Dameon
D-rank
It had been a long couple of days and on top of it all he had been getting so little sleep it was driving him mad. Days seemed to run into one another and the woman he had fallen for amidst the chaos was away with important training she had needed to get done, with his sensei no less. He had to train himself and get stronger or he wouldn’t be able to protect them from the threat of the stronger shinobi that were in the war against them. He had been designing and planning a new jutsu that involved his raiton chakra hyper focused and mixed with the precision and control that his clan added to the element. He just hoped he could finish it sooner than later. The village and the people that were close to him counted on him to get better and stronger, and he would do just that. He was walking to his usual training spot hidden in a little known area just outside the village walls and by the river that lead to the big lake. The big lake in itself was the reason why there was mist in kiri, giving it its name.
It was a large clearing nestled by the river that had a few wooden dummies and a small handmade bridge that crossed over the water. Dameon had spent the better part of his life at the training grounds he had discovered at such a young age. It was also the same place he had met his pet Penpen who had been at the training grounds. The poor penguin couldn’t get food and hated the taste of fish ever since Dameon had introduced the thing to beef jerky. He could see the little guy under the ten or so foot waterfall that began at the edge of the clearing and trailed with the water. Dameon walked out into the middle of the field and began to raise his chakra slowly. Sparks of electricity shot out in arcs from his skin. They didn’t shoot out far but enough to be noticeable. He looked at the training dummies ahead of him knowing they wouldn’t be the best targets possible. Wood was bad for conducting electricity and his jutsu would be pure focused raiton. Though he supposed that if he did do considerable damage to it he would know that it would work even better on an actual opponent.
He sighed as he closed his eyes and started to regulate his breathing as he began to focus his raiton as well as his own shikyo electricity that came natural to him to his right arm. He breathed slowly trying to condense it, mold it, and just overall focus it into his right index finger. He needed to get better at controlling and focusing such a large amount of chakra. As a ninjutsu specialist first and a swordsman second he had been favoring his sword much in the war but he needed to stop being a one trick pony and improve on what he did so well to master it. He aimed at the wooden dummy still keeping his breathing under control as he felt all the chakra he had built up focused into his finger finally able to be useful. He exhaled and released the jutsu; a beam of pure white lightning shot out of his finger and hit the dummy quickly. He then gripped the beam as it still extended from his finger into the dummy and swung it away from himself just like a very long sword and it tore out of the side of the dummy. The hole he made had gone completely through it and the cut he made chopped the wooden dummy in half and sent it to the ground. He was surprised at just how much damage it had done to the dummy. He walked over to the dummy itself and bent down inspecting it, even the wood was burned. He had learned the jutsu after all.
