The village of Kumogakure no Sato was one of the wealthiest villages Ringo had been to.  It was also a prime spot for thieves as the place was full of drunkards coming out of the village's famous Sky Bar.  Yet despite the flowing liquor that seemed to run through all the villagers come every evening, the great outdoor market of the village had become renowned as a hub of international mercantilism.  Who would have thought?  Shoppers of villagers and travelers alike mingled freely beneath the tents and awnings of what seemed to be a thousand vendor stalls.  From dawn to dusk the cries of merchants hawking goods imported from every corner of the shinobi world interlaced with the shouted bids of haggling customers.  Even the affluent and privileged braved the masses of the crowded plaza, willingly reducing themselves to part of the unruly mob pushing and shoving its way through the stalls in search of rare or valuable treasures that could be found nowhere else.

Ringo stood motionless in a secluded corner of the market square, trying to avoid notice.  It wasn't easy for her to blend in with a crowd; although he was of average height, his style was also quite striking to the eye.  It was necessary for him to take precautions when he didn't wish to draw the appreciative stares of others, or the odd stares as well.  His style attracted quite a few but also put off about the same amount.  It was mainly how he dressed his hair, letting the hair slick back on his head's right side while his bangs fell along the left side of his face, his hair spiking up just a bit at the top, although he kept it all in a nice little flow.  In this instance he had donned his dark grey trench coat to cover most of himself up from neck down, his bandana covering up most of his face.

Ringo's day was rather bland and after his travels from Suna he wanted to just rest.  Unfortunately the village was so noisy he couldn't go to sleep so he was forcing himself to stake out the area by the inn that he was staying at.  Also, Ringo kept an eye out for any miscreants or dumb drunkards that might get a bit too tipsy for their own good.  No one was asking him to keep watch like this, but it was all he could do at the moment until things quieted down.  Sadly, it was still the middle of the afternoon and things seemed to only get louder.  Ringo continued to scan the bustling crowd around him while trying to remain inconspicuous.  He waited, and felt something turn in his gut as if he had a feeling something was about to happen.

Tenzou sifted through Kumogakure's loud and rambunctious crowds at the noon hour. His goal had been to meet and befriend individuals so that he may make haste to Kiri and help with the Seven Bells situation. But things change. Tenzou was coming down with one of those...those urges. His addiction to blood dripping onto the floor. His addiction to watching the fear in an opponent as they realize their body is acting against them.

Yes. Tenzou needed to battle someone. He needed to show someone the pain and anguish he could instill. Today was the day for that. His red eyes gleamed through the crowd, searching and scanning for one person who would happen to make a direct line of eye contact with him. That would be his target. The crowds rambunctious activity was so sporadic and misguided that anyone who happened to glance through all of them into Tenzou's eyes was going to be highly frightened. That was no problem. That's what Tenzou wanted. Tenzou was fear. He was the fear in mans hearts.

Tenzou has no desire to kill the person he targeted. He simply wanted to show this individual what it meant to fear for ones life. He wanted to hone his abilities and practice a new technique. It was only in his nature to do it so....harshly. He waited and watched through the crowd until he saw someone stop not far in front of him and freeze up in fear. Though his eyes had not yet met with Tenzou's, it was only a matter of time before the boy drifted them upwards...

Tenzou smiled a creepy smile and suddenly remembered a tidbit from his past.~

~He woke one morning, having had enough of being told what to do, and how to live his life. The house was cold, not as cold as his heart still. He walked gently down the steps and looked toward his mom, then with the use of a single technique she stood paralyzed. He them snapped his fingers and watched as his dad fought with phantoms that didn't exist. He remembered brushing his hand gently through his mothers hair before pulling out a Kunai and slitting her throat. He then took the same Kunai and tossed it straight into his dad's head. Both of them collapsed and Tenzou left the house without a word.~

Yes, this was Tenzou's gift. The ability to kill without care. To end a human life and not feel remorse or pain for it.

As Ringo searched the crowd, trying to remain inconspicuous, a sudden rush came over his body. It was a feeling he knew quite well. Glancing down to his stomach, a bright white light rushed over his body. He could feel himself changing. Not now, I'm right out in public. Ringo tried to hold back the inevitable transformation that was about to occur. It had happened throughout his life several times before. He knew what was happening, Ringo just didn't want it to happen so publicly.

The white light that started in his stomach soon spread all over his body. Reaching up to the top of his head and the ends of his hair, to his shoulders and splitting off down his arms to his fingertips, trickling all the way down to his toes and covering everything in between. In a matter of seconds his whole body, clothes and all, were engulfed in white. The light wasn't so bright that it was blinding, but it was a pure white, one with no other color tinting or tainting it. Just as soon as it had spread, Ringo's body contorted into a slimmer, curvier form.

The warm sensation flooded over her as she was blinded by the transformation. She shut her eyes during the process, always being told to do so by her parents. Cowering down in an attempt to hide the transformation from the scurrying crowd around her. The heat of the transformation soon faded, and she was left with what she had become. A woman. Taking a deep breath and keeping focus on her ears, it seemed the bustling crowd was still making the same noise as before. Slowly she stood up and opened her eyes.

Laying out before her was the same scenery as before. The busy shopping crowd were too busy in their sprees to have noticed the transformation. The bright sun of Kumo seemed to have dimmed the effect of Rin's light during her transformation. Looking around, she locked eyes with one boy who had noticed. He stood not too far away from Rin, the passing shoppers only giving brief glimpses between the two as they stared at each other across the street. Had he seen what had happened? There was only one way to find out.

Rin marched her way through the crowd, not budging an inch, her walk breathing confidence. The crowd seemed to just move around her. Not one shopper touched her as she walked across to meet the boy. Her apparel was now a gray leather jacket with a black skin-tight suit with a zipper in front, the collar stopping well below her collar bone but just high enough to hide her bust. The black suit looked as if it was a full body suit, but the boy wouldn't be able to tell as her blue jeans covered up the bottom half of the suit. The black bandana was now white, the shurikens that were on it turned black, having reversed its colors as if the transformation had changed the clothes as well. Her heeled sandals made a soft clicking against the stone road, covered up by the roaring crowd.

"What you looking at, kid?" she asked bluntly, her eyes like steel.

Tenzou watched before his eyes as the man he had been eyeballing for the past minute or so suddenly transformed into a woman.

"Well then...." Tenzou thought "Looks like I have a definite target."

The individual walked toward him, closing in much quicker than Tenzou imagined.. An man with blood red eyes staring you down in a crowd would've been a sign to most people to leave or flee. But this one approached him and asked him what he was looking at.

The question was a well placed one, but the contrary struck Tenzou. This...man or...woman... Had to have been staring at him almost as long in order to know Tenzou had also been staring. Hmm. He didn't reply to her comment directly but instead said

"You've stumbled into a bad part of town to be displaying such powers..my friends are not pleased."

With this statement Tenzou snapped his finger which would thus trigger one of his favorite genjutsu on the target, she was in range so she would most definitely hear the trigger. From amongst the crowd eerie black ninja would continuously pass by the targets peripheral vision until finally they would begin to leap toward her to attack. Tenzou would have the illusions attack just slow enough for the opponent to dodge, but dodge fast enough to avoid her hits to disallow her to discover the illusion too quickly.

Tenzou would then pull out his kunai and shout at the woman, when she turned to face him he would look directly into her eyes and use his instant strike technique. The moment her eyes met with his he would suddenly be directly in front of her, stabbing her in the stomach with his kunai which would feel real, the phantom pain would hurt as much as truly being stabbed.

"You've stumbled into a bad part of town to be displaying such powers..my friends are not pleased." The boy said, snapping his fingers in front of Rin's face. Almost as if on cue, two black ninja seemed to appear on each side of her, just walking outside of her peripherals.

Taking a jump back, Rin began to scan the crowd. Still, the black clothed ninja seemed to be hiding just outside of her eyesight, always on the move. Each time she saw them it was as if they were about to attack but when she moved around, they weren't there. Instead they would be back at the edge of her peripherals. The feeling of being surrounded and attacked while still being in the middle of shoppers going about their holiday shopping made Rin nervous. Raising her hands up, she sent out both of her line launchers to grab onto a roof of a nearby store.

Propelling herself skyward, a loud shout came from the boy below. Letting the line return to the line launcher mechanism, she glanced back to see if he had followed, but the street was out of view. The line had sent her in an arc over the rooftop of the store and Rin landed on her feet. At least she was out of the street. Now to deal with these weird, black clothed ninja that keep following her.

Focusing Raiton chakra to her hands, Rin made a loud clap, coating her hands in Raiton chakra. The lightning cackled and hissed around her hands as she began swinging them out, striking to the edge of her peripherals to hit the two ninja at the same time. Each ninja just split, their bodies tearing in half from the hits like melted puddy. Rin grimaced in disgust as she watched them fall to the ground. With those on the ground, she looked all around her and watched for the boy to appear. Surely he would come check on his 'friends'.

Suddenly the black ninja, now double in numbers, vanished. Rin was alone on the rooftop. Was this a genjutsu? Why had it stopped all of a sudden? She quickly took in her surroundings and didn't see the boy anywhere. A flash memory of when he snapped his fingers came back to her. That must have been how the genjutsu was set. Angry now, she gripped her fists tightly, the lightning around them cackling to her above the dull roar of shoppers below.

Leaping off the building, Rin landed in a crouch, spun to her left and lunged out of an aisle between two adjacent vending stalls, breaking her fall with the palms of her hands, the maneuver made in silence. She crawled around the rear side of the vending stall on her right, arms and legs working rapidly, quietly, down the narrow alley of stalls, a spider scurrying across a web. She was behind the boy now; she crept froward toward the aisle and rose to her knees, inching her face along rough wood, and peered beyond the tabletop. The small framed boy was in full view, standing erect. He was evidently bewildered, for he moved hesitantly closer toward the stall, his body low again, squinting to see beyond the aisle of stalls. What he saw frightened him further; there was nothing, no one. He gasped, the audible intake of breath a prelude to running. He had been tricked; he knew it and was not about to wait around for the consequences--which told Rin something else. The man had understood what he had gotten himself into, the danger explained. The man began to race toward an alleyway.

Now Ring sprang up and ran straight ahead across the aisle, between the stalls to the second aisle, catching up with the running man, hurling himself at his back and throwing him to the concrete floor. She hammer locked the man's tiny neck, crashing the outsized skull into the stone road, the fingers of her left hand pressed into the man's eye sockets. Not holding anything back, Rin continued to press down until the eyes burst under the pressure, blood spatter going everywhere as the fingers popped the eyeballs and slipped through. Silencing the boy with her right hand over his mouth, the shoppers were unaware of what was going on in between the second aisle of stalls.

Rin continued the hold, cursing at the boy for even trying to attack her. How dare he just try to attack someone so random. He was obviously messed up in the head to have attacked in such a way. A blessing that he had come across her path instead of someone less capable. Now the world was a little better off and no more women would be targeted by this sick boy. Muttering curses as the boy's body went limp, Rin disappeared into the pack of shoppers, spreading distance between her and the dead body. He hadn't been wearing a hitai-ate of Kumogakure, so that meant he wasn't from here either and most likely no one would flinch at his death. Tugging at her jacket, she disappeared into the Market District's chaotic multitude.
