Day 6~

"Time for a new boost: Speed."

Training.

Simple, yet excruciating. Sounds hard, but really it's not. Still a little hard, though. Depends upon the work ethic he puts in. Jurou thought this, many times. As his father told him: "Quiet your mind; yet, calm the storm. Drown out all disturbance. Put your body in an eternal resting. Then when you are done resting, open your eyes." He remembered every word, every phrase, every sentence. His father and grandfather were true mentors when it came to Jurou's training, simply removing one's body from all else and stay in one place, relaxing the mind and stay true to what your movements predicts. The Osada were meant to be shinobi's that kept things at a mellow pace; both hot and cold (water at freezing temperature, 32 degrees Celsius.) That is why Boil Release was created, to let off steam when the emotion of anger is at a high rate. All of this talk and thinking about the past had Jurou in a state of mind; a state of mind that precedes to be stated, "If you train in silence, everything will commence perfectly." That was the life lesson he learned from his father and from his father' father: Calm your body and free your actions.

Still inside the Underground, relaxing from his last training, Jurou decided to do a more direct approach, away from Ninjutsu. Still needing chakra for this jutsu, he sighed, thinking that doing this training might take longer than expected. "Void Walk. Alright then." Taking a deep, consulting breath, he made sure his body was not tense, or having tight muscles. This was a speed boost, a jutsu that consults of high velocity and kinetic control; meaning the action takes place with the mind control. This might be a good idea, considering that in most fights, speed is the winner.

A wide area; big space. Diameter of 50+ meters with the radius of 25+ meters. A perfect spacing for this speed boost jutsu. Consoling chakra in his legs, he felt the chakra in his legs, condensing it solely in his thighs, knees, and shins. First and foremost, an opponent. Putting his two fingers together, he gathered his first opponent. "Fire Release: Fire Clone Technique." His Fire Clone arose from smoke, looking at Jurou while backing up away from him. The clone knew what Jurou wanted to do; testing out his new jutsu. The clone stood back at a long 35 meters, contemplating on the fact of how long the distance of the jutsu will be, but most importantly, how fast. Of course this jutsu would take only speed and finesse, but Jurou wanted to perfect the jutsu.

Here goes the First Try: There was a quick zoom. A flash; straight forward. A sudden burst of speed, extreme speed. Faster than anything that seemed like it. It was a little too much speed that Jurou lost control and ran into a cave wall. Face smash. Ouch. Little bleeding streaming his forehead at the moment. His clone was still standing in the same spot, hearing the thud and his master on the ground, facing upward. Running toward his master, he helped Jurou up and stood right back to the same spot. Jurou, on the other hand, walked back to his starting point. Feeling the numbing pain of his forehead ringing like church bells, he thought to himself quietly, "What was that Jurou? What was that?" Getting a feeling that his inner alternate ego is talking to him at the moment. Jurou gave a low, anticipating growl, indicating that this was not the time to playing games.

Here goes the Second Try: Focusing his mind on nothing else, he took a deep breath; exhaled slowly. Giving his body a small shake, his muscles relaxes, feeling a chill down his spine. This is his jutsu, a speed jutsu, to help him in many battles. Addressing the speed he has now, this would be 8x faster than the original. He concentrated his eye sight, fixing them on the Fire Clone. Closing his eyes, entering his mind frame, it was but a blur, sinking into darkness. Then, Empty. He opened his eyes, and darted his way towards his clone, only to end up right back there to the same hole. What was he thinking of now? Why is he messing up so badly on the first two tries? Maybe because of his concentration; focusing too much on the outcome than the actual jutsu. He needed to clear his head of all distractions, then maybe he can perfect the jutsu. He knew the perfect person to help him do so. The clone dispersed into flames as Jurou sat on the ground, thinking. How can he perfect this jutsu?

Thinking the same procedure as he did two days ago, he felt an enormous chakra coming his way. No doubt it was Isshin, the taijutsu specialist. They used to been partners ever since they were Academy students, although they did not get along well. While being apart of the ANBU, Isshin defected the ways of the Mizukage and left the village, becoming an A-rank missing nin wanting to learn new abilities. And fortunate for Jurou, Kenjutsu was one of those abilities. Isshin stood at a good 5'6", weighing at a muscle-toned 150 lbs.

He wore the traditional ANBU clothing, fairly light mixed with dark skin, black unkempt hair and blue eyes. His voice was cold, yet brutal with a passion for fighting. This was not the same Isshin from years ago.

The night was young and beautiful.... despite the battle field full of blood and gore from the two opposing forces, Isshin and Jurou. They were comrades of the same rank, until when Jurou won the Chunin exams. Isshin went off to get much stronger so he can match Jurou's power. But to be evil at the same time, "I guess power does come with a price."

Isshin motioned his hair, blocking his eyes, back to the rest of his hair. He looked at his teammate with his sword in his hand, holding a calm and relaxed look on his face. He spoke; saying, "You called for my assistance?" Isshin said, sniffing the smell of blood in the air as his cuts and bruises stayed on his skin, also with Jurou.

Isshin knew his presence at this cave for some odd reason, to help out his bestfriend with his jutsu. "A speed jutsu. Aren't you already fast enough? Why go even faster?" Isshin did not get the idea of why Jurou would even do such a thing.

Jurou gave a small, yet annoying sigh as he shook his head sideways while placing his right hand on his forehead; stating, "I'm not in the mood for explaining. Either you help me with this training, or you can leave; it does not matter to me at this point of time."

"A little bit cold don't you think?" Isshin spoke, feeling an emotion of hurt from his best friend's words. Wow, Jurou really did change over the years.

"...And what makes you say that?" Jurou questioned his comrade's question, in a voice that only sounds like the ocean sparkling on a sunset.

Isshin looked upward, then answered, "It's been a long time since you acted like this or said those type of things. I remember back when we were genin, you didn't like or appreciate anyone of that manner; not even our sensei." When the three departed from each other, their sensei died in battle, going to the funeral and then held a departure party in his absence.

"..." Jurou did not want to remember that at this point of time. The whole point of Isshin being here is to help Jurou with his jutsu, meaning drown out ALL distractions during this jutsu. "Let's concentrate on the real reason why you are here please." He sighed after what he said, indicating that he was bored of all this talk about nonsense. Isshin did nothing but what he was signed here for; taking steps back to a mere 35 meters, presumably where Jurou's fire clone was at the time. "Whenever you are ready.

Here goes the Third and Hopefully Final Try: Isshin was now in a state of mind, thinking; "Drowning out all distractions; blanking the mind." Isshin opened his mouth, his voice projecting a loud tone, saying, "The object of this jutsu is to stop when you have reached the distance you want to reach. In order to stop, you have to move your body upward in a slashing motion with your sword." That was it. Jurou finally found out what was his problem, he had to stop from the dashing distance by leaping up from the ground in a matter of 3 inches and slashing his sword so that the opponent be pushed off the ground and into the air, similar to a running uppercut to the chin or mouth. Why did he not think of this before?

"Let's hope you are right." Jurou said with a soft tone in his voice as he focused his chakra on his legs. It was all but a blur then. The sudden burst of speed kicked off of Jurou. Racing toward Isshin, Jurou swiftly unsheathed his wakizashi while during Void Walk and kept the grip in normal-hand. He brought his dominant hand to his face as the blade of the sword moved upward, so did Jurou's body. Jurou took a small leap of the ground, amazed at how the jutsu stopped instantly when Jurou got off of the ground. When he got back on the ground, he still felt the tingling sensation in his legs, meaning the jutsu was still in its process.

"Well, what do you know..." Jurou finally perfected the jutsu. Isshin vanished after it was complete.
