The Man-Eater
Once again Nakashima found himself looking at the mission board in search of his next exciting adventure, the only problem now is that the reality of these missions was starting to set in. Nakashima noticed he either had to do painfully boring missions that did not benefit him in anyway to become a high class ninja or he would have to take on more life threatening mission. Although at this level most of these life threatening mission were simply dealing with a wild animal, the thought of making a wrong step and dying scared him. But as this was the job role he had chosen for himself, he had to deal with this, Nakashima thought to himself that he would just have to become the strongest so that no one would be able to end his life, the hard part was getting to that level.

The mission that caught Nakashima Kaneko most was 'The Man-Eater' from the description the mission was to remove a rock python that was roughly 4 an a half meters or 12 and a half foot in length and had be reportedly spotted on the outskirts of Iwagakure, having attacked and successfully killed the livestock. And along with this the python had taken the life of a five year old child whom was playing unsupervised. The residents area afraid that the monstrosity will continue its rain of terror unless someone stops it. The mission will be in the 'Wild West' of iwagakure near some shrubbery, and its seems like this snake has developed a tendency to attack humans with some reports saying they did nothing to aggravate it. The snake will have to be permanently removed from existence, in other words Nakashima must kill this snake that is terrorizing the village.

Nakashima set off for the village pondering his thoughts as he normally did, thinking about when he will become the strongest ninja alive. It also crossed his mind that this snake may actually be this big and not an exaggeration of the fact of its size. It took him a short period of time to travel to the 'Wild West' of Iwagakure, but he finally arrived and spoke to some of the towns people to find out about this massive snake that they had a problem with. He came across a villager sitting alone at a table.

'I hear you have a snake problem.' Nakashima said to the man.

'Don't make it sound as if its only a joke.' The man exclaimed.

'I was only kidding, I am sorry, I did not realize that the situation could really be as bad as it was made out to be.' Nakashima told the man who had now stood up to look at him eye to eye.

'situation really as bad as it was made out, my child was taken from me, he was only five years old, do you understand what that is like, it is all my fault, I did not look after him.' The man sobbed with tears starting to appear in his eyes.

'Look I am really sorry to hear that, this is why I am here, to exterminate the problem for you, so you can go back to your lives as normal.' Nakashima sympathized.

'GO BACK TO NORMAL, HOW CAN I EVER GO BACK TO NORMAL, MY WIFE HATES ME, MY PARENTS HATE ME, EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY HATES ME, I WAS SUPPOSED TO LOOK AFTER THAT KID, BUT I WAS TO BUSY WITH SOMETHING THAT IS NOT IMPORTANT, AND MY SON DIED BECAUSE OF MY STUPIDITY AND ME BEING IRRESPONSIBLE!' the man shouted at Nakashima.

'Look I said I am sorry there is nothing more you can do about that now, look if you can tell me where the snake appears most, I will be able to do my job and leave you to your drinks in peace.' Nakashima had enough of this man, it was not his job to listen to his problems and his mistakes, he was here to do a job. The man agreed to show him where the snake was last sighted, and they began walking in silence to that spot. The spot was on the very outskirts of town, obviously the snake was not afraid of humans to come this close to town but it still minded its boundaries and stay outside the town, it must have known it was a major threat to the town and that they would kill it on sight.

'Okay thanks for your help I will be done here shortly.' Nakashima said sincerely. The man did not reply he just walked without hesitation back toward the town without looking back. Nakashima looked at the ground looking for tracks, he could see on the ground that this snake had come and gone as it pleased, and that it was in fact the size reported as the width of the tracks almost seemed to be 4 meters wide itself. Nakashima placed a dead dog outside the shrubs hoping that this would lure the snake out. He waited several hours knowing that snakes could live of one meal for long periods of time, but he hoped it had not eaten recently. He was in luck after about 5 hours of waiting the snake appeared to devour the dead dog lying there. This was Nakashima one and only chance, he would have to kill it now. As he approached the snake it looked up at him with those beady snake like eyes, Nakashima almost froze with terror, he hated snakes and everything about them. It was almost a phobia. It started moving directly at him without hesitation, nakashima's only hope was to get around behind it or was it, Nakashima had set up a trap earlier expecting it to not be afraid of him, and as it slithered towards him it slithered over a trap he had set, the trap released and a massive rock fell from above the snake landing on its head. It had crushed the snakes head but just to be sure Nakashima walked over and separated the snakes head from its body, he also took this as proof of the kill. He informed the village of his kill, was paid in full and returned home hop\ing he wouldn't ever have to deal with a snake again.
