At the hotel, two hours prior to the meeting:

"We only know a few thing about this Tsuchikage and his residence," Enaka spoke calmly, sitting at the desk in his massive suite, paid in his own expense of course. Taking sips from his cup of tea, while looking at the two people present in his suite: Uzumaki Myra and Itsukuchi Hataro. "In only a few months, he has been systemathically rooting out spies and contra-kage factions in Iwagakure. He's smart, resourceful and someone who knows what he's doing and takes pride in it, THAT we know, but who he is, his strengths, his weaknesses are all unknown."

Hataro sat down on the chair on the opposite side of the desk, taking the papers Enaka had laying on the desk and reading them calmly. His face was still hidden behind sunglasses and a part of his jumpsuit which stretched up all the way to his nose, with only his unkempt, spikey black hair visible.

"We know that there are documents on this man, he even has a history and is apparently known as an intelligent, meticulous man," The lieutenant sighed, while using his free hand to slightly shift the headband he was wearing on his forehead, with the typical emblem of konohagakure on it. "However, what we do know is that before he rose to power, not a single person had heard of him, otherwise your spies would've informed us, correct Orochi-sama?"

Enaka nodded calmly, his hand sliding accross the desk, searching for another paper, while his gaze turned to Myra, who was looking through the window, though kept her eyes closed. It was her way of maximizing the potential of her ANBU barrier, which was highly strenthened by the fact Enaka and Hataro had activated theirs as well to aid her in her research of the largest building in Iwagakure.

"Orochi-sama, I'm sorry, but there's no way someone could build something like that," The blonde at the window mused, while turning her attention at Enaka. "It's as if there's interference with my sensory skills. It seems to block out most of my chakra to the point it's almost impossible to discern moving objects inside. Sir, it's a fortress, not just some building. That tsuchikage might be more dangerous than we thought."

To that comment, a cold, chilling chuckle resonated through the suite, coming from the man who was still taking sips from his tea. "You don't get it do you? That's exactly why I dont want him against us, but with us…and if he doesn't, it'll be the usual."

Hataro nodded, Myra simply mumbled…and Enaka simply smiled softly, yet deviously, while continuing to drink his tea.

"They probably have basic knowledge on us, which means you two are seen as the most dangerous ones, since you're still active shinobi of high level," The man behind the desk sighed, realizing he had just drunk the last of his tea."I have no worries on Rinshi, but should anything happen, he's allyours Hataro…I know you'd like a Hyuga in your collection. Myra if anything would happen to me, it is your duty to counter the tsuchikage's efforts by informing the hokage that this could very well be a decleration of war…don't worry, I wont die, I have not yet seen anyone possibly strong enough to best me."

Present time: at The administration building

"You two will remain outside," The Konoha Emissary ordered his two lieutenants. "You will guard the outside and if necessary take out every ANBU of this village that dares to move in without me knowing it."

Both Hataro and Myra nodded silently, before pulling their black ANBU masks over their faces and vanishing from the location to take up the task handed to them by their leader. He had arrived earlier than the time he had notified to Rinshi; the special jounin who was sent to most likely watch him on the hokage's orders. That Sousetsu was smart, but not so much a subtile person, while this Tsuchikage was so much the opposite, for this one was subtile, subtile enough to have eluded Enaka's radar for so long and suddenly popping up to become the leader of Iwagakure.

The only thing he did now was announce his presence at the reception, while waiting for Rinshi to arrive. It was a good thing that he had said to be at the administration building at 8am, it gave him the time to arrive an hour earlier with Hataro and Myra to lay down the lines of their path.

"Let's see what this Tsuchikage is made off."

Akira had been spending the last couple of days targeting a specific group of individuals that had been poking about. He had let it leak that some information on one of the politicians he was suspicious of was being transferred via scroll to the administration building. It was as simple as instructing one of his guards to mention it over dinner in the company of friends while appearing to be drunk. But not to give the route or time. He wanted it to look like a stroke of luck but make the people he was after actually have to put some effort into tracking down that information. After all if it was to easy one might smell the trap he had prepared. A sting operation to root out spies for interrogation. And it went swimmingly. He had managed to capture three more spies that had been ordered to intercept the document. Thugs mostly but some one had trained them and ordered them. The capture itself was well done. Collars and shackles were slapped on that suppressed chakra and their mouths were held open with a plastic tool until all their teeth and gums and even their teeth and tongues were checked for poison tablets. Couldn't have them burning themselves or drowning on their own blood before they were interrogated. Currently they were being held with the chakra restraints in place and a barrier in place to keep their tongue from passing their teeth so they couldn't bite it off. And Akira was not one to hold back on torture. He had done this several times before. Each time spies had tried to kill themselves only to be healed and kept alive. They had been getting rather creative about it and that was why the methods were extremely necessary. He wanted answers before bodies as an autopsy only gave him so much. But time and time again he had made them talk. And so he was tearing into every spy network in Iwa to such a point that the very idea of being a spy in Iwa was likely a death sentence.

However a new arrivals folder arrived at his desk as he was smoking a cigar and drinking his bourbon. At first he had very little interest in it but the shinobi who had brought it was very forthcoming when he said they were a party from Konoha. Perhaps a response to his trade request? He dismissed the shinobi and opened the file before blinking. The first name that popped out at him was a hyuga named Rinshi. He doubted that Rinshi would be able to see through his disguise and altered appearance but he would certainly be careful. He would need to resist using any known Hyuga techniques if he didn't want questions rising. Still if they were sending a hyuga and an Uzumaki, then who ever they were escorting must be of some significance. Orochi Enaka was obviously the head of the party, However his name seemed familiar. He had seen it somewhere before. And being as the individuals were from Konoha he would need to consult that file. So he rose from his seat behind his desk and moved over to the wall behind his desk. It was there that books and scrolls were kept in shelves. And in front of it was a shimmering chakra barrier that only accepted Akira's chakra. He reached through the barrier and quietly moved a scroll from its spot on a shelf, Some scroll about taxes from a year ago, Kept in the proper place but certainly aged and unimportant. Beneath it though he moved a hidden panel and pulled out a rather thick file. He moved over to his desk with the file and began to shift through it. A while passed as he shifted through the dozens upon dozens of pages within the file before coming across the file with that name on it. Orochi Enaka was a retired captain of the Anbu forces and an impressive individual in his prime. He narrowed his eyes at the Anbu part of it though. He was never one to get along with Konoha ANBU. He had after all spent half a decade evading them.

Still after studying the man for a while, He replaced the files in their hidden cubby behind the chakra barrier and replaced the scroll over it. So an Ex Anbu captain had arrived with an escort and a hyuga no less. There was a chance that some how he may have been found out. But Akira was never one to just straight up and kill people based on a suspicion. If they were there for him then the people that loved him would not believe the accusations. He was protected by a country in a way. But they could still be intending to try and take him down in secret. He would just keep tabs on them for now. He issues the order for long range surveillance to be maintained on them for the extent of their stay. Long range meant no listening but at the very least he would be able to keep track of most of their movements. And that was what mattered to him. He was curious though about why they were so forthcoming. If he did become deceased then it would come out that Konoha nin had just arrived in the country only hours or days before. They were being far to upfront for an assassination attempt. Perhaps this was about Gin? She had made a straight line for Konoha after she left Iwa. He wondered what kind of fun trouble she was getting herself into. Either way the best case scenario was that Konoha had sent the worst people imaginable just to negotiate trade routes. It would be interesting to find out the truth of the matter.

The morning of the meeting Akira had gotten some rest and awoken at sunrise. He had dressed in his armored suit which by all appearances was just a suit. He hung the jacket and coat over the coat hanger but kept on the slacks and button up shirt with the suit vest. His shirt was a very light green and his vest was silver while his ties. which was buttoned into the shirt buttons and tucked under the vest, was a dark green. His dagger he kept tucked under his vest against the small of his back. A slight bulge but still he was sitting in his chair so it couldn't be seen. His hair was styled back out of his face and looked well done of a brown color with his Iwa headband holding his hair back. And even with that it was just above shoulder length. His boots were of a light material but boots all the same. Something different from shinobi sandals. His face was handsome and even his facial hair was perfectly groomed like two pronged forks on either side of his chin. But what distracted from it all was his eyes. Something in those deep yellow eyes demanded power and respect, yet they seemed to take in everything. It was as if those eyes were gazing into the future and the past. He was not a simple man in the least. He could of been naked but those eyes would still suggest that he was a dangerous man.

An hour earlier then he had intended he was informed that Enaka had arrived alone. It surprised him a little but made him suspicious all the same. Still he preferred it that way. No one would argue about only allowing one person to see him at a time in his office if there was only one person. Still Enaka was greeted with a woman at the front who bowed her head before closing her eyes. She let her sensory run over him before detecting no weapons on his person. When she opened her eyes after a split second she nodded to him and informed him it would just be a moment. And so it was. No sooner had she finished speaking then two guards emerged from the hall leading to the office. One was a rather large man with several scars, But something in his face resembled a bear and his fingertips had bear claws. That was Uchubu Kuma. The other was a small man with long arms and legs with a thin face. His hair seemed to fall back into a messy pony tail. But was running a crystal coin between his fingers as if he didn't realize he was doing so. He was Tomo Yamada. A bear man and a crystal user. They both bowed respectfully and if Enaka followed them led him down a hall. Seals from the previous Tsuchikage were still in place there. Akira had seen no reason to remove them. If one knew anything of seals these were a sensory seal type that let whoever was in the office know when someone was approaching. The guards stopped at the office though and knocked twice before Uchubu moved to the door and pushed. His muscles flexed as the door slowly slide open. The doors themselves were heavy enough to withstand some attacks but they were still the least secure part of the room.

Once one passed the Heavy oak double doors painted white they emerged into the Chamber office of the Kage. The wall around the doors was ordained with the images of the past Tsuchikage all the way down to the first and up to the last in order from left to right top to bottom. The wall to the right was a very well made green marble bar with every type of liquor Akira could acquire and several glasses. It spanned the entire wall with a box of assorted cigars set on its counter. The wall to the left had two couches facing each other with egyptian cotton coverings and a persian carpet with a crystal coffee table set in between them. In font of all that was a very large fire place with a crackling and warm fire burning in it. But the chimney was also a death trap. Inside and all the way from top to bottom it was lined with blades and razor wire. Should anyone try to breach from the chimney they would be cut to shred and land as several bloody chunks. On the final wall opposite the doors was a large stone desk set exactly in the middle and exactly across from the doors. The desk itself was ornately carved with vines and roses but it was made out of the same chakra reinforced rock used in the walls. A shield should someone try and breach the doors. In front of the desk was one chair with a red silk set of cushions on it. Behind the desk was a line of shelves with books and scrolls and a shimmering chakra barrier. On the desk itself was a bottle of bourbon and two glasses. one of which was already half full. And an ash tray with a cigar in it. Still lit and half smoked. The rest of it was neatly organized documents kept in vanilla folders. But behind the desk itself sat Akira in a red leather chair. His yellow gaze focused on his new guest. There were no windows and the entire room resonated chakra as it was all made from reinforced stone. It was indeed a fortress. Still when Akira spoke he shifted forward and leaned on his elbows with his fingers intertwined. His voice was warm and welcoming.

"Dr. Enaka? Or is it Mr. Enaka? Forgive me but I am afraid I have never heard much of you before. I simply wish to get it right so as not to offend you. Please have a seat. It must of been exhausting to have traveled all the way up here through the mountains."

Even as he lied the guard would close the door and suddenly the sounds of the outside world were cut off. Only they and the crackling fire seemed to remain. It was as if they had entered into a world where no one and nothing else existed. The thick walls and the chakra running through them blocking everything but the seals in the hallway out. While Enaka was in his office the guards would be sure not to let anyone else in. Though for the time being Akira had no way of knowing his team had lost track of two of Enaka's entourage. That information would have to peek his interest later.

The woman, or rather 'girl' in Enaka's eyes, who had greeted him, seemingly thought her sensory went unnoticed, not that the man cared for it, in fact he was quite positively surprised by the level of security in that place. In a way it could've been seen as something unbefitting of a strong kage, but on the other hand, as it was in the Ouroboros regent's idea: no man could have enough security in their lives. The more interesting part however, were the two men who shortly after his 'scanning' had arrived to bring him to the Tsuchikage's office. The crystal user in particular caught Enaka's attention, who had wished to dissect a crystal user ever since that incident which left Konoha without a Hokage for months.

When he was brought to the office, Enaka showed an overly friendly smile, with his eyes squinting, not revealing his eyes in any way. The office doors seemed extremely heavy, which only confirmed the information and the suspicion Enaka had all along about the entire building: this was a fortress, a stronghold which would be able to withstand at least the strength of any Jounin-class shinobi, all in all quite impressive.

However, one look on the Tsuchikage's office made him cringe slightly, as it was the complete opposite of his own home, which lavished in fine silk and satin, cherry wood and cedar, while this office, despite the lighter touches, felt heavy and many of the colors confronted rather than soothed a guest. Though it was luxurious and most likely comfortable, Enaka could only find it quite cumbersome to be in such a room for the larger part of any day.

"Dr. Enaka? Or is it Mr. Enaka? Forgive me but I am afraid I have never heard much of you before. I simply wish to get it right so as not to offend you. Please have a seat. It must of been exhausting to have traveled all the way up here through the mountains."

Enaka's attention quickly turned at the man behind the desk, his face a perfect image of symmetry, with a stylishly trimmed goatee, a strong, yet elegant jawline and piercing eyes. As the door closed behind him and th images of the two guards disappeared, Enaka took on the offer of the Tsuchikage and took a seat, though only gently.

In style of clothing the two men could not be further apart, with Akira wearing stylish western clothing in comparison to Enaka who wore a black kimono with purple lining and a lavender sash with a black magatama print, a purple Haori with his clan's crest and ebony wooden kabuki sandals with purple satin laces.

"Orochi-san would be more fitting for the time being, Kazako-dono," Enaka said in a calm and polite manner, pointing out that he held great value to the honorifics of the traditional speech. He decided not to use the suffix 'sama' for the Tsuchikage, but in stead used the more friendly and soothing 'dono' suffix to at least show him some respect in relation to his position as leader of Iwagakure. "The travel was quite simple, we had the good fortune of not enduring any rainfall or other extremicies, Kazako-dono. Though you have my gratitude for your concern."

Holding slight disdain for the fact the room smelled like cigars, Enaka gave a friendly smile at the Tsuchikage, as if he was trying to avoid the kage's eyes though, the man still kept his eyes in a squinting manner, with that smile plastered on his face. "I pressume you are curious as to why I am here in your village, is it not…Kazako-dono?"

Akira could tell right away he didn't like this man. It was how the eyes were hidden from him. He always preferred to look people in the eye and see through the eyes if the soul was too corrupted to work with or to innocent to command. The eyes were the hardest thing to train to be something other then who you are. They gave away training in the art of perception by how they observed and just how much they took in. They would show doubt when some one was lying or malevolence when someone was being mischievous. They would show the innocence of clean hands or the cold hard stare of the hands soaked in blood. To hide those eyes was like hiding away secrets from him and from the get go he didn't trust that. Even if he already knew of this mans career. Perhaps the man also considered eyes windows. But Akira would not hide his eyes. Instead his eyes reflected his smile as he let his white teeth show. He was practiced enough at keeping up a false face. He had been doing it for years thanks to the Konoha Anbu. He could hide his general disdain for the man.

For the moment the traditional aspect of the mans obviously preferred conversation raised a brow. Akira had been adapting to the western style of things for some time, Being as far west as his country was it had a lot of western influence. He supposed he could understand an older gentleman from inland being so formal and old fashioned. And it wasn't like he wasn't raised on it himself. As for the Orochi name he recognized it from when he was young. He remembered at one time being afraid of snakes and now he saw the snake in the man before him. But he had learned something about fear. If your fears came to strike at you then you need only crush them first. But for now he hoped there would be no crushing involved in todays meeting. Instead he listened before speaking. His tone still as soft as silk. And his hand indicating the drink on the counter.

"Ahh well Orochi-san I am glad your travels were pleasant. Still I did get this aged Bourbon the other day, I hope you would help me sample it."

Akira took the glass that was already half full and tipped it to his lips. Sipping it with a smile as he felt the warm liquid go down his throat. It was a refreshing brand and clean too. It soothed as it went down instead of burned. Like drinking cream. Still he leaned back in his chair and held the glass in his right hand as his arms rested on the arm rests. He looked relaxed but something about him seemed to be off. He was less like a relaxed individual and more like a spring. Or more accurately a wolf with its jaws closed but its eyes watching. Some how he appeared to be relaxed but at the same time ready to demolish the office in a second. Still he raised a brow at the last comment. Leaving the bourbon for the man to pour himself. After all Akira was a host not a servant. Still he responded with an amused smile. His voice mimicking his amusement just a little.

"Should I be Orochi-san? As interesting as your company that you brought with you is I am growing rather accustomed to having individuals such as merchants and politicians knocking at my door. And they all want the same thing, To gain power and profit in some way. Some beg and some try to manipulate it out of me. One fool even tried threats. But you don't seem the begging or the threatening type, I see no mouse before me and certainly not a lion. But you appeal to my curiosity all the same and I wouldn't ignore some one coming on behalf to the prestigious Konoha. So do tell before the suspense requires more drink. What is it that you want from me Orochi-san?" No not a mouse or a lion, A snake this one was.

"Ahh well Orochi-san I am glad your travels were pleasant. Still I did get this aged Bourbon the other day, I hope you would help me sample it."

Enaka looked towards the amber coloured liquid, again smiling, while nodding calmly and almost nonchalantly waving a bit with his hand, politely showing the Tsuchikage that he had no interest in such a drink or any liquor at the time. The Ouroboros Regent wasn't someone who would drink that much, hardly even drinking sake or some occasional wine, he'd rather stick to his selection of tasteful and soothing teas, which always lightened the load of his many occupations.

"I must humbly refuse, Kazako-dono," The man spoke diligently, yet withan obvious humble tone. "This day and age, one of my age sees too many of his generation drained of their youth, energy and intellect by the curse of the alcohol. I myself prefer to enjoy the taste of tea, which does not have such negative effects on the mind, body and soul. However, I hope this does not disturb your enjoyment of your beverage, for I do not doubt that you have refined tastes."

Trying to have a comfortable seating in whatthe man perceived to be much to soft and saggy for his taste, Enaka got himself on the edge of the chair, maintaining his balance by crossing his legs and placing his left hand on his knee, while keeping his right hand free for every kind of gesture necessary to perform when he would be needing to emphasize his words.

As interesting as your company that you brought with you is I am growing rather accustomed to having individuals such as merchants and politicians knocking at my door. And they all want the same thing, To gain power and profit in some way. Some beg and some try to manipulate it out of me. One fool even tried threats. But you appeal to my curiosity all the same and I wouldn't ignore some one coming on behalf to the prestigious Konoha. So do tell before the suspense requires more drink. What is it that you want from me Orochi-san?"

For just one single, tiny instant, Enaka's eyes opened slightly while his smile changed from overly friendly to rather devious or even vicious. Showing his dark black eyes, where the difference between the pupil and the iris was so small in terms of color, that one could say he simply had no iris or pupil. Those eyes were soulless, yet hungry and ready to devour any prey they saw fit for consumption, eyes in a way resembling Akira's probably more than he would've liked. Alas they werent visible for long, as Enaka's expression quickly shifted towards his earlier friendly expression.

I would say it is a misconception to think I came here in order to obtain power or profit," The Snake calmly responded to the Tsuchikage's words. "Even though one can never sway enough power or obtain enough profit, I'd say that in the light of my current mission, there is no need for me to beg or threaten you for such base desires."

Slowly, yet steadily Enaka's hand went for the inside of his Haori, not because he was affraid to be fast, just simply because he wanted to see how the Tsuchikage would react. He simply wanted to see what this man was made of and how strong his composure was. retreating his hand from the inside of his haori, he now revealed an envelope he was holding in his hand, a simple black envelope, containing three sheets of paper with the Konoha watermark.

"My Hokage has sent me on this mission because of his growing concern that war may be upon us, Kazako-dono," The older, yet somehow younger looking man explained to Akira, while handing over the envelope to the Tsuchikage. "Kirigakure and Kumogakure have shown signs of amassing their forces and strengthening their military infrastructures. Their shinobi have been moving to other villages en masse and it is our belief that they will soon act. What my Hokage proposes is an alliance between Iwagakure and Konohagakure in order to strengthen ourselves against a possible invasion."

Akira watched the man as black eyes showed for just a moment. Dark and dangerous as he had suspected they would. Or perhaps he had expected to see green snake eyes with a slit down the middle and a forked tongue? He let his own eyes narrow and his frown deepen at that look. The look of hunger he had seen in so many men. That look that suggested they would devour everything just for the sake of devouring it. The ones who had obtained strength in the shadows always consumed the light to gain power. And he had already decided he didn't like snakes. At least not ones who slithered in front of him. For a moment he was overcome with the urge to crush the snake before it could sink it's teeth into anything. Before it could spread it's poison. But given all appearances it was not just something happening to him that could lead to an international incident. If he crushed this snake before him then word could spread and by the time word got to Konoha it would seem like Akira had murdered the man and claimed Konoha was next. Rumors had a way of twisting like that.

Still Akira ignored his urges for the moment and instead listened to the words the man spoke. He talked of having no reason to beg or threaten and yet, He mentioned nothing of manipulating. And then he reached into his Haori. Slowly but steadily it seemed. Akira rose an eyebrow and smiled pointedly. To reach into ones cloak in front of Akira himself was certainly a daring move. But Akira was not new to assassins. If anything the slow movement of it amused him and he let it show. He was confident enough that if anything he didn't like came out of that Haori he would deal with it and destroy any attempts on his person. And so he just smiled with a coy smile and waited until a black envelope emerged from within. Akira had a mixture or relief and regret that it wasn't a weapon wash over him. But then again he had that woman out front for a reason. She never missed a weapon with her sensory. So Akira merely tilted his head in curiosity over it as he listened. But the words did not amuse him. And so he was done playing dumb for this man.

With a sigh Akira rose from his chair and plucked his cigar from his ash tray. He quietly walked over to the bar and poured himself a stronger drink of straight vodka. Swallowing it in one go before clearing his throat and taking a drag on his cigar. He did this to show the sizable dagger bulge on his back. What he was about to say could anger a snake and he wanted the snake to know that the Wolf did have fangs.  Yet even with his back partially turned to the man and the black envelope untouched it felt like Akira was still watching. And when he did turn around he leaned back against the marble bar and tilted his head. A smirk appeared on his lips briefly before he spoke up. His voice quiet and composed but something in it suggested he didn't like the idea that someone was trying to pull one on him or if it was true he didn't like those facts any more.

"Really now? Kirigakure and Kumogakure? That is bad news. And yet I am not very worried about it. Do you know why dear man? It is because your information doesn't line up with mine. Kirigakure is powerful but I have trade routes with them. And not one rumor comes from my merchants or other sources of them gathering forces or moving them about. As for Kumogakure, I hear their new Kage is a little hotheaded but I have no intel on any Kumo nin moving about in the recent times. Not to mention my people in Konoha, One of my best men there to train with his clan that happens to be the same clan as your Kage has sent no word of such worries. at worst the Previous Kazekage Gin has begun to move again. But this isn't what bothers me. What bothers me is wondering why such a request was sent with none other then a retired ANBU captain. Have they no one less trained in the killing arts to step foot in my office? I will decide for myself if this intel is more then just hearsay and fear mongering. But as for you, Please enjoy your time in Iwa but be sure to leave soon.  Retired or no I am not so sure I want an ANBU captain free to poke around as he see's fit. Does a week seem fair to you Orochi-Bō?"

He was obviously not afraid to insult someone even with as much of a record. He would leave out how Takumi was his ANBU captain currently in Konoha with the Hokage. He trusted Takumi would inform him if the Hokage were panicking. But all the same he would wait until Enaka was out of the country before sending out his own threads to seek out the truth of the matter. If it turned out to be true then he had a full squad already in Konoha. If it turned out to be false then he would keep trade routes with and through Konoha open but he would be more cautious when dealing with them. Far more cautious. Sending an EX Anbu captain of all people into his office? Not very well played at all. But then again he suspected Enaka had his own reasons for being there. He would have to double the eyes on the man. The corrupt politicians needed a break from the terror he was throwing over them anyway. Let them think Akira had forgotten them and then strike harder then ever before. Assuming Enaka didn't leave too much poison to deal with in his wake.

Enaka's smile vanished quickly, turning from a the overly friendly smile into a rather sly and devious grin, while he kept his eyes open, no longer hiding them by squinting at all. Without using any hand seals or even any detectable use of chakra, he held the envelop vertically in his hand, which in an instant, suddenly shredded to bits, the only people who would've been able to see the actual use of futon infused chakra were people with the byakugan or with the sharingan, after all, the very reason why Enaka had been on top of the shinobi game more than a decade ago was not persay his overall power or amount of jutsu, but his knowledge and use of chakra. Right there and then, the Politician had displayed something so small and innocent, which only the upper echelon of the shinobi world would be able to recognize as superior chakra control.

"It is sad that you do rely on the words of merchants and travelers, Tsuchikage-sama," His tone had turned more formal, for the first time using the other party's title with the 'sama' suffix. The tip of his tongue seemed to slide gently over his lips. "But I should indeed commend you on your intelligence and keen perception, which are both superb. However, it strikes me as to how someone of your level and…notority, would ever feel threatened by a retired shinobi, ANBU or not. Or is your distrust not solely based on the fact that I am from Konoha?"

The man made no gestures of leaving, but rather seemed to lean back a bit, making it a little bit more comfortable for himself. His eyes were locked on Akira's eyes, as if he was looking for something.

"Ah well, it's not that I would blame you for being careful," He sighed deeply, almost mockingly. "Truth is, indeed Kumogakure and Kirigakure are not so warlike as I told you they were, however I am not lying if I say this…it would be in your best interest to understand that first and foremost my…Our goal is to create a peaceful environment between our villages, to prevent anything from happening IF the perceived military strengthening of Kirigakure and Kumogakure would end up into something hostile, do you not agree with that statement?"

Akira watched as the man changed persona's rather rapidly.  Apparently the mind games were indeed up and over with. But what narrowed his gaze was the shredding of the documents. First and foremost was the arrogance of it. The man before him was so confident that he was willing to openly demonstrate he was attempting to manipulate a Kage. And not just any Kage but Akira himself. He always hated the ANBU for thinking they were so clever and getting over their heads with pride. It was exhausting just watching them strut around like peacocks in masks. The only good thing about ANBU was the pretty blue color they burst into when they realized they were outmatched finally. But that arrogance was only part of what irritated him. The other part was the man hadn't put any effort into actually shredding the document. At best he had simply held it up and it had been wiped out. Akira aside he knew people around the level of power expressed in the file had excellent chakra control. He didn't need his Byakugan to know that chakra had been used in some way and in his presence no less. That was crossing a line.

He listened to that arrogant tongue as his yellow gaze narrowed and he watched the man with a deep loathing. His mind picturing ripping the tongue from the mans mouth and healing it just to make him eat his tongue twice. Still he let the man finish before he let out a long sigh and leaned back. His eyes rolling upwards as he shook his head. The expression of someone losing patience with a ridiculous endeavor such as baby sitting a small child. When Akira spoke he sounded impatient and in may ways had lost his patience some time ago. In such a way that he was resisting breaking things.

"Once an ANBU always an ANBU. Did you know you all have the same trait about you? It is likely what gets most of you killed. Arrogance. Why the fuck should I give a damn about your opinions on me old man? Retired or not you are so obviously still the ANBU you were before. Retired people grow dull and lose their edge. But you have the arrogance and foolish look about you of a teenage boy who just got his first mission. A giddy child who thinks he is superior in some way. I am prepared if war begins but I suspect if this peace is over and done with, It will be because lying little snakes want to spread fear and suspicions. If an attack happens I will decide then how I want to deal with it. In the meantime."

He paused then and moved over to the desk. Remaining on the same side as Enaka as he moved very close. Settling into a relaxed sitting position on the desk in front of Enaka. His hands folded in his lap as he smiled and tilted his head. The office itself suddenly seemed too small for the both of them. The space between them ideal for a rapid strike or two. It was then that he lowered his voice. As if anyone outside could hear what he was about to say. The smile on his face was cold and somehow like a snarling wolf. But his voice was calm.

"That week I offered you? It's now three days. And if you use a technique in front of me again, without my permission. You will not be going home. Your ashes will be spread in a volcano in the high hopes you feel it in hell. Am I understood? Now I suggest you leave now. I am sure there is a great deal you wish to do in your three days and I doubt you wish to antagonize me further."

Right before Akira's speach was ended, Enaka began laughing, a dark spinecurdling and bonechilling laughter which would terrify almost every man. Finally he had started to show his real face, not that of an emissary or an ex-ANBU, not that of a man who seeked power. No, what this man was, was someone who had the power to back up his arrogance, someone who'd no one wanted to have as an adversary.

"Kazako-kun, you're anger, your hatred towards ANBU, it is all so amusing," Enaka said, while standing up, spreading his hands while tilting his head a bit to the side with an immensely sinister grin on his face. "It's not that you hate them, but you fear them. You fear those who have arrogance, for some might have the actual power to back it up. I came here with no other reason than strengthening the bonds between our nations, our villages and you throw this proposition away, you 'try' to insult me and even threaten me."

A sigh left Enaka's lips, while walking towards the doors, though stopping right in front of it, touching the door with one hand and turning his face back towards Akira, no longer a smile, but a firm and almost threatening look on his face.

"I wonder if you know, my dear Tsuchikage?" The Sinister advisor to the Hokage said in a cold and emotionless manner. "But someone who obviously has arms in his office and makes his guests give away all their weapons, is not persay a smart man. It is the sign of a weak and cowardly man, who does not trust their own capacities. I thought you would've been interesting, a man worth binding to Konoha's cause, but you aren't worth my time or konoha's time. You can see that I'll terminate all transmission between Iwagakure and Konohagakure within a fortnight. All Iwa-nin currently in Konoha will be asked to return home and I will personally make sure none of your spies ever resides in our borders. That, is my promise to you, who I had thought about highly, yet as most of the times, reality is nothing compared to the expectations."

Giving a slight nod, he pushed open the doors and headed outside, already building up his chakra if even the slightest movement was made in his direction without warning, they would learn their place in the world and that place was simple: hell itself.
