Skarn released a gentle sigh of content as he stared along the silhouette of what was known to be Iwagakure; it was always something about this spot, the sight seeing cliffs that always created a bit of calming to his life. It had been several years since had returned to this place -- it seemed like an eternity due to the events that had occurred prior to the moment. So much had changed yet the people were ever so inviting and they acted as if he had never left or as if he was that same loving Shinobi that they once knew. Unfortunately he wasn't that person anymore, he was something... else.

'Dance of the Yasunori!'

The phrase broke Skarn from his trance; what was that all of the sudden? Skarn would always compliment this place for it's view; however, it was rare for anyone else to visit despite it's beauty. He peaked over his shoulder, taking notice of a dark haired maiden who begun sprint towards the cliff. A puzzled expression shaped his profile as he observed her; emerald hued lenses were slightly concealed by his narrowed eye expression. Iwa wasn't exactly known for it's sane behavior, but then again Iwagakure had gone through a series of Tsuichikage and they even went to the point where Kazu had even become one. Needless to say Skarn watched her closely, figuring she was playing around -- certainly she wouldn't leap off a cliff... would she?

As she neared the cliff Skarn took notice of her speed -- at this point it would be practically impossible to stop: "Wait!" He exclaimed he sprung into action; he immediately ran over in attempt to stop her before she made her descent. Swinging an idle arm he swept it across his body, attempting to grasp her by an ankle. His hand would swing over her foot, mere centimeters from gripping her. Just as she leapt she would utter' I believe I can fly' however due to his affinity of the wind he could sense her trajectory and approach was terribly off. The descent was far to steep; unless she was a bird herself it would be impossible for her to perform such a feat.

Without hesitation he would leap forward; holding his arms out to his sides before shifting his weight forward and beginning his steep descent. He tucked his arms firmly at his sides to hasten his speed -- she was merely 15 meters beneath him. It wasn't until that point until the thought crossed his mind: "Wait... I can't fly either, what am I doing?" He thought to himself, but just as the thought crossed his mind he focused a massive amount of chakra to his feet, an green aura shrouding his entire body as he begun to close the gap between himself and her. As they fell they passed several pillars and canyon walkways where people would screech due to being surprised by the sudden descent. He had to catch her...

Skarn tossed his arms out in front of him -- just as he was about to swoop down and catch her; her body dispersed into a symphony of cascading paper! He was completely puzzled; however, now wasn't the time for it. He completed his flip with the chakra gathered at his feet. A circle about 3 feet wide developed before him with several symbols and kanji on it. It acted as a platform and with it he jumped up to lessen his speed -- he was expecting to hit the ground still but with his Air Hike technique he was capable of at least bracing the fall some. Before he realized it the young woman had managed to form a stone platform to catch him. Once he landed he gave her a puzzled expression, finding her question rather humorous to say the least: 'What was he doing...? What was SHE doing" the thought crossed his mind, but instead of being vocal he merely chuckled and placed an idle hand on the top of his head to ruffle up his hair a bit:

"Well I thought I was saving you, but it seems like I was the one that ended up needing saving!"

He paused for a moment before extending his arm out before him in attempt to shake her hand. "My name is Skarn." He uttered softly; he was well known in the village, however most 'knew' him a harmless soul and rather worthless due to the way he carried himself.
