IMPORTANT READ FIRST!!:


        Chihiro was sleeping the day away in bed when her caretaker came into the room. "Lady Chihiro it's already past eleven o'clock, you really should get up so the maid can air out the futon milady..." she said as she lightly shook Chihiro and with a grumble, she opened her eyes. Chihiro let out an annoyed sigh and rose up and stared at her caretaker. "ok, ok, I'll get up Miki, just get out so I can get dressed." Miki just nodded and bowed then left the room closing the door behind her. Chihiro stood up and opened her door that led out to the garden, only to feel a chilly and brisk breeze come over her in an instant. Chihiro shivered as she quickly closed the sliding paper, to keep the cold air out.
          As usual, Chihiro went and brushed her hair, tying up the one part of it in the usual fashion. Then proceeded to get dressed. Once she was fully clothed, Chihiro brushed her teeth then put on her shinobi headband and sandals. After she had done all that, Chihiro checked her appearance in the mirror to make sure there was nothing weird about her looks or if she had any blemishes. Once she confirmed that everything was perfect, her stomach let out a loud growl, causing Chihiro to blush.

         ".... Guess, I should get something to eat, huh?" She then began to ponder whether she should eat something at the house or go into town for a bite. She then remembered she had a lesson later today that she had rather skip so she figured, she'd sneak. Out and go to ichiraku ramen. With her mind made up, she quickly left the estate and headed into the village. Chihiro hadn't been to the village for awhile, she'd been held up at home with all her tedious lessons but with her father out of the village for a few months, she had a bit more freedom, which made Chihiro feel great.  She happily walked through the village. It was very sunny but very windy at the same time, she couldn't wait to arrive at Ichiraku ramen and get something to eat.

The wind blowing was very brisk and chilly, it gave Chihiro goose bumps all over her legs that were exposed to the cool air. Finally, Chihiro arrived at Ichiraku Ramen and sat down in an empty seat that just so happened to be next someone."I'll have one miso flavored ramen please~! and extra green onions and fish cake as usual~!" The cook nodded and began to prepare her ramen. She was relieved to be out of the cold but could still feel the chilly air behind her, and it made her shake a bit. She looked over at the person sitting next to her and noticed he was quite handsome.

The gentle breeze embraced the village of the leaves, as the sun lit its sky beautifully, informing the people of its rising, telling them to wake up from their slumber, another beautiful day at the fire nation, the nation where the head of the Kaneko clan lives, with the rest of the clan.


“Julius-sama!Julius-sama! PLEASE WAKE UP!”


Her voice~


A charming alarm clock, informing him he's late in waking up, with her loud voice, and her scolding tone. The boy arose as did the sun of Konoha, many hours earlier, and sat with his legs stretched on the bed hidden underneath the bed cover, he turned his eyes to the maid standing besides him, she would smile with a pissed off look, and speak in a pissed manner that held a slight bit of composure “Do.......You....Know what time it is! you're late, and you have tons of meeting to attend to, hurry up!” Ignoring her words he spoke “Junko-chan, you seem tired, you have bags under your eyes, would you like to sleep with me?” A knack on his head is all he received as a reply, soon from the wooden roof fell his tiny seven years old sister, as she began hissing at the maid and saying “Thieving cat, no stealing my one-sama!” Julius would face palm at the troublesome hectic morning and as his mother came into the room greeting him “Morning son, have you slept well?” A reply from Julius was “Morning, mother.” and to her question he nodded and smiled.


Not being capable of handling the hectic mess these two caused, as the maid turned to bring him a fresh new change of clothes, they would turn to where he sat, only to find that he's not there.


He would escape out of the window and rush to ichiraku ramen, for his first meal in the day, his favorite place, a place for commoners, but he minded not, being in such a place, the food tastes great, the reception is nice, and the old man's a good guy, with his energetic daughter, they run a good business. 


And so he sat near a female, that seemed to be from the Hyuga clan, upon arriving. He would speak to the man and greet him, and do some small talk with him, the female would order, and not bothering with the details, he spoke right after her saying“I'll order the same.”

He would take a glance at the female, noticing her beauty, and as their eyes met he spoke “Hello there.” his tone was gentle, and so was his feint smile.

When their eyes met, the man gave her a feint smile as he greeted her, Chihiro could tell just by looking at him that he seemed to be a gentle person. Normally, Chihiro never got nervous around men but for some reason she couldn't help but blush. It was unbecoming of a member of the Hyuuga clan's main branch to become flustered like that because of a person. So to hide it she quickly turned her head, without even replying to his greeting. Chihiro didn't want to be rude to him but she didn't want to see her like that either. The cook then placed a big bowl of ramen in front of Chihiro and smiled at her. "Here ya go Chihiro sama, one bowl of miso ramen with extra fish cake and green onions, just how ya like it!" She thanked him and began to eat her ramen. Being raised in the Hyuuga clan, Chihiro had been taught manners but this was a commoner's place, and seeing as Chihiro would probably never get the chance to again, she decided to eat just like a commoner would. However, she had no clue how commoner's ate ramen, so instead she just ate normally. All the while, she couldn't help but glance at his profile from time to time. He was quite good looking and he seemed to be close to her age.  Chihiro went back to eating her ramen. The old man sure was taking his time making the man's ramen.  Not that it mattered to her, it was only an observation. As she continually glanced at him from the side involuntarily, she couldn't shake the feeling that she'd met him somewhere before, as she tried to remember where that could of been, she decided that maybe she could ask him, after all it wouldn't hurt, and if she was mistaken that would be the end of it. " excuse me but you seem quite familiar, is it possible we've met somewhere before?"

He sat there relaxing, it was a nice day indeed, he enjoyed each moment of it, why not live each moment as if its the last moment one has to live. Or so was his motto.


The boy sat, as he glared for mere three seconds the beauty near him, his gentle smile turned to the man, as he pulled the same amount he always pays forcibly, no, the man was not forcing him to pay it, he always tries to force the man to accept his payments which were ten times the original amount, an innocent good man, the man is, and to Julius the innocent and the good are under his wing, no he was not hoping to be called hero, he merely enjoyed showering others with his fortune.


The cook declined, and insisted on declining it too. He started scolding Julius, about how he should be careful, and about how someone may attempt to use his generosity, Julius smiled at the man enjoying the lecture, he was always the type to prefer this rough love anyway, but what had Julius feel anxious and troubled was the use of his name in a way he disliked, the old man referred to him as Visconti-sama, Julius would lecture the man telling him to call him Julius-chan, or anything without the formalities.


Julius was paying attention, he refereed to the beautiful female beside him, as 'Chihiro-sama' the name was familiar, well, regardless of that, Julius was quite perceptive, the female was from the Hyuga clan obviously, meaning Taijutsu was her main specialty, such was obvious from her body language, martial artists tend to have a way with stances and sittings, while not so different, they do it in a much better, and a healthier way for their body.


Chihiro-'sama' erhaps she was a leader of a branch clan, or of the main clan, regardless of that, the beauty spoke with a beautiful voice, and a well mannered tone “excuse me but you seem quite familiar, is it possible we've met somewhere before?”


His gentle smile never faded, and as he turned to her with his passionate eyes as he spoke in reply “Oh? I'm not really sure. My name's Julius Visconti Kaneko, perhaps we've met in the clans conferences?”
And as he said so, his bowl was placed infront of him, he would grab hold of his chopsticks, pray, and begin eating.

he turned towards her once more and answered her question. She knew who he was right away, and that only made her more nervous. She quickly stood up and bowed her head in respect. She'd only seen him once before at one of the clan conferences she'd attended with her father two years ago. Julius was well known celebrity in the village, he was quite popular amongst the ladies in konohagakure. Heck, he was handsome enough to be an actor. She tried to quickly finish her ramen without showing him her blushing face. Once finished, she turned to him once more. "Ah, Julius sama! I didn't realize it was you. Do you remember me? I was with my father at the clan conference two years ago."  Before he could answer her, Chihiro heard a familiar voice calling her name.Chihiro ojou-sama! Where are you?! Chihiro ojou-sama!! You have your lessons with Takahashi sensei in thirty minutes, please come out!" a sweat drop formed on the back of Chihiro's head. She knew it was miki that was looking for her and she didn't want to go back to the estate yet. As Chihiro heard Miki approaching the shop, without thinking she grabbed onto Julius's arm and pulled him along a she ran out the back of the shop to escape Miki. Once they were far away from the shop, Chihiro finally stopped at the park. Once she had stopped, she realized what she had done and quickly let go of his wrist. "I'm so sorry!!! I don't know what I was thinking!! Chihiro was now completely embarrassed as she continually bowed her head apologetically. She couldn't believe she just did what she had done.

"Ah, Julius sama! I didn't realize it was you. Do you remember me? I was with my father at the clan conference two years ago."


His smile slightly widened, it indeed was her, he spoke to her in reply “Haha, indeed I do, I enjoyed your being with us, you stood ever so courageously. I'd like to note you're as beautiful as ever..Also! No need for the formalities~You can call me Julius, or Julius-kun for the matter~” such  was his reply, he spoke in a calm manner, he would continue to enjoy his meal, until a voice would rush to their ears, informing the two that someone was looking for her.


She quickly reacted by pulling him from his hand, and from his wrist to be ore specific, to the back door, and out of the shop, he enjoyed the events of this day his gentle smile faded never. She would then apologies in an anxious hasty manner, but Julius would calm her down with pat on her head as he caressed her hair between his fingers “Being kidnapped by a beauty such as you is beyond my wildest fantasies, I than you for the experience~. Now—we should continue this nice little date we're having” or so he said to the female as he grabbed hold of her hand with his warm hand, he would then steal her away to the enjoyment of this park.


She  was a courageous girl, a beautiful, and kind one with a strong heart, only few people bring joy to Julius's heart by being around him, she was one of them, Julius would wander around with her, giving her straight forward glares, and smiles whenever he needed too, and while he was popular with the females, he never really knew how to handle a girl, not that anyone can...Especially her, she's known for her spectacular grades and looks, she too was popular in Konohagakure for her charismatic strong character and her beauty.

He just patted her on the head, caressed her hair in between his fingers while smiling at her gently. Then he spoke.“Being kidnapped by a beauty such as you is beyond my wildest fantasies, I than you for the experience~. Now—we should continue this nice little date we're having” His words had Chihiro in shock. She was wondering why he'd said what he had said and it very much confused her. Chihiro was so embarrassed that she couldn't utter a single word. All she could do was stand there with her face all bright red. She just thought to herself 'this can't be happening, right? I mean why would the prestigious head of the kaneko clan say something to me like that?' Her heart was confused she didn't know what to do at all. Just then, she saw Miki approaching the park that they were in. So once again, without thinking, she quickly pulled her face in close to Julius's to the point where their lips were almost in contact but not quite. She carefully watched until miki had left. She then pulled away from him quickly. I'm terribly sorry, my caretaker is very persistent" she said now facing away from him out of embarrassment. She put her hands to her cheeks and they felt very hot. Chihiro didn't understand why she was feeling this way and wanted to go back to being normal. But it didn't seem like that was going to happen anytime soon. Just then, some little kids playing in the park ran past the two of them and when they ran past Chihiro, they bumped into her. She ended up loosing her balance and fell into the fountain behind her. Now sitting in the pond, drenched in dirty water, her embarrassment level reached it's max. She couldn't take it, she felt like a complete fool.

“I'm terribly sorry, my caretaker is very persistent”


“Oh no, I'm enjoying this chase~” So he said with a gentle smile on his face, he truly enjoyed this day, it was merely the beginning of it, and it was this much fun, hectic slightly, but not as was his room this early morning. They would get chased, but they would run and hide, as fast as they can too.


As too kids ran past them, they would bump into the lady beside him, he would try to catch her, but she'd fall in the river, water would cover her body, he would see her embarrassment, but would react in a better way, to cheer her up.


He would 'jump' into the water and say “Oops, I slipped” he spoke so cheerfully smiling towards her, and it was as obvious as day and night that it was a big fat lie. He would then splash her with water as if he was a little kid. After a while of fun in the water, he would carry off her feet, and to his mansion.




Soon they arrived, and as he entered, the maids and butlers would step aside making a way for him, not questioning him about her, he would then call one of the maids, and order her: “Sukiko, would you please take her to the bathroom, warm the water for her to bathe in, and hand her clothes to her liking” and soon he smiled and nodded to the Hyuuga female welcoming her to his home, the boy would go to the men's bathing room and enjoy a hot bath.


While he was in the bath, one of the old butlers, a man in his eighty's would speak to Julius, and ask him, and argue teasingly about him bringing a girl home, and her being his girlfriend, Julius replied in a blunt oblivious manner, saying: “We only just met so yea she is my girl friend, since she's a female, and my friend!” the old man would face palm saying “Quite the oblivious one aren't ya huh Julius-chan? Well it is our first time speaking to a female stranger...” Julius nodded obliviously  and spoke “And she's beautiful too, she has a nice voice too.” quite perceptive of him, not many people cared about voice, but it was his first friend, regardless of her gender she was his first friend.

Just as Chihiro was feeling more embarrassed than she'd ever felt. She heard a splash of water, only to find that Julius had too fallen into the fountain. He said he had slipped but it was clear as day it was a lie to cheer her up and it worked, though only a little. Next thing Chihiro knew, she was scooped up into Julius arms and carried off. It was so embarrassing to be carried princess cradle style like that so she intentionally hid her face even though her ears were even red. After 30 minutes of walking, they reached the kaneko estate. It was huge compared to the Hyuuga main house estate and looked rather impressive. Julius carried her inside and there many maids and butlers stepped aside while staying quiet. He then set her down gently and order one of the maids to draw a bath and prepare new clothes that would be to Chihiro's liking. After that, she was escorted to the women's bath area and told to quickly strip for her bath. Feeling a bit embarrassed, she did what she was told and got into the bath. The maids left a blue and pink kimono for her, bowed their heads and exited the bathroom. Chihiro then let out a sigh. How did she get herself into this mess? The bathroom was western in design and was made of pearly white marble. It surprised her a bit, it was completely different from the bathroom back at her family's estate. After 30 minutes, the maids returned only to get her out of the bath and get her changed into the kimono. The maids then escorted Chihiro to where Julius was waiting for her. She felt a little embarrassed to be wearing something like this but it couldn't be helped she thought. Chihiro then saw Julius come into view and hoped he would not laugh at her.

He would take a bath, cleaning himself from the weary events of this day, his bright white skin would cleanse as tiny drops of water rolled down his slender yet slightly muscular body. and soon, perhaps all he took was five to ten minutes, he left the bathroom wearing clothes he's more comfortable with at home, which was a male yukata and Japanese wooden heels, he would unbutton his Yukata to mid-chest and rest his left arm there, rather than in the sleeve, exposing his slightly muscular bare chest.


He would then go to a room and await his friend. He would begin reading, to waste time, and continue to wait for his friend.


Minutes later~


His friend entered wearing a beautiful kimono, but she was the one whom made it beautiful, she was crazily beautiful, Julius's smile faded and his eyes widened as he arose, and paced the distance between her holding her chin and saying as his gentle smile returned, he would speak “You're so beautiful, Chihiro-chan.” He spoke as he held her hand and took her to the dinning table were they could continue their meal, this however, was much more bigger and luxurious than what they were having.


She was truly beautiful, graceful, slender, and beautiful, she captivated Julius.

Julius had lifted up her chin and called Chihiro beautiful. She was fully expecting him to laugh at her appearance but instead he did the complete opposite. When he lifted her chin up, she thought he was going to kiss her so she unconsciously squeezed her eyes shut. But once he'd complimented her and released her chin, then he led her to the dining room which was just as extravagant as the rest of the estate. The maid seated her and Julius then the cooks brought out their meal. She was surprised to see the lavish meal laid out before her but what Chihiro couldn't help staring at Julius. His yukata was undone to his mid chest and he had a quite muscular physique. Chihiro  didn't have to even feel her cheeks to know they were hot. The maid standing near by asked "aren't you going to eat?" Chihiro then snapped out of it and began eating. She tried avoiding eye contact with Julius  out of embarrassment. Chihiro didn't know why she was acting this way, she normally is never shy around anyone. But for some reason, she was acting so strangely around Julius. It was possible she had developed feelings for him. After all, she'd met him once before, two years ago at the clan conference. She recalled how she felt when she first met him he father had taken Chihiro to that one meeting because he wanted Chihiro to learn what it was like to be the head of the clan. Her father had approached Julius and introduced her to him as his daughter. However, after that one time, Chihiro never saw Julius again until now. The memories made Chihiro feel somewhat nostalgic. Eventually Chihiro finished her meal and so did Julius. Once they both finished, the maids and butlers took their plates away and left the two alone in the dining room. um... Julius sama, it getting rather late, wh-what should we do? she asked nervously still avoiding eye contact

They sat together and enjoyed their wondrous meal, the best cooks from all over the shinobi world, served as cooks under his wing, he would sit calmly and enjoy his meal with his friend as he glared at her, remembering their first meeting, once a cute little girl, now a beautiful lady, 'you've grown Chihiro' he wanted to say, but held it in and continue their meal.


Soon as they both finished, Julius would take his time to show her around, dance, and play with her.


Soon the night would fall, and chihiro's sweet voice would speak again.


“um... Julius sama, it getting rather late, wh-what should we do?”


Upon hearing her speak, he would pout, she was using formalities again. He'd hold her hand and take her to his room, somewhere private, and somewhere they could have fun together, his room was full of puzzles, books, and many other fun games to play, hell they could even train, his room was incredibly big too, quite the spacious room.


He spoke as he placed his forehead on hers“Call me with formalities, and I will stop talking to you, I can't have you go home alone at night, and I don't feel like taking you home. Spend the night here~”

After Chihiro had asked him that, he pouted like a child. She'd never seen this side of him before. Shortly after, he got up, took her by the hand and began to lead her down a long, marble hallway. His large hand felt warm and just as Chihiro started to wonder where he was taking her, they stopped in front of a large door. It was made of high quality wood and had elegant carvings on it that were also western in design. Julius then opened the door and led her inside. Inside was a large room filled with many books and puzzles and in the far corner, there was a bed, that was when Chihiro realized that they were in Julius's bedroom. Julius then let go of her hand, turned to face Chihiro and put his forehead against hers. “Call me with formalities, and I will stop talking to you, I can't have you go home alone at night, and I don't feel like taking you home. Spend the night here~” once Julius had said that, Chihiro's face went bright red. She couldn't believe the words coming out of his mouth. When she managed to snap out of the shock she was in, she spoke up. "but Julius sa-.... Julius k-kun, I couldn't possibly even consider spending the night here. Besides, Miki and the others back at the estate would be worried sick if I didn't return home." She didn't understand why she was acting so strangely. Could it be that she was in love with Julius after all? After a few moments of silence, Chihiro spoke once more, ok, I'll stay here, is their another room that I'll be sleeping in? if Chihiro did turn out to be in love with him, she wanted to know how he felt about her as well.

Just  what he wanted to hear, he smiled happily knowing she's willing to stay, he glared, at the room around him, glanced at her, and glanced at his bed, hinting the she'll be sleeping with him, but then he broke the awkward statement by a giggle as he watched her reaction, and spoke gently “I'm kidding of course~You can sleep with my little sister, or wherever you like” pause “Or with me~” He whispered to her ear, and backed away with his arms crossed, he would then draw a book from the shelf beside him.


He'd sit down and begin reading as he awaited her response, he would keep his gentle aura covering the mood in order to not make her feel uncomfortable, he would also reassure her by saying “Feel free to do whatever you feel like doing, think of my house as if it's your house~”
It was pleasant, having his friend here, he enjoyed it, but was she only a friend, he perish that thought and glance at her, and blush, and hide his blush by lowering his head and reading his book, she was cute, and beautiful, had a sweet personality, and a sweet voice, did he think of her as a friend only? He had to confirm both, his feelings, and hers.

Chihiro just looked on at the smiling Julius, he then looked at her then the bed as if to tell her she'd be sleeping with him. That only made Chihiro blush big time. When he saw her blush he got up from his bed and approached her. “I'm kidding of course~You can sleep with my little sister, or wherever you like” pause “Or with me~” When he said he was just kidding she felt a bit relieved of course, that didn't last long, because the moment he whispered into her ear, she turned bright red. Now, Chihiro was at a loss for words. She didn't know what to say. Never in her life had she ever acted this way around someone. She decided, now was a good time as any to confirm his feelings. She cleared her throat and spoke up. "Um... Julius, how...how do you feel about me? Do you see me ass merely a friend or something more? Because I think I may see you as more than a friend, but my heart is confused. I've never felt this way before in my entire life nor have I ever became flustered like this around someone either. So how do you feel about me?"as she watched him read his book siting on the bed, she could tell he was blushing because his ears were red. She anticipated his reply. She was finally able to say how she felt but she had a sinking feeling thT if he just thought of her as a friend it would masks Chihiro sad.

Her words....

They left the boy blushing as his eyes swallowed words that appeared on the page he continued to read, he wasn't ignoring her he was merely confirming his emotions, for a long time he knew not what to describe his emotions, something as confusing as love would surely not sit well with him, he felt slight tingling in his heart, he felt happy whenever he saw her, she was a person he enjoyed being around. He took to his feet, pacing the distance between them, and softly caressed her hair with both of his hands as he gently held her head, he would wrap his arm around her waist as he pulled her in close, his face and hers a single centimeter far from one another, he spoke as he gazed into her eyes “Sorry~ I can't reply to your question, however, maybe what I feel is love after all....I never was sure of my emotions, but being with you makes me happy. That, I'm sure of.” Was his reply, he didn't decline her confession, but he didn't answer, well he perhaps did, he spoke the truth, he never lied, he didn't answer straight away because he was afraid of his emotions....To himself he's a stranger, and because of himself he hesitated.
