Yuki listened Carefully to Nanashi Sensei's instructions. Great so they were going to battling Acadamy student's to prove the difference between the two... there was only one problem with that. Yuki was fresh out of the Acadamy herself. she was probably weaker than some of the kids here that he was suppose to fight. she would definitely need to use her Blood given traits to even some of this out. She let out a small sigh. Would this really make her seem weak to her comrades, but Yuki WAS weak was the problem, and she knew it too. Oh well. this was her mission given by her Sensei, and she would need to do her best on it. Even if she was gonna get pummeled by a bunch of academy students, even though she highly doubted that they would show her mercy. Nanashi even said that they were gonna try and kill her. Yuki's Emotion drained from her face. her face took on a Serious tone. She was not going down here. There was no way in hell she was gonna die. The red was pushed out of Yuki's Eyes as a shield form on her Right arm. her eyes were now black with a purple pupil. Some of the Academy students took note of this and then paired up into their group of five to after the girl with Doujutsu, even though her eyes were no such thing, but there was really nothing she could do about what they thought. Nor did she care. She was going to end them. Rage started to swell up inside of her as she prepared for the fight to begin. Then Nanashi gave the word, and she split off immediately from Suteki and Jet determained to prove her strength. The group that had selected to come after her headed towards her and she noticed their speed immediately, under her breathe she mutter "Damn" just as she had feared. They were faster than her.  two split away from the main group to flank her, but she began to form hand seals, and the ground beneath the three still heading for her's feet turned to mud, and the slipped and were dragged away as she jumped into the air and spun, trowing her shield towards the two that had split off, they had to separate to dodge it, then she formed six Steel needles in her hands, and threw three of them, at those still face down in the mud, hitting a pressure point in each of their necks, making them pass out instantly. then she turned and faced the two remaining. How would she get past them? well regaurless they were running around either side of them, and she had 3 needles left, and no jutsu left to help her. She would need to pull off something Amazing in order to beat those two. just then, the were to the left and right of her, and slid to a stop, both of them throwing their Kunai at her, and then running after the kunai. it was then she knew how she could beat them. She jumped straight up and spun, throwing two of her Senbon at the kunai, then putting hte other in her mouth side-was so it wouldn't go down her throat. Then she activated her chakra strings while she was still spinning. The two kunai had hit the ground right where she had jumped. she channeled the strings through the wholes of the kunai and with her. Then she let the strings spin with her, and as such so did the kunai, and the speed at which then they lerched forwards like they had been shot out of a slingshot, and Yuki used the Puppetry string that she had been taught in that very academy to hit them both right in that same Pressure point. They Both also passed out right at her feet. That was five. Yuki looked around to See Nana having five finished already and Jet battling pretty intensely, but then she saw one standing in front of her, with a Kunai held in her hands. She looked so nervous, and shy. Yuki was almost about to let out an Awe, but then the girl but up just enough courage to come running after her while screaming. That was something she would need to get control over if she ever wanted to be a shinobi. Yuki did a back hand spring plus a back flip to land right next to her shield, but the girl was gaining on her so she had to hurry. Yuki picked up her shield, and ran at the girl. The girl saw Yuki running at her with that cold look in her eyes, and panicked. Something a Shinobi shouldn't do, she thrust her Kunai forwards a tad before she should have, Yuki batted away her weapon and then Twisted her own arm so the face of the shield was turned towards the poor girls face, and then as hard as she could she brought the shield into the small girl's face as hard as she could. the girl flung backwards her nose smashed, and blood being sent everywhere. Guilt settled over to Yuki, as her shield dissipated into nothing but Steel sand. Yuki slid into place next to the young girl repeatedly apologizing to her, as she hovered both of her hands over her face, and a purple aura came over her face, as Yuki's Chakra slowly began reconstruct the girls face whom she had messed up pretty badly.

Nanashi didn't care much for outbursts from his students. it's expected for genins to have some identity issue whiling climbing up the ranks. They all have something to prove to not only themselves, but also their superiors who sees them, at worst, nothing more than a waste of space, and at best, valuable canon fodder; the latter, more times or not, being the grim reality for many of them. And no genin worth their salt want to be seen as a simple meat shield. They want their existence to be validated, not wanting to be seen as disposable tool, and many, as seen with Suteki Yaku, are willing to act out in a disrespecting manner to do so.

"And I know that feeling well.", Nanashi mused to himself, watching his students take on the remaining academy students. A smirk flashed across his face as he noted how Yaku shrugged off his taunt, and decided to user her Kekkai Genkai. "Excellent.", he thought, mentally nodding in approval of the Sabaku's and the rest of his team choice of actions. While he did tell them not to use their respective Kekkai Genkai, he didn't specifically say that they couldn't either. It was merely a suggestion in an around about way.

"They aren't obedient dogs after all.", he chuckled to himself, watching as both Jet and Yuki dismantled the students.

"Seems like we have a bloodthirsty one." Sato stated, receiving a nod of acknowledgment from the Guanyin member who also noticed Jet's little quirk.

"Not really that surprising. Nowadays, the average age for a genin is between 13 - 17. While this is significant lower than past eras. It does nothing to stop various the development of psychological problems from occurring. You have seen it. Majority of shinobi past the rank of genin have some type of mental dysfunction. With a few having such problems way before entering into the academy.  And due to how controllable these facets are, they are allowed to continue functioning as a defender of the village. It's only in this occupation that sees a psychopathic murder as an employee and not someone who should be locked up. Isn't that right, Sato?", the man in question flinched at the jab, causing a slow, rumbling chuckle to roll out of Nanashi's throat "But unlike most occupation most, if not all, of the higher ranking shinobi have some experience in dealing people like us. Or at least they think they do." he nonchalantly stated and shrugging his shoulders.

"Seems like they are done." he spoke, sparing only a glance at the miserable state of the academy students, as he made his way to his students location. Nanashi didn't bother in treating their wounds for they weren't life threatening, therefore, they weren't in any danger of dying.

He glanced at the contents of the note left by Jet, nodding in understanding, and place it in his pocket before addressing his two students "For a pair of genins. You wasn't as terrible as I thought you would be. I'm glad to see none of you actually listen to my suggestion of not using your Kekkai Genkai. It shows that I'm not working with obedient dogs who will follow their master's orders without question. Which is a good thing. For I can't stand dealing with drones. " He stated, giving them praise for their actions.

"However, Yaku, while I don't care about swearing, please refrain from doing around. . .They might lash out." the words being directed to the Sabaku member "Anyway, seeing how Jet ruined my plans for a team training. We will have to put that on hold for sometime. Until that time comes, we will be having one on one sessions. Where I help you with anything shinobi related including but not limited to; sparring sessions, jutsu creation and theories, medical procedures, going on missions, etc. Sounds good? " it was a rhetorical question that didn't need an answer to "You can leave, if there isn't any questions. " He stated.

If no questions were asked, Nanashi would use the body flicker to exit the area.

Suteki Yaku

Suteki Yaku

D-rank
The young lass managed to avoid combat entirely thanks to her two allies.  She watched as her compatriots attacked the academy students with force, especially Jet.  Jet had a great hold on the situation, ripping those that choose to deal with her quickly regretting it.  She watched her other ally, the least known one, Yuki.  Her kekkei genkai was something of great interest to Suteki, having some qualities as her sand, but meant more for close combat, very much unlike hers.  A great deal of the sand that came out of the gourd shimmered along the ground near her allies, especially Yuki.  If Jet or Yuki needed a quick defense for some reason, she would help them.

Her gaze left the two for a moment, looking over at her sensei finishing off those that followed after him, easily dispatching them with what seemed to be very little effort.  He stuck to a taijutsu style of attack, having hoped he might use some ninjutsu or another skill type she hadn't known about.  Though he wouldn't deliver.

She looked back at her other comrades, Jet scarring the students with threats.  She had a kunai to the throat of one, telling the others to give up, pressing harder if they made movements.  For a moment she thought of using a genjutsu to help her along, but seeing their faces, they were already in enough fear.  She had the fight over with unless one of them hadn't liked the boy enough to give up.  So that left Yuki.  She had paralyzed her batch, watching as the kunai twisted in odd manners to get the job done.  She recognized the academy jutsu, "I will have to try that method one day.", she said under her breath.  In the background, she could hear screaming and yelling from several of the students dealing with Jet, she had them in the palm of her hand for the most part.  So her attention stayed on the newcomer.

From what Suteki saw, Yuki had skills in ninjutsu, earth at least, and then the ability to form objects from nothingness for the most part.  She hadn't used it much, but perhaps having some skill in a form of Bukijutsu?  In any way, she was dealing with her last rival, running for her shield and turning towards the girl that was rushing for her.  She bashed the girls face with the shield after deflecting the kunai attack.  The girl bleeding, dropped the kunai quick, holding her nose while on the ground.  Yuki quickly went to the girl and saw a much more interested skill that she hadn't expected.  Medical Ninjutsu, the girl was a practitioner in such a rare trait.  Well, she would be an asset to the team easily.  Jet and Yuki had traits in relation to their sensei.  Nanish was skilled in close combat for Jet, and medical ninjutsu, as she learned earlier, for Yuki.

After a few moments passed, Yuki healing the girl and she watching closely, Nanishi headed over to them.  She heard him speak and looked over, listening.  He complemented them on a good job, and was actually happy they hadn't listened to him about the kekkei genkai use.  She was still unsure about Nanashi, but he seemed to have ulterior motives about everything he did.  Perhaps she shouldn't take everything he says so seriously. He started to tell her that she shouldn't swear, as it might bring about...something.  What the something was was lost upon her.  Than he said something about Jet ruining his plans.  She looked around to see where she was but she managed to slip out on the party after beating her opponents.  The students she was facing caring for each other and huddled in the stands now.   He than offered an opportunity for one on one training with each of them, to be held at some point or another.  She still wasn't sure what Nanish had to offer her.  Missions and such being an obvious, but for jutsus and such.  Perhaps he was skilled in genjutsu, or at least ninjutsu, hopefully having some elements in common with her would be great.  Either way, she would eventually take his offer, perhaps instead using it to try and get used to him, and figure him out.

Suteki nodded in agreement, smiling," That would be welcoming.", she answered to his question, than looked over to Yuki, seeing if she had anything to say or ask.  She waited for a moment than followed after/wanted to speak to Yuki about the fight, their first meeting, and other general things.  Their was plenty of time left in the day and nothing else left to do.  Some bonding would have been a nice repair, instead of only getting to know each other during missions.
