Strafe Aisu

Strafe Aisu

D-rank
Dual colored eyes beamed with hate as they searched the area for the enemy. They were going to pay for this. So much death. Many of the bright faces that made Kirigakure so wonderful were mauled and tattered when they entered the hospital to meet their death. Those faces were memories he would never forget. Not to mention that he had been close to death himself. Mizuru....the witch that had cause so much pain and destruction during this war. Strafe could only hope that she died painfully and slowly. He shook his head to clear his mind of those thoughts as his dark blue hair rustled in response. He dawned his usual attire of white and blue. On his back rested two staffs in the shape of an x, and behind was just an empty space. Unfortunately, Momaru was not with the Sannin on this day. He was defending the hospital, at Strafe's request. After seeing it become an attack target on a regular basis, he couldn't leave it defenseless. Not after everything those people had done for him. Then the memories started to flood back to his mind. It was like he was reliving some horrible nightmare that would not fade away from his mind. Her face was all he could see and his body trembled with anger in reaction. The bitch would die, if not by his hands, than by another of his allies. They would not win. They couldn't. He wouldn't allow them to.

Flashes of that battle raced through his head as he moved towards the shore line. How could he have been so stupid? He left one small opening and she almost killed him for it. He could remember the reflection of the sun off her blade as it shot through the air. The horrid sound of steel mauling flesh as it entered and exited his own body. The sound of Mamoru's voice roaring with anger as he realized what happened. The strength being drained from his body almost instantly as he slumped to the ground, clutching his side. Had he not been close to the hospital, he would have surely died that day. He owed everything to Mamoru who carried him there and the medical ninja that healed him. Some of them he taught personally. It would not happen again. He would not be on the sidelines for any more of this war. He had missed too many days because of injury. This time, it would be his enemy who fell to the ground in defeat. This time, he would be triumphant.

As he came back to reality from one of the many flashbacks he had, he saw the pearly white sand, and the streaks of blood that polluted it's beauty. He saw a glorious ocean filled with the torn remains of vessels and bodies. He increased his speed, moving towards the water without hesitation. He had been informed of an unusual techinque that Seven Bells' Army had been preparing. He was asked personally to make sure everything went according to plan here, and he would do just that. As his sandals were coming down to touch the water, the started to glow with chakra. The Supernatural Walking Practice. A basic but important jutsu in the art of fighting. His hand reached back to a weapon that still seemed unfamiliar to him in a way. It was a blade that represented so much, it was the double edged staff known as Raidaichi. The fact that this staff was in his possession meant that he was a Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, despite the fact that he did not feel like one at the moment. In some odd way, he felt like he had to prove himself to everyone that he deserved the honor that had been bestowed upon him. Something he planned on doing before this war ended. The staff was spun around stopped in front of him as he rushed forward, actively searching for the man that was described. He didn't get to do that for very long though, as he instantly saw why his presence was needed.

In what seemed like an instant, the older looking man on a distant boat summoned what looked like to be a giant squid of some sort. Strafe's eyes narrowed in thought as he immediately started to study the creature and it's appearance, movements, and any other piece of information that could be helpful. He saw as a Kirigakure ninja jumped towards it only to be swatted away like a ragdoll by one of it's many tentacles. It seemed that the Sannin now had a very big target to take care of, which was fine with him. He had been needing to let off some steam anyway. This was the perfect time to try out his new weapon. He grasped the staff loosely with both hands and started to spin it, smiling as it started to crackle with raiton energy. While he personally didn't use raiton jutsu, he knew how effective it was on water based jutsu and creatures. If he was successful with this attack, he could help avoid allowing this creature to do great amounts of damage to the ninja around him. He rushed forward, still spinning his staff with precision as he darted towards the creature. He was a good few meters away, but hopefully the creature would notice him. He needed to distract the squid so he didn't annihilate the forces that were here. All he needed were a few minutes and this creature will be dead.

Sanosuke

Sanosuke

D-rank
Damn I hate patrol... Sanosuke thought to himself as Navi and him were walking through the shoreline of Kirigakure as he was on patrol of some sort of anomaly that was supposedly reported to be found near this area. Sanosuke was wearing his usually shinobi attire of his baggy black training pants that were laced with multiple chains looped through by the rings of kunai normally located at the bottom of the pointed projectile. His normal black skin tight, high colored long sleeved shirt that was underneath his cloak like short sleeved burgundy shirt of the ancient wasp armor. On his back was his normal sword that he wielded since he was a genin, and on his hands were his wasp armored gauntlets that had more powers than it would let it looked. Letting out a yawn, Sanosuke turned around to each time to his left and right to find the abnormal thing that he was reported to search for. Multiple times, Sanosuke had sent Navi to go look for anything strange that went by that definition, but each time she came back empty handed. It almost made the jounin just want to call it a day and just report there was nothing significant of the area in questioned. There were jobs where Sanosuke did extraordinary things, but this was too mundane for him.

After waking up and getting something to eat, Sanosuke and Navi went over to the Kiri alliance's mission control to see if there were any work to be done for the two of them. When they got there, someone there in charge told him that a mysterious shinobi whose alliance is unknown is near Kirigakure's seas and as such investigation is needed; observation of what the stranger is doing is required. He also told the kumogakure jounin that the Kiri Sannin Strafe Aisu, was also deployed near that area to investigate the same thing. So essentially Sanosuke was to go on patrol near his area and regroup with the sannin to compare notes with what the high ranked Kiri shinobi had noticed in the area. Sounded rather dull and boring for his taste. Ever since the war Sanosuke had been doing all sorts of high ranking tasks, but this right here was too boring for his taste that it made him want to just sleep in and give it to a chuunin or someone even lower. Then again the shinobi might be a Seven Bells shinobi that might have some useful information on him, so that was one reason to go after him. Throughout the hike the two of them were on, Sanosuke and Navi were able to pinpoint the location of where Strafe was in the area, he wasn't too far just about 50 meters away.

Sanosuke had seen the man in question multiple times but he was always just sitting in a boat not doing anything. That was why he was securing the parameter to make sure the man hadn't done anything to the environment should he be hostile of course. After his 4th go around of the surrounding environment, Sanosuke decided to stay on shore and just watch the man and wondering what he would do. Weight was being added to his eyelids the longer he tried staying up to watch the man just sit there on his boat. It was as though gravity was increasing around his eyes. Navi was flapping around bored as well of just watching what was happening. She was even close to falling asleep on the jounin's shoulder. Small buzzing noises can be heard as she would slip into sleeping for 5 seconds to hear her buzzing snoring sounds. But then she would wake up to keep watch with Sanosuke for a while. He had to admit that this whole watching thing was getting him bored as well. "Sano, when is something cool going to happen?" Navi began to say before she was interrupted by a yawn. When she had stoped yawning, she continued speaking more tiredly than before. "We've been here for hours and not a si="

BOOM!

The sound of some large cannon going off made Sanosuke snap out of his bored daze and stood bolt right. Fortunately, the sound was large enough to shake Navi awake and get her in full attention. It was as though someone had thrown ice cold water down her back; that is if she had one. Both of them were awake to see something that they have never encountered before in their lives. It was a gigantic squid! The sound of a large cannon going off was the squid going off, it made Sanosuke's body shake as he felt the earth under him was shaking when the gigantic summoning was summoned by the user of the jutsu which was the mysterious cloaked man that was doing nothing on his boat for the past hour. There was no doubt in his mind that this shinobi was definitely Seven Bells shinobi. Before Sanosuke could even dash to catch the man, he disappeared with body flickering jutsu. The jounin cursed under his breath as he missed his chance to capture the person responsible for summoning suchba monster to just destroy. What Sanosuke felt bad for was that there was one shinobi whom saw the creature and tried to stop the creature by himself. The shinobi looked about 13, so just barely out of the academy genin. It was a pity, that the shinobi threw his life away because he was so overconfident in his skills; he had so much to live for.

From his point of view, he already saw Strafe on the move to intercept the squid from proceeding any farther into Kiri territory. It would be wrong for him to be there with the Kiri Sannin during this time of national security. The Sannin was skilled, he would give him that since one doesn't become a Sannin just like that, but against such a large beast Strafe was going to need all the help he could get. Besides Sanosuke was getting bored. Focusing chakra on his feet, Sanosuke ran across the ocean to meet Strafe with Navi following behind her partner's movements. When he was close enough, the jounin stopped so he was standing side by side with Strafe. "We meet again Kiri Sannin. Strafe was it?" Sanosuke smirked signaling to the man that he was here to help. Bringing his hands together, Sanosuke clapped them loudly so the sound of metal meeting metal would be heard from Sanosuke's gauntlets as he pulled them away from each other to have blue lightning popping from in between his palms until two twins swords appeared between the popping of the static. When it died down, Sanosuke gripped the swords and got in a stance. As usual, Navi was 30 meters away from Sanosuke at all times so she had an easier time dodging blows but was close enough to assist him when needed.

The squid was watching as Sanosuke summoned his swords with lightning was looking frightened at the lightning he was summoning. As soon as the kumogakure jounin had summoned his swords, he noticed that a shadow was slowly engulfing the area that Sanosuke and Strafe was in. Looking up, Sanosuke saw a large 70 meter tentacle coming their way to bat down the two from up top. Cursing under his breath, Sanosuke leaped to the left to dodge the squid's attempt to turning him into the pancake of Kumo. Rolling under the strike, Sanosuke got himself back to his feet and sneered. "Looks like someone doesn't like lightning, that's too bad for you then!" Sanosuke teased as he began his charge right for the gigantic squid that was now enraged that his meal was fighting back. Well Sanosuke did wanted excitement, so this was something.

Deadliest Catch [Seven Bells/Sanosuke/Open] Advent10
Seven Bells Saga
The Long Road Arc
Act Two: Psalms of Oomi
Scene Two: Release The Kraken! … wait, what?

Rolling in, and retreating back….
The white foam of the sea beyond the sands of the shoreline played against the borders of the great village. The sea teased, tickling the edge of the village. It was as if some game were played between the land and ocean. Poseidon himself seemingly wanting to one day simply swallow the land of the bloody mist whole one day. Perhaps he were merely awaiting the proper time to bring such destruction upon this proverbial Atlantis. Ironic that its ‘Queen’ had a erected a pillar, and upon it engraved law, that its people had once been so great only to have lost their luster beneath greed and seas of blood… The parallels were striking and the foreboding nature of the sea itself did justice the thing that would be upon them soon should their greatest warriors be unsuccessful.

Far out on the sea, silently a masked apparition standing alone in a small boat performed a series of handseals… blood was drawn. The past few days had seen nothing like this…

The past few days… what could she say about the past few days? What would be the phrase she used when people asked; ‘What was it like when Seven Bells attacked?’ Hell, what would they call this event in her history? The girl tapped her lip thoughtfully as she pondered what effect this whole ordeal might have on her future role as the Mizukage. A deep and heavy sigh followed as she came to a realization – no one would know of her contributions. She’d done nothing of true note since the nukenin had laid siege to the city. Not once had she taken on some high value target, nor had she so much as dealt some significant blow to the enemy forces. Who would tell stories of Oomi and the Arbalest, or her half successful defense of the high ranking officials in the villages forces. She was just another nameless soldier that would blend into some passing sentence.

The girl’s head fell to the right in defeat, into her waiting hand. “Humph.” She pouted in frustration. Once again she was finding that she was foiled by her lack of strength. There was another deep and heavy sigh as the young woman’s eyes lazily closed for a moment. “Got to get stronger…” She said in such a low whisper that even the wind would have strained to hear her.

The waters tendrils reached up to caress her toes for a moment. The cool water sent a chill running up her legs and into her spine. The girl smirked slightly. She’d not felt the prick of cold and yet her body had reacted – she’d visibly shivered. It was a welcome thing to have it accompany the memory of the oceans touch. She pushed her feet forward, hoping that they might become further inundated by the perpetual ebb and flow at the shoreline. She dared not scoot closer, for fear that the water might reach to far up her legs. There was no telling how cold it actually was – the water, or outside in general. She didn’t want to catch a cold after all… The young Kiri kunoichi shifted slightly digging herself a little deeper into the sand of the shoreline. She’d been sitting here for what must have been hours, looking out at the sea. Somewhere beyond her line of sight she was sure that the fleets of both Kiri and Konoha were engaged in some deadly battle. If only she could see it. Arms stretched out at either side of her body, and her chest was poked out. The audible pop of various bones cracking was lost beneath a sudden boom in the distance, however.

“What the…?!” Oomi swiftly leapt to her feet. Perhaps the battle was getting closer, what if the shinobi of her homeland were losing the fight? “They need me!” Like a flash of lightning Oomi was off, the simplest of ninjutsu used to carry her effortlessly across the open waters. Of course, the girl was overreacting to a noise, she shouldn’t have gone running head first into unknown like that. It didn’t matter to her in the slightest, however. In truth she’d just been looking for an excuse to invite herself on a mission that was well beyond her rank. Not that she had some kind of death wish, but because it would be these missions that would gain her the renown she sought. Because it would be through trials and tribulations that she would make a name for herself, not planting chakra infused rocks near the border.

God… if only she’d been a bit more prepared for the demon she’d soon face. A thing so large that she not gotten within 150 meters of it before she was momentarily frozen with fear. The monster batted away shinobi as though they were not but flies – a mere annoyance. Other ninja cowered, retreating to safer distances. Yet, two…two shinobi stood out on the water, staring the great beast down. One she could vaguely recognize the silhouette of, she’d never actually seen nor met him, but one can assume she’d have heard quite a few stories about any particular Sannin. The girl became giddy at the idea for the briefest of moments. The second was even less familiar, though the flash of lightning was more than enough to discern that he too must be someone quite powerful. The two remained in stark defiance even as the beast swung a mighty tentacle that Oomi feared might reach her even at such a great distance. When it came down it hit the water so hard that a shockwave was sent across its surface, one so powerful that Oomi was thrown back another fifteen meters by the subsequent waves.

“Oh my god…” Fear ran through the girls body like some rabid dog on the loose. Her muscles were tight, frozen stiff with indecision. Eyes were beginning to burn due to sea water and a lack of blinking. Her heart was pumping harder than it ever hard before… she was loving this. A wide grin ran across Oomi’s façade. “Now’s my chance.” Her bottom lip was drawn into her mouth and trapped there by her teeth. Already she was manipulating that unique entropic chakra of hers, augmenting the energy which her muscles could release. She’d be faster, not nearly faster enough… but something told her it would be her speed that kept her alive today. The fear that welled in her was slowly begin replaced by an unhealthy dose of adrenaline. Muscles that were frozen, loosened… and then tensed once again, bunching in preparation to carry her at top speed across the distance that separated she and her soon to be battle companions.

Admittedly… there was a moment’s pause. Should she even be here right now?
The moment stretched for what seemed an eternity…

Another day.........another hour.......another minute

~And Another Second~

The water welcomed his body coldly as It floated on the surface of the water, but soon It's cold welcome changed Into a warm embrace, one that fitted his body temperature, Tsuneo was embraced by the water and caressed by the wind as he floated on the ocean's surface. he was In his grew boxers cooling off from all of the stress that's wearing him out.

It was a beautiful day, everything was normal, and since he had the day off he thought he'd have a little bit of  fun  In the ocean, somehow this was the commander's Idea,  Tsuneo wasn't too comfortable knowing It was the slave driver's Idea, but from what was seen, one would suppose It was a good Idea, except that It's not, It was like an ocean of corpses, corpses were all over the shore, the blood tainted sand, made quite the horrible decoration for the ocean, Tsuneo cam her to chill, not to kill, but kill was written all over this ocean's shore, Tsuneo saw two people he had heard about.

The first was one of the legendary sannin of Kirigakure, the other was the legendary wasp sage, he had done some good research  on this hotshots, but what was most concerning, was their being on this part of kirigakure, what a coincidence,  there Isn't any suspicious thing about two hotshots being In here, along with Tsuneo.

The Stench of Death.........

It was another usual morning, Tsuneo was back from a mission the kept him through midnight, he reported to his commander as the usual after another slaughter, Seven bells was starting to lose the war, thanks to the efforts of everyone Including Tsuneo who was a thorn on his side, Tsuneo murdered many of his soldiers he was on a killing streak, Tsuneo might have killed over 1oo soldier of Seven bells's, His Imprisoned hatred, his imprisoned darkness, were both let out In this war, destruction Is all he caused, he let his rage eradicate all that's In his sight, Tsuneo went wild during this mission, he left none of seven bells's soldiers alive, too bad, he kind of got used to the war, It's been months If not a year since Kirigakure became this hell It Is now, many have died, and many were sacrificed, and bells was just sitting there on his throne, a pathetic man that wanted the crown of the mizukage, pretty pathetic  Is all he was, like a slime begging to be spit on, Tsuneo wanted to humiliate him, have him beg for mercy, the thought of It had Tsuneo grin flashing his teeth, his blood lust was begging to take over, but was calmed down by the gentle thoughts of his loved ones, Tsuneo was the last to know, that having so much people in his penetrate the barrier of solitude, he built around himself, would eventually restore his long lost heart, Tsuneo was saved by them and he's eternally grateful.....

Tsuneo's blood lusting grin changed Into a kind smile, perhaps fate wasn't such a bad thing, maybe It held more, something good was sure to come, Tsuneo's heart was revived by the love his friends passed on to him, maybe happiness was on the wa-

*POOF*

A large canon like sound roared throughout the ears of Tsuneo, as water came down on him as If It was raining Tsuneo's  look changed Into an annoyed one as he turned his back only to find a large squid In the middle of the ocean, It's tentacles were swung around In no specific manner, Tsuneo turned his back only to see shinobi coming at him like ants but what was truly Interesting was the squid's reaction, he was slamming shinobi like flies left and right, not a single one of them was left alive, Tsuneo lazily got up as he used the supernatural practice a technique used to walk on the water's surface, he stood on his shoeless legs, with nothing but his boxers on, Tsuneo brushed his hair to the back as he scooped the enemy out with his eyes, but all of a sudden he saw the sannin and the wasp sage run to him with Incredible speed, Tsuneo also noticed the sound of someone behind him and as they passed Tsuneo, he grabbed them with his improved speed from their collar, his eyes widened as  his left eyes started twitching, he then spoke In a pissed off voice saying "HAAA????? what the hell are you doing titty girl, ya know you could turn Into a boiled egg If you go there." Tsuneo let her reply, and then spoke "Tch.. whatever, just stay behind me and follow my lead...Oomi, you could die, I am speaking seriously, look around you, this Is a true battlefield, the stench of death fills the air, and despair overwhelms the atmosphere......look just stay behind me and act according to my orders.." he said as he patted the girl with a deadly tone, his words were whispered Into her ears, as he held her head, he then exploded towards the giant squid thingy, with unrivaled speed, Tsuneo stood ten meters away from the best as he looked at the two shinobi beside him, he then spoke "I'll be assisting you two, the name's Izuna." Tsuneo saw the reaction of the squid, which was the result of The sage flashing his blade of lightning.
Tsuneo then took a direct hint, this squid doesn't play any sort of video games, and he doesn't watch the television...Tsuneo started  his dance by dodging the ugly beast, as he awaited the perfect moment, to strike.

Strafe Aisu

Strafe Aisu

D-rank
Strafe's focus was momentarily diverted by the arrival of a ninja beside him. A quick glance was he needed to notice who they were and of what level they fought at. "Good to see you again..." Strafe was just about to continue speaking when another stood beside him with yet another behind them. He did not know either of these two ninja, but apparently they would be assisting him in this fight. Good. The more distractions the squid had, the easier it would be to land attacks. "I'm making this group of four the main attack force. Our mission is to end this creature's life. If I give an order, follow it. I do not know if I will have time to heal you with this creature's reach, so be quick on your feet. My name is Strafe Aisu, Sannin and Seven Swordsmen of Kirigakure. Let's take this thing down." He finished the statement with a devilish grin as he continued to spin the legendary staff in his hands. His eyes darted up to see a tentacle falling towards them. "Move!" Strafe said sharply as he darted to the left of it's targeted area and moved forward at the monster in front of him.

The staff he held started to spin more rapidly, moving faster than the eye could see. It glowed with electricity, almost ready to be used to it's full potential. It's beauty and grace matched it's power as it was worthy of it's title of Legendary. He had yet to see the lighting in full power, which was almost as exciting as the battle in front of him. He just had to bide a little more time. The raiton swords that the Kumo ninja held were also bright, making the large aquatic creature hesitant to let him in close. Even if the man did not succeed in his attack with the swords, he was serving as a perfect distraction, or so he thought. Suddenly, the creature opened it's mouth and released a large bullet of water in the shape of a shark at Strafe. Having little time to react. Strafe stopped and focused chakra into his feet, rapidly releasing it. With only a moment or two to spare, a large wall of ice rose from the glistening surface of the water, effectively blocking the suiton attack. The shark bullet crashed into the wall and dispersed. A sigh escaped from the lips of the Sannin as he knew how close that was. Still spinning his staff, he thought about his distance from the monster and how fast that attack moved. If they weren't careful, this monster could end any of their lives in multiple ways.

His though process was interrupted once again by the sight of a shadow spreading across the water below him. He darted to the right this time, dodging the tentacle once again. As it landed on the water, he could hear his ice wall shatter under it's force. He only needed a few more seconds for his staff to be ready. He could probably cut off the tentacles, or he could try to end the creature's life with the lighting he was going to release. He would have to wait until the right moment came, or the attack would be useless. "In a few more seconds, I will be releasing a bolt of lighting at the creature. Be careful not to be in between us. Being hit by it will most likely mean death and I won't be able to save you. I'll yell out a few moments before I release it. Be alert." He spoke aloud to his comrades as he watching the giant squid continue to swat at them wildly. Strafe weaved in and out of them, using his speed to his advantage, despite the large tentacles having considerable speed. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a tentacle sweeping across the water from his right. This damn over sized octopus was smarter than it looked. Releasing chakra into the water below him once again, six spears of ice rose from the water rapidly, impaling the the tentacle a few inches deep. A loud roar resounded across the ocean as the enemy registered pain. This was starting to get interesting. With that tentacle somewhat injured, one of his teammates could likely incapacitate that limb, taking away one of many worries in this battle. He just hoped that they could see such an opportunity and take it.

Strafe's grin was still present as he continued to move towards the gigantic target with his staff still spinning. The people of Kirigakure would be proud of him. This opponent was strong, fast, and versatile, and yet was struggling to land a hit on him. Of course, with how defensively sound he was, it made sense. His purpose was to keep himself and those around him alive, so Defense was something that he had focused on for a long time. Deciding to give the opponent something else to get mad about, he moved the spinning staff to the right side of his body. It still crackled and glowed with excitement as he continued to spin it. Molding chakra in his throat and mouth, he spit out a dozen needles of ice at the creature's eyes. He then glanced around to check on his teammates and the tentacles. He didn't want any surprises after all. If he needed too, he could use his Stunning Eye to make the creature immobile, but he only wanted to do that if someone needed healing. Using a dojutsu is not natural to him and takes considerable chakra. Especially if it is going to be effective on something this large. He continued to way his options as he moved forward. He was only about ten meters from the enemy at this point. He focused on the creature's body as he noticed his ice darts sunk only an inch in various parts of the body. Apparently, they didn't have much effect. Damn. He could only hope his staff did the trick. "Get his attention for the next few seconds, it's almost ready!" He yelled to his comrades, hoping they could give him enough time at such a close range. Dodging would be almost impossible at this point, which meant that he would have to counter the squid's attacks. If all else failed, he could freeze the immediate area to give more time. He just didn't want to use that much chakra.

Sanosuke

Sanosuke

D-rank
Sanosuke had fought and did many things in the name of the village hidden in the mist. He had fought against a horde of undead shinobi led by the recently deceased general and head medic of Seven Bells' forces, Io. He had seduced and might have possibly developed feelings for Mizuru the mistress of blades and Seven Bells' Second in Command, fought a gigantic scorpion, destroyed one of Io's most prized creatures he let wrecked havoc on in Kiri. But this? Fighting a gigantic squid summoning while on water would be put on the list of the weird things that Sanosuke had to do to defend a village that was not even his own. The brief exchange he had with the sannin, a shinobi that went by the name of Izuna, and a girl with rather tig ole bitties was cut short by the rampant squid. So we have a healer with us huh? That's good, that means I can cut back without much inhibitions of getting hurt. Sanosuke thought to himself as he got himself prepared for fighting by rolling on his shoulder on the sea's surface. When he got himself up, and dashed at the squid it was running rampant. It was mostly trying to keep Sanosuke away from him because of the showmanship of lightning he had pulled off with his twin swords Montague and Capulet. So this thing didn't like lightning, that was good because then Sanosuke had a lot of things he could do to the beast then to make it keep quiet.

One gigantic tentacle came at Sanosuke at high speeds that were fast even for something of that size. With a quick smack to the side of the incoming tentacle, Sanosuke was able to push it off it's course just briefly so he could use it as a springboard to skit to the side of the water's surface. His twin swords crossed each other in the form of an 'X' when the tentacle was coming right at him. When it got close enough, he disengaged the 'X' he made with his swords and proceeded with swiftly adjusting his swords so that they wounded it up for a powerful whack to the tentacle's sides to divert the path of the strike and also as a way to push himself off and continue running straight for the large beast that was before him. Though the amount of energy that it took just to divert the squid's strike was vast and left his arms feeling like spaghetti. Pain course through his arms as he held his swords to the sides of his arms while running. It almost made him want to drop his sole weapons, but doing so would mean death since he was nothing without his swords. What Sanosuke saw next almost made the blood in his body go arctic cold from the pain. No doubt that just taking on the strike of the tentacle, though he only met the force indirectly, caused his arms to be completely numbed from it. So taking hits from those things would probably kill someone, probably by having every bone in their body broken and shattered from the hit. Just deflecting the tentacle was like trying to push away a speeding train. If he was able to deal with the attack, then Strafe should have no problem with it. His only worry was for the low ranked shinobi that the two high leveled shinobi were to be working with. Hopefully there was more to them than meets the eye.

Taking a brief second to see the large squid fire a blast of water in the form of a shark right at Strafe, Sanosuke noticed how the sannin used a barrier of ice to protect himself from the attack. Though from the looks of things, the young man had barely gotten away from the attack by just peer reaction time and luck. The sound of bubbles forming underneath Sanosuke's very feet made the jounin look down and cursed at his bad luck. Leaping over to the side of the tentacle, Sanosuke narrowly avoided having his legs being ripped apart by 2 tentacles that were bellow his very feet. From the attack, Sanosuke was sent to a tumbling roll on the water's surface that was too much for him to break out off. Applying chakra to his sword, Sanosuke rammed his dual swords in the water's surface so that he could anchor his tumble to a stop. Water dripped down Sanosuke's face as his entire body was soaked in water. It seemed as though the tentacles weren't done and wanted more from the jounin of the clouds. Before they got the chance, Sanosuke cursed under his breath. It was close but he might be able to do it.

Swiftly focusing and with the skills of someone with years and years of experience, Sanosuke gathered the chakra that was coming from the water, the mist, the sand on the shore behind the group of shinobi, the fish in the water, and even from the oxygen they were breathing. It was a bit of a rush order but he got the job done. When focusing on gathering senjutsu chakra like that would normally have Sanosuke having to close his eyes for a period of time before he could activate sage mode. But with that single burst of natural chakra he collected, it was more like the wasp sennin blinked once and was in sage mode. The traditional white stripe was across his eyes as his body was caked with blue and silver chakra causing his body to glow majestically. With his new power, Sanosuke dashed right at the tentacles and jumped over it in one single bound from his legs. With that single flip, Sanosuke landed on the large tentacles and ran up it swiftly. As he ran, Sanosuke dug his swords inside the creature's oily skin so it would scream in pain and begin rampaging around trying to shake off the wasp sennin. Not for a single second did Sanosuke let himself get shaken off, all he would do was just jump to another limb of the creature and slash at it with his swords. His weapons wouldn't be enough to cause the creature to lop off its tentacles, but they would cause cuts from his blade to hurt like a bitch.

While rampaging, Sanosuke witnessed as the gigantic squid developed a ball of water from it's mouth. The ball was growing in size dramtically until finally it decided to fire it outwards. The ball turned into several water dragons. Oddily enough Sanosuke noticed that the water attack wasn't coming at Sanouke. His heart sank as he realized where the attack was truly aimed at. It was heading straight for the other shinobi that Sanosuke and Strafe were teamed up with. "NO!" Sanosuke cursed as he released the other portion of his kekkei genkei that made his left eye glow with a soft green hue. Power rushed trough Sanosuke's body as he felt his body get lighter and faster. Using the tentacle he was currently on as a spring board, Sanosuke leaped backwards at speeds that were much faster than sound and seemed to even rival light as. For those whom were looking at Sanosuke, it would seem as though he was just a streak of light that was coming to intercept the water dragons that were converging on one point at the two low leveled shinobi. When he got there, Sanosuke crossed his swords, and focused only on the suiton chakra going into his swords. Just when the dragons were close enough, Sanosuke roared and slash at the dragons as he was making a decent downwards towards the water's surface.

"Ekusukaribā" Sanosuke called out as he slashed at the dragons that were coming right at the two shinobi before he intervened. Focusing more and more water chakra into his swords, Sanosuke slashed the dragons right back at the krakken for it to get hit in the face with its own attack. The large beast was tettered off balance and was temporarily disorientated. Sanosuke looked over at Strafe to see how he was doing, it seemed as though the sannin was developing a technique that would put an end to the creature. "Navi! Give the man some cover, while I piss of the krakken over here." Sanosuke ordered his partner before darting off to press on his attack on the krakken. Navi would fly over to the sannin and protect the shinobi with a barrier that would protect him from most of the krakken's attacks so he would be safe while preparing his attack. As soon as Strafe was prepared, Navi would escape so she wouldn't be in the line of sight. Now it was Sanosuke's turn.

Dashing at the creature again, Sanosuke sidestepped each of the krakken's frantic attempts to keep the wasp sennin away from it. But they were in vain as Sanosuke was moving at extremely high speeds that the beast couldn't even keep up; it was like trying to catch a wasp. When he got close, Sanosuke ran up the face of the krakken and leaped upwards high in the sky before spinning downwards and delivering the krakken a harsh spinning axe kick to the head. Sanosuke gritted in pain as he krakken's head was as hard as steel, but the jounin smirked as that got the squid even more confused and disorientated. One tentacle was coming right at Sanosuke, but the jounin leaped backwards and spun around in mid air tightly with his swords in his hands and slashed at the incoming tentacle with enough speed guiding his swords to slach the tentacle clean off. A large bellowing sound could be heard as the squid was in agony from having its tentacle hacked off like that. Unfortunate for it, Sanosuke wasn't done yet.

Letting his swords disappeared in a showmanship of lightning, Sansouke let raiton develop in his right palm until yellow lightning was developing in his palms in the shape of a large disc that was buzzing with power. With a large battle cry, Sanosuke tossed out the lightning disc. "Eat this! Desctucto Disc!!" Sanosuke called out as he tossed his disc right at the tentacle that the sannin damage to lop off yet another tentacle from the beast. Now the creature was in pure pain as its cries filled the entire ocean with cries of pain and anger that it was made a fool of by some wasp man. When Sanosuke landed, it was in a crouched position in the same relative area of the Strafe gathering the chakra needed for his own attack on the beast while being in the middle of Navi's barrier. Clapping his hands together, Sanosuke once more summoned his swords while deactivating his kekkei genkei before getting himself ready to attack should the need arise.

He had already done enough damage to the beast, now it was time for the other shinobi to contribute....

Deadliest Catch [Seven Bells/Sanosuke/Open] Advent10
Seven Bells Saga
The Long Road Arc
Act Two: Psalms of Oomi
Scene Two: Release The Kraken! … wait, what?
Part II: Aye, Aye Captain!

…and then reality snapped back like a rubber band against skin.
A familiar voice had arrived, one belonging to Uzumaki Izuna. Oomi smirked slightly, she’d not admit it to him but she was happy he’d arrived. She had fought him after all and was well aware of his strength. Not that she doubted the pair of Sannin in the distance; it’s just nice to know that you’ve got more back-up - especially when you’re positive that you shouldn’t even be sticking your hand in this particular cookie jar, in the first place. Her gentle smirk became a full blown smile as she turned to face him. Of course, he’d ruin it all before his first sentence was even finished.

“I’ll just pretend you didn’t just call me that…” Oomi said with a slightly less than genuine chuckle before returning her attention to the large beast that lie off in the distance. She couldn’t deny the truth in Tsuneo’s warning. What good could a lowly Genin do against such a monstrous creature? Once smiling lips curled into a frown for a moment, only to be replaced by their prior state in some vein attempt to mask her doubt. “Yeah, yeah, yeah…” She’d not lost her confidence, but she couldn’t ignore the truth of the matter either.

Regardless when Tsuneo took off in the direction of the Sannin she’d been watched, those tensed and bunched muscles of hers did the same. He’d gotten faster since their last encounter, a thing that she noted. So much so, that he actually managed to leave her behind just a tad. Though, not by much as she’d been augmenting her own speed with techniques indicative of the Adechi Clan. Luckily, for the moment the Kraken was more focused on other things than to notice the pairs approach, and would be far more occupied in the coming moments. Maybe things were going to work out just fine…

“Adechi Oomi, at your service!” The girl chimed after Izuna introduced himself to the two. Her triumphant fist pump would punctuate Strafe’s intial sentence concerning his plans for the four of them. It wasn’t intended but was fitting. Her lips slipped into a wide grin, best to get all of her smiling done now before the running and screaming starts… “Right! We’ll kick this big baddies ass in record-“ Something was desperately wrong… A shadow was growing over the group. Mahogany eyes were shifted to gaze upward, where they found the massive tentacle of the monstrous beast coming down. Fortunately, the goddess of luck had been on Oomi’s side this day more than once and probably would continue to be so. Her position upon arrival set her just off to the groups left, which in turn placed her at the edge of the mass of the tentacle. She’d not have nearly as far to go in order to dodge it… But, it was still coming faster than she could move… However, it being such a large thing one can assume that it was raised quite some distance above her. Thus, she’d be gifted enough time to narrowly escape solely on the grounds of the distances involved.

No time was wasted in contemplating her next action, girl took off in a sprint further to the left. Yet, even as she moved the shadow grew ever larger, threatening to swallow her whole if she did not escape it soon. Thusly, the girl kicked off the waters surface and spun in a 180 degree angle, thusly turning around completely of course. As she did so she drew in a deep breath which was exhaled once she’d turned around. This sent her flying back 10 meters beyond the devastation caused to the oceans surface by the tentacle. Even with her supernatural walking practice activated, the girl slid an extra meter or so when she landed. Her heart was racing like it never had before. She couldn’t believe that she’d survived the ordeal, or the fact that she’d nearly died on the creature’s first nonchalant attack. Pride or shame?

Once again the beast was distracted, however, allowing the girl a moment’s breather. It seemed that the pair of Sannin were more than capable of holding their own, in fact they were leading the attack against the monster. Strafe, himself darted at the thing his staff twirling along the way. Surely, he was preparing some sort of attack. A lightning one at that. There could be no coincidence that both Sannin were choosing to use Raiton Chakra against this beast. It was defiantly weak against the element. That meant that Oomi could do it some harm… albeit only a small amount, but she’d be useful. The girl drew raiton chakra into her finger tips and prepared the bullets of lightning that she would fire at the Kraken soon enough. Meanwhile, Strafe had dealt with the beasts attack and prompted yet another one of its tentacles to come crashing down on the waters surface. This sent a wave across the area, that threatened to toss Oomi back another fifteen meters or so… and for a moment, she resisted. Yet, the sheer power that had been thrown into an attack of such strength was more than her lowly Genin abilities could handle.

Now 25 meters away from the creature, Oomi regained her composure in time to catch a glimpse of Sanosuke rolling out of the path of two tentacles that had come from beneath the water. Luckily, Oomi was offset far enough that these would not affect her current position. Her eyes narrowed on the man as he went about the strange task of calling upon his sage mode. It was the first time the young kunoichi had ever seen anything of the sort. Needless to say, she was not only impressed but simply awestruck as he took off not only toward the tentacles, but up one as well. The monster bellowed in agony as Sanosuke’s blades dug somewhat deeply into its flesh. It was at about this time, whilst Sanosuke was taking advantage of the distractions caused by Strafe that the distraction himself informed the group of his plan. Soon enough he’d be releasing a fatal lightning strike.

Time was almost up…

Ironic how true the thought was as a gaggle of water dragons were quite literally spit at Oomi and Tsuneo. There would be little time to avoid this, no… they were moving entirely too fast even at the distance that the young kunoichi was standing. She’d been stupid to stay in the same place for so long watching in compete awe as the others did battle. And now she was going to pay for it with her life. The girl tensed, and prepared herself for the impact she was sure she couldn’t avoid. She even went to prepare a jutsu, a subtle manipulation of her chakra that would allow her to simply cancel the fearsome jutsu.. yet, it’s scale… it’s scope… she knew it was too powerful for her. Yet, once again… that fickle woman Lady Luck proved to still be quite infatuated with the young ninja. In a flash of blinding light, even from a short distance away, Sanosuke had appeared, his weapons drawn. A slash followed and the dragons which were so intent upon devouring her were sent back at the Krakens face.

The beast became visibly disoriented; maybe things were looking up again? Now.. now was definitely her chance. The girl took off in a sprint to the far left, and began circling the creature. Fortunately, it was focused on Sanosuke at the time and she was able to avoid any tentacles that came to close by means of her simply not being their target. Once she’d rounded the beast, and was now looking into his eyes. The girl darted forward, hoping that the sudden loss of one of its tentacles would be more than enough to keep it occupied and not thinking about her. This would prove to be true. Eight arms or not, if you lose one.. well… and then it lost another. She would have more than enough time to close the distance between herself and one of those large round, soft, gelatinous eyeballs of his. Though the creature itself might have been of an SS Rank, one can assume that like any creature the eye would be a weak point, a point so soft that even the weakest of shinobi could take advantage of it.

Thusly, while still 15 meters out Oomi’s next step was not on the waters surface but on some falsely solid platform of air. The first step in her technique Heavenly Steps. She’d not use the second just yet, however. Instead, she’d kick off that false surface she’d created for herself and launch herself at the creature’s face. As she soared through the air at the monster which was still reeling in agony over the lost limbs at Sanosuke’s hands she kicked her right foot out, sending her body into a spin just under 8 meters from it. As she performed the kick chakra was sent down her leg, and to the point just where ankle met the top of her foot. Here a ball of Fuuton infused chakra formed that crackled with the small amounts of Raiton which was introduced. The ball seemingly was formed instantaneously and equal was the speed with which it grew to the size of a Beachball. Perhaps, not much smaller than the eye of the Kraken itself. The jutsu was flung with such force and speed that it would surely find its target, especially from such a close range while the Kraken was focused on finding and slaughtering the two Sannin that had caused it so much agony.

Genkairyu: Chōjō Fukai Shōgeki { Entropy Style: Superior Abysmal Impact }; the attack was impressive to say the least. Especially when considering that it was devised and performed by a lowly Genin. When the attack collide with the beasts eye, it let out a terrible howl as the ball of chakra first pressed its eye inward against whatever bone or cartilage might lie behind and then burst the thing beneath its pressure only to continue onward through the creatures skull. Lucky that the monster was of such a stature and strength, an even slightly lesser beast might have found that damaging ball of chakra lodged in its brain. Yet, instead the thing lost its strength though it did find that precious soft tissue – it simply lacked the power to do any damage to the brain itself. Needless to say, however, the loss of the beasts RIGHT eye would be detrimental. Not only to its ability to react in the future, but it would serve as a distraction for attacks in the here and now.

Unfortunately for Oomi, despite her success, which she celebrated with an overly exaggerated fist pump and a high pitched yelp of excitement, the Kraken would have its revenge! One of its remaining tentacles came hurtling toward her, aiming to swat her from the sky like a fly. Yet, she’d been prepared for this… though it would prevent her from performing a follow up attack that might have helped put a final end to this battle. The tentacle was coming from behind her, but the sound of it cutting through the air could be heard. Or perhaps someone had called out to her.. Whatever the case, the second step of her Heavenly Steps technique that had been enacted after her usage of the Superior Abysmal Impact jutsu was deactivated and gravity allowed to do its job. She’d not have been able to maneuver fast enough to avoid the thing, not on her own… but gravity, gravity would yank at her faster than the tentacle was coming. Or so she thought…

Having been caught while she was in mid-celebration, the girls left arm was still extended upward. Thus, it was in the path of the tentacle as it swept across the place its target should have been. The sound of bone quite literally snapping could be heard over all other things, at least as far as Oomi was concerned. First her forearm folded, bringing her balled fist to lie against the inside of her elbow… and yet that same elbow had already given way… shattered… The entirety of the arm yanked from its socket… yet she’d keep it. It would be some completely useless appendage for quite sometime, but she’d keep it… Blood filled the waters, where she now floated beneath the surface. Bone had broken skin as one might have expected.

And yet, Oomi seemed unaffected by the turn of events. She’d not felt the damage done to her arm, and it would be another half a second before she realized the blood was hers. But when she did… The girls eyes widened in horror, as her face emerged from the surface of the water. The noodle that was now her left arm was proof that she shouldn’t have come, that this creature could destroy her in a single blow if it so wished… and it certainly wished.

“Oi! I needed that arm, asshole!” Oomi yelped at the creature, as though she weren’t terrified out of her mind. She was loving it though, despite the fact that she’d managed to do so little. What Genin could say they’d damaged something so powerful in such a meaningful way, though? That smile she’d been flashing since her arrival returned and widened further than ever before. The sight of what was left of the eye seeping from the empty socket was worth the damage done to her arm, and no doubt the Sannin and Special Jounin that were with her would deal the blows needed to finish the job.

Hopefully, they’d keep an eye open for her though… she wouldn’t be able to avoid another attack… Not now, not from within the water…

Oomi has Intervened, that sunva bitch aimed to destroy her, but Tsuneo would never ever let him harm her, she's far too dear to him to allow her to get a scratch.

Drops of water, struck the surface of the ocean as they danced with the humongous monstrosity, It was now or never, Tsuneo was always a weakling that couldn't protect everyone, but now It's different, oomi has become his friend, he won't allow her to be hurt, or taken from him like the rest of his loved ones whom fell victims to the monstrosity of the world, and so he breathed

Exhale & Inhale~Inhale & Exhale~

Sweat rolled down his cheeks, his eyes burned with faith and dedication, his chakra was burning Inside of him his heart was racing, it was time to defy fate, to defy the laws that restricted Tsuneo to his despair, this Is the moment he was going to change, fate had written the script, the words were written, but the will of Tsuneo erased those words of his, It was time to take an action, his spirit started burning ever so beautifully, his chakra overflowed, as It covered the area with a tender touch that would strengthen his comrades, and his friend "Oomi." His eyes gazed Into the soul of the monstrosity, his chakra shone ever so brightly, It was almost visible, Tsuneo pushed fate out of It's chair, and took the pen from Its hands, It was time for Tsuneo to write, time for him to write his own story, this was his battle cry, his brave heart, his emotions overflowed. Tenderness, kindness, sadness, love, happiness, grace, beauty, despair, and.....Happiness.

BREATH!!!

The water beneath his feet, the wind caressing his body It felt ever so gentle. This was His moment, he never felt so alive, his chakra was overflowing, a beautiful tone lit his world, no more sorrow, no more pain, and no more sadness, this was his break through, his breathing became heavy, his eyes held tear, It was as If time has stopped, these thoughts came to him as oomi and the other two were dancing with the monstrosity, his skin became colder, cold sweat covered his body, fear of loss overwhelmed him again, but then a thunder bolt of the past struck the young Uzumaki, the hopes Instilled him, the dreams Instilled In him, he was a shinobi of the hidden leaf, and still Is, but now, It Is now that the will of fire truly shone Inside of him, he was burning with It, It took over him his fears, pains, they all disappeared, there was nothing but his gaze that reached the horizon of the world, his brave heart, and his undying determination, This was his moment, his great breakthrough, many of those that he loved If not all, died for him, protecting him, they were the ones that lit the path of Tsuneo, destruction Is no longer his path, hope was, Tsuneo danced with the monster of monsters, as he dodged all of his attacks, and as Oomi landed her blow, the squid threw It's tentacle at her, she was his target, he couldn't let It hurt her, no more, the ones he cares for will never get hurt again.

Tsuneo took the script fate had wrote and burned his pages as he opened a new clean page, and there he wrote, Oomi was attacked by the giant monstrosity, Tsuneo saved her, and together with their two comrades, they...killed It, no one was killed, and no one was hurt, they all returned with happiness In their hearts, they survived....that was a good thing, no one was sad, AND NO ONE, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF

THEM....WAS....HURT...AT...ALL.

Tsuneo's body shifted towards his friends, he moved gracefully, with speed and finesse, the tentacles were thrown at him as well but he'd just dodge them, his attention was split to four, his speed wasn't as great as expected perhaps? BUT, be what It may night or day, white, black, or grey, his comrades getting hurt was a Nay.

He moved with speed and finesse, as he dodged the attacks thrown at him, all he saw was his friend. The water beneath him, splashed all over, Tsuneo's rage, was now calamity, his eyes held Infinite light, he would definitely not allow anyone to get hurt, Tsuneo's eyes, were no longer the way they were. His eyes were not cold, his aura was no longer dark and deathly, but Instead loving and caring, a beautiful aura that brought tranquility to all those that stood around him, even the monster It self felt It, every bit of light, and every bit of pure life that existed, would bud Inside of him like thorn-less roses, he has reached....True tranquility.

As he closed the gap between him and Oomi he started his counter attack, It was fate versus Tsuneo, this monstrosity, was the mere ugliness and darkness this world had, It was time to end It.

Tsuneo finally reached his dear friend, he took hold of her and carried her, away from the monster, surely this friend of his, would feel the light Inside of Tsuneo, his eyes were no longer, the dark eyes he had, they didn't shine crimson red but Instead....beautiful bright white, Tsuneo spoke "I...have always been the weakling...I continued to survive but on the cost of those that I love, I isolated myself and stayed away from people In order to never hurt anyone, I wanted to be loved, I wanted for someone to care about me, but I didn't want to lose someone that I'd just gained, that's why...I stayed alone, but then I met you, you were ever so hopeful, the stench of death filled the area, but you smiled ever so beautifully, I wanted to stay away from you, I am darkness, that's what I thought, and although I may not be so Important to you, but to me you are, I won't let you get hurt, no one will be hurt, stranger or a loved one, I'll end this...watch me...." He spoke to her as his spirit burned Inside of him, this was the will of fire at It's finest, determination at It's finest.

He bursts to the enemy after getting her two hundred  meters away, his speed pierced the sea, he was more like a hawk than a snake this time, he moved with such finesse and speed, determination, and hope, he pierced the ocean as he ran towards the hideous monstrosity, his bright white eyes, shone like the sun above them, the suns within him, the fire In him, the hope In him, and the light shining Inside him, all exploded Into a new power of his, he was shining like an angel, his chakra filled the area with tender feelings, hurt soldiers started waking up one by one, until all had awoken, they were encouraged by the display of true strength, and now, Tsuneo knew what Is true strength....It's a power that shines from the heart, It's a power that can pierce the darkness with all Its forms.

FIGHT!!

Tsuneo was  In range again, he let a tentacle strike the water In front of him In order to walk on It, and not a moment was thrown Into thin air, he ran and ran, until he reached Its head, the strange monstrosity, gazed Into the eyes of the boy as he himself gazed Into It's eyes, their souls clashed, Tsuneo's burning spirit vs this monster's hatred and despair, he then took off jumping from It's shoulder or so appeared the part he took off into the air from, he looked down as he was mid-air "God Style~Chaotic Wrath" bolts of lightning were launched as the chaotic chakra was now burning with calamity, he spoke to the monster "let your soul be freed" his calm chakra that turned Into lightning bolts were shot off to two of his tentacles and his head, Tsuneo then yelled the name of another jutsu "God style: Wrath of the Burning Thunder" his calm chakra was fused with air he inhaled, and the lightning In his palm, both were then shot off to skewer and burn the enemy both had more efficiency, as they were both Infused with katon chakra, this beast will be burned to a crisp, his tears flowed feeling bad  for the poor creature, all creatures have souls, Tsuneo might have been In Its place If he continued going on his path.

He then stood again on top of the water looking at the creature writhing In pain as he sunk his hand under the surface of the water while being just four meters away, he then sent a wave of electricity  towards the poor creature, the creature was angered by Tsuneo's action, he threw what seemed to be a blast of water, Tsuneo however reacted to the by sealing It In his palm with his technique and reversing It at the beast, he then spoke: "hurry up now's you chance" this was directed to his teammates as he launched all six of his chains to wrap the beast that was now stunned by his lightning's effect, Tsuneo having his chains around the beast, the stage was perfectly set for the final act.

Oomi was safe from any damage, and the beast was about to drop dead, all that's left Is for his comrades to finish things up.

The melody of tranquility

Strafe Aisu

Strafe Aisu

D-rank
As the Sannin stood on the hectic waters, still spinning the legendary staff, he watched his teammates start an onslaught of heavy offense. The Kumogakure ninja that he had fought alongside previously had taken the fight to the next level. Entering his senjutsu transformation, he showed almost unparalleled speeds. To be able to move so fast against an opponent with versatility in offense was a tool that would be a huge factor in this fight. The ninja took down two tentacles, including the one that Strafe had injured earlier with his ninjutsu. He was a smart ninja, even retreating back to protect the two lower level shinobi that were with them from a Water Dragon jutsu. It seemed that he would be the perfect teammate in this battle, and for that, the Sannin was grateful. It seemed that the man also sent a creature to protect Strafe while he prepared his attack. A barrier was created around the Kirigakure ninja, effectively blocking most attacks for now. However, he was the only one that was attacking the massive monster.

The only other Kirigakure ninja, who went by Oomi, also jumped in the fray, barely skidding by each of the enemies attacks. He watched as she managed to charge the monster and injure his eye with a unique attack. While the jutsu was not very powerful, she aimed at a weak spot, which hinted to good strategy. Just as the squid was about to retaliate for her actions, the last of his teammates stepped in. Showing incredible speed as well, he saved the girl and brought her back to safety. At that point, he ran it, dodging and using the aquatic creature's own limbs to propel him forward. He then showed a pure offensive oburst by injuring the enormous creature with several raiton attacks in a row. Finishing off the assault by using the famous chakra chains of the Uzumaki to give an opening for the finishing blow. The creature continued to bellow in pain as the spontaneous team of ninja proved surprisingly effective. How could four ninja who had no history of team work, be so amazingly fluid in their motions as a group? This was certainly a battle for the ages that would go down in the history books. Now it was time for the Aisu clan member to do his part and finish off the menace that was before them.

Smiling as his staff glowed even brighter. It was charged so strongly, that the static could be felt radiating off of it's surface. It moved at speeds that the Sannin had trouble keeping up with. It was truly a weapon of extreme power, something that the opponents of Kirigakure would soon find out. He looked to the fairly like creature and nodded. "Everyone, I'm about to use this attack, do not stand behind or in front of me and stay clear!" His voice roared like his friend Momaru's as he pushed off the water with zeal. He launched in the air towards the squid that threatened his village and friends. He would let no one put Kirigakure in danger while he still drew breathe. That was his purpose. Surging chakra into his staff one last time, while it still spinned, Two bolts of lightning surged out of the ends of Raidachi, crackling with brilliance as it made contact with the target. Still spinning it, it created a raiton saw as it cut through layer and layer of the suiton based creature. It howled in response as it slowly lost the strength to resist the death that was upon it. The bolts carved through it's flesh with precision and ease, making the attack as deadly as it looked. After only an instant, it got down to the brain of the monster and severed it completely in half, draining any life that was left.

Sighing with relief, Strafe landed on the other side of the monster in a stance of victory. His staff stood still by his side as he relished in the triumphant emotion that ran through his body. He turned to his friends with a look that showed pride in each of their performances. He then moved towards the group and stopped in front of them. "You all did immensely well. I can not express to you how thankful we are as a nation. We are forever in your debt. Your names will go down in history, if you will just tell them to me." He said with a look that showed nothing but thanksgiving for the outcome of the battle. All of them stood uninjured against a opponent that would have killed almost any shinobi. That fact alone meant that all three of the people before him were destined for greatness. As he waited for the response of each ninja, he made sure to keep an eye on their surroundings. The army of Seven Bells that retreated to the water was being over run and destroyed. This was a victory that could turn the tide of this war. It seemed that the Sannin had been helpful after all.

This was only the beginning of what the Sannin would bring to the table. He would die before the war ended in the defeat of Kirigakure. He thought of Mizuru and Seven Bells and how he wanted to rip their throats out this very second. The time would come where he would do that, and he would not fail. Such destruction could not be met by any other fate for those two. His mind started to wonder to the many ninja that were near and dear to him. How was Yuudai and Kaguza? Tenmei? Ayakashi? Mitsuo? He would soon find out by going to find them all, wherever they were, and helping in them in their battles. He would not allow any of them to die. He could not bare the pain that came with any of their deaths. The man's eyes became strong with determination as he thought about each one of them. His fist tightened with excitement as he thought of the victory that the village would celebrate. The mist would live on.

Sanosuke

D-rank
The sounds of the krakken's cries filled the air as it was pretty much being ripped peace by peace by the shinobi. Sanosuke had already dealt a lethal blow to its limbs and already, as low ranked in experience and skill, the lower ranked shinobi were holding their own against the large squid. Even though they were nowhere as skilled as Sanosuke or Strafe, they were actually doing damage to the giant beast. Sanosuke had to commend them for their efforts since it wasn't everyday that you got to see a genin and a special jounin take on such a colossal creature and while keeping up with the skills of a sannin and a master sennin at the same time. When the girl by the name of Oomi was struck down by the tentacle, Sanosuke was about to move to intercept so he can retire from his break before engaging in the fight once more. But the special jounin got to her first since he was closer and took her to safety before doing damage to the beast himself. For a group of people whom have never worked together, Sanosuke had to admit that they were operating like a well oiled machine. Not a single beat was missed as they struck at the gigantic beast with their attacks. It wouldn't be long before the Krakken would be destroyed. From the crackling he was sensing, Sanosuke could only guess that the time was coming up soon.

"Everyone, I'm about to use this attack, do not stand behind or in front of me and stay clear!" Strafe said while weilding some sort of staff that was just glowing with awesome power. Surely that would be enough to put an end to the gigantic beast that would have terrorized Kirigakure had they not arrived at the scene. Navi was still protecting the sannin, so when the electricity was too much the tiny wasp returned to her normal state and returned to Sanosuke's side where they watched as the sannin of the mist sent a supercharged bolt of lightning right at the gigantic krakken. With its body being destroyed already by the shinobi of the Kiri alliance, and the fact that it's body was soaked head to toe with water this lightning jutsu would be enough to put an end to the krakken's life. Sanosuke cursed as he realized he himself was soaked now head to toe with water meaning that he can't get too close to the jutsu himself or he would risk being shocked by that large scaled technique.

Clapping his hands together, Sanosuke allowed for his swords to disappear in a flash of lightning quickly as he made his way to stand clear from both Strafe and the krakken. Running quickly, Sanosuke made sure that he powered down from his jutsu so he can focus primarily and getting the hell out of there. "Oi! Get out of there kid!" Sanosuke shouted at the special jounin that was the closest to the squid as he ran. When he was about 30 meters from Strafe, Sanosuke spun around to see the krakken being turned into smoldering remains of the now deceased titan of the sea. The jounin of the village hidden in the clouds took great caution as he gingerly made his way towards Strafe as he made quick work of the krakken with Navi at his side. Sanosuke walked over to the young man and clamped his hand on his shoulder. His gauntlets would be still warm from the lightning that coursed through the material when summoning his swords. It would be warm enough to give the young man a sense of relief and no discomfort whatsoever.

"Good work out there kid! That was some shot you did. It's techniques like that that made me glad that we're allies!" Sanosuke chuckled to lighten the mood. The man already knew his name so there was no point in telling Strafe who he was again. Besides even if he somehow did forget what his name was, the abilities he demonstrated made it so that he would remember the buzzing of the wasp sage. It would also prove the a leader of the shinobi village of mist that Kumo ninja had vast amounts of strength like him. Looking over to the other shinobi that had helped out in the battle, Sanosuke gave them a thumbs up. "And all we got away with was just a jounin with 2 popped shoulders. I'm getting rusty for that peace of sushi to do that to me. I'm just glad no one else got hurt as much as I did, however that girl does need to get medical attention at some point." Sanosuke noted at the end crossing his arms. Her arm was most likely broken and it was bleeding too, so she had to get treated as soon as possible.

Seven Bells Saga
The Long Road Arc
Act Two: Psalms of Oomi
Scene Two: Release The Kraken! … wait, what?
Part III: Aftermath

Oomi willed the surface of the water to become solid beneath her feet as Tsuneo put her down, about 200 meters from the action. Ironically, about the distance she should have stayed in the first place. There was something different about him, she’d noticed it right off the bat. Anyone who knew him in the slightest might have. Proof of purchase had come after a daring rescue that despite the damage done was in the nick of time, sparing the girl a horrid tentacle death… He was talking again… He’d always been a bit wordy in the girls opinion, but today… The girls left arm dangled at her side a shattered mess, and yet she seemed completely unphased, or perhaps even unaware of it as she watched the young Uzumaki return to the battle. Even he showed a level of skill that she could only hope to one day attain. He was stronger than the last time they meet, maybe a lot stronger. Was that what had changed him? No.. No, he said why…

Nine Seconds Ago

“Oh yeah, Mr. Hero Man? Well, you’re welcome!” Oomi chimed, she didn’t really know how else to respond. It was the first time anyone had strung words together into a sentence like that. How was the young girl supposed to respond? Surely, she was required to say more than what she had in this situation. She drew in a deep breath and closed as her eyes as if this might somehow bring the answer she sought. Instead she was merely reminded of her lacking sense of touch. An unimportant thing when compared to any of her current predicaments, however. Though she did lament over her inability to feel the cool breezes of the sea… or Tsuneo’s grasp, assuming he’d lifted her from the water and carried her as it seemed. The breath slowly slipped from between half pursed lips. “…but, people get hurt… that’s just the way it is. There’s nothing we can do about that… So, it’s not a matter of being strong to protect the ones we love…” He was setting her down now… chakra pulsed through her feet.

Now

“…it’s about being strong enough to eventually avenge them.” Finally her gaze shifted to the mangled bleeding mess that once was her arm, already red swirls of blood were forming in the salty waters… Soon sharks would come running, perhaps thinking that the Kraken had provided them yet another meal. Oomi sighed heavily and turned her attention back to the battle taking place so far away.

Even from here she could see that her fellow Shinobi of the Mist was nearly ready to use whatever attack he’d been charging up. Tsuneo dealt devastating blows to the creature as well, yet still it fantically batted at the group hoping to rescue itself from the fate it knew would soon be upon it. A mystery why the creature didn’t simply desummon itself like other summons often did when they felt that fighting wasn’t worth it anymore. What reason did this strange beast have to stay and fight for a member of Seven Bells army? What could the man himself, or any under him have that could create such loyalty even in this monster?

Navi left the Kirigakure Sannin and Oomi knew then that the battle was over. Her seemingly trademarked widelipped grin slid across her features. It was good to see that it would be a Kiri-nin that dealt the final blow. Perhaps that had been the plan all along? Was there ever an actual plan? Somewhere along the way it must have seemed so to those that watched from a far. Sano [and Tsuneo] put distance between themselves and the coming carnage. And carnage there was…. Lightning literally tore though the beast as if it were naught but meat for the slaughter, littering the sea with its bountiful spoils. The sharks would forget their taste for Oomi… There was something far more delicious in the waters now.. Moments later the group was reunited. What an odd team they must have seemed.

“Adechi Oomi, sir!” Oomi bellowed as she saluted Strafe. She tried her best to maintain a straight and serious face, but something about the whole action just tickled her. Instead she’d get a crooked smile that stifled laughter. “You really think they’ll put us in the history books? Adechi Oomi, Kraken Slayer.” She was posing as if she were some comic book hero. “I like it. Let’s make it happen.” She paused as Sano spoke. “Whaddya mean as bad as you?!” Oomi yelped in frustration. “Do you see this?!” She waved her floppy arm about. Her forearm had been snapped, so the thing moved about as if it were on a hinge – not to mention the blood that was splattered about where bone had broken through skin. “I think I earned the purple heart, bub!” She stabbed her thumb into her chest a few times for emphasis. “And I don’t need no stinkin’ medical attention, hospitals smell like old people…”

Yep… she was making new friends!

A Team.

They worked together perfectly they moved each move according to the moves of all his teammates's moves, this was the first time they ever fought together, and they did splendidly, the buzzing was sage was not the average shinobi, he truly deserved the title sage, his power exceeded the expectations of Tsuneo's, and Tsuneo never Underestimates anyone, he never thought he would truly be this powerful, but he proved so.

And not to underestimate the sannin or leave him out, he was simply brilliant, Tsuneo, had never honestly seen an attack as strong as the one he just unleashed, he also had the spirit and the personality of a leader, no doubt about It, this man's title as a sannin was no joke, Tsuneo, did his best, but those two look like they've yet to break a sweat, and not to forget Oomi, she had the lowest stats of them all, but surprisingly was of great assistance, the power she held was no simple matter either, after giving her a good amount of time, she will easily surpass all of those In her generation, she might surpass Tsuneo, but he'll make sure to grow stronger In order to remain at the top and who knows. Someday, he might be In the level of those two. No, that wasn't the correct sentence. He will for sure grow stronger and will surpass those two.

Tsuneo's eyes shone bright with hope, he had recieved his replies from all of them, and all he could say In reply to them "thanks" this Is his great breakthrough. He defied fate for the first time, Tsuneo was no longer fate's prisoner, he escaped, his story will now truly start, Tsuneo smiled as the sannin spoke about their names being written In history, and about oomi's reply to the man, Tsuneo spoke In calamity saying : "It was a pleasure to fight along side you two, perhaps someday we'll meet again to laugh about old time?" He then returned  his attention to Oomi as he let a chain of his chains wrap around her waist, only to carry  her and say "No way missy. You're going with me, to the hospital, don't try to escape these are S-ranked chains, you won't be capable of flinching without my permission" She was an Important friend, but a crazily reckless friend.

As he carried the young female her consciousness eventually faded , he let loose the chains, and continued walking to the hospital, If he had left her, she'd probably go on a rampage against someone she wouldn't stand a swing from, Tsuneo was to make sure to protect her, and remember the words she said, he looked at her and thought maybe even she has a past of suffering, god knows how much I've suffered due to the cruelty of this world, and god knows that I am not the only one who's suffering, this world's cruelty surely had brought pain on others, Tsuneo's goal from now on Is to eradicate the pain that engulfs the hearts of fate's victims.

Tsuneo placed his sleeping friend In one of the finest hospitals In kirgakure, as he left holding his pained head between both of his palms, Tsuneo left the area Into an Isolated one, he never knew, It resided there...

He looked In front of him with wide eyes as the light reflected the darkness within Tsuneo, It stood there, before him, looking at him, Intimidating him. Tsuneo wanted to speak but realized his mouth had disappeared, he fell to his knees as his nails fall off, his right eyes would burst Into a bloody mess, his stomach was split In half, as his Intestines were being pulled by the strange form of himself standing In front of him, Tsuneo would try to move his hands but they would soon fall as if melting his skin began melting he was reduced to a bloody bludgeoned mess.

Tsuneo's eyes would widen again after blinking, only to see his body was fine, nothing was wrong, It was as If nothing had happened!! Tsuneo ran to the river as he washed his body refreshing himself from the chaotic nightmare he had seen, It felt so real, Tsuneo felt the pain and saw everything easily, no one was around, this was no genjutsu, Tsuneo's body was fine too...but how?

Tsuneo then eventually found out, this was the darkness that he fought, this was the darkness he'll continue to fight, Tsuneo's ultimate oponent was none other than himself, Tsuneo looked at the blue sky as he felt that beautiful light that's budding Inside him fight against this monstrosity, he won't lose again, Tsuneo's determination won't falter, but In complete honesty, Tsuneo was mortified of what he had seen, he whole body began shaking, but the light Inside him would only grow warmer and more gentle.

He made friends, he fought with his friend and he won't lose to such a pathetic weak entity that resides within him, He Is much more stronger than before, and he won't stop growing stronger, the wasp sage, proved powerful, and that only meant one thing, to defeat the darkness residing within him, he must reach enlightenment, to reach that, sage arts are required, he'll become a sage, a sage that's known and respected by all, a sage that can destroy the darkness within him.

Tsuneo's resolve was strong, his stance was firm, he was going to conquer the darkness within, he won't give up, and someday they'll meet again, the war was ending, seven bells Is losing slowly, each moment passes by, seven bells bleeds more, and today, Tsuneo had officially landed a critical blow to him, he had stopped many of his plans, killed many of his men over two hundred man was slayed by Tsuneo In this war, he showed no mercy, but the weight of the blood on his hands Is too heavy, still he manages to trample over the plans of the cursed bastard, there was nothing left for bells, he lost the war, Tsuneo alone did this much damage, what about the rest of the skilled shinobi, and with his main pet down, there was not much left to do, the sixth day of war was already over, Tsuneo wore his clothes as he left for a place to stay In and rest his mind In, he needed to rest from the handful amount of killing he had done, and he had to rest from this ugly vacation he had, although In complete honesty, It wasn't that bad...he was capable of fighting with his friend and new comrades, and he was capable of defeating fate for the first time, and for the first time, Tsuneo truly felt free, the chains of fate can no longer put him own, now, he controls them.

Tsuneo went to the camp as It was his only place for now, he reported the details of his mission after having a funny argument over his vacation, and after that he went for a fulfilling meal, and from then he went to his bed to close those heavy eyelids of his.

Tsuneo's real battle begins now, perhaps this battle saved him from the dark future he had awaiting him, he couldn't be more thankful, his family's killer roams the shinobi carelessly, but Tsuneo's true way of revenge Is by growing more and shining ever so brightly and one day, he'll show this man, how Insignificant his actions were. Another day, another hour, another minute, and another second.

as he closed his eyes he began singing a song his sister was used to sing only In a calm beautiful whispering voice, his voice held calamity, gentleness, and purity, he was singing the light that's budding Inside of him, this was his melody.

The hawk's melody.
A melody ever so beautiful, describing the light and the sky, the wind, and the gentle breeze, a tear rolled down the hawk's cheek as he smiled a beautiful painful smile that held such undying hope, the years to come will surely hold much more than simplicity, but with his firm resolve, he shall endure. He shall fight In this smoky world,  and In It he shall fly.

Strafe Aisu

Strafe Aisu

D-rank
As he watch the three incredible ninja in front of him interact, he couldn't help but crack a smile at the different personalities that were present. None of these people were hard to get along with or evil. They all seemed like capable ninja who would make big differences for their village. "Well, Sanosuke, Oomi, and Izuna, I will let the Mizukage know of you're roll in this battle. It was a priveledge to fight beside you. I wish each of you the best of luck in the rest of this war." Strafe said with a nod as he basically dismissed them from the scene. They were now free to go to another battlefield or heal up. They could do whatever they needed to continue to support Kirigakure against the forces of Seven Bells. Seven Bells....yes. Strafe now had a new target to focus on. With the missions to kill his lieutenants underway, it would be only a matter of time until Seven Bells was the main target. Considering he was now healthy and stronger than their last meeting, Strafe could only imagine that he would be asked to go as a medic.

He would make sure to get even stronger before that happened. He would not allow such a man to take in breathe while the ninja of this village lost their lives. As these thoughts raced though his mind, his eyes glazed over as if he was in another world. Lost in the thoughts of the future and the plans of how he planned to end the villain's life. Thoughts of how satisfying it would be to repay that very man with an equal amount of pain that he had caused the village. Not only Strafe, but Momaru would also take part. The lion was injured by the puppet user in the first battle and was itching to get him back. Some may call it revenge, but in the situation, the sannin had to disagree. He saw it as justice for the crimes that the man had committed. Did that mean that this war had changed the Aisu clan member? Yes. He was a different man than before the war. However, these changes weren't bad. They would allow him to survive and become stronger for the sake of Kirigakure and the Mizukage.

The surface of the water in his sight was covered in spots of blood and ship wreckage. The battle had been won, though the site proved that many lives were lost to obtain the victory. Strafe sighed, sending up a thanks to them before turning and rushing back to the hospital. Using the incredible amount of speed he possesed, he arrived in about five minutes. Seeing Momaru, he immediately landed beside him, smiling as he did so. "The mission was a success. Thank you for guarding this place. It means a lot to me." Strafe spoke very confidently, but his face was tender when he saw the lion. "No need to thank me. I was more than happy to do it." The majestic creature's baritone soothed the Sannin's muscles, causing him to relax. For some reason, the lion always had that effect on him. "I have to go report to the Kage, but I wanted to let you know first so you wouldn't be worried." He said with a nod of his head. "By the way, I fought a giant squid." He said with a chuckle as he jumped off the roof just to land on another as he moved towards the Kage's chambers.

In the distance he could hear the fighting of the war still raging on. A part of him wanted to immediately go to it to assist, but that would be foolish. The leader of the village needed to know what happened on the shore. Such information could turn the tide of the war. He sighed, forcing the echoing sounds to the back of his mind. He would soon be back out there to heal and save many men. With that motivation in his head, he sped up. Within only a few short minutes, he was at the administration building. It still had major damage from the initial battle that took place here. He could remember the sight of it blowing up from the jutsu that Seven Bells used. He could still hear the sounds of the Kage and his puppet clashing blades. The sight of an Anbu near death at the hands of Io. All of it rushed back to his mind as he gritted his teeth. It happened every time he visited, but it could not be helped. It just served as more fuel to the fire that was burning inside of him to end the lives of his opponent. They would fall, each and every one of them would die. He would make sure of it.

He walked up to the entrance, looking at the guards with a nod. The nodded back and let him through without question. He immediately walked to the door of where the Twins were. He wanted to make sure that the Lord Solstice was still even here. Knowing her, she was probably off on a mission to do something important. She might have even went to go get revenge on Mizuru. Who knew. As he was about to knock on the door, the familiar sound of one of their voices entered his mind. "Come on in. She's not here, but you can give the report to us and we can fill her in with our technique." He smiled in agreement as he opened the door and walked in. With a bow, they both looked to him, curious as to what transpired. Basing it off his clothes, which were soaked with the odd colored blood of his opponent, they could guess that he met some opposition. "When I arrived at the scene, I saw the person that was targeted. Before I was even able to get to him, he summoned a giant squid like creature. It was immensely powerful, but we defeated it handily." He said with a nod of pride. "When I say we, I had a bit of help from three ninja. Sanosuke of Kumogakure, Izuna...who I don't know much about, and Oomi. She is a Genin of Kirigakure. Make sure the Mizukage knows their names when you tell him." He said with a firm look. The twins knew that meant that they deserved the recognition and might be injured. "Absolutely. Thank you, Lord Strafe." The other twin responded out loud, which was rare. With a nod, he turned and left the room. It was time to do more for the village.
