A resounding SMACK echoed through the empty coliseum that was bared down on by the bright undeterred sun If it had not been for the east blowing wind that went about it today it would seem a bit hot fro the two competitors. Though these fighters today would be a bit different from what people would expect, for while there was two, they in truth, where part of a single whole.

THUD. This was the best way to describe what it sound like when you've just been slapped by yourself in the face. Hai reeled back a bit as she looked at Haru, placing her right foot forward and left foot just a bit back with her knees bent. Her sunlight colored eyes stared at Haru's sapphire hues and waited for her next action. Haru had limited mental communication in order for the two of them to train without reading each other's thoughts. Hai would rush forward this time being the aggressor, forming a flat palm and seeking to strike Haru in the stomach, and met the mark, but not without a clumsy execution of a leg sweep, performed by falling but kicking forward at Hai's left ankle, sending both to the ground. Hai landed on her rear while Haru landed on her back, but was laughing. For them, sparring often came down to this. They trying to be stronger, but because they were always evenly matched, even when not connecting telepathically, the other usually knew a good counter for the other, simply because while they didn't have the exact same thought process, it was near identical in most ways.

To the onlooker, the sight would have been more than a little strange. Because Haru was a part of the Soseiji clan, and was fighting her clone. They wore very similar clothing. Haru wore a pair of black slacks and a light blue button down with a yellow necktie. Usually, she would be better dressed for a spar, but this was a spontaneous decision. For Hai, she was wearing the same style clothing, but was wearing no necktai, and instead was wearing a blue newsboy looking cap on her head.

Haru and hai would each stand up, Haru being a bit slower having to get up off her back, while Hai simply stood up and brushed herself off from the dirt of the coliseum. Now Haru would be the aggressor, albiet in an odd style, tumbling forward like a drunk, before using the momentum to spin on her back and kick about at Hai. Hai, was honestly taken off guard a bit, and got a kick to the stomach for her trouble, and fell backwards, as Haru lifted her own body off the ground quickly and stood straight with a smile. Haru and Hai both knew the best way to go about this, and it was to fight in a way that neither would be able to expect. After all, they knew each other too well for a straight fight with each other.

But for now, Haru offered a hand and helped Hai up as they locked eyes a moment, and Hai noted it as time to  allow communication. Hai mentally laughed and spoke in her mind That was a dirty trick Haru-kun!. Haru would just turn around and inwardly, and smile while looking about the coliseum. Haru thought to Hai with a cheer to the tone Well, that's kinda how Zui Quan works Hai, You gotta be ready to react and to do something odd!. Haru would continue to inwardly give a slight chuckle as she thought of what to do next. Sparring, while it killed time, wasn't their ideal training style unless someone joined them in all honesty.

Hai thought to her friend Well we could work on the track for now, we have spent the last whjile fighting, we could do for some more leg excercise . Haru nodded in agreement. There was also some  obstacles on the track though would do well for them to work on.

Haru and Hai, removing hat and necktie from themselves and placing them on a bench that also had a blue cardigan and a lab coat. Now all but their eyes looks like twin boys , their appearance as women a bit askew thanks to the bandages suppressing their appearance. They simply did it because it allowed them to keep better balance than if they where left unrestrained. And it usually meant some idiot wouldn't come and bother them while they were training.

HAru and Hai took off across the track, keeping speed with each other, but Haru just a bit ahead, given she was the one that  gave the signal, she reacted at the end of her Go, while Hai took a moment to register it. This was most certainly a slight advantage, as even now they were competing. The leaped the hurdles nearly in sync, but Haru almost tripped when the tip of one of her feet barely nicked a hurdle's top, causing Haru to have to hop on a loafer covered foot a few steps, putting her just a few inches behind Hai now, and Haru cursed inwardly a bit at her left foot as they ran, Haru leaning forward a bit more and stretching out her steps while kicking forward, her movements ab it more like single footed leaps for a bit instead of running, and managed to barely keep up with Hai, before going back to her normal pace, to which Hai mentally laughed to Haru Trying a bit hard there Haru, what fraid to lose?. Haru laughed back mentally while keeping steady breaths.

The two had always been like this, their competitiveness was rather well known for when they were in the Academy, often racing the other students, and each other, for lunch, and even going so far as to arm wrestle each other for the last of a type of food the other may have wanted. After all, while their were the same person, they still had to try to one up the other, their own way of bettering themselves was a way to put it for sure.

Akira had intended to train alone that day. It was fairly warm so the cold mountain are was broken enough to remind him of Konoha. While the breeze was a nice comfort to those training. That aside the blacksmith had just finished his request albeit the man thought him insane. It had been delivered to the coliseum for him in his private locker room. And it had taken four men to do it. Granted they weren't shinobi but they didn't actually believe any man could do what the order intended. Still Akira had set his mind on it for some time now. So he entered his bedroom and walked into his bathroom. There he shifted out of his suit. Taking off his coat and his dagger before placing them on a hook. He unbuttoned his shirt and his belt buckle before finally he slipped out of the rest of his clothing. Quietly he tied his hair back into a pony tail before he wrapped his forearms and feet in bandages. Quietly he slipped into his sleeveless Karate Gi. The typical martial arts uniform but without any sleeves in the way. The white fabric hugged him close as he cinched up his black belt It had some stretching room but it was form fitting enough. It still was loose enough to be grabbed but close enough to his body size that it hardly fluttered in the breeze as he stepped out of his home and began walking towards the coliseum.

As he entered he found his order was placed on the floor next to a cracked bench. Someone had forgotten to distribute the weight along the bench and had caused some damage it seemed. Still it mattered little to him. Quietly he began to place the items around his person. Around each calve one hundred pound weight were distributed to weigh down on each leg. Another hundred pounds was a vest which he placed under his Karate Gi. And then his forearms had a hundred pounds to each as well. To top it off he had a belt for another hundred pounds which clipped to the vest. All in all it was six hundred pounds distributed through out his entire body. He strained for a moment and a bead of sweat broke out and ran down his cheek. For a moment he wondered if he had over estimate himself. Still he took a few test steps. It was a manageable amount but he would need to work harder to regain speed. As it stood he was at best the max a genin could achieve (D-3) in every sense but perception. His body strained with each step but he could move still. With the weights on he began to stretch and ease his muscles into more fluid movements. It was going to take some work but he could do it. If nothing else he would grow even stronger from this. After training with these weights and getting used to them his body would seem light as a feather afterwards. And so with that goal in mind he emerged into what he thought would be the empty coliseum since there was no event planned for the day.

As he stepped out he saw some what of an oddity. For a moment he suspected the worst. Had someone known he planned on weakening himself to such a vulnerable position today? If so he had walked into a trap and he would need to destroy the weights quickly. For a moment he considered doing just that and preparing for battle. But his eyes studied them from across the way. It appeared they were identical, two boys , no wait, they had very feminine features and they didn't move like men. They were not stiff as men typically were. It was possible they were women. But they didn't seem to be waiting for anyone in particular. If anything they seemed to be fighting each other. It also appeared they were on even ground. So similar it was like watching shadow clones go at it. But that wasn't possible. Clones were destroyed after a single blow. Still he watched them with interest as they started for the track. They weren't fast and they barely cleared the hurdles. Still they seemed to move with some training. If anything he guessed he was looking at a fresh pair of genin eager to get stronger. He smiled to himself as he watched them. Youth and their eagerness to grow into something more was usually awe inspiring. He liked to see the new generation seeking to better themselves and enjoying it too. He despised laziness almost half as much as he hated criminal scum that preyed on the innocent. But these two peeked his interest. So he figured he would at least offer to train with them. Any good Kage should. After all they were both in the coliseum at the moment.

At first Akira could only walk. The weights made walking difficult. Off balance at almost all times. If anything balancing the weights was more difficult then wearing them. Still he was able to concentrate and feel a flow behind it. He stumbled once and caught himself by slamming his foot down. An audible crack was heard as the ground around his right foot crumbled and cratered. A small foot sized crater where he had acted too quickly to steady himself. He would need to be careful and not do any downwards blows at the two should they accept his training. Still he was getting used to it so he broke into a jog. Soon enough he approached them, the sound of his feet hitting the ground making a thud thud thud noise as he approached. Still his smile was warm even if the weights were obvious to look at as an unseemly amount. Still he stopped about five meters away and bowed his head to them. He felt heavy but that was fine. So long as he only moved upwards and never down with gravity around them he was practically on their level.

"Hey Kiddos. Its a beautiful day isn't it? I saw you two sparring a moment ago and was fairly impressed. Want go a round with an old man? I promise no matter what happens you will be fine. I am a med nin after all"

Haru and Hai both stopped when they head the loud, almost cracking like sound as they turned their eyes to the source, so see a man dressed in all sorts of weights, at least they figured they were weights from the look of them. For a moment the blue haired duo stared at the man in confusion. They registered with each other the weights were likely either very heavy, or this was a civilian, then again, a normal civilian wouldn't be wearing weights that caused them to crack the ground with simply a step of their foot. So the pair watched the man and in their minds they spoke with curiousity while glancing at each other, moving their hands to match their noting. First was Haru placing her hands on her hips as she tossed a look at Hai. Hmmm do we recognize him? He looks a little familiar, but I'm not sure I place his face. He has the same eye color as you though Hai.

Hai put a hand to her own chin in though and would place a finger in the air and shake her head, thinking to her counterpart*"I believe we have, but I can't place it, maybe it's the clothes? Both looked at the heavily weighted man before them and raised eyebrows curiously as they walked in sync with each other to meet him when he stopped before them bowing, closing the gap to about two meters as they each stared with their eyes, the eyes being the only thing that really set them apart. They listened to the man a bit as he asked if they would care to spar with him, and that he was a med nin. Hai raised an eyebrow trying to think who it was and Haru shrugged thinking to her counterpartWell What do you think Hai? We were just thinking we needed a sparring partner. Hai shrugged, then nodded as she stepped to the side. While they were part of a whole, two on one when sparring, they found distasteful, and Hai walked to the bench, putting on her hat and lab coat.

Haru spoke as she stepped backwards a meter making the gap three meters as she stood straight and spoke to the man*"Well, Hai seems to have no issue with it. My name is Haru Soseiji sir, and I would love a chance to spar with one of my elders of the village, especially on a day when it's seemingly warmer than usual, I usually have to wear another layer or two!"* Haru gave a smile as her blue eyes lit with anticipation, before the look dulling to one that would almost seem like a stupor, as she gave a clumsy smile as began to waver a bit in her stance, her legs bending, the left in front of the right, and her hands making loose fists as she eyed the man with only one eye, the other one half drooped.

Hai mocked silent giggling in the back ground. That was the normal look Haru got when about to fight, it was their way of mimicking the fighting style they attempted to learn. Drunken boxing, otherwise known as Zui Quan. Hai was interested to see if  Haru and her would be able to even touch this man. For someone to wear so many weights, and crack the earth, he had to to be extremely physically strong without those things, but with them on, he seemed to stumble a bit. Hai did note to Haru, that hitting the weights would not be beneficial, and inwardly, Haru laughed. for a friendly spar however, Haru cut off communications with Hai, which made her uncomfortable, but she didn't want Hai giving her cues if something happened. But for now, Haru waited and watched, she needed to guage the level difference between herself and this man. There was a good chance... that she wouldn't be able to keep up even in the slightest if this man fought seriously.

Akira watched with yellow eyes as they seemed to make gestures towards each other that were typical to people communicating with each other and yet their lips didn't move an inch. Was this one of those instances where people claimed that twins could sense what the other was thinking? No it had to be more then that. The gestures were more in line with a conversation taking place. Still the moment they approached they did so in unison. It was certainly a useful trait between them. If anything he suspected more then just a slight connection. Bordering on telepathy. He was truly fascinated now. Still when they bowed he smiled and crossed his arms. He looked them both over for a moment as one of them spoke. But as she did so her counterpart went and got dressed over by the bench. It was an interesting Dilemma to him to see people so in unison split apart for training. For it would not do for one to become stronger if the other fell behind. But that was their choice if they wanted to make it. Besides it was just one match. If anything she could learn just as much from observing from over there.

Still as the remaining sparring partner moved into a position three meters away Akira blinked yet again. For a moment he drifted back in time through his memories. The match he had with Kaguza Myugan that had torn apart a small stadium. The days when he had felt invincible and truly enjoyed duking it out with the Sannin from Kiri. It had ended in a stalemate but Akira had gotten much stronger since then. He wondered if the drunken sannin from Kiri had another match with him now if it wouldn't destroy everything near them for half a mile. At least if they were fighting seriously. Still he couldn't let himself get caught up in the past and forget who he was fighting now. If he got excited and treated the person in front of him like Kaguza he might bring more harm to them then he intended by far. Still he chuckled warm kindheartedly and uncrossed his arms. When he spoke it was in good humor. His voice not insulting the girl in any way.

"Interesting! I haven't seen drunken boxing in a very long time. It is a rare style and most have never faced it before. Truly a difficult thing to counter if you have never faced it before. You are very talented. But Drunken boxing is a difficult thing to master. It has several hard counters to it as well. For instance in order to be effective you need to react without planning your moves and use counters. However if there is a flow to the battle and you get caught up in the pattern even your moves gain a measure of predictability about them. Lets see if you can prevent yourself from falling into a pattern while remaining fluid shall we?"

With that Akira shifted into a slightly different stance. His feet spread apart. Right foot forward and to the right and left foot back and to the left. His muscles flexed as he switched weight between both legs. It was slow at first. His body swaying left and right as he became used to the weights. It was an odd fighting style that seemed to move the body left and right in an incredibly straightforward and highly predictable pattern His hands raised up and he directed his fists with knuckles pointed at his opponent. He was mixing a hypnotic movement with muay tai. Suddenly he was moving forward. Each step swaying left and then right in a pattern that almost seemed to draw people into the movements. It looked weak but something about it was off. It looked easy to strike at but at the same time striking at it was predictable. As if it was leaving less openings then it seemed. And then he moved across the three meters in a second with a fast elbow jab towards Haru's forehead. He was eager to test if the girl could evade his blows without getting caught up in the pattern.

Haru's eyes stared vacantly at the man as she remained in her haphazard stance as her gaze glanced over the shoulder of her opponent as he spoke with her one still mostly open sleep eye while her more drooped eye still had a focus on the man as he spoke of how Drunken boxing was a difficult style to learn, and furthermore to not get caught in the flow. Haru would give a half nod as she focused on the idea of drunkenness. There had been many times she tasted the effects of sake in order to learn it's proper movements, and even now she felt slightly rigid in comparison, her legs still a bit stiff, and her arm despite the waving and constant motion she took from side to side back and forth, she still felt something off, something just imperfect about the waving, perhaps the feeling would only be felt when under the true effect of inebriation. Her other eye that was looking past him as noting the shoulders and stance he was taking, what was that....

She watched his swaying movements as he lifted his fists up and pointed them towards her. It reminded her of a snake, though she felt like as she focused more on her opponent, she could be just sucked in if she wasn't careful, she could feel it. This man... she felt the intensity, he wasn't just a old man... she knew she recognized the man but for the life of her couldn't figure it out. But those thoughts would be saved for later as the man suddenly appeared in front of her, and her eyes widened a moment as she tossed herself on her back as fast as she could while kicking her foot into the area just above man's pelvis in order to kick off him and get distance between herself and the man. Although, with his weights she doubt she even did a minute amount of damage to him, the best she could hope for was that she knocked him off his center, as she slid on her back on the ground in her blue button down. She felt the dirt of the dirt floor of the arena as she slid back and cringed a bit before she stopped and kicked herself back onto her feet but she stood up straight holding up a hand before speaking in a mildly surprised tone*"That....You must have some insane strength to close the gap that fast while wearing those..."* Har place her left hand on the back of her own neck and met the man's eyes with her own sapphire hues before speaking in a mixture of a complacent and annoyed tone, with a tad bit of resignment*"I hate to ask this.... but do you mind if Hai joins us? I am not a fan of a unfair spa, but seeing your speed just now, I don't believe either of us would stand a chance even with all those weights on you."*

Hai looked up from the bench she sat on and looked at Haru quizzically a tone in her thoughts showing a form of concern Are you sure Haru?. Haru looked to Hai who stood at a bench a few meters to the right of them and spoke aloud*"Yeah Hai, there's no way we could fight this guy one on one even with those weights on... I'm scared to see what he is like without them."* Haru then turned her gaze back to the man before her as Hai removed the lab coat and hat, and quickly moved to Haru's side with a mischievous smile and a gleam of curiosity in her yellow eyes as they each looked to the man. If their eyes where not so sharp this would be difficult, but now their minds where open to each other, and they were ready to relay information as they battle, if the man allowed them each to fight.

They still stared at him as they attempted to figure out who he was.

Akira watched as the girl moved back in reaction to his sudden advance. It was a good movement based on instinct. Had she not moved she would of been sporting a lump on her forehead right then. He felt a little pride in the girl for her natural aptitude for martial arts. It was already obvious that she had a huge amount of potential. He felt kind of bad for being such a daunting task so early in her training. Even with his weights it was hardly fair to her. Still he was going to hold back enough not to hurt them and he wouldn't cheapen the battle by using his jutsu when he already had such an overwhelming advantage. Still he watched the girls feet rise and his arm opposite the elbow jab moved to cover where her foot was moving. Still with the weights on he made it a lot slower then he was used to. As such he felt her body weight push off his arm more then if he had defended properly. Still it was better then if it had pushed off his undefended body. He was not about to get out of practice for defending even if it appeared he could simply take the blow. One never knew just how much impact a blow could have. After all Akira could shatter bones with the slightest touch of his fingertips.

Still he watched Haru jumped back to her feet from the ground. She was fast to react and certainly endurable. To throw herself to the ground to evade his blow did a great deal less damage but it likely still hurt a little. Akira hesitated to pursue not wishing to bully the girl. As he did so he watched her raise her hand. He could tell from her voice that the difference between them troubled her. As such he decided Muay tai was too much of a hostile martial arts for the moment. He watched as the girl addressed her twin and the other girl prepared to join them. He smiled at the idea of such a challenge before he raised his hands. With the sound of his right fist smacking into his left palm he created a small burst of air. These two intrigued him. With his fist clenched his left hand folded over it as he bowed his head. His yellow eyes never leaving them. When he spoke his tone was soft and slightly amused.

"Please. You honor me with this challenge. Do not hold back and push me as far as you can. I have no doubt you will find victory in team work."

With that he let go of his fist and clenched his left hand into a fist as well. As he took in a deep breath he spread his feet and pulled his arms down to his sides folding at the elbows with his knuckles down and thumbs up. On the exhale he thrust his fists down in front of him. His form moved as he turned sideways placing his right foot slightly forward and pointed it at the twins. The foot planted flat on the ground. His right hand rose up parallel to his chin while his left hand moved down to rest against his abs with the fist also pointed at the girls. His left foot had the heel raised and was turned sideways With less pressure on it as the toes dug into the ground. He had switched into a Karate stance. One designed for powerful strikes but with its power it sacrificed speed. It was obvious the right leg was his balance and the left leg was designed to kick. The right hand was designed to counter and Strike while the left hand looked like it could defend. But the stance seemed flawed against two people at once. It seemed to leave no defense on his back. What was he up to putting himself in such a handicapped position? Either way he waited for the two of them to move. Drunken boxings main power landed in counters. It had its own attacks but it was much better as a counter martial arts. He wondered how well they could attack without him making the first move.

The two smiled to the man as he did, knowing what his answer would be before he even spoke it, and Hai began a low crouch as she began stepping to the mans right side, her knees both bent as she creeped five meters to the man's right, while Haru resumed the complacent albiet goofy look of her stance, raising her right foot just a hair off the ground and bending it down as she leaned back a bit with her stance, the right knee pointed at the man as he completed his sentence. It was definitely not going to be a winning trade for them if they didn't use everything they could. And in this case it wasn't much, this was strictly a fight for taijutsu, and even two on one, they were disadvantaged, with his weights covering him, it might as well have been armor, while his speed was at least that of a chuunin while wearing it, and strength to make the earth shudder upon even a slight movement.

Haru would approach quickly from the front in a near stumbling motion, the gap between them being something of 5 meters at first, and in the last two meters, Haru would stumble forward and slide  on her back heel forward and quickly as she slid towards the man's legs. Haru acknowledged this as a double edged sword potential, and would kick the heal of her left foot towards the right inner thigh, as close to the pelvis area as possible without actually striking that area, aiming for the joint. Haru knew this was the point of balance, and knew that his upward mobility was weak, at least till he got used to the weight, but his downward force... in this case she treated him as handicapped, Haru didn't see him as the "crush the bones of the young" teacher, Though Haru was prepared if he attempted to strike with his left leg, and would counter it with meeting his shin with the point on her shoe to his shin, focusing the slight rubber tip of her loafer toward's the lock at the shin and ankle if she could. And if he would stop either foot with a hand, if she had time, she would slide the more advantaged foot to the poor man's groin, a cheap trick, but it was the most vulnerable area on the average human.

Meanwhile, the low crouched Hai would run forward from the man's right side, her hands in open claws, and would duck off to his right shoulder while Haru began her own personal sequence of attacks. Hai found it distasteful to aim for the groin, but this man could take it....they hoped. Hai's stance that she took, had both knees crouched and had a quick stumbling notion, a bit like an old drunk, would be the better way to describe it, like a hobbled man quickly stumbling forward as she sloshed her hands about opening and closing them in the air, before side stepping off to her own right, towards the man's direct back, and would grab the clothing the man was wearing, the gi, by the collar and the pants by the waist, and would jerk him back as if falling backwards with all her weight, and if he did indeed start to fall, she would jerk hard downwards one more time to enforce the weight of her pull and the weights, and then immediately jump backwards, and would perform this in tandem with Haru's movements, their mind syncing to try to take advantage of the one weakness that they could easily take hold of.

Akira watched as the two girls moved at the same moments. Each splitting apart and coming at him from different sides. The whole idea of it was entertaining to watch. Everything but the eyes about these girls moved and shifted in unison. It was like watching a dance just from the two of them walking. As if they both moved to the same tune and danced to the same moves. No, it was more then that, It was like watching a person move along side a mirror. For a moment they seemed like the same being. It was truly a talented thing. He had seen clones before through individuals with Ninjutsu but the clones acted separately at almost all times. The mimicked the individual in body and mind but at times the clones seemed to act separately as a separate individual. But these two, these twins seemed to hold something deeper then that. It was a dangerous ordeal to face them for certain. Such a connection between two things as difficult to counter. It almost made him wish he hadn't chosen to wear the weights for this. But even weighed down he was no amateur himself. He had a idea or two about dealing with them without causing massive damage.

Even as the two of them broke apart and came at him from separate directions it seemed in unison. Had they already been a little faster the twin sided attack likely would of been much harder to anticipate and negate. However Akira was a very perceptive individual. His eyes focused on the one sliding towards him. Her legs moved in such a way as to try and do some type of leg attack. A grapple perhaps? He wasn't used to that but she did pose a gambling problem for him. With those weights on striking downwards was too risky. If he didn't hold back enough then he could maim the girl. At that angel most of his attacks were too dangerous to attempt. However he couldn't retreat from it either. His ears could hear the approach of the other girl. Maintaining the same pace and distance from him to connect at the same moment. Even split apart they moved in unison.  It was impressive to find such skill in his genin. He was proud of them but he couldn't let himself just be grappled. He knew the dangers of being taken to the ground.

However as they were close to connecting Akira's body seemed to move in one fluid motion. Akira's legs lifted out of the path of the sliding leg lock and at the same time his upper body leaned away out of the grasp of the attack coming from behind him and to the right. He had jumped into a side ways roll. However this was just the beginning. His right foot shot out but carefully so as not to cause damage to try and kick Haru in the waist while his left hand slammed downwards to slam into the ground next to the others face. The hard slamming so hard it cracked the earth and left a hand print into the ground. He wanted to make sure she knew that had he used her face instead of the ground the attack would of been far more intense. Either way whether his attacks actually landed or had any effect he had enough turning power to somersault out of the pincer attack. Landing on his feet five meters away from the direction the leg slide had come from he landed with his feet bouncing. His hands brought up and swaying open palmed as he bounced from foot to foot. He had changed fighting styles yet again. And this one looked fast paced.

"Good!" He called out to them with a grin. His yellow eyes shining happily. "You two both almost had me there. You are very very skilled. Come now. Try again. Try and stagger it a little bit by about half a second. If you two move in constant unison then it becomes predictable that the other will attack at the same time from the blind spot. If you stagger it by about that half a second then you can see how the opponent is moving to counter the first attack and adjust your own attack to counter the counter."
