Training? Yeah, she should probably be doing that, but she couldn’t bring herself to move just yet. She’d been meditating in the same spot for the past hour. She was sitting on top of a large boulder at the very tip of the tall waterfall, rather enjoying the vibrations that traveled through it from the water thundering past in its rush to descend to the pools below. However, her sitting position wasn’t exactly what people would call the norm when it came to meditation poses; both of her feet were planted on the rock, spaced a little over a foot apart with her legs bent at the knees. She had her arms set up straight behind her with her palms resting on the boulder to support the top half of her body. Every so often she changed the direction her head was resting in, either tilting it completely back or leaning it forward depending on how stiff her neck was beginning to feel.

Anyways, she’d come here more than an hour ago to clear her head; being made clan leader overnight was something you just didn’t get used to right away especially if it was something you weren’t expecting. So the fact that she needed a break from her new duty was an understatement. She’d even had to change her fashion from what it used to be to what as a member of her clan she should be wearing: a white short sleeved top with the Yanagi symbol that was already represented proudly on her face on the back of it, a pair of white shorts with black pockets, and bare feet which would’ve shown off the other clan marking she had had they not been pressed into the rock beneath her. They couldn’t force her to change to her hair though, it was still short and in it’s usual white bed-headed messy style that made her teal colored eyes stand out even more vibrantly somehow.

With a groan she tilted her head back again so that her face was to the sky, staring upwards at the clouds floating so far above her. “Peace and quiet. Just what I needed today.”, she muttered quietly to herself more than anyone else that might’ve been close by enough to hear it.

Masa by her Junko was walking slowly in the peaceful woods wanting to get away from people. Coming to the waterfall that most of her time was spent she was calm and the red and white dog to her side seemed silent. Looking over the town the village looked like a distant blur that couldn't touch her. For a moment she could be herself and not have to worry about being wronged.

Masa nuzzled the girl's hip and glanced over to the other girl. She was cute in Junko eyes. Not her normal type but she wasn't going to judge. Not even wanting to make a first move the blond sat down and leaned on her partner. If the girl wanted to talk she would notice her. This was a place of relaxation so she would understand the need to be alone.

After a few moments of just basking in the sunlight Marquetta finally lifted her head back up from its previous position. After blinking a few times she finally took time to bother looking around, her gaze resting on the other female nearby and the animal with her. An eyebrow rose in curiosity before she turned her teal colored gaze from them to the rest of the surrounding area. No one else she could see, or feel for that matter.

Glancing down at the rock she’d placed herself in she threw a glare at the water that was causing a momentary blockage to her ability to ‘feel’ any movement outside of the boulder she was on. With a sigh and a shrug she looked back to the female and gave a wave in greeting.

When the resting girl gave her a wave, Junko happily walked over with a huge smile. Masa the more careful of the two of them sniffed the ground trying to get a better feel of who she was. Her human partner may be little unwise when it came to people but she knew better. With dirt going up her nose she sneezed.

The blond, not watching the dog smiled and greeted the other genin, “Hello. Nice day out.”

Her teal colored gaze moved over the female and then the animal with her before returning to the female. She gave a small smile and nodded in agreement to the female’s words. “Indeed it is.” She sat herself up, folding her legs into an Indian style position that revealed the swirl like patterns on the bottom of her feet. She stretched her arms above her head, smiling slightly at the momentary strained feeling she gained from having sat so long in the same position. “My name’s Marquetta Yanagi, by the way.”

Junko sat down by her and raised her arms in the air and patted the dog next to her on the head. With a soft shy smile the blond tells her, “I’m Junko Inuzuka. This is Masa, shes a bit of a pain but you learn to live with her.” and gives a giggle. Tucking her hair behind her ear she looked up to the sky watching the clouds as they rolled across the warm sky. She hadn’t watched clouds for a while… this was fun.
