Mission: Build a Bridge (Repeatable):

Kirigakure has been at war now for quite some time. Much damage has been done, and plenty of hard work was to be done at home to ensure success. But this hard work has not been very evident lately. Workers have been slacking off since the Mizukage's death, and they've lacked orders. With the civil life going on without moderation, progress was moving slowly, and the city's backbone was also threatened by others who did not wish to see such progress. Mercenaries from beyond have seemed to delay plenty of building in between the main land and its islands. Many young ninja in various locations of these building sites were called for assistance. Some to motivate and guide the workers, and some to protect them from the ever possible sabotage of foreign mercenaries.

Dovy Hozuki was called to partake in such a mission, and it was a proud day for him. Outside of the war, this was his first official C Rank assignment. Though these missions are generally not lethal, one could expect some danger. Most importantly, Dovy was partaking in this by himself. His team was yet to be assigned, and though he grew impatient of having his squad, his confidence was still strong, for he had been through worse. Avast, he was to aid his people by helping workers build a bridge. Dovy stood nearby the work site and pulled out his assignment. It read:

“We need paths between our islands as well as to the mainland. But, with the reins of power slipped after the last Kage’s death, they’ve either become complacent or are having trouble. Aid them, and get progress back on track”

For the young lad, he was given specific orders to scout the area and make sure that the workers were kept safe. His body stood up straight as he held is cutlass to his side. Slowly, he walked to a cliff which gave him an overview of the bridge being built. He patiently waited there and observed his surroundings to make sure everything was safe and sound. Seeing how far they had to go, it would probably take them about a week to finish the current bridge that they were working on. Unfortunately, Dovy was a ten year old boy, probably unable to motivate grown men with his childish high pitched voice. The only thing he could do to ensure progress, was to be their guardian angel, and keep the workers safe from harm. For most of the day, there was no tension or suspicion. It was clam and dark, just like any other day in Kirigakure no Sato.

Suddenly, a few hours later, something caught Dovy's eye. There appeared to be some men running toward the workers. Three from the south, and two who were actually under the bridge this whole time. The lad was disappointed in himself that he failed to notice them earlier. He stood up and gave a loud whistle to signal the workers. They immediately they evacuated the bridge, each picked up their own self defense weapon and stood to the side to protect themselves. These mercenaries were old and lightly armored, and made Dovy almost chuckle to himself. It wasn't going to be much of a challenge to take out these fools. He leaped off of the cliff and approached the men who were taunting the workers to give up their valuables.

"Oy, how be ye little pansies?" the tiny ten year old boldy asked, and he immediately got the attention of all five mercenaries. Each started to laugh at child who tried to appear as a threat, but boy were they foolish. "Come on' now. How about you walk away before we cut you up ya little brat." they threatened. Dovy's temper grew short, how dare they underestimate him. He slowly pulled out his cutlass and pointed it at the group. Two were wielding swords, and the other three appeared to be hand to hand fighters. "Would any of ye wish to have a duel?" Dovy asked knowing there were only two to choose from. Proudly, one of them stepped forward and pulled out his blade. "Let's make this quick, huh?" the man said with a grumbly voice. Dovy most definitely agreed.

The man threw a vertical cut toward the short lad, but his cutlass easily blocked it--quickly, his swiped his blade toward the man's right rib, but his strike was blocked as well. Pushing him off, the man furiously thrusted his blade forward, but Dovy was much faster than that. With a step to the side, he dodged the blade and cut off the mans hand. Screaming in pain, he and his crew were shocked. With Dovy's free left hand, he threw his punch directly at the man's face and knocked him out, sending him tumbling on the floor. His crew was furious, and the other three men ran at Dovy together, attempting to out number him. "Teppōdama!" Dovy used his tiger seal and shot six water balls at the incoming mercenaries, two each. SMACK! They were each hit directly like fools and went flying backwards, also knocked unconscious. The last man looked frightened.

The final mercenary dropped his weapon. "I surrender, just please, let me go--or arrest me. What have it, just don't hurt me!" The man begged as he got on his knees. The workers were surprised, and they were amazed to see such a young man kick so much ass. Slowly they began to talk amongst themselves. Dovy slowly walked up to the mercenary, and the man looked up to see his face. "Wait...Y-you. That face." he said with big eyes. "Who are you?" he asked. The young lad raised his eyebrow with curiosity. "Dovy Hozuki. Yer under arrest mate." He responded. "D-Dovy Hozuki...Yer. Mmm. Yes. Never mind me." The young lads face was blank, confused. Is this man familiar with Dovy's past? After all, they were awfully close to the Islands. Perhaps this man had relations with pirate. Avast, Dovy did not question him. "Jonni...yer boy's alive--and he's strong just like you." the mercenary thought to himself with a smirk. Still confused, Dovy cuffed him and his unconscious  men and put them under arrest for the ANBU to question. The rest of the workers were able to finally continue working on the bridge in peace.
