Morning

Harichimo awoke to a normal morning at the clinic. The windows of his room slightly frosted from the morning air but it was still warm inside for everyone. He kicked himself out of bed to the water basin in order to wake himself up. As the water splashed over his face he looked in the mirror and turned to see the scar from the training accident healing nicely. It was good so his parents didn't have to know and become worried for him. He knew what he was doing and felt he could take good care of himself.

He threw on his coat and walked to the drop box outside of his room to see what he had today. He looked over his lists and saw a small scroll with the Tsuchikage's seal on it. Why didn't I get this yesterday after I had my chores done? He thought. Harichimo unrolled the scroll and wondered what Akira could want. A solo training session with the sensei at the Coliseum. Maybe he thinks I need a few pointers from what he saw at the last sessions. Well better get ready and start over there.

Harichimo made himself a fast breakfast of meat and eggs so he could be good to go. He tied his hair back and wrapped his arms in bandages. He packed another roll in his coat pocket and made his way out. He waved to his younger siblings who were up earlier than he was and were playing by the pond in the clinic center. His mother and father both busy with their own tasks today. He would hopefully make his way there and be on time with Akira or earlier if he got lucky.

Present

Harichimo arrived a little before noon when Akira told him to be there. He marveled at the sight of the Coliseum since he had never been inside or near it until now. But when your sensei is the Tsuchikage you get to go places where other normally wouldn't.

He walked through the front tunnels and made his way into a large area Akira had set aside with rocks and training dummies. But no sign of him yet. Well better get ready since he will be here shortly after. Harichimo took off his jacket and sat his back against the wall near where he came through and meditated to pass the time until Akira would show up.

Akira had of course selected all of his students to learn his fighting styles but only two of them had shown any real initiative as of late. Yomi was as eager as ever to increase her potency so it was no surprise he had begun to teach her first. She was always the most eager to jump into a fight so training her first was probably the wisest action for her own health anyways. Kurai on the other hand seemed to have less and less interest in the activities of a shinobi and had drifted away into the mood of a struggling artist it would seem. He was always a quiet individual and if anything combat didn't seem to openly suit him unless he was actually fired up about something. However Harichimo was a new puzzle for Akira. The boy was obviously brave if not a little to forward. The team match had proven a little about Harichimo's character to him but not much. If anything he could simply tell the boy lacked experience. He had all the balls of a warrior and the intelligence of a medic but due to his lack of experience he doubted the boy was on par just yet with the other students.

However Harichimo was the subject of today's training. With a Smile Akira watched as the boy entered the coliseum from his spot high up in the stands. He was concealed in the shadows as he hid his presence from the young man but still he was just observing him. Akira was wearing his Karate gi again But this time he was also wearing some more traditional robes over it. A thick black robe to fight off the mountain cold air. The silver trim was just for added flare as he always preferred to look good. Still even with the thick rob the mountain air still had some bite too it. He missed the summer already but it wasn't enough to cause him to shiver. That aside he would be fairly active soon enough. Still as Harichimo began to meditate Akira walked silently down the stands before hopping over the railing. He let the sound of his feet hitting the ground echo out a bit as he walked forward. Pulling his cloak tighter her smiled and nodded to Harichimo before stopping about a meter away. It was then that he spoke up with his voice as soft as flower petals once more. Though his yellow eyes were as harsh as a hunting wolf. His very being seemed to contradict himself.

"Good, you made it. I am rather pleased that you could manage to attend the training today. Before we get started on some more advanced things however, I wanted to ask you some questions. How long have you been out of the academy Harichimo? Last lesson you demonstrated bravery and intelligence as well as following what few orders were given, however tactically you misstepped when you took on a challenge outside of your abilities. Had that been a real session with life and death on the line do you think things could of turned out differently for you?"

Harichimo heard the echoing thud from across the way and smiled a bit. It has to be good if Akira got here first. He opened his eyes and rested his hands on his knees as Akira approached not saying a word. He stayed quiet and watched since he seeemed to be clearly underdresseduntil Akira finally got close enough to speak. When Akira finally did ask his question Harichimo actually had to think for a second.

" Well sensei I was only out of the academy for a month or so until I got the message saying I was to be apart of squad one. I had very little experience, but there is no better way to swim then to be tossed into the deep end of the pond. I can take orders and follow directions. But yeah the only fighting experience I have is from training sessions with my father who is just a simple handyman. He and the academy could only teach me so much before I have to call my own shots and as you can see that isn't always the best. As for life and death of the matter, yeah it could have been a lot different if I had not caught my breath and composure when I was falling it could have been much worse. But I didn't because I knew you made the session to test us and thought we had all the possibility in the world to complete the task and I would hate to disappoint the most respected man in the whole village."

Harichimo got up and rolled his shoulders and stretched his arms. He tugged at the ends of his bandages to make sure they were tight and clenched his fists. He looked back to his superior with a small grin.

"Anything more we need to discuss? Or is there more to this get together since we are at the Coliseum after all. "

Akira listened to the boys response with a growing smile stretching across his features. So the boy had barely been out of the academy before becoming a part of the most rigorous taijutsu squad in the world. Some would say Akira was pushing the young man too hard and expecting too much from him. However Akira didn't do half measures. His whole life was full throttle non stop dedication to whatever he dedicated himself too. His rise to power and what he did afterwards had been described as both upfront and dangerously close to monstrous. He had adopted Kiri's views on criminals and proceeded to wipe them out with out mercy or remorse. Murderers, slavers, drug runners and rapists either died or fled from his crusade against them. When he raised his fist the country trembled one way or another. That was part of why they had question him taking time to instruct genin. With the kind of power he possessed they had grown worried that his full throttle tactics would endanger the genin and possibly lead to a death or two. However Akira had also developed a passion for teaching others. Regardless of the concerns to him teaching the youth he proceeded anyway. While the counselors kept eyes on him in worry over if he lost control or not he really didn't understand their lack of faith or why they had chosen not to trust him. Either way he had proven not to lose any level of control yet.

Still his training sessions bent the levels of reason to nearly the breaking point. The common citizens that heard of what he put his students through thought it impossible. However his students were growing all the same. None of them had taken injuries he couldn't fix. Yet each of them had bled in their search for power. As the boy tightened his bandages it warranted a glance of those golden eyes. Akira smirked before casually he took several slow steps over to one of the stone pillars. He spoke as he placed his right hand palm to the stone with fingers stretched. His voice was soft but those golden eyes seemed to suck anyone looking into them into his words. As if he was not to be ignored. "Still you did well. You got injured yes, but my training is not for the feint of heart. Only those with a strong will and a stronger backbone can rise to the occasion when I demand it. However as I see it you are still chained to the comfort of the academy. I will teach you ways to unleash yourself in powerful ways. For instance take this stone here. It is harder then your hand. You could strike at it all day and all you would manage is to shatter the bones in your arms. However chakra is like a river within you. You allow your body to contain that water. I will teach you different ways to unleash it an do astounding things beyond your own capabilities. Observe." Akira did not flex or struggle in any way. However his right arm lit up with a golden flare of chakra. The Chakra seemed to flow in and out of his arm. He watched Harichimo as suddenly the golden chakra focused into his palm like a snapped rubber band. As it hit the rock the point of impact cracked with a loud bang. The rock itself cratering away from his palm. A nice head sized dent put into it. "This is a technique known as Iron body style, Rage. Simply unleash the flow of chakra from a specific point and you can do extrodinary amounts of damage. You try it now. Against one of the training dummies."

Harichimo was glad that Akira listened to all of his rambling. And when it was Akira's turn to talk Harichimo had stayed quiet and thought over everything he said. Yeah it's tough and you have some high expectations but you wouldn't have picked me and Yomi if you didn't think it was possible for us to pass this training. He watched as Akira went over to the stone pillar to perform the new technique he was talking about. Akira's hand were glowing gold and with almost no strain at all create a big hole in the side of the rock pillar. Harichimo had never seen or heard of anything of this sort. It was exactly what he needed to learn in order to become a better taijutsu user. The link he needed to eventually move to mixing his medical jutsus with his strikes.

And then it was Harichimo's turn to try his hand at the new technique. He approached the nearest training dummy. He looked down to his hand and tried to focus his chakra into his palm. He had to focus it into a pool and try to keep it solid. His hand was now covered in a layer of purple chakra. He felt it ebbing and pulsing trying to find a release which was a totally new experience but he had it under control. Now he had to follow through like Akira had done. He lined up a palm thrust to the dummy's chest and brought his hand back. He released the strike at the chest of the dummy arming the chakra and pulling it back into his  forearm and then when his palm struck the target, he let the wave of chakra go through his forearm and out of his palm and a small pop was heard.

Harichimo lifted his hand from the dummy and revealed a hole about the size of his palm. Not quite the damage Akira had done but not bad for a first attempt. But that wasn't going to cut it for Harichimo. Akira had made a hole the size of his head in a solid stone pillar while he only made an indent in a training dummy. "Let me try once more sensei." Instead Harichimo made a fist to line up with the chin of the dummy. He stared intently at the knuckles making contact with the dummy and focused again bringing the purple chakra back to his fist. He made the chakra swell up in his fist and brought it all into his wrist, not as far back as last time. He brought back his arm and twisted his body to try and get the most out of the punch. He then unleashed the uppercut watching for when his knuckles made first contact with the dummy and let the gathered chakra go through his knuckles. A small bang was heard and the dummy's face had been knocked off by the blast of chakra.

Harichimo looked in shock that he had done it. His palm had been to big of an area for him to push the chakra through but his knuckles were small enough of a focus point he could jet the chrak through with force. He gave a small smirk now that he had figured out a fraction of what Akira had to teach him. " So how was that for an attempt sensei?"

Akira listened to the boy speak with confidence and smiled. It was good to see his students flourishing instead of feeling defeated. He didn't like bullying good people into submission. As it was so far his students had all been top of the notch good people as well as being good fighters. He wanted to see them succeed so he pushed them. It wasn't in his nature to roll over and play kitten though. His demands of them had been harsh enough that many of his advisers had taken to asking him to stop teaching. They worried that his tactics would be considered too brutal and his popularity with his village would plummet. And yet even with their constant worrying and scheming he was still dragging up Iwa from the depths of poverty into a truly rich nation. He had trade agreements with half the other countries and a powerful police force for domestic issues. On top of that he had raised the education level of Iwa as well. In truth the country was a rising star of pure power with him at the helm. He had a tendency to lose sight of being humble when he thought of it that way. Teaching allowed him to check himself before he turned into one of those egotistical ass holes driven by greed he targeted so often for their treachery.

Still his thoughts were broken by a small popping noise. He looked to where his student Harichimo had managed to do some damage to the doll. Enough to leave some bruising and probably knock the air out of them but below what he had demonstrated. With a quick observation he noted the chakra wasn't focused enough. It had the brute force but it was lacking the proper focus needed to do the highest level of damage. Upon contact all that chakra had flooded out and dispersed over a wider area. It was a simple enough concept. On a marble floor an elephant can walk alone without leaving a mark because it's weight is distributed evenly over a large surface. However if something just as heavy were to be focused onto one point it would punch holes through the marble. Still Akira nodded as the boy wanted to try again. His Yellow eyes seemed to watch Harichimo intently. He would need to pay attention if he were to learn what he needed in order for his student to perfect the art. It was his responsibility as an instructor to offer at least that much.

Still Akira hadn't expected someone so fresh to make such progress so quickly. Sure it was a low level technique that he expected them to learn but his eyes still widened at the focus of chakra around the hand only up to the wrist. The purple aura flickering like dark flames. This boy had more promise then most genin. That level of chakra control was rare in someone so fresh to the battlefield. That level of chakra control would get him to incredible heights if he just focused on it. Learning techniques so quickly would make him a stupendously dangerous foe. Akira had expected to train only one technique with him for the day but as there was a bang and the face blasted off the training Dummy Akira noted the full damage of the technique in that blow. The boy was already done with it and now could practice it on his own when he wished. Still Akira smiled happily with his yellow eyes glinting before he cleared his throat and spoke.

"That was very good indeed Harichimo. Continue practicing that when you can in private and you will master it in no time. As you can tell its functionality and flexibility makes that technique highly dangerous. With it you merely have to tap your opponent to crack bones and tear muscle. But you can not rely entirely on offense. You were struck before in the last match. The next move I will teach you is called Iron body style, Guard. It follows along the same concept but with it you focus a paper thin layer of chakra over your skin. Once you have it you infuse it into your skin making it like your very flesh is armor. Feel free to hit me with any jutsu you wish. I will not even move to block or dodge you. Feel free to aim at my face if you wish. This technique will guard without you having to even consider blocking. Throw a Kunai at my chest if you like. It will block it." With that Akira smiled before placing his hands folded over his stomach and stood there looking very comfortable. However even as he just stood there his skin began to flow out like thin golden wisps before his skin seemed to almost glow golden. As if he were a golden statue. He stood there smiling and waiting for Harichimo to do as told.

Harichimo kept his smile knowing he had shown that he knows a thing or two about chakra control and being able to work out difficult puzzles. But when Akira began to speak of the next lesson, a jutsu that could create a thin armor of sorts Harichimo absorbed the idea of this magnificent new jutsu. A way a taijutsu user could now defend against ninjutsus and low level weapon strikes. It would be to good to be true if his sensei wasn't the Tsuchikage. The mere thought created a whole new sense in Harichimo How far could this really go if he as already perfected techniques this powerful what else could he have in store? he thought to himself.

Akira worded him on to use a jutsu and throw weapons at him. Either he is a good bluffer or just wants to see if he can really make his own students throw stuff at him. Then his sensei began to glow and was covered in a sheet of the same golden chakra. He really did have to see it to believe it that the Tsuchikage wasn't totally crazy. But it perplexed him at how this thin sheet was to protect him from many attacks but now that he believe all he could do was follow.

"All right sensei here is a senbon coming right for your chest." He thought it polite to atleast say in case this required any sort of focus to the point of impact. Harichimo took a senbon out from his bag and aimed it right dead center of Akira's chest and let it fly as hard as he could to see how this new technique worked.

Akira waited patiently as he watched Harichimo ponder his words. The boy had a very intuitive mind but he seemed to lack any sense of authority. It wasn't that he lacked power but somehow his form lacked conviction. Akira had high hopes the young man would come to gain some level of confidence through learning these techniques but it would be up to him entirely to develop an aura of a warrior. If that was even his goal. Some medics were more humble then not. Still, training under Akira was going to bring out that aura one way or another. The level he dragged them through was beyond that of a commoner. It was brutal and unrelenting. Students got injured and even bled. Yet some how they grew at astounding rates. He wanted this for Harichimo. He wanted to see the young man become a master within his own rights. A power to be cautioned against. People like Nanashi and Akira had a way of walking and still letting their enemies know they were too dangerous to face. His yellow eyes watched Harichimo as his head tilted up slightly to look down his nose at Harichimo with a smile. As if studying something that peaked his interest to all new levels.

It was then that Harichimo announced his intentions. A senbon to the chest? Well he was certainly being polite. A normal senbon wouldn't even scratch Akira jutsu or no. Either way it was suitable to demonstrate the jutsu at hand. He kept his chakra focused an controlled his breathing. It was still exciting somehow. He knew his skin was trained like steel and even if the jutsu somehow failed which his never did then it would simply bounce off of him. Yet there was still the thrill of putting yourself in the line of fire. Of getting to show your abilities to another. It was all he could do not to go above and beyond his stance to simply stand there. Still he waited as he watched his student hurl the senbon. He didn't move as it sailed true, however slow it appeared in his gaze. As soon as it tapped his skin though it sparked as if metal hit metal and with a twing noise the senbon ricocheted off and went spinning into the air before landing embedded into the ground. To this Akira smirked. Before he spoke once more.

"Focus your chakra outwards. You will find it is difficult to move beyond yourself. This is the point where you must hold it. Just on the edge of your skin you hold the chakra there. Like flexing you muscles you simply flex your chakra and it creates a guard. This will block anything within reason be it weapon, fist or even some smaller jutsu. The palm of your hand becomes a shield against a fireball. Your fingers become capable of blocking swords. This makes your body as unto steel. You try it now. I will shove your shoulder with one finger. You simply concentrate on preventing my finger from damaging you." With that Akira smiled and slowly began to walk towards Harichimo. His foot steps seemed to quietly echo the stands as if his steps were as unto a hammer strike on an anvil. He wasn't using one finger to insult Harichimo. No, instead he was doing so to prevent breaking bones. He knew the distance between them stretched a great deal. He would be careful not to harm the boy to badly. Still he didn't wait long. As soon as he was right next to him without asking Akira raised his right hand. Pointing only his index finger he suddenly shoved it forward. If Harichimo used the jutsu he would feel nothing. If he did not his right shoulder was about to develop a bruise.

Harichinmo watched as his tool had flown right at the center of his sense's chest and deflect as if it had hit a plate of steel. It merely spun off to land in the ground near him and Harichimo was ecstatic. It was true a paper thin suit of armor made from visible chakra. Able to withstand weapons and jutsu alike. A tool he thought every taijutsu user should know. This would be a very huge part of his arsenal.

He listened to the instructions given to him. To force your own chakra outside of your body would be a task on its own but now to mold it into your own shape exerting it out of every chakra point to ensure it stays up and holds in place. He thought since he had found the trick to Rage he should be able to figure out this one as well. Then Akira started walking towards him saying he was going to test him right away.

Harichimo closed his eyes and began to vision his chakra working its way out and around him to create the armor. He listened closely as his sensei stepped closer and closer with his footsteps echoing throughout. He envisioned the suit at the start of his head and slowly working its way down. With the footsteps growing louder and louder he tried to make it go faster in his head thinking to push the chakra out of every chakra point he could think of and solidify it. He heard the final steps nearing him and thought he could do this. He opened his eyes and when he did he saw Akira very close and about to throw the hand towards him. He smirked and made his chakra do as he thought. He focused it through his chakra points to float just above his skin and watched as the purple glow washed over his body just as Akira's hand grew closer. He watched it wash over his shoulder just as the poke made contact and run into the barrier.

He smiled and awed at the jutsu working to see himself dowsed in purple chakra that could withstand blows. He looked down at his arms and legs also encased but the chakra he could still move his arms and legs without restraint. "Well this is certainly the experience sensei. Leave it to you to figure out ways for us to use chakra beyond its usual means." He let his chakra dissipate and looked over to his sensei.

Akira watched as he drew closer and his student became swathed in a thin purple aura rather suddenly. The young man was picking up his jutsu at a quick rate. Akira had to admit experimenting with these jutsu had taken even him about the same length of time. For a genin fresh out of the academy to learn at similar rates to himself was truly a feat. His squad was proving their capabilities every time he met them and more. It was truly a beautiful thing to behold. After all martial arts was an art form and with these techniques chakra was the paint. It simply appeared Harichimo had a purple tinge to his abilities. Akira's used to be a dirt brown until he had raised his understanding of it and made it a golden hue. Doton was a very undervalued chakra element. So many wished for Katon or Raiton due to their pure offensive uses but Doton was an impressive defense like a solid shield while also having an overwhelming offense like an avalanche. Few could withstand the brute force behind Doton or surpass its unbreakable defensive properties. However what Akira had designed he had done so pure of chakra elements so any of his students could learn them.

Still when he stretched out his hand and his finger met something as solid as steel he smiled. He could break bones with little more then a tap and yet his student had mastered a barrier to prevent that from happening. Regardless of pure brute strength no one would be able to break that barrier without first using chakra. He was sure that by utilizing that technique his students survival rate would sky rocket. Not that any had died yet but that was mostly due to his abilities as a medic. He grinned as his student let the chakra fade away and patted him on the back as gently as he could to be sure as to not hurt him. His strength was dangerous to people so he was constantly keeping himself in check. Still he was proud and he felt the gesture embodied that. Either way the young man had mastered two of the techniques to a point where he could probably practice them on his own now. But that left three techniques to practice. One of which brought harm to the body. He frowned as he remembered that one and decided to leave it for last. Either way he stepped on his toes and launched upwards to rise gracefully about two meters and spin to settle with his ankles crossed under him on a rock. Landing cross legged in the most fluid of movements as his yellow eyes looked down on his student. He spoke up once more as he smiled.

"You too will create such techniques when you feel ready. Yet I advise you to be careful when experimenting with chakra. She is a giving but crude mistress. She will bring you benefits but if abused she will break you and even possibly end you. Still I have some more I can teach you if you wish. I will let you choose the next lesson. Quick silver style will allow you to move at astonishing speeds briefly but at the level you will be learning its uncontrolled. You will move in that direction for the full distance or until you are stopped. The other is far more peaceful but requires an intense amount of concentration. I call it the flowing river style. It will allow you to sense the greatest level of chakra other then your own near you but the focus required for it requires intense training before you can use it in something as intense as battle. Which do you prefer my boy?"

Harichimo took the pat on the back with full grace. Seeing his sensei loosen up and happy with his ability to surpass his expectations on learning these advanced techniques. Harichimo knew he had it in him. His father had done his job taking Harichimo out to the clinic courtyard between chores to learn how to strike block and fight like he did. And now he had his sensei Akira teaching him some of the most advanced techniques he could think of. With two down Harichimo could feel his confidence rising with the idea of them making him about as deadly as any ninjutsu user. Being a student who excelled in taijutsu and having the mind to figure out puzzles and picture results helped him to graduate with as much knowledge as anyone who specialized in it. He and his father both felt any medic should be as effective on the battlefield as he is in the operating room. And Akira seemed to be a shining example of that and an excellent teacher being so close of a match to his specializations and style. The training may be hard but Harichimo knew this would all be for the better of himself and his squad mates.

He watched as Akira jumped back and away onto a rock and sat cross legged in almost one single fluid motion. He looked at the piercing yellow eyes of his teacher look back at him and seem to pass right through him. Harichimo listened to his sensei's advice on chakra, he knew it had many possibilities and many dangers but being as foolish and young as he was he couldn't imagine anything going wrong with his ideas. He listened to his instructor give him the options for the next lesson. A jutsu almost like his tempest style quick feet but much more potent with the assistance of chakra, or a detection jutsu which he had none of. He thought it would be a nicer step to try something he was semi familiar with. His quick feet was just a trained muscular snap to let the user change direction or feint the enemy into believing that strikes from one way instead of the other, but what Akira described was a gap closer. A way for the taijutsu user to get nice and close to deliver strikes to ranged targets. He thought this would be the better choice to keep the ball rolling with the success of a training day.

"Alright sensei. How about we go with the Quicksilver technique? There is plenty of clear space here that we can try it out with slamming into each other or objects. So tell me how to do this and we can keep up the pace. What do you say" He asked keeping his grin.

Akira merely smiled and nodded his head before he tapped his foot on the stone which in turn sent him almost floating towards the ground below. In truth he had delivered enough power to provide some lift as if jumping but not enough to completely counter the drop. Instead it slowed his decent to the ground making it appear as if he had almost floated down. Still his feet hit the ground sending up the tiniest plume of dust. He had understood some of what his student had been thinking when he made his decision. After all a move to close the distance for a taijutsu user was in fact perhaps a complete game changer. People knew well enough that getting next to a taijutsu specialist put you into their advantage making the match theirs more often then not. A skilled hand to hand expert knew to make every blow count. However the other moves had merit as well. Each move learned in turn. Akira couldn't help but to smile at it before he patted Harichimo on the shoulder. He was happy to pass on his teachings. Something was stirring in the world and he wanted some good to come of him should it come for him.

Still when he spoke he moved several paces to the left. His yellow eyes judging distance to a rock roughly ten meters away. A training dummy was near it but he had no need to limit himself to such things. He had long since entered into a realm where a rock might as well of been his punching bag. Even as he moved and contemplate his next move he smiled and his voice rang out like silk. "Taijutsu is a dance my boy. A dance that is more beautiful and fierce then any other. However, your dancing partners are shy, they are not ready for their role in this dance. They know up close you have the advantage and will strain to remain out of your reach. As you step to this dance you must realize you can not allow the mouse to outrun the lion. First, Remember footing is everything. Missing a step in this dance may remove your claws and leave you less a lion and more a vulnerable house cat. Prepare yourself and prepare any jutsu or moves before you launch. Aim yourself at your objective. As your dance partner becomes centered in the direction you wish to go, Release your chakra from yourself. Let it be the music that gives you wings. Brace yourself because this will truly let you fly. Let it out in the direction opposite of where you wish to go and then it will send you to the dance and you shall be the finest dancer, should you master it."

With that he smiled and shifted his stance. He placed his right foot forward and his left foot slightly to the left. His right fist was raised up to level with his shoulder while his left hand was brought up in front of him as if to guard. It appeared for a moment as if he intended to close line someone. But then suddenly his back began to glow. All along his back and his right fist it began to shimmer and reflect the light of day. A true kings aura. And then suddenly there was a deafening bang! As if the garden of eden had appeared little golden flecks of dust had burst out as the remnants of chakra that had thrown Akira across the distance in a mere half a second he had crossed ten meters. Before even a second could pass his golden fist slammed into the rock with such an impact that dust lifted off the grounds and flew off in every direction. The stone itself stood tall but still, audible cracks could be heard. Before the dust could even settle the rock crumbled and fell with a loud crash. It took a moment for the dust to settle but in the place of a rock was only ruins and Akira smiling with his arms crossed. He spoke out then across the distance.

"This will be our final lesson for the day. judge the distance between you and your dance partner. Aim for the training dummy here. Make sure it is barely more then ten meters away. Watch your footing and prepare to break your own landing. Let your chakra seep from you and then break it away from you. It will react by violently tossing you forward. Be prepared for it because for a little under half a second you may not even be able to perceive how fast you are moving. That is why it is important to know where you will land and be prepared. Upon landing strike out with force and you may defeat your opponent in one powerful move. Try now my student. Do not be frightened by what you can do, simply trust that I am here and watching."

Harichimo watched his sensei once again clear the height of his stone perch in a single fluid motion to land next to him. With a pat on the shoulder he felt as though he knew how much progress he was making this day and every day on with these new techniques. He watched as his sensei walked over to a new spot of the Coliseum and listened to what his next instructions would be.

He listened to his teacher's lecture on treating the art of taijutu as a dance. A taijutsu user has to be able to maneuver not only himself but also their opponent to reach the desired end goal. The end goal of victory and being the one to say that they we the better of the dancers.

He watched his sensei go into his fighting stance pointed towards a giant boulder. There was no doubt someone of his strength would be able to take it on. The same golden aura from before began collecting and pooling along his back. And then an audible bang as if a thunderstorm had opened up inside the Coliseum rang throughout. Harichimo had to cover his ears at the pure deafening level. When he gathered himself he saw the trail of gold chakra disappearing into a cloud of dust and rubble. The dust cleared to show the man standing with crossed arms as if he hadn't exerted any effort at all.

Akira rang out for Harichimo to take his bout at the technique. Harichimo squared himself up with the training dummy. He planned to try and land a simple right hook to the dummy once he reached target. Harichimo had to anticipate his landing spot right next to the dummy. He focused his chakra to gather along his back like he had seen. He had to make it compress until it was ready to burst. He knew as soon as he would let go. It would only be a blink of an eye before he would be right next to the dummy. Harichimo took a breath and released the chakra. A smaller bang rang out and Harichimo felt himself jerk as if his fist had made contact with something and he fell down to one knee and slide right where he had planned to be. He looked over to his right and saw the training dummy folded backwards. A dummy made of solid wood and straw bent over as if it was just a sheet of paper in a strong breeze.

Harichimo gathered himself and stood up looking with pure amazement. He had to take in what he had done. In the matter of microseconds he had delivered a blow with power so few would be able to achieve. He couldn't help but smile and clench his fists together in a show of pure enjoyment. He looked over to his sensei and gave a honorable bow. "Thank you very much for the opportunity to learn these techniques. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to train these further and perfect with them. Whenever and where ever I can grab the spare time and energy you can bet on it. Was there anything else we need to discuss today?"

Akira watched with a mixture of amusement and pride at his disciples progress. He was learning these techniques at a very fast pace. Even faster then Yomi had which had surprised him a little. Then again Yomi had issues with her advanced elemental chakra alignment at first. Harichimo seemed to be more in tune with his natural chakra without the elemental alignment. It worked out fairly well in the end. Still Akira clasped his hands together and bowed his head to symbolize the end of the training session. His yellow eyes seemed to smile along with his smirk as he stood straight and spoke up. His voice a soft caress as always upon the ears.

"You did well Harichimo. You learn quickly. We shall continue training more techniques at a later time. For now be a good lad and clean up the damage. It is a bit of a chore but it will work your body some too. Get a full work out from the day. Your body must also be able to keep up with your chakra after all. Continue to practice those techniques until you can do them mid combat as well. Once you have mastered those you may find me again and we will learn more." With that he winked and then suddenly he was gone. One moment he was standing there and the next all that was left was a blur fading away and a dust trail out of the arena.
