Navi began whining once more as Sanosuke and Toraika was walking towards the bay that would take the group back to Kiri. It was quite the eventful trip they had to Kiri. The Kazekage wanted nothing to do with the Kirigakure war against Seven Bells despite the fact that they needed the leader of the village hidden in the sands to help. She said that her people was enough, sending herself would be foolish. It was frustrating how naive the girl was. But at least Toraika was crowned a sennin now. IF there was anything that could make Sanosuke smile was the fact that Toraika was glowing with so much confidence now. Sanosuke would be sure to teach her as much as he knew how in senjutsu so that she might be able to learn how to be a proper senjutsu sage. But now Navi was irritated that she was the only one of the 3 to not see the land of the Bird Clan because she was in a bottle in Sanosuke's pocket to protect her from the piercing sands of Sunagakure's sandstorms. He had completely forgotten Navi was in there so he was sort of to blame. But he really didn't deserve this sort of punishment of an angry wasp buzzing around his ear.

"I said I was sorry you damn bee! Is that enough for you?!" Sanosuke retorted angrily with a tick mark developing on his forehead as he shook his fist in anger at Navi.

Toraika watched her Master and Navi argue and from the looks of it, the tiny like fairy-like creature was winning. For some reason Toraika got the feeling that Navi was even more aggressive that her master was and that was saying something. She only giggled at the sight and wondered what it would be like to have a friend like Navi who went everywhere she did and always stood by her. Toraika was still at peace within herself from the power Lady Aelita had bestowed inside of her and she wondered of she would always feel that way. She had hoped so. Having eternal inner peace was more than just a blessing regardless of a situation. As she continued walking still lost in her thoughts, she saw that the ferry that would take them to Kiri was within their grasp. She quickly got excited and pounced on her Master's back, wrapping her arms around him and taking the piggy back position. She didn't intend on letting him go either. She knew that if she stated that way him and Navi would stop their argument and focus on the task at hand. She literally jumped in to make them stop but said nothing to do so. "Master!! Let's go!! We are so close!!" Her voice was soft yet had a hint of enthusiasm. She was ecstatic and ready for what was in store. She was fearful of the war but she knew the quicker they returned, the faster the war would come to a close. And the faster the war ended, the more rapidly they could rebuild Kiri and return it to what it once was. She would go to the bathhouses and their hot springs and restraints and have fun with her friends she had made there. She would help their hospital just as she did in her own village and lend a hand.

There was a shift in weight that made Sanosuke lean forward into himself. It was as though something was leeching on his back and refused to release itself from Sanosuke's body. It was irritating to say the least. Every time Sanosuke tried to get himself free, the object would not let go. It was so distracting that the second he felt the weight push on Sanosuke's back, it made him stop mid sentence of what he was going to say back at Navi; thus cutting the argument between him and his partner short. When he looked to see who had pounced on him, Sanosuke saw that it was none other than his student Toraika. She was there smiling like an idiot, she was grinning ear to ear as though she didn't have a care in the world. Was this the effects of the Great Sage Aelita bestowing onto her the blessing to Toraika? It was making her more bubbly and playful than before. It was kind of getting on his nerves actually, but then again sometimes her happy good lucky spirit was a pain in the ass itself.

"Master!! Let's go!! We are so close!!" Her voice was soft yet had a hint of enthusiasm. She was ecstatic and ready for what was in store. If Sanosuke hadn't instinctly caught her by the thighs, the girl would have slid off his back on landed on the ground. There are times when Sanosuke thinks that his own student might believe that Sanosuke himself is an angry guy, but there are times when he's kind as well. He was kind enough, after all, to not let Toraika fall to the ground bruising her. So that had to count as something. Her feelings of anticipation was infectious. Sanosuke was beginning to feel that way as well, he wanted to get back to the war as well. Even though the Kazekage wasn't here to help Kiri in their time in need, they had a fully recognized sennin that was thirsty for combat; besides Sanosuke had a few new techniques he wanted to use in the first time in actual combat. The sound of Toraika's laughter made Sanosuke smile to himself. The sun casted a brilliant light onto the three. It was so beautiful, the Suna sun rising from the slopes of sand as daybreak was coming. The sight of the Kumo mountains on sunset were hard to beat, but this was something that could give his homeland a run for his money. Sanosuke could feel the good vibes coming from Navi as well. If she could be seen, the world would know that Navi was smiling.

The group watched in the sun rise as the ferry was coming over to the bay to dock. It stayed still to wait for any travelers who would be going to Kiri, their destination. The ferry was old and was very cheap. The affordable cost of any shinobi that was about to go to war. "Hold on tight then gaki! We don't want to miss our ride!" Sanosuke said and ran quickly at high speeds. He ran over to the boat, and jumped with chakra pumped through his legs so he can jump onto the ferry without walking on the plank normal passengers would walk on. When the captain asked for their tickets, Sansuke got them out of his pockets and showed it to them so that they could get on without being escorted out.

Putting her down, Sanosuke turned around and smiled. "Are we close now, Tors?" Sanosuke asked sarcastically as he put his hand on her  head and lightly ruffled up her hair playfully.

It was a little windy afternoon as she was walking down the marketplace ally "i hope i got everything i need" as she started heading home wile singing "You would not believe your eyes. If ten million fireflies Lit up the world as I fell asleep 'Cause they'd fill the open air. And leave tear drops everywhere. You'd think me rude. But I would just stand and stare. I'd like to make myself believe. That planet Earth turns slowly. It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep 'Cause everything is never as it seems. To help pass the time wail she walked home.

Ones home she started to put away the food she had got for the marketplace. Wile singing the same song she bin singing for the walk home. She ever know why that song was in her head or were she heard it form but she liked it so it didn't bug her any. Ones she was done she make some tea and sit down and enjoy her tea. “Yea I get to met my new squad today” she was so happy she bin waiting for a week to be put in a squad. “Toraika I never seen that name before I hope he or she is nice and the other two” . She than walked to a window and looked out it “today hmm HUH? TODAY!! oh no I'm going to be late Sensei isn't going to like that they may get mad oh no” . She ran and garbed her bag and started picking it as fast as she cloud trying to get everything she may need. At the same time she looked over the note looking at the names “Toraika looks like a girls name my Sensei is a girl ok than I really hope she kind”

she than put her forehead protector on her right arm than her fathers forehead protector around her waist like a belt. Than put her back pack on her back and walks over to a picture of her mother, sister, and her father. “this is it father I'm now a ninja just like you were and i'll be come a high lv ninja just for you and to keep mother save as well and I know you are watching over you little girl” . As she started to cry a little “ha I can't start that now can I its not going to make a good in pack of me too my squad mates or my Sensei whit that being side I best get going before i'm even more late”

she than runs out the door running as fast as she can to make it in time “i better not use all my Chakra” jumping from sand dune to sand dune and looking to see were the wind is blowing to “i may have to use some chakra but not as much as I wound if there was on wind”  then she looked like she was fiying more than jumping “heres the boat yes i'm going to make it” she make it just in time to lode up.

Toraika got to the boat with her Master and was more than excited to finally be making some ground. She looked up to him as he spoke to her. "Are we close now, Tors?" This upset her a little just because she disliked when people gave her nicknames like that. She was often regarded as violent when someone would call her Tora, and when people would call her Aika, they confused her with a prostitute. She preferred her name as it was, Toraika. Looking up to him she glared and made a few hand signs behind her back. The next thing she did was make sure she got his attention. She coaxed him to bend down to get closer to her face. "Master.. I need to tell you... A secret.." She said as she smiled sweetly at him. She seemed to have no anterior motives at all. When he got close enough she face palmed him with her Kekkei Genkai but not with enough voltage to give him actual harm. Just enough for him to feel the shock. "My name is Toraika..." She giggled pouting. "Nothing more, nothing less." That annoyed her Master, and that was easy to tell. It even caused him to go inside the boat away from her. She felt bad but he needed to learn, especially if they were to be spending lots of time together. As she walked to the edge of the boat to see if her student was actually going to make the ferry, she saw a small petite girl running towards the boat with short white hair. Once she boarded, she seemed to be looking for someone. Toraika being the kind person she was turned to greet her. "Hello, my name is Yoisha, Toraika. Do you need any help?" She asked softy smiling with her eyes holding a serene calmness to them. She hoped the girl that was anxiously looking around would feel her tranquility as well and relax.

ones she was on the boat was looking form her Sensei and or squad mates having no picture's and or relly any info besides there name. "Hello, my name is Yoisha, Toraika. Do you need any help?" form behind her she turned to see a young woman whit pink hair. as she smiled back than a thout poped in ot her head Yoisha, Toraika? than looks at the note she got and than bows "sorry sensei i didn't mean to be late it well never happen again and it's nice to meet you" in a shy voice.

Toraika was a bit surprised. This was the first student she had officially got the pleasure of truly meeting. She smiled genuinely and giggled softly. "It's fine, I am late often too. Don't worry about and relax. We are going to war, so you can't be so anxious all the time. It's dangerous." She looked at the girl empathetically and then stood at the edge of the boat to watch the ocean and take a relaxing breather before going back to fighting. She was not really looking forward to slandering lives but she would do what she needed to. She was left no other choice.Though she did want to see the boy she loved again. As well as train her Senjutsu on mission. She would not give up, no matter what. Nothing could stop her now.

When Sanosuke called the girl 'Tors' Sanosuke saw a small tick mark grow on her forehead. It caused Sanosuke to look in interest. That was something that was rather odd indeed. Has his short temper rubbed off on Toraika his student. Toraika waged her finger to signal that Sanosuke should come closer. Knowing his student, he decided that it would be best to do so. She may have gotten her short fuse from Sanosuke but she was a kind hearted person. There was no way that she would do anything that would harm Sanosuke in anyway shape or form. That's when out of the corner of his eye, he saw fingertips moving behind Toraika's back. It made Sanosuke curious; what could she be doing? That's when he was smacked hard by his student with a static charged. Of course Sanosuke saw this coming but he didn't do anything since he might have had this coming to him. Just to be sure there was no damage, Sanosuke went into the cabin to make sure he wasn't harmed greatly. After all the girl had just been bestowed upon senjutsu chakra by a great sage. It's possible that she might accidentally have unleashed it in the smack. Checking to make sure there was no wound in the mirror, Sanosuke seemed to be okay. He walked out to have a laughing Navi in his face. Sanosuke rolled his eyes and walked past his partner and towards his student.

"So you want me to call you Toraika? Hmm I don't know gaki. I prefer calling you Snips instead." Sanosuke began to say as he approached the his student. She must have known that he wasn't going to stay down there in the ship for long. He smirked and put his hand on Toraika's head. The thought of the smack hitting his face with chakra when he wasn't looking was a dirty trick. Even though he had it coming, Sanosuke was still pissed that he got smacked. "And another thing Snips...."

With his fist balled up, he bonked Toraika on the top of her head. The force wasn't enough to cause her any serious pain, but at best it would probably have her a bit dizzy, lightheaded, and maybe a small bump on her head. "HOW DARE YOU HIT YOUR TEACHER GAKI!!!!" Sanosuke roared at his student. A tick mark on his forehead was pulsing furiously. He crossed his arms across his chest as he looked at Toraika, tapping his foot angrily to calm himself down. "Just for that, until you can best me in a spar I will call you 'Snips' gaki! Besides it'll give you an incentive to train harder when we get back to Kiri." He was still pissed that he was hit. Though it did feel good that he was giving his student some sort of punishment.

Looking around, he noticed that there was someone else here. The girl looked a bit younger than Toraika and had short silver hair with green eyes. "Are you a shinobi as well. The name's Sanosuke Flynt, and you've had the pleasure of meeting my student  here" Sanosuke introduced himself to the girl.

Toraika was absolutely infuriated. She was all about respect and him giving her nicknames she never gave approval to really bothered her. She had never retaliated a day in her life but the one time she did she wished she hadn't. For after she thought he would be out for the count for most of the rest of the ferry ride, he came up and gave Toraika a sudden hit over the head. Of course it didn't hurt too badly but it scared her more than anything. "Ouch!" She winced and then felt the sharp pain of a bump emerging on the top of her head. She began to sniffle lightly and her eyes watered. The next thing she knew she was crying wildly and loudly at that. She wanted all attention turned to them. The sight of a large adult man hitting a her, a small abnormally short innocent and young looking girl wouldn't go over well. She then decided t drag her newly found student into the mix. She turned to her and cried in her shirt. "Help!!! This man is beating me and trying to steal my ryo!! Help!!" She the awaited the men that were nearby, shuffle towards her Master. Of course she felt bad about getting him into trouble like this but he had started it after all. Besides she wouldn't accept this punishment sitting down easily. Along with the respect of her name her Father had given her for being strong yet loving, he even dared lay a hand on her in front of her new student. Someone should never disrespect someone in front if their pupils. It makes them not take them seriously. So easily said, she was getting the last word and showing him a lesson one way or another. It seemed the men were shinobi and had on Kiri headbands. This made things interesting. Her master was powerful but could he take down 3 large men? And if he did, how would that look on the case he was trying to deny. If he beat them to a pulp they would easily believe he was beating Toraika. She sat back and watched.

"Are you a shinobi as well. The name's Sanosuke Flynt, and you've had the pleasure of meeting my student  here" as she looked up to see a tall man who had long black hair and has eye were covered in wraps. she than bowed Hello it nice to meet you i'm Shikyo, Sammey as she was about to look back up she hared her Sensei cry out "Help!!! This man is beating me and trying to steal my ryo!! Help!!" as she new Sensei and cried in her shirt. "Sensei whats going on are you ok?" not knowing what els to do.

The sounds of Toraika crying could be heard throughout the ship as men began to swarm Sanosuke in force. There was no way that his punch should have gotten her to cry. She was just drawing it out. What was more she told them a bold faced lie that she was being mugged by him..her teacher. This was bad as the crying got more and more louder. It seemed as though even more men was coming. The problem wasn't if he could defeat them all; hell he could make them fear ever approaching him. But that wouldn't steer well at all. He was supposed to be representing Kumogakure, so getting in a brawl with 3 other shinobi would make his village look bad. A sweat dropped on the back of his head. This new temper of his got him in yet another bind. But how would he solves this? It had to be done discretely so that no more attention would be gathered. He might even be kicked off the ferry if he was any louder. Sanosuke noticed that the girls were gone, figures this might not end well at all for the jounin. When the girl said that she was the student of Toraika, it all made sense. His student was also trying to look professional in front of her own student. It would explain the temper she got when he cuffed her. These men were cracking their knuckles; he had to act fast.

"I'm so sorry for my trouble please forgive me! I was trying to desperately get the money I needed for my best friend in the world. She and I grew up together in the same house, and under the same roof. We even went to the same ninja school together and put on the same squad. I even developed feelings for her. I was going to confess to her my love when she was killed by a stray explosive kunai. I wanted to give her a proper burial, but Kiri would charge me a fortune to do so." Sanosuke bowed. When he looked up, there were fake tears in his eyes. They looked genuine enough, after all while in his travels he became a pretty talented performer. "Do you not know what it means to lose the girl you love to this war..." That's when Sanosuke was interrupted by the arms of several men. They were all hugging Sanosuke and sobbing as well. Seems as though these men were coming from the war as well. They each cried trying to tell their own sob stories of their own. It wasn't as though Sanosuke didn't care, it's just hell this is way better than being beaten up by several shinobi because retaliation would lead to him potentially getting kicked off the boat. This was a moment between me whom had lost things important to them in war, except Sanosuke himself of course. They cried about how they lost friends and some of them even family pets in the war. It was sad yes, but he really just wanted to go to bed. Throughout the hug, Sanosuke shot Toraika a dirty look briefly so the men wouldn't notice. It read:

We'll talk about this when we get back to Kiri... Because right now, it seemed as though he would need to be counseling these men for their loses throughout the whole ride to Kiri.

Toraika had to admit she was surprised at the story her Master had used. It was thorough and his acting was perfect. Toraika was normally so shy and naive but now, there was a new light that had begun to shine through her and give her confidence. Typically she would never pull a stunt like she had but she decided to stick up for herself for once. As her master cried she felt terrible. There was something that gave her the feeling of what some of he was saying was true... Did he really lose his lover back in Kiri? If that was the case she felt terrible. After the shinobi left, she hugged her Master testy eyed. This time she really meant the tears. "I'm sorry Master... Please forgive me." She whispered softly. She supposed it was a sign to not stuck up for herself anymore. Maybe she was obedient and a pushover doormat for a reason.
