The Enjō used to be nothing but a ragtag group of people who had nothing in common but one thing; Their amazing skill with and manipulation of the fire element. At first only a few of them were any type of warrior, and it was this select few who would be the first to come up with the teachings of the Enjō people about the proper way to tap in to their gifts as literal pyromancers. Eventually, marrying within their own group and accepting in those rare few who popped up through the centuries led them to be a highly concentrated group mostly found in the land of Fire. However, they were independant of Konohagakure or any other village.
This was mostly due to their haughty, unpredictable natures and tendency to have tempers as hot and volatile as their chakra. They flourished as their own society who worshiped their own set of elemental Gods and Goddesses, but this was just another reason to make the other shinobi weary of these unusual people. They were secretive, hostile at best, and refused outside interference even at the worst of times. Greedy with their techniques and even wealth unless they needed something from those not allied with their own people. Even allies, however, were at arm's length at best. This is probably why their downfall was so painfully ironic.
About 16 years ago to the day, an upstart of this family decided he would challenge the leadership of the clan. His name was Korei, son of the current leader who preached peace and friendship. He was the first in a long line of leaders who actually wanted to change their loner ways and embrace the world outside of them. Korei wanted them to shun these ways and claimed his father was weak. They split the entire clan in to two warring factions who burned down their own village in an effort to see who was more worthy of leading the clan to their futures. In the end, however, their numbers were greatly reduced and the few survivors scattered from the shame of ruining the bright future of the Enjō because of their lust for destruction and intolerance of defeat.
Kekkei Genkai Description:
Essentially, their KKG is the ability to more freely manipulate their heavily fire-sided chakra than average shinobi. This means that there are no hand signs needed to perform Katon jutsu and they have a boost of +1 in all Katon based techniques. Whether these be clan based, taijutsu/bukijutsu combo techniques, or straight ninjutsu. Also, their adeptness through the ages as close combat fighters raises either their Taijutsu/Bukijutsu(has to be their first specialty) by +1.
Drawbacks:
- They can never take Suiton/Doton as an element, and Suiton/Doton deals +1 damage to them.
- Users can not have a Bukijutsu boost for ranged weaponry(Such as Kyujutsu), or practice Kugutsu.
- They must take on the Hesitant Element as a negative SC as counting towards their 3.
Members have been known to experience small sparks coming from their hands and crackling along their skin when experiencing high emotions such as anger or sadness, but this stops happening around Special Jounin level except for very rare occasions. These 'sparks' are uncontrollable otherwise and can start fires that are also uncontrollable. These sparks and the fires they create can burn friend and foe alike, not just flammable material. They can not control who is burned. As well, fires created from the sparks can very easily burn the host just as any other fire can.

Description:
This technique is one of the basic techniques of the clan that uses Ninjutsu to enhance their body or weapon(s) with Katon chakra. While no hands signs are necessary to do this, the user must still hold perfectly still for a moment to concentrate the chakra in the center of their body and push it outwards from this point. It'll manifest as flickering flames across the user's body, pooling mostly at their hands to deal the most damage and giving them a claw like appearance. All of these flames can branch out from the user's body at any given time to wrap around objects or enemies and cause damage. At it's weakest (D Rank) It can cause 1st degree to moderate 2nd degree damage (C Rank) it can cause major 2nd to 3rd degree burns, (B rank) would be major 3rd degree to 4th degree burns. (A rank) would be major 4th degree burns and severe tissue damage and incredible, debilitating pain. These tendrils able to be cut/disintegrated temporarily like regular rope before the flames simply recreate themselves out from the user's body.
The flames on the user's body can only be temporarily doused with regular water --these flames are the equivalent of their very chakra manifesting outside of their skin-- but any fires started from contact with combustible materials (that are not on the user's body) coming in to contact with it is very easily doused like any other fire.

This technique requires no hand seals. Katon chakra is centered in the body, and then forcibly shot out to combust the very air at a maximum of 3 meters out from their body. This can be used to explosively push enemies/projectiles away and keep this fiery wave going for as long as the maximum distance of the jutsu's rank. At it's weakest (D Rank) It can cause 1st degree to moderate 2nd degree damage (C Rank) it can cause major 2nd to 3rd degree burnsr, (B rank) would be major 3rd degree to 4th degree burns. (A rank) would be major 4th degree burns and severe tissue damage and incredible, debilitating pain. Everything in it's path is likely to either catch fire if it's combustible or have it's surface turned incredibly hot if it's a heat conductor.
It's impossible to retract the wave once it's given free reign. While the wave is in progress, the user can not move. However, this technique moves at a rank above itself. So a C rank wave would move like a B rank, and so on. These flames act as any other regular fire, and can burn not only enemies and objects, but friends and the user as well.

Description:
This technique, as with others, requires no hand seals or preparation. The user simply must center their Katon chakra and thrust it out in to a dome like shape of thick flames that manifests at a minimum of 5 meters out from their body according to which rank is being used. Within it the air is surprisingly cool as the hot air is being pushed outward from within the dome. There is a 2 foot wide hole within the dome's ceiling as to not suffocate it's occupants, and this is the only exit/entry point that isn't through the flames. Techniques that only target sections of the sphere will only temporarily break the sphere open, and without being dissipated by the user or by a large enough technique to take the whole thing out at once, the broken section will simply be recovered in flames from the others intact sections. At it's weakest (C Rank) it can cause major 2nd to 3rd degree burns, (B rank) would be major 3rd degree to 4th degree burns. (A rank) would be major 4th degree burns and severe tissue damage and incredible, debilitating pain.
It can passively set flammable objects touching it on fire, so using the larger sizes in small places can cause more harm than good. Able to set trees and foliage on fire, and even nearby buildings, which can trap the user and their allies in a true inferno that does not dissipate with the technique. However, enemies can also be trapped in this. The user/allies/lucky enemies can move freely within the dome.
