The sound of flesh hitting wood rung out from the circular training ground, being the wake up call for some of the early birds within Takigakure. A thin layer of sweat on his face glistered in the morning rays.  It was still somewhat dark outside, but it was quickly freeing from the rays of the morning sun. The orange plasma ball slowly making it's ascent to the rightful place in the sky.

Whack.

Whack.

Whack.

Time flowed together seemingly, never stopping nor ending; a continuous flow that swept up anything caught within it's grasp. Second. Minutes. Hours, How long had he been out here? One hour. Two hours. Three? Maybe four? He didn't know nor cared about it much. The only thing that he cared about was the repetitive task that he had sought out to do, and was currently doing.

It had been sometime since he had trained or thought about training. Having come back to Iwagakure to find the hospital in disarray, and the hospital head doctor to be missing along with her lover. And being the only apprentice of the missing Hospital Head doctor, training under the woman for an extensive amount of time and being nominated as her successor if something would happen to her, he was now in charge of the establishment. So, he had spent countless of sleepless nights with the Hospital in order to get it back into working order. And even though most is now done there was still a lot too do, leaving him with little time to train. Even now, the only reason he has the currently luxury is due Iwa having some genins within the Chuunin Exams, and they had wanted him to tag along to head the medics.

He didn't care that much for the exams, seeing how as just another gambling opportunity and a way for the Kages to show off their products, genin, to future buyers, clients. The matches didn't piqued his interest though he did heard, from some unhappy gamblers, while walking through the market place, that none from Iwa. had made it to finals. However, the girl who almost made it to the finals showed promised, and some were saying that it's pleasing to see Stone Country slowly prospering again. He really didn't stick around after that, having bought the items he needed, and founded information regarding the training grounds of Takigakure.

Torn bandaged and bloody hands blasted forward, wrapping around the human size log, pushing off his left leg and driving a hard knee to the center. This action would be repeat over, and over again. Twenty strikes per leg.  No sooner after that, the elbows was giving the same treatment of meeting the log, followed closely by his fists and leg. Muscles were being torn with each movement, being ripped to shreds, they cried out for relief but founded none.

Nanashi's fist shot forward towards the human size log wrapped in nylon rope with the precision of surgeon but lacking the power that a true master of the taijutsu art has. It's a shame at the lack of process made in grasping the fundamentals of the art. He thought it would be easy, having being somewhat familiar with close quarter combat due to the training his mother had put him through, but it seems like that wasn't the case. An overlook flaw within his own known. He knew there was a difference from throwing a punch then actually throwing one, but for some reason his body didn't knowledge this. Maybe the pride that had long since been buried to the far corners of  his mind was finally surfing in an unexpected manner? It causing him to believe because of his rank, and status around the Elemental Nation, that learning Taijutsu would easy and it wouldn't be long before he had master it? Not really paying attention to the average time it took someone to master the art. Years. Years. Years.

Yeah. That had to be the reason for him not taking mastering the art seriously. The reason behind him neglecting training in the art during his time away from Iwagakure and the Elemental Nations in general. Sure he had used some hand to hand during his reclusion, but not against formidable opponents or anyone that would poise a threat for a shinobi, maybe a civilian, but definitely not a shinobi. But that poised another question.

Why didn't his mother say anything to him or did she not know about him taking of the art? No, she knew. That lady knew everything, and even somethings that a retire shinobi shouldn't know. So, yeah she had to know about his interest, and yet did nothing to help him; not like she was obligated to help her son despite being in prime condition to do so, being an accomplish Taijutsu specialist and lover of the art. If offered training, he would have taking up the offer with hesitation knowing well enough that she would be a formidable opponent and someone who would threaten his life with every strike made. But yet she didn't offer none of this, and for the life of Nanashi he couldn't figure out why.

Thump.

Thump.

With each punch thrown, kick lashing out, and knew rising from below like a torpedoing shark, connecting with the wooden post with precision only seen in surgery, he knew that each one lacked the proper power of someone of his stature and ranking. And for someone like him, a perfectionist like his mother, the ideal of not being strong in an art that he started to taking serious almost a year ago didn't sit well. No matter how much pride he might have, he had come to the realization that he needed to kick start his training and reclaim his glory.

It's time for the world to remember who he was. Not at the 'Best Medic in the Elemental Nation', a title that no longer holds much weight due to others coming up since his absences, but rather "The Pestilence of Iwa."

Yeah, it is time.

After her "short" five day recuperation from the quarter finals, Suteki took the remainder of the Chuunin Exams to explore the never ending boundless eccentricities of Takigakure and the surrounding countryside.  She had spoken to several people after she woke up, having been asleep for 4 days, regaining what strength she had lost. The village of Takigakure was a nice place, but she wanted to see more of the mysterious country.  The young kunoichi might never be able to come back to this little haven of a country anytime soon, if ever, so she wanted to take all that it had to offer in memory.  Like the place she went to a few days ago called Lake Eternia.  A natural luminescent pond overgrown with wildflowers.  It was a site to see during the day, and even more so once night came.  She spent two days at that place exploring the meadows and watching the sunset in anticipation of exploring during the night.  She wanted to take another trip there before she left the area to travel back to Iwagakure after the exams were all said and done.

The country that Takigakure resided within seemed to be a rather peaceful and somehow secure place.  Very little crime could be seen, outside of what the Tsuchikage Akira had caused that one night at the Party House.  The Takigakure shinobi had a tight lid on this place it seemed.  Perhaps something to be thankful for.  Her next stop was to head to The Hand of Stone.  A place she was told was worth stopping at.  They didn't tell her much of the location, only that it was a natural phenomenon worth taking an interest in.

As the young girl traveled down the path, she still had thoughts and regret from the Chuunin Exams that she had fallen in.  Her match could easily have gone another way.  When Suteki traveled to these locations, not much could be done except thinking of what could have been or what should have been.  The other girl she was facing had fallen just after she had.  If she could have stuck it out longer.  In the end, her opponent had more injuries than her, and was actually slightly at the back end of capabilities.  She regretted in taking a backseat at the start of the match, and letting her opponent dictate the fight.  Though, she could have just as easily continued her strategy and easily taken the win just as well.  Her opponent suffered more damage, wasn't able to deal with her genjutsu which she heard lasted quite sometime after the Tsuchikage had removed her from the arena.  The girl was better at taking physical hits than she, otherwise she was the more capable.  What cost her the fight was lack of physical endurance, and a lack of chakra or thereof lack of good Ninjutsu at her disposal.  She needed jutsu that were more...something?  She just wasn't sure.  The walks to these locations always brought her down.  Another thought crept in, she would have to thank Akira at some point for helping her out.  If not for him, she might have had some horrible disfigurement or been hospitalized longer.

Suteki took a deep breath in, than exhaled slowly, closing her eyes as she walked down the beaten path to the falls, trying to put the thoughts of her lose out of her mind. She pushed a tree branch out of her way, getting closer to the falls and something else.  She could hear the echos of wood chopping or something of the sort ahead, along with the sound of water falling in the distance.  The odd sound, different from what would be expected out here in the middle of nowhere attracted her, so she started to head towards it.  The sound grew louder, meaning she was getting closer obviously, though she still couldn't see what was ahead through he brush.

The leaves rattled, the grass and dead leaves being brushed aside wouldn't hide her advancement.  She could see someone beating on a log ahead now, a silver haired large sized, what she imagined at the moment man, though with his long hair she wasn't sure just yet.  She went closer, watching for a moment to see if she was noticed or not.  Perhaps he was a shinobi from another country or of Takigakure.  She didn't want to distract or perhaps enrage the person by intruding on their bush whacking.  She continued towards him though, not hiding her presence at all until she entered the clearing.  She kept herself reserved, legs close together and hands in front of her clasped together as she watched for a moment to grasp what he was up to.

The sound of water rushing downwards and then crashing into the rocks below was deafeningly close to Yuki. Her back pressed against the cold stone, of the middle of the five digits that stuck out of the waterfall. Her legs dangling off the edge, or the digit. She was in her usual every day outfit, with three senbon in each of the sleeves of her hoodie, and her kunai in the pouch on the opposite leg of her Iwagakure no sato headband. The water split and feel off of either side of the digit, right before it reached Yuki's head. Her arms spread out, as each finger barely went over the side of the digit. She had been in that position for nearly three hours now. Staring off into the sky, her mind wandering around. Hey mind's eye was currently occupied by the sweet memories of her family that she hadn't seen in a few years now. she was picturing the way they laughed, the way they smiled at her. the sweet smell of the meals her mother used to make her. the gentle touch of her father. all of these memories of her family back in Suna were playing like a movie in her mind. Tears threatened to come out of her eyes. She missed them terribly. However, as she grew a little bit older in age she began to figure out what had happened to her compound. From what little information she had gathered she found out that a clan who had their head of clan assassinated by Yuki's Family wanted revenge, And so instead of finding who ever had hired Yuki's Family, they instead simply went after them. From Yuki's Gathered information she had also found out that her entire family had been slaughtered that night. Well, all except for her of course. Her grandmother had made sure of that.

The sound of leaves rattling loudly, as well as dead leaves being stepped on quickly brought Yuki back into reality. She sat up slowly to see if she could find the source of the noise, while letting out a sigh. She assumed that the noise was heading towards the sound of a log being chopped down slowly, as that noise had been going on every since Yuki had arrived. She scanned the area briefly, but couldn't spot anything. So she jumped down onto the water, quickly activating the chakra in her feet to made sure that she didn't fall through. Then she walked forwards on the water, towards the sound of whatever had been hitting the log for several hours now. She figured it should be about time that she figured out what that was as well. Yuki would start heading straight towards the sound, making sure to tread a lot quieter than what ever was also heading towards the sound. Making sure to swipe away dead leaves before stepping, and ducking underneath dead branches and slowly moving over logs as well. Making her presence known wasn't something that Yuki wanted to do at the moment. then finally after a little bit of walking she reached the edge of clearing which looked to contain something that resembled a Training ground. She stood behind a tree and peered around it, into the clearing. From what she could tell, a Man with rather long silver hair was continually beating a log that was roughly the size of a human. The loud sound of crunching leaves and leaves rattling was coming from behind the man. With Yuki's arm at her side she gave a quick movement forward and then stopped suddenly, the motion looked like she had just had a nervous tick in both of her arms. What she had done however was shake lose the senbon in her sleeves, and she caught 3 of them in each hand between her fingers. Then she brought her right hand up near her left cheek with the senbon still in hand, ready to throw them at a moments notice. While her left arm still remained at her side, still holding the senbon. She was getting ready for a predator to jump out and attack the man at any moment. She was ready for a fight. Yuki watched the edge of the clearing very carefully, awaiting to see what would come out behind the man.

To Yuki's amazement, it was only a tiny girl, Yuki assumed that this girl didn't even clear 4 feet she was so tiny. Yuki let out a sigh of relief as she wouldn't have to jump into a flurry of combat just yet. She couldn't believe that a girl that small would attack someone quiet a bit larger than her, but she would stand here and keep a close watch on this scenario to see how it would play out, and if a battle may ensue. Until then she figured the she should probably get into a better position, so with her senbon still in hand she would use her supernatural walking practice once more and climb the tree with just her feet. Going up several feet she sat down on a branch that had quiet a bit of cover, but it allowed her to view the entire clearing without having to crane her neck around the branch. However, there had been one fatal flaw in this move. When she sat down, she had sat down on a twig and snapped it in half. this might very possibly alert someone with keen enough ears, that could her the small sound of a twig snapping over the sound of a log continually being punched, of her presence. However, she didn't move after that. She didn't make a single move, or sound after that. From the brief training she had done with her family she had figured out that if given enough time, most people will doubt their own senses, instead of simply believing that the predator is more patient then they are. So once she had sat down, she didn't move a single muscles, and kept a steady eye on the clearing. She would keep an eye on the situation, and watch it as it developed. Possibly intervening, if it was necessary.

Away in the festival grounds in a corner were the camping area. In one of the various tents laid Jet in a large oval shaped waterbed. She tossed and turned in her sleep, sweat dripping down her forehead as her breath hitched every few seconds. A her nightmare reached a climax a hand grabbed her from the darkness and shook her awake. Jet woke up, grabbing the collar of whoever awaken her and pressed a kunai she grabbed from the bedside table inside her jacket against their neck. Colorful smoke was blown in her face before the person spoke "Didn't sleep well hm? Had a bad dream my little monster"

Jet recognized the voice which was enough for her to regain her senses. No longer feeling distorted she narrowed her mismatched eyes at Katsuo who just gazed at her with a bored look, not bothering to care for the deadly weapon pressing dangerously against his neck. Jet growled as she moved the kunai away from him; a thin line of crimson liquid slithered down to his collar bone as he did so. "Don't call us that" her voice was cold with venom dripping from her words. She did not like being awoken from her slumber for no reason regardless if she was having a nightmare or not. Strike one.

Katsuo tilted his head to the side, propping his head onto the palm of his free hand as he used  the thumb of his right hand, which held a hookah pen, to wipe the blood off. He rubbed it against his fingers looking at it intently before he turned his gaze back onto her; blue eyes with a indigo tint meeting red and green "What little? Well you can't say you aren't. I must not tell lies." Strike two. Taking a drag from the hookah pen, he continued as a rainbow smoke was exhaled from his lips "Oh no no that can't be it. Was it because I said you were mine, monster?" Strike three. The last set of words got him thrown off the bed by a swift kick to his gut by Jet with the heel of her right leg. Angrily she grabbed her jacket, goggles, shorts, and whatever she wasn't wearing and walked out of the tent but Katsuo made a quick recovery and swiftly grabbed her left arm. "C'mon I'm sorry I went too far. Why don't you say a little longer love?"

Jet threw his arm off as she sharply turned around smiling sweetly. For a moment Katsuo thought he was off the hook and went to wrap his arm around her waist thinking he could use this as a chance to bed her. Unfortunately for him it didn't go as planned. Looking as adorable and innocent as possible she used her free hand to reach for his collar. Katsuo figured she was going to kiss him so he closed his eye but instead of feeling her soft lips meeting his own he felt his face explode in pain as his collar was yanked down. He was about to fall back but Jet simply lowered her knee and slammed her right foot onto his feet and headbutted him as hard as she could. Distorted and in pain Katsuo fell to the ground. Jet giggled at this "We don't like trash hehe" With these words Jet skipped out of the tent.

After a couple minutes Jet arrived at the edge of the village, specifically at the outskirts, fully clothed and a tad cold. She snatched a bottle of orange sherbet sake from a random food stand and snipped it. As she walked she overheard a group of people talking about something she found a bit interesting. "Damnit I can't believe I lost out on 400ryo! Screw that scrawny flower bitch. What the hell was that sand user..." "Suteki" his friend continued for him. "Yea Suteki think she was doing! Heck how did she even make it to genin" The ranter's friend rolled his eyes, knowing fully well that genin were not to be underestimated. "Satoshi we all know that chick could take you down without even using her sand" another commented. The man she now knew was Satoshi grumbled and puffed out his chest "I got hair on my chest! And do you see these muscles I got from working at the site? Tch I could snap her like a twig" His friends looked at him for a moment before they all started laughing, a couple mumbling in agreement.

Jet felt bitter inside and quickly took a swing of her sake. She didn't know why but when they insulted her teammate it angered her however slightly. One half of her believed that it was because she thought of Suteki was a comrade. The other half believed it was because she was a toy of hers and that only she could mess with her. She felt conflicted but none the less it wouldn't do to dwell on it. The last few weeks have been more than a headache for her. She was in deep in thought that she didn't notice that when she tossed the half empty bottle of sake that it hit Satoshi right in the middle of his forehead, slipping the warm alcohol all over his forehead. "Oops..." Satoshi grew red in the face and went to swing at Jet but she hopped back one step avoiding the punch and giggled. "Hehe wow you look redder than a Uchiha's sharigan" Satoshi's friends were laughing at him until he punch one of them in the face. "What the hell was that for man?!" "Don't you dare laugh at me" The two were about to go at it but a man with brown hair and a bandanna stepped between them. "Guys guys calm dow-" he grunted when he was pushed aside, knocking some people down and now everyone was fighting each other.

Jet wanted to face palm at the stupidity of this but shrugged it off. She got bored of being around these idiots and decided to wander around the forest. Though whilst in the forest she felt a bit antsy so she could her eyes and let her feet guide her. When she finally opened her eyes she realized that she mustn't been walking for hours by the position of the sun. She looked at her surroundings and concluded she was.....lost. Now whilst most people would panic at this Jet took this in great stride, excited at the prospect of exploring. So this is what she did. She spent the next few minutes hopping from tree to tree, trying to find something or someone interesting. It was till ten minutes later did she hear the thump of wood being whacked. Curious she got closer till she made it near a clearing. A couple feet from her was you guessed it...Suteki. Suteki, from what Jet concluded was the one causing the sound but it didn't take her long to follow the sand user's gaze to a silver hair man? A very attractive silver haired man....perhaps....her lover! Wait eh no. Jet realized the man didn't acknowledge her nor did she have a lovesic- Or maybe she's stalking him! Smirking slyly she hopped down from the tree without making a sound and stepped behind Suteki. Carefully she bent down to the girl's ear and yelled "Rawrrrr!" Jet said it with such force she was bound to have scared the wits out of her little teammate.

Muscle memory. A skill acquired from doing the same repetitive motion over and over again to the point where muscles have committed the movement, and sometimes the appending feeling, to memory. Muscles fibers and nerves ends become accustom to during the singular or multiple actions, and executing the action without the brain consciously aware of it. There has been some cases in the Elemental Nation where Taijutsu specialist reached a point where during training their brain doesn't register the strain that comes from rigorous workouts; the pain receptors having temporarily shut down during the workout. While the cases of this have been rare, few and far between, it's something that some Taijutsu enthusiasts dream of being able to accomplish one day. Nanashi being a prime example of them.

The idea of being one of the few who pain receptors shut down during training,  allowing a person to go beyond their body limited without succumbing to the pressure brought on by the body's unwillingness to cross that particular threshold, a self defense mechanism, would be a magnificent for him. Of course the prospect of achieving it not only calls out towards his Taijutsu enthusiast side but also his medical profession. It could lead to some breakthroughs in the medical field that could potentially help others. While the possibilities of finding out what chemical in the body caused the muscles to memory a certain action, and temporary shut off pain receptors, was a riveting topic they must all be pushed back to the furtherest crevasse of his mind for there were more important things to focus on now.

And it had nothing to do with the current audience who only showed up a few minutes ago. During the throes of hitting the human size logged, the once white roped tied around it now dingy and pinkish from blood, his senses barely picked up on another presence that wasn't of the animal variety within range of his current location.  His strikes didn't lessen nor waver as the human got closer to the location before stopping on the outskirts of his sensory ranges, and appear to watch him work out. The thought of someone watching him didn't bother Nanashi at all, not like he would be using any secretive techniques or anything. The log would just continue getting the mercilessly beating that been going on for hours. Whoever it was would soon get tired of seeing him during the same thing over and over again before getting up and leaving. At least that's what he thinks.

Thump.

Left jab. Right cross.  Feet squared evenly, hips twisting adding the needed torque, and left fist speeding towards the log like a bullet, connecting and snapped back up to guard his left side simultaneously the opposite fist having connected with the log. Tsk. His taijutsu style didn't focus on boxing, only cooperating a little bit here and there. His style focused on . . . lightning struck in the form of his right leg landing three consecutive strikes, low, mid. and high, on the log ending with a downward elbow strike. His style focused on kicking and elbows. Of course there was more to it than that, but the rest is just some fancy stuff and now the core of his style.

The stingy in his hands, and elbows caused him to pause momentarily and take stock in the given limbs. A stoic face looked at his bloodied hands, crimson essence flowing from open cuts, splinters sticking out of some of the same cuts, the white bandages around each having been ripped away during the constant strike. Taking a small breather, he began to task of removing the splinters and using medical chakra to heal of the cuts. This was repeated for both limbs and elbows, the latter not being as bad as the former.

Having finished healing the minor injuries, Nanashi moved towards a rather large boulder fifteen meters or so east of the training log, and picked up the bottle of water sitting beside his Iwa headband and the shirt portion of black training gi that he's wearing. Having quenched his thirst, Nanashi moved back towards the training log and was about to start training again till a shout was heard.

Head snapping in the general direction of the sound, lone eye zoning in on the one who made it, Nanashi noticed how his audience had grown by one. Where had the second one come from? Had he been so focused on training that he didn't sense her? Or did they poised such a little threat that they didn't register on his radar? No matter the reason for his lack of seeing them, Nanashi was now in company of two individuals. All girls. . .

Speaking of the girls, Nanashi studied each one with little to any interest in their figure but rather on anything that made them stand out, and give away what village they were from. It didn't take long before figuring out that all three were affiliated with Iwagakure, their headbands giving it away.

"It has been sometime since I been in the presence of the younger generation of Iwagakure shinobi. It's good to know that they are still producing quality shinobi. You had a good match. Don't let the defeat bother you, instead learn from it. " The last statement geared towards the female who had first enter the clearing "That goes for all of you. Defeat can be the best of teachers at times, so learn from them."

Looking at all them caused Nanashi to remember his former students, Alessi, Saiyuki, and her, but instead of a group of three it was two this time around. These memories were both good and bad, bring forth emotions of happiness, sadness, and in some cases regrets. How long has it been since he had seen any of them? Dismissing those thoughts for later,

"Seeing your curious looks, I'm assuming you are wondering who I am? I'm Guanyin Nanashi, Jounin of Iwagakure. " Having introduced himself to the three. It wouldn't be surprising that they would notice the Anbu sigma on his right bicep, him still being topless, wearing only the black gi pants and footwear. Could there be consequences for them seeing the tattoo? Maybe, but it didn't phrase him much.

"So what is a squad during out here? And where is your sensei?" Nanashi  mistaken them in being a two man  squad who was here to meet their sensei or something. It's the only logical explanation he had for two girls all from Iwa being in the same location.

He didn't have no problem in sharing the training area. It being around seventy-five meters in diameter, boulders of different sizes littered about, training post sporadic spread out, and a small waterfall leading into a pond finished the area off.

Yes, the training ground was big enough to share.

Pity, he didn't realize that there was a third member to this party.

The man continued to train, noticing that he took very little interest in her presence.  It seemed he was busy and though didn't mind her being their, would rather of not acknowledge her existence at all.  Either that or he was too focused on his current task to notice at all.  She could tell he was a shinobi, or a want-a-be at the very least, at his age punching logs.  But to not notice her noisy entrance, he must have been a want-a-be or perhaps he failed the Chuunin Exams?  At his age, and still a genin...  In the distance she heard a branch break, she looked over in the direction, but hadn't seen anything.  Perhaps an echo from behind her or otherwise?

She was just about to leave the area, losing interest as she noticed he started to examine his wounds and she could just make out them starting to heal.  So he was a shinobi?  Medical Ninjutsu and Taijutsu were his skills. She got a better view as the man walked across the field, she could see that the person training was a male, of much older age than she.  Though what was of greatest interest was the tattoo on his shoulder.  She stepped back, now worried about the man before her, and watching him.  He knew she was their, without a doubt in her mind.  He was playing it quite calmly for a reason.  She uttered under her breath, "Shit, assassination and tactical squad?  What the hell is an ANB,".  Behind her, a voice screamed out and she jumped forward, pulling the corks off of her gourd, dropping them as they turned to dust and drew her hands forward, turning around to defend herself.  She recognized the figure quickly, "Damn, Jet..  What the hell!"  If the man hadn't known they were their before, he sure did now.  She was still panicking about the man behind her, and now given the presence of Yuurei Jet, this might just lead to something a little less..stable.  Let alone general expections, Jet easily caused situations to become eccentric with ease.  If not for the situation, she would have been thrilled to see her though.  She had high hopes of seeing her squad cheer her on during the Chuunin Exams, though hadn't heard from them for most of it.  Though, perhaps that was for the best given the results.

That echo, perhaps his partner was nearby?  She turned back towards the ANBU, practically keeping her stance in place.  She didn't expect to be able to escape the man in front of her, and than the other person could be anywhere by now.  The man began to speak and she held her hand out near her gourd, ready to draw the sand out and fight.  Her body was tense, easily noticeable that she was ready to fight.  The man spoke to her and Jet, and than started to talk about her match.  Than adding that defeat was a good lesson or some such.

She was expecting an imminent attack now, more so than before.   His words perhaps a foreboding of something to come from him is how she took those words.  The sand sloshed out from her gourd faster than she had done before, drawing an immense amount in seconds from the two large holes, drawing behind Jet and around herself, though allowing for escape behind if needed.  She wanted to seem threatening to the man.  She knew he would at least be Jounin, maybe higher, and he knew she was a genin and what she was capable of.  She was at a huge disadvantage.  Even adding in Jet's abilities, they wouldn't stand much of a chance most certainly.  They barely managed against their sensei back prior to the exams.  "Piss off sir!" She spoke loudly, easily being heard by him, and anyone nearby.

Suteki still didn't know that he was from Iwagakure.  The ANBU insignia internationally used by all the shadow villages.  Perhaps he was from Takigakure, though the thoughts of how safe the country were, and him being apart of it never occurred to her.  She was sure he was from some other country, and probably out to capture or kill others from different villages while they were here.

The man introduced himself as a figure she had heard of once or twice in Iwagakure.  Guanyin Nanashi, the Pestilence.  Using such a known figure didn't have any affect on her stance.  The sand around them seeming alive, swirling and rotating around between herself and the guy ahead.  Though he seemed calm natured and friendly, she still wasn't assured of him.  She had heard horror stories about ANBU from her uncle, and kept wise to his possible intentions.  After all, her parents were done in by them as well.

He continued to speak to them, asking why a squad was out here, and where their sensei was.  If he was trying to calm her fears, he was doing a horrible job of it.  Asking such a thing would only deepen her aggression.  Perhaps if slightly calmer, she would have responded, retorted in such a way to dismay him from attacking, but she was to overcome with aggression and fear to do so right now.  Yuurei Jet would certainly get the ball rolling on that end.

Thump. Thump. Thump. The man continued on training, without even a bother as the girl entered the clearing. did he know she was there? how could he not? she had made the worlds nosiest entrance ever. maybe he was so absorbed in his training that he some how didn't hear her? that was entirely possible. Either that or he was deaf. Yuki watched the man with increasing interest as he continually punch, kicked, and elbowed the log. Although from the looks of it, it was causing him some damage as well. The rages he had been using to cover himself up were now in shredded completely, and thus so were his arms, legs, and elbows. He was bleeding pretty badly, until finally he paused. Then he began to slowly heal his wounds back up. So a medical ninja? That was the only logical explanation that Yuki could come up with. Then he began to walk towards her. No way. Could he have figured out her location by the simply snapping of a twig? it wasn't possible. that sound should have echoed, at least disturbing the sound enough that it wouldn't have given her exact location. Was he going to kill her for disrupting his training? No that was unlikily either. Surely he would have gone after the girl that was in the clearing, that had made such a loud entrance.

Yuki let out a small sigh of relief as he stopped to take a drink of water. After which he returned to his training post, but right before he began again there was a loud yelling near the other girl. Yuki's center of attention turned, now there was another girl there. This situation was getting more and more interesting by the minute. She heard a male voice begin to talk, and assumed it was the male with silver hair complaining that the two were messing up his training, and didn't really listen to him. However her interest peaked when she saw sand begin to swirl around the smaller girl, what was she doing attacking him? well if this was a fight, that should be fun, and it seemed that the two girls were friends so that left the odds against the older Medical ninja, And besides was it really fair to attack a man just for wanting some privacy? Yuki knew that this was her cue to enter the scene. The overwatch needed to intervene.

she threw the Senbon in her Right hand at the Sand girl, 1 aiming for the neck, the other to aiming for each of the soft spots in her shoulders. Then she leaped out of the tree branch. She would land on a large rock, halfway between her and the Silver haired man, then she used that rock as a pushing off point, and did a flip, while she was twisting in the air, she would throw her other 3 senbon, 2 aiming for her windpipe, and the last one aiming for her stomach. then she would land on her feet and slide a little bit until she was stationed right in between The Sand girl and the Silver haired man. Her Eyes had changed to black with a purple pupil when she had climbed up the tree, so this would be the eyes that were staring directly at the sand girl. She would then pull out her kunai and take a defensive stance. She was ready for this battle to begin. u to this point she had blatantly ignored everything that had been said. other than the small girl telling the silver haired man to piss off, which seemed quiet rude to her, and the silver haired man Give his name rank and Village.

Yuki smiled, she had taken the side of a Jounin from her home village. This seemed in her favor. until she got a full look over her opponents, and they were Iwa ninja too. what on earth was going on here? well nothing that Yuki could change now. she had committed to her actions and that was that. she was ready.

There are so many things to be happy about in life. The freedom to run around causing heart attacks. The sight of pathetically weak foes falling to your knees. Pandas for being universally known to be the most non-racist thing ever; being black white and Asian. But the most absolutely wonderful thing in life to enjoy in all its splendor is humor. Humor truly brought the fun into the dullest of situations. Of course there are many different types of humor. Some churlish other sadistic but humor is humor regardless of purpose and execution. Sometimes its harsh whereas it brings a smile onto another face. Heck laughing even helps you life longer. Why does nobody realize those depressing emotional downright agonizingly 'numb' people don't live long?! Because they don't know how to have a good time! We are on the clock forever and always. This is no such thing as being immortal. Rather immortal is a poor word to use. When people think of something immortal they think of someone or something that can't die and will live forever without worry for sickness or mortal wound. To be immortal is to be simply ageless not deathless. There is no immortality for all things born must die. That which is built will fall and be destroyed. Nothing is eternal except time. Time will lessen and it will lengthen. It will never disappeared but merely be revised and forgotten. So with this in mind we have to make use of the time.

Which is why when Jet dies she wants to go out with a bang. Laughing hysterically with borderline madness, taking her death in stride after a most epic fight and greeting whatever is left after death like an old friend. Faithful to her beliefs Jet stumbled back a few steps, clutching her stomach that ached with poorly subdued laughter. Her teammate's  reaction was just priceless. Ah she wish for a camera right now as memorabilia."Hehehe ne Sandy-chan you should've seen your face!" she was able to momentarily stop her laughter as she grinned "We wanted to say hello to our kawaii sand castle~ Ne you aren't mad we didn't show ourselves to you after you match. It was so fun fun fun. Hehe we wish we could play too! So many pretty things!" It was then Jet felt more eyes, which she expected, on her though the addition of another pair aside from the silver haired medic. Yet there was the issue of the extra pair which she didn't feel on her but rather on Suteki.

A million questions ran through her head as the man first spoke, giving some reassure to Suteki who lost her match against the flower user. Silver hair. Good looking. Practicor of taijutsu (perhaps kickboxing? With some judo? Boxing definite factor though the kicks are throwing us of a bit) Medic as well. And that scar. He sounds familiar...where have we heard of him. Suteki's outburst interrupted her thoughts but only for a moment. While Jester found Suteki's tense attitude and frankness it was unwise to go against an ANBU regardless of the fact that he's from there village. While Jester personally had no qualms with her teammate dying it would be rather troublesome and risky. She didn't want to go through the trouble of getting a new team nor be question why and how did she allow her teammate engage in such a foe. While the 'annoying idiot' act did get her out of a few cases, it would not work all the time. The longer she can keep her appearances up the better. Besides though she has a keen mind she  knew she did not posses the skills to take the jounin down.

Wait a minute...with the reveal of the man's name everything made sense. Hm, it was rather interesting to find the Pestilence of Iwagakure here in Takigakure of all places. He was probably here to partake in the festivities and watch the Chuunin Exams unfold which intrigued her. He had no reason to concern himself with mere genins. And he didn't have a squad or anything similar of the sort with him because of his rather colorful past. Besides the man was not fit to be a teacher as his former students so blatantly showed. For a moment Jet thought about telling Suteki that this man was not an enemy but rather another iwa shinobi but she'd rather let her teammate figure this out on her own.

When asked about their reason for being here Jet giggled and hugged Suteki's waist from behind, her head resting gently on the girl's head as she looked at Nanashi playfully. "It's just us. Sensei is away on personal business so we came to Taki to have fun Mister Nana-chan. We're rathe-" however before she could finish her sentence she felt some rather malicious intent. As she predicted whoever e- ok a black haired girl with red eyes, intended to harm Suteki with sebons. Jet could have use a raiton jutsu to get rid of the sebon but she had a better plan in her head. Pushing Suteki onto the ground Jet had faith that the sand would catch the sand or at least some of them. Should they not and simply pass through she would follow up by whichever of her four plans that seemed the best upon ever crossing that bridge. Yet because she decided not to retaliate just yet, she could tell whether or not they were working together. Though it was obvious they were not. From Nanashi's attire he has been here for hours and was probably not aware of the girl's existence. The question remained, why was this girl (upon further observation an iwa nin) attacking Suteki for no reason? Possibly to win points with one of Iwa's elite regardless of reputation as it seemed she was genin or chuunin ranked though Jet went with the former. Aw this was going to prove to be an interesting day.

The serpent gaze of Nanashi bored into the females a front of him with the uttermost boredom. Looking up them as if they were nothing more than insects. A mere speck of dust, holding not a single significant purpose in life. But what the gaze so terrifying was the fact that not a single malicious emotion danced across it, in fact, one would have the distinct impression of him being welcoming those in front of him. That the man was actually happy to be in their presence, and not bothered by the fact that they messed up his training.

Of course only a select few would be able to see behind this facade that had been mastery crafted throughout the years. The number of times which it had to be reforged after being broken, a young Nanashi got uppity with a high paying client who wanted a little more than a conversation with the boy. Harden through the hell of having others ravaging his body and being forced to deal with it like a good little geisha. . . a good little slut. And once again cracking at the deaths of those who he called sisters at the hands of clients who couldn't accept a single 'no'. There isn't a number  for the times which the  mask was reforged, before ending up at it's current product, and even if there was it would be innumerable. Yes this was a mask on the most perceptive individuals can gleam behind it and see a foggy representation of the man behind it.

Can't you feel something wrong?

There comes a unique sixth sense gifted to those who are sociopaths, homicidal, psychopaths, those who are out-kilter. This sense is also prominent in most shinobi. The majority having one or a few of the mentioned mental illness due to their extensive stay in their current profession; no shinobi survives this profession without picking up a few of them along the way, it's what keep them 'sane enough'. The sense allowed them the ability to noticed when something is amiss. They can identify tell-tale signs of someone being more than they appear to be. But more importantly they know when they are dealing with a predator. A monster who given the opportunity would rip them to asunder. It's the animalistic ability to know when you are a front of a killer. You know those times were you are nervous greeting someone for no apparent reason? Or the times were you subconsciously look over your shoulder, believing someone was either there or was following you? These signs are your ability at work. . .

Guess no -- Oh! Seems like you can.

The comment from the ankle biter didn't phrase him at all having heard worse from family, nor did the Jounin feel threaten by the accumulating sand. If anything the sand would be a minor nuisance, having to clean it out of his pants and other places.

"I applaud you for being the first to act when faced with an unknown scenario." They were quick and to the point but left no room for a rebuttal from the girl "However, I laugh at your stupidity. You still threaten to attack me after hearing my rank and where my loyalties lie. Why? Do your not believe I'm Anbu or that I'm apart of Iwagakure no sato? Or do you doubt my words, therefore, believing everything I said was false and that you could beat me? No, the latter isn't true is it? The way your sand has formed a meager barrier around you and miss minty suggest in a belief that your partner would be inclined to help you, right?" At this his gaze fell on the green haired, staring into her eyes, a silent message between the two being passed.

Smart Move . . .

Now isn't that funny. The most off kilter of the duo was the one who figured out who he was. Not only that, they understood how stupid it would be to attack someone from their own village. And just maybe they came to the realization of the man a front of them was something more deadlier. A monster that were lurking just below the surface waiting for it's chance to play. Yeah, just maybe she would recognize this and reel in the ankle biter before she bite off more than she could chew.

The sound of movement gave the other audience member away, Nanashi being able to pin-point their location with a little difficult, but did nothing to look in their general direction. Instead he watched with some interested as the five senbon were launched at the ankle biter, slicing through the air with purpose. It had been some times since he seen anyone, asides from himself and a certain Kumo Guanyin, use senbons in an offensive manner, so whoever have threw them certainly got his interest peak.

His gaze fell the individual who had attack the ankle biter, and was now in a defensive stance a front of him. This individual, a girl if her long hairt and feminine frame was anything to go by, had chose to defend him instead of working along side the other two. An intriguing choice they made. There wasn't any need for him to be protected. Though the choice to do so was admirable and would be reward, if Nanashi was a normal person.

For awhile Nanashi didn't say anything, allowing the sounds of nature and the rustling of sand being the only noise within the area. During this time his thoughts were toying with a number of ideas that he could do in this situation, some of them more unpleasant than others.

The man were bored. There is only so many punches, kicks, knees and elbows one give to an inanimate objected before the entire routine becomes a redundant task. You knew that every strike would connect without resistance for the object, unless mechanize, wouldn't move from it's stationary position. Your mind eventually realize this, focusing somewhere else, and making the whole exercise repetitive.

But when a sparring partner or partners is added to the mix, training becomes more exciting. Your brain is more active than coming up with scenarios to ensure your punches and kicks will land with the uttermost force. And when the symphony of flesh hitting flesh occurred. The feeling you get would be one of pleasure, and it was that feeling which Nanashi now to desire. But the question is, would he succumb to it?

Not yet. . .

It started out as merely a tingle, going unnoticeable by most, but slowly it began t build into an annoying prickle on the back of theirs necks before falling on them for force. Like a plague, Nanashi's killer intent descended upon the area with vengeance. Luckily for them he only used enough to get their attention.

"Now that everyone is here. Can we all calm down and act like adults?"His words cutting through the silences "Or do you still want to act like little children?" Moving between the pair, Nanashi attempt to pluck the kunai from his defender's hand only to twirl it around and handed it back to her, handle first.

"There is no need for that." His gaze fell upon the green haired girl "You with the green hair. Can you tell me your name and that of your friend? Seeing how you seem to be the brains between the two."

Akira, the Tsuchikage, had caught wind of Squad 3 leader being an ineffective sensei, barely teaching the squad anything. With the fact in mind he decided to issue a new sensei to the squad. A sensei who has only returned to Iwa's a few months ago and was currently in Takigakure. So, unbeknownst to Nanashi and the three girls, a messenger nin was making his way to their location with a scroll that would change their future.

It had seemed her friend had seen the match, and just hadn't made contact with her.  This didn't sit well with the girl, but she wasn't focused on that at this time, more so on the blanked faced man before them.  She turned back to him focusing, her sand seeming to creep closer and closer to him at an extremely slow mind numbingly worthless pace.  She was cautious in going after him, still unsure if it would amount to much. The man was calm, talking in a very nonchalant manner.  She listened to his words, then as he said "Do you not believe I'm Anbu or that I'm apart of Iwagakure no sato?", Suteki wanted to interject, speaking about the part where he said "The apart of Iwagakure no Sato." Piece, but she didn't need to inferiate him into attacking.  There still was a chance he might leave them be, which is why she hadn't sent her sand to attack.  She didn't know the man, and he had provided no proof to the contrary besides naming a figure whom was well known throughout the shinobi world.  Besides that, he wasn't attacking just yet.

He asked why they were here, and Jet was at no loss of words to explain in her normally cheerful attitude.  Though before she could finish Suteki was pushed from behind by Jet, skidding to a stop and looking back.  She wasn't sure of the action, being extremely surprised at the action of her ally.  She would than see several senbon come into play, passing through her sand, slowing almost to a crawl as they did so.  Even at those speeds, they might pin prick but not enough to stick into somebody.  They had been aimed for where she had just been standing.  She looked for whom had thrown them and found her in a tree some distance away.  The girl jumped and landed in front of them man, in a defensive position between them.

The man seemed to be surveying the area, not taking any actions, and barely surprised by the arrival of the girl.  She pushed off the ground getting up, while watching the girl and thinking of Jet's words.  Perhaps she knew the man, than again, she always seemed to be in that state of mind of hers, pleasant and unaware, though her last actions proving otherwise.  Suteki was now standing, and spoke softly so that only Jet would hear, "Thanks for the rescue."  She lifted her hand as some of her sand would rush to the girl grasping around her body.

Inconsequential:

In this situation, she didn't care to much about it's inaccuracies.  It's incapable ability to be depended on in certain situations.  The girl in front of her attacked, and she had an overwhelming urge to repay the dept, and catching the mans ally.  Unlike those at the exams, these two she saw as enemies to give no ground to.  She had planned to gravely injure her first opponent, but not outright killing him.  But here, she had no misgivings.  Given the range, the attack would be sift as the sand began to take a greater sense of life.  A large pile whipped from the side and above, heading straight for the girl at 20mp/s, reachign the girl almost instantaneously.  It would at first look like a large hand reaching out for her, just to turn into a gasping mouth to bite into her.  The sand split slightly at the last moment, and would be aimed for her neck, left arm, and torso.  Though just as the sand was about to grasp the girl, it stopped just inches away.  In the short moment she had gotten up, spoken and launched the attack, she had regained some composure to notice the girl had an Iwagakure headband on her leg.  It held it's place for a moment than dropped to the ground melting into a pile.  The rest of the sand that was around seemed to follow suit, falling in a similarly beautiful sound of rain like clamor.

It seemed she had made a great error.  His ally was from Iwagakure, an ally to her as well in all rights.  She had misread the situation horribly and was about to, would have, made a great mistake.  What would have happened if the sand had squeezed the life out of the girl from Iwagakure.  She was now enthralled in the moments thoughts to notice anything else around her.  She knew the kage Akira wasn't one to hold back against those that broke the rules.  Remembering back to the man who's wrist and face he had broken for trying to threaten some random guy, not even from their village, within the diplomatic home land here in Takigakure.  What would he have done if he found out she was about to do to one of their own?  Her face, once holding anger, grew dim of any emotion.  She turned her face downwards as she thought of the situation she was now in.

An omen of ill will descended on the area, perhaps influencing her negative thoughts of possibilities, with that of the vague intent being felt from by the man.  His voice popping her out of the bubble she was within, skewing the thoughts she was having.  She hung onto his words, expecting to hear something along the lines of 'reporting your actions to Akira'.  He went between herself and the unknown girl, as he asked for their names.  She looked back at Jet, her face slightly telling her to not tell him.  Or rather a hope that she wouldn't, but she expected her to enthusiastically speak to whom she labeled as the ill mannered man with good intentions, Guanyin Nanashi.  She though back onto the situation from the start to now.  Nanashi had, with his comment, meant to instill a teaching with his words, but she, still upset at the results, and perhaps from the lack of commiseration from her squad, knew that something was to be learned, and felt his words were a form of insult on her intelligence and ability.  Along with the lack of knowledge that he was from Iwagakure, and with his half smile, felt it had to have meant to be such.

When Yuki landed she looked up to see that the sand girl had been pushed over by her friend. Yuki bite her lip. damn, she shouldn't have made such a flashy entrance. oh well nothing could be done about it now. she stood up straight and put her kunai in her pouch. just then the smaller girl pushed off the ground and then she lifted her hands. Yuki instantly formed Koton chakra in her body and then used it to create a thick sheet of amour around her. this amour would appear almost instantly, out of thin air before everyones eyes, and Yuki hadn't moved a muscle. nor did she even flinch when the stand stopped before her. In fact she had been prepared to take the full might of that blow. This could have been a fun fight after all. a challenge certainly. However her entertainment was short lived. the sand stopped and the man moved between them. an ill feeling succumbing the area. the hair on the back of Yuki's neck began to stand at the feeling of it. Yuki wondered if this was his doing. She felt him Grab the Kunai out of her pouch, twirl it around and then slip it back in, as he spoke. Yuki simply nodded her head in response to him, and her armor began to crumble and turn into dust as she stopped apply chakra to it. Following him close, as her armor fell off and crumbled with each step that she took. After he finished speaking she walked up to the smaller girl, whom she noticed had an Iwa headband on, as well as the other girl, and stuck her hand out."No hard feelings?" she asked in a calm and kind of cheery voice, as she gave an eye smile to the much smaller girl. If the girl would shake hands with her, she would then open her eyes to reveal her Black eyes with a purple pupil, which most people thought was strange considering most normal peoples pupils were black, and she would say "My name is Uriko, Yuki it is nice to meet you." then she would turn to the green haired girl and say "It's nice to meet you as well."then she would turn around and sort of fall in line with the other two girls, all facing Nanashi now.

However, this didn't mean the Yuki had let down her guard. not by a long shot. she was still very alert, and ready for anything that could happen from any of the people surrounding her. in fact she was so on edge that she began to pool Koton Chakra into her right arm in case she needed another defense in a mere moments notice. She glanced over and noticed her senbon, so she walked over an picked them up, putting them back in their correct pouches before falling back in line and facing nanashi once more. that eery feeling was still in the air, and Yuki wasn't sure what to make of it, but she could definitely tell that it was coming from the man standing before her now. it was an intimidating feeling, and even though Yuki wasn't scared of much, a little bit of fear began to prick at her, but she would simply ignore it for now, until it became something more threatening to her. Then Yuki's mind began to wander, She had been in Iwagakure for long, so this would explain her not knowing anyone around her, and what she should have known, was lost to her simply not paying attention. she was mostly a stranger around Iwa, and had kept quiet through most of the academy, only now that she had recently became a genin did her personality once emerge again. She would have been invisible to most, just some one in the back round, making it highly unlikely that anyone else here would have recognized her either, but she was here now, and so she decided that she was going to stick around for awhile and see what was going to unfold.

It seems Jet was correct in believing the sands would do their job and keep the sebon from being a threat and giggled as she nodded at Suteki “Always friend” Thinking about it…well unless they were controlled with chakra strings or the jutsu, ninja art: tile shuriken. However seeing as no such action was taken, she left the sebon along however she did not forget about them since they were still weapons and she herself could use them in case this 'surprise' attack became anything more. This would be best however Jet was still very much on edge though it was unnoticeable, barely there. It disappointed her to see Suteki to freeze up along with the girl after realizing the mistakes they’ve made but ironic at the same time. Jet knew what Suteki thought of her and her eccentric persona, figuring she would be the one to get tensions high, get the crazy train moving. Some would be offended but in fact Jester was amused. She wondered just how far she could push her little teammate, to see how riled up she can be. Ah what fun hehe. We wonder if she has any phobias. If not we could always cook something up for her.

Despite having seemingly sedated her blood thirst a couple weeks ago with the Crimson Devil, iwa's own senju, during a fight between gangsters in the festival grounds. Oh how that escalated quickly. She could still hear the anguished cries of her enemies, still feel the cool touch of their blood being spared in her face, the adrenaline pumping through her views. Oh that glorious high she got from fighting, from watching the light dimming in another, snuffed out by her very own hand.  What's surprising more the senju   seemed to have had as much fun as she did, a beast like her. Perhaps more. It was...nice...if that was the proper term...to have someone like that around. Keeping up this facade and acting as if she wasn't a former serial killer with quite the body count. It was a bonding experience of sorts. Remembering the senju gave Jester a warm feeling in her chest. After that ordeal the two of them hit it off though he saw her more as a child than some almost his age, even going to say as to act borderline fatherly towards her which was at first annoying, having brought some unpleasant memories of her own disgusting pig of a father; yet after a while she didn't mind it as much.

Though she wasn't quite sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. In their line of work, it was difficult...dangerous even, to get close to anyone. One moment they are your friend until they come at you with a kunai, your defense down and betrayal in your heart as you see them for what the truly. With her past, Jet didn't have much faith in humanity. In her eyes this world was anything but beautiful yet she supposed it was humanity's fault. A wise man once said 'Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe'

Still Jet had to keep her wits about her though she wasn’t quite sure about the others. Suteki wasn’t the brightest bulb around and her ‘sparky’ attitude definitely got her into trouble though it was amusing all the same. The look in the black eyes…weren’t they red before? Odd….showed that she was indeed mischievous though not as peppery like her teammate but can’t judge a book on its cover eh. Nanashi was the only real concern though from how he acted, it seemed Suteki’s words barely phased him. Yet that in itself was not strange. With a reputation like his, a renowned medic known for his rotting jutsu and moniker, the Pestilence of Iwagakure, most people did not have the kindest words to describe him, in fact for people like them it was almost like a whole new dictionary was created just for that purpose though the insults were getting a bit generic, though his moniker was more unique than most, definitely more creative than Bloody Jester. His history intrigued her and she wondered just who Guanyin Nanashi was. Perhaps she should try to get to know him better through this little chat hehe.

Jet stood unaffected by the killing intent the cursed medic leaked. She had long been used to worse conditions, like when the air became so suffocating she couldn't breathe and her skin turned into a rainbow, her life flashing before her eyes and her body pathetically shook in fear of her untimely death. This…was nothing compared to what she endured. Besides compared with what killing intent Nanashi was capable of leaking and what he was using, there was no cause for worry though Jester feared few things and he was not one of them. She was cautious yes but not afraid. No the man had not earned that. To make her, Jester, to feel fear and quake in it will be quite a feat that only one man has achieved, much to her dismay.

After disarming the former opponent, Nanashi had more or less calmed everyone down by cutting through the silence and looked towards once more, asking...well more like ordering that she give them their names. She ignored the fear that appeared in Suteki's eyes as they were nonsense. Akira was the last person she'd ever want to meet. She didn't have an issue per say with him but...oh who was she kidding the man was annoying and raised alarms. He had such a hatred for the underworld and all its dwellers. Imagine if he found out there were still some criminal organizations in the Stone country and her past. Her chances of escape would be slim. Doable but slim.

And her informants? It was difficult to get info without worrying about Akira breathing down people's neck. Speaking of information, there was practically nothing about Kazako Akira. The man appeared out of nowhere and took Iwa by storm. No one knew a thing about his clan, family, or past. The man kept all his dirty little secrets under lock and key. The man was paranoid that she was sure but for what reason. She suspected he was a nuke-nin but there was no such information. His looks were pretty generic, save for his gold eyes and his techniques nothing extraordinary. Powerful yes but not amazing. But enough about the troublesome kage, Jet needed to focus on the here and now. "We are Yuurei Jet and Sand castle here is Suteki Yaku. We make up what's left of Squad 3" When she finished she caught the girl on the corner of her eye wearing armor? When did that appe-oh now she recognized the technique. Being quite knowledgeable about clans and shinobi in general she concluded she was apart of or at least a distant relative of the Kongō, the man most known for their kekkei genkai Kōton, Steel Release. Following her introduction, the girl took it upon herself to follow suit after retrieving her sebon. Jet could tell she was still on guard even despite her aura.  Ah this became much more interesting.

He didn't seem to show much interest in the small confrontation taking place a front of him, seeing it as nothing more then a pointless squabble between children who lack discipline. His brow didn't show any indication of raising from it's stationary position at the performace from the black haired girl; nor did his stoic face show anything but neutrality at the display before him. The forming of a metallic armor, it shining appearance glistering in the afternoon sun, coating her body in the form of a full body suit, followed closely behind the slight build up of chakra the latter being the only warning of the forthcoming events.

Having been a shinobi for several years, this is the only third time that Nanashi had gotten to witness Koton in action. Sure he knew about the clan, but rarely did he have the opportunity of personally encountering one, with the two encounters prior to this one ended up with the Koton users' death. Pity those two had ended up hurting his sister, therefore, forfeiting their lives to the reaper. But that was in the past now and held little importance to the present.

When did Iwagakure no Sato get their hands on a Koton user? Sure, the clan is a scattered bunch with a few groups being nomadic in nature, living from place to place, while others settling down within most, if not all, of the major Hidden Villages, taking up work as blacksmiths and other occupation that takes advantage of their unique gift. As far he knew Iwagakure didn't have any shinobi Koton users, with the few scattered throughout the village being weapon shop owners and the likes. Maybe the girl was one of their kids? Or maybe she came to the village during his absent? Nanashi didn't know, but he planned on finding out once he has time to do so. But for now the thought of a Koton user being in Iwagakure's ranks was a pleasant, and welcoming one. The fact that it seems like she, at least her bubble butt and feminine figure suggested such a gender, was a genin level shinobi meant that she could be mould into something terrifying. The girl was a blank slate waiting for the right artist to come by and skillfully mould her, bringing out the latent potential that every shinobi had but only a few manage to grasp. Would Nanashi be that teacher?

No, while she might have piqued his interest a little, it didn't mean that he wanted to be saddled down with another genin squad. While the three before him did remind him of his former students, there still wasn't a chance of him becoming their sensei. Would he train them on his free time? Sure, but only because of his loyalty to Tsuchi no Kuni, and in his flickering desire to prepare the next generation for the turmoils ahead. Because there definitely will be some. . . he is positive.

With the girls having calmed themselves down, his killer intent playing a very minor role in it, Nanashi decided to focus his attention on the three of them. The lone citrine colored orb looked at each one of them with the same boredom as before. From what he could tell the three of them did had some form of training rather this was from a sensei or someone else couldn't be determine, but the way they now stood with alertness and slight tension meant that they had learned it from someone. One just doesn't develop such a reaction without being taught or placed in situations where one's life is always in jeopardy.

"What's left of Squad 3?" Nanashi didn't need them to answer for his statement was more rhetorical one. The way that Jet made it seem like they had somehow their third member and sensei. What could have happen to the pair that would leave only Jet and Yaku? Did they get killed with minty and the ankle biter being the only two surviving? Or did the sensei and third member leave the squad all together for whatever reasons? Tsk. No matter the reasons a sensei should never abandon the squad that they were placed in charges. The only time such an act is excusable is through death.

"What happen to your sensei and third member?" he asked, wanting to know more about the situation presenting itself at the moment. If their sensei and third member just up and left them, Nanashi will take up the mantle of training them on his time. Not there's but his. It would not be a squad, but rather just an experience shinobi tutoring two genins whenever it fancy them. Of course this will only happen if everything played out correctly. If they want to be train by someone like him, a Jounin known for not holding back against his students and almost killing a now certain chuunin, then so be it. He will humor them. He will make sure they had the necessities to survive this fucked up world with the only price being apart of their insanity. A small price to pay in the grand scheme of things.

Before things could advance any further the people within the clearing would be treated with an interesting site. There coming towards them was a giant of a man riding on top of an equally large but dangerously beautiful white polar. The massive bear roaring ferociously as it made a path to them before stopping a couple of meters away, and allowing the man to mount off.

Those within Iwagakure would instantly recognize the man as apart of the Kuma clan. A clan that specialize in Seijutsu with their companion being that of the bear species. This was the first time that Nanashi saw a member using a polar bear as their companion. Wasn't they more suited for more colder climates?

"Are you Guanyin Nanashi?"a nod was the given answer"This is a scroll from the Tsuchikage pertaining to Squad 3 and Uriko Yuki." Nanashi took the handed scroll and watched as the Kuma left the area.

Without wasting any time, Nanashi open up the scroll, his face not giving nothing away as he poured over the contents. "Catch." he stated, tossing the scroll to Yuki. He would give the three sometime to read the contents, pertaining to them now being Squad 3 with himself as their sensei all of this being authenticated with the Tsuchikage's signature, before making his own statement "Seeing how this has been thrust upon use unexpectedly our first team meeting will be held in Iwagakure two days after the Chuunin Exams. This will give me enough time to prepare a training regiment for you, and give you enough time to consider leaving the Squad. Well till then." Nanashi will leave the area, gathering his equipment and disappearing with a body flicker.

Fuck. . . he got a squad.

As the sand dropped from it's sprawling hand like display, the revelation of her opponent having prepared a defense was seen.  A silver iron clad figure now stood where the girl had been.  She used a defensive jutsu against a jutsu meant to bind an opponent.  Though her defense was quite quick, having only lost site of the girl for a moment as the sand attempted to swallow her whole, it would have protected her from the possibility of a mistake if the binding sand had squeezed to tightly.  How could she have prepared, lugged it around, and put it on so quickly?  As the girl stepped forward, the armor seemed to melt from her, similar to the sand had before.  'It was a jutsu?  What the hell kind of jutsu is that?' she thought, immensely surprised.  How strong was the armor?  It must have been a quick jutsu for her to miss it.  She might be able to learn something from this girl, perhaps even adept the jutsu to her own somehow.

The girl stepped towards her, arm reached out, and she seemed to apologize or rather in a friendly manner, make amends for her actions.  At the time, she saw no reason to hold the grudge, nothing happened this time.  Though, she was hesitant to shake the girls hands.  Her quick change of character, closed eyes and odd smile didn't bold well for the young girl.  Though slowly she reached her hand out and grabbed on, pulling her slightly downward as she grabbed a hold.  The girl kept her eyes closed as they shaked hands, than opened them, revealing eyes similar to her own, well color wise, but reversed.  Her eyes very different from most others, though Jet's were as well so it didn't bother her to much.

The girl than introduced herself, giving her full name.  She then turned to Jet and greeted her as well.  Suteki wasn't full of joy enough to return the introduction, thinking that these people are a little odd, thinking of Jet as well.  The girl joined them, going next to herself and turning towards Nanashi as he spoke.  The man than asked for their names, and Suteki nodded to Jet to not give him one.  Though Jet was plenty inclined to do just such.  Her odd characterization of Suteki's ability didn't make a splash with the girl, though she let it roll off her back, focusing on the man.  He commented on what she said, than was momentarily in thought before asking for an explanation.  She thought back to the fight, or rather, teamwork building montage moments.  The sensei, Raishi Kanetsu; the lava user leader.  The first time she met Jet, whom she thought was going to disappoint her during the workshop, but ended up working out quite well.  And than he Nara guy, whom took up space and had nothing to offer except a handicap that ultimately led to their loss.

She wouldn't regale the man with any information, letting Yuurei Jet deal with that cause.  She still didn't have a fondness for this guy, and probably never would.  She didn't like him, for several obvious reasons and some she was sure she couldn't pinpoint at the time.  If it had been the last time she met him, she would be quite accepting of the fact.

In the distance behind Nanashi, the young girl saw a bear running up towards him.  She remained unemotional, hoping that the bear would maul the man, though now she could see someone was a top the white beast.  A white bear, perhaps it was an albino bear, how rare.  Maybe he was attacking Nanashi, she hoped.  The bear stopped short of Nanashi as the man a top the beast jumped off and spoke.  He was sent for Nanashi, as he nodded than speaking about a scroll from Akira, pertaining to squad 3.  Her neutral face now turning to that of lost hope and dread.  She quickly put together the words Kage, Nanashi and squad 3 being uttered in the same sentence.  And Uriko Yuki, the girl next to her.

He read the scroll than tossed it to Uriko Yuki to read, giving her notice to catch.  The girl didn't want to read the scroll, her dread turning slowly to anger as the thought lingered.  If Yuki tried to hand her the scroll, she would grab it politely and for a moment hope it would burst into flames.  What she would have done for a Katon ability at that moment.  She didn't even look at it handing it over to Yuurei Jet immediately after.  Nanashi spoke about the first meeting being after the exams back home two days after.  He offered the option of leaving the squad, and hope glimmered in her eyes.  A slight smirk appearing as he turned away and vanished from site.

The girl with green hair spoke. telling nanashi, their names and remarking that they were what was left of squad 3. Yuki listened carefully as a conversation carried on between nanashi and jet? is that what she said her name was? what an interesting name. although from what yuki caught of her personality is certainly fit her. she seemed to have the energy of a jet engine. Yuki listened carefully as nanashi questioned them about what had happened to the rest of her team, but just then a man... wait what? Yuki rubbed her eyes unsure if her eyes were decieving her at this point. there was a man. yes. that she could be certain of, but the next part made absolutely no sense to her what so ever. this man she saw, was riding a polar bear. yes thats right. a. mother. fing. polar bear. questions zipped through Yuki's mind like. Where did this polar bear come from? what was it doing here? did it know it had a man on it's back? what was it doing here? shouldn't it be in a colder climate? why was it letting the man ride it? What in the hell was a polar doing anywhere south of freezing? logic seemed to have simply took a coffee break for the moment, and this was the outcome. a man. riding. a fucking polar bear. what. the. hell. Now as Yuki stood their stunned in amazement at this feat of nature she was witnessing before her eyes. Everyone else seemed to take notice of the fact that there was a man riding A POLAR BEAR! Holy hell did no one else seem to think this was in the slightest bit strange? Yuki glanced left and right to see people's reactions, but no one even seemed to care. it was like this was normal for them. Now Yuki wasn't raised in Iwa, in fact she had been in Iwagakure for a very very limited time, and hadn't actually had time to get her self familiarized with every clan in it. So she was completely oblivious to the fact that there was a clan in Iwagakure that specialized in combat with their bear companions, and obviously, this was one of its memebers. She listened intently as the man spoke to nanashi, saying he had a letter... about her? and squad three? she looked at the girls she stood in between once more. were they not squad three? this message was physically containing something about everyone that was here. this was either fate or coincidences, neither of which Yuki knew to believe in. She heard nanashi say "Catch" which brought her mind back from space. she barely managed to catch the scroll, but she did and then she read of the contents of it as well. They scrolled stated that she was to be assigned to squad three, and that the man standing before them was to be there sensei. this all to much to be a coincidence, But fate seemed like an unlikly thing. Her face gave away everything though, unlike nanashi. her mouth made an O as she read it over, before gently handing it to Suteki, who then handed it to Jet. Yuki waited for jet to finish reading it, reading it again, over jets shoulder. then once she finished she heard nanashi tell them about their first meeting, and that they had the option to quit. well quit wasn't a word in Yuki's vocabulary. She didn't really have a reason to continue trying to get stronger, but she figured their was benefit in it some where, and besides having a group of people to hang out with and be around, was more than enough reason to continue on the squad. She had made up her mind. She wasn't quitting. Once she saw nanashi poof into the air she squealed a little bit, from excitement of course. she turned and hugged jet "EEEKKK... i am sooo excited to get to be on a squad!" she then let go of jet and hugged suteki as well before letting her go, her hug with jet lasting longer, as she felt Suteki gave off more of a murder aura. then she spoke once more. "Well it was good meeting you girls, and i hope to see the two of you at our squad meeting, but until then, stay safe." then with that she made a once handed tiger seal, and poofed into the air. Her body flickering technique allowing her to travel at speeds untraceable to any eye, and carrying her away from there. she was excited.

Hell yeah, she had a squad

Jet wondered about the girl besides her, Yuki wasn't it, and Nanashi. This whole situation seemed too bizarre and consequential. What's the possibility of finding her teammate, a newbie to Iwa who uses Steel Release and finding the Pestilence of Iwagakure who surprisingly hasn't killed them. Sure meeting new people would be something obvious regardless of where you are but this...this doesn't happen. If anything it shouldn't have happened unless...perhaps fate was bringing them together. It seemed the most logical choice but for what reason, what purpose it there. Nanashi has no ties to her nor Suteki from what she has seen. He might've had some connection to Yuki but that thought was discarded as quickly as it came. And this was the first time the remnants of Squad 3 met Yuki as well...We wonder...

Several theories bubbled in the inner workings of her mind as she tried to shift the gears and put the abstract pieces of the puzzle together. From what she gathered this girl Yuki was most definitely new to Iwagakure for she didn't show any recollection of ever hearing Nanashi's morbid moniker and was unfamiliar to Suteki and by extension, Jet. Suteki, from what Jester gathered, has been a genin for quite some and therefore has met her own share of shinobi from her own rank and higher along with other characters. Also while Jet was relatively new to the Stone Village she was far from being uninformed...since they were on the subject of squads...perhaps. She came out of the daze she was in whenever she was thinking deeply and blinked at Nanashi's words but it was barely noticeable that she was caught off guard and was preoccupied with her thoughts since she was staring at the sky. And with a quick glance, confirmed it to be quite nice as one of the clouds looks like a flying mint bunny.

No focus! Jet scolded to herself. Jet leaned a bit on Suteki as she rubbed her chin as if she had a wizard beard and appeared to be thinking hard "Um...well Squad 3...couldn't really be called much of a squad. We never trained or went on missions together or did anything team-like at all aside from our first initial meeting. We had a sensei, Raishi a lava-user, and one other teammate named Ryouichi who was a Nara, a tuly lazy one at that. We spared and by the end of it, the Nara's illness acted up and our sensei who was injured with some more or less serve burns took him to the hospital and that was the last we heard of either of them."Jet paused as she contemplated what reason why she never saw her sensei again after their initial meeting."Sensei...if he can be called that since we didn't play school that much except how to play with others, might've gotten caught up in his own personal affairs something you may relate to we guess. Hehe maybe he went to Hawaii. I heard they have really really cool active volcanoes. He would've gotten a better tan and stuff which I'm sure Sand Castle here could appreciate" The last play came out playfully coy, having giggled towards the end.

"But" having remember what she heard about her former teammate and based on her own conclusions on his physical and mental condition, she visibly frowned, seemingly sadden "Ryouichi however, his situation was really really bad. He seemed very sick and was in a lot of pain last we saw him, he starting vomiting roses. When we asked if we could go visit him...the lady in white wouldn't let us" with her next few words however the air around her visibly bright, as she got a pep in her step "We're sure he's fine. We still got our kawaii little sand castle here hehe" she cooed to her vertically challenged teammate.

Upon completing her explanation a man riding a polar bear came galloping towards them with a scroll in his hand with the Iwa insignia on it. Now while this freaked Yuki out, everyone else wasn't. Nanashi probably for having head about the clan in Iwa that has bear qualities. Jester and Suteki weren't surprised as they learned about the oddities about the types of summons people had in Iwa. Their former sensei had a talking rhinoceros for example. So Jet watched with boredom but when he spoke of Squad 3 and their companions Jet's interest was piqued. She didn't need the scroll to realize where this was going. Squad 3 needed a sensei and was missing a member and therefore Yuki and Nanashi were going to fill in the open slots. As the others read over the scroll, she contemplated Nanashi's words before he left via shushin. He offered them the option to leave the squad and while she didn't necessarily had an issue with her companions, Suteki obviously did. With her attitude towards Nanashi and Yuki but particularly Nanashi who for some reason had some quarrel with him; though it could be because he was/ is an ANBU or his moniker or both as she seemed to focus on those two. Note to us: Teach Sand Castle how to reign in her emotions before she gets to be a hindrance. But we wouldn't be surprised if she did that just to get out of the squad which she has vividly expressed her distaste for When it was her turn to have the scroll, Jet just skimmed it for anymore details which she found none. So she summoned chakra to her hand, enveloping it in raiton, causing it to erupt in flames only to be thrown to the side next to a boulder. Jet prepared to leave but before she could do so Yuki attacked ahem hugged her tightly, and expressing her apparent happiness over this news. Jet froze for a second, having not be used to being hugged in well...10 or so years? But the ice broke quickly enough and she found herself laughing along too "Hehe of course you should Sinbin, you are going to be our new toy" and with this she did a shushin herself leaving the girl to contemplate her words as they parted ways.

Jet put it fairly well, except the entire personal trip montage spiel she went with, where ever that came from. Something about Hawaii, volcanoes, which made the most sense of what she said, and taning which Suteki could appreciate, which got her very confused.  Though, throughout her entire explanation, from explaining that they weren't much of a squad yet because of never training together, or doing missions, just from meeting once for a team building exercise, being the first and only squad meeting of Squad 3, something Jet said did surprise her greatly.  The green haired girl had gone to visit the Nara fellow after the first and only meeting, and in the hospital no less, soon after the combat team trial.  She herself had made no effort to meet or see the man after they parted ways, accepting the loss of him from the squad being of very little consequence to herself.  It was a shame what happened to him of course but he made very little effort to avoid coughing up blood, perhaps having a death wish for himself or some such.  Having just stood in the smoke, enjoying the flickering sparks of their squad leaders volcanic jutsu.  Still, she was amazed that Jet had gone to visit him.  She did have a personality to allow such, but she also had a frivolous, quick to find something more interesting, in the moment type of attitude.  She still hadn't got the girl discovered just yet, seeming to see a different personality trait every time they met.  And though they were still in the same squad together, she felt that she might never be able to figure her out, even if they stuck together for the foreseeable future.

After Nanashi left the area, she calmed down greatly, closing her eyes and breathing a sigh of relief as he took off, and turned to the two girls to her left now seeing the girl jump onto Jet, squealing with joy.  The hold lasted some time, upon a person she had never met.  So...she was that kind of a girl huh.  The sand on the ground started to stir, now being pulled back towards her.  She wouldn't leave a drop behind, the sand dragging along the ground than up and into the gourd to avoid any idea of confrontation.  She had no problem with the girl, well, not a very big problem with her.  Confusion and curiosity got the best of both of them, and she accepted the fact.  At least for the girl.  Soon after, she released Jet and she spoke about her being a new toy, or mate or some such, she didn't read to deeply into the wording used by Jet.  Jet quickly vanished after she spoke, in a manner similar to Nanashi.

Suteki could see the pent up explosive joy in the girls eyes as she wanted to hug her as well, even if slightly unsure if she should.  Suteki opened her arms and she jumped into them, though very little hug was returned.  Than she spoke and also vanished, unable to say anything to the girl herself.  She had stayed oddly quite during the entire interaction and everyone seemed accepting of it.  She just shrugged.

Everyone was in such a rush to leave, with no wish to be tracked for some reason, all using the body flicker technique to leave the area post haste.  The small girl started to head for the other end of the tree line, able to easily hear the roaring waters of the falls beyond.  The sand gathered quicker now, flying towards her and swirling into the spigots of the gourds.  It would have been nice if one of them or all of the girls had stuck around, and gone to see the falls together, perhaps building some form of a friendship with one another since they would be working together.  But, the events didn't really seem to call for such, given the attempt to injure one another.  Even so, Suteki would have accepted and enjoyed the company, even given all of the ruckus and not having known them all that well.  As the last drop fell in, she pushed a branch out of her way and exited the meeting area.  She still wished to see the crown or hand of stone and the falls.  The was her original purpose of having ventured out into the surrounding of Takigakure.  Than she had wondered, "what was the reason everyone else was way out here anyways?"
