Clan History: Rumors of shinobi with snake like abilities had been passed through stories for hundreds and thousands of years. Being able to deliver bites that would poison the body in such terrible ways as that those who were hit never survived without trauma. The Mamushi clan are a wandering clan composed of a special bloodline of shinobi whom have inherited from a great ancestor the ability to use Hebishi, along with several techniques that revolve around the abilities of the snake. Mamushi clansmen and clanswomen have recently come to be a more prevalent clan among shinobi after many years of dormancy and infertility among the members. They have regained a foot in the world and have began to spread again.
Kekkei Genkai Description: The Hebishi is a Dojutsu which when activated grants the user snake-like heat sensory abilities. The user is born with a young untrained Hebishi for moderately ranged heat vision(the ability to see the surroundings in an infrared mode.) The Hebishi transforms the pupil into a small slit(identical to that of a snake) and makes the eyes a yellow color.
Those who possess the Hebishi also possess snakelike fangs which are used for the clan Genjutsu abilities.
Visual Genjutsu that does not specifically list that the illusions have heat signatures are able to be seen through by the Hebishi.
Drawbacks: Due to being cold blooded as snakes are, Mamushi clan members receive a -1 to movement speed in cold environments.
Clansmen may also become blinded by katon that is used within 1 meter of the member while Hebishi is active. The blindness will last for one post. This is caused by the heat being equivalent to a flashbang in a way.

Description: The Hebishi is a Dojutsu only able to be used by members of the Mamushi clan. The Hebishi transforms the users eyes into that of a snake(yellow with slits for pupils) and changes their very method of vision to heat detection. Using Hebishi They can determine the air temperature and see heat signatures of those around them.
Ranks are as follows- D Rank: The user can vividly see heat signatures with Hebishi up to 20m away. Not yet able to see them through objects as solid as walls, but clothes are easily able to be seen through. Minor heat seeking capabilities with projectiles. The user can pay 15 chakra as an additional cost to apply heat seeking to a jutsu or to a projectile. At this rank the projectile may only pivot up to 40 degrees while traveling toward the target.
- C Rank: The users vision can now see through thick walls and objects like trees as well as up to 25 meters.The ability to add minor heat seeking qualities is extended, allowing for the projectile to curve up to 65 degrees.
- B Rank: Visual range of heat extended to 30 meters before heat signatures are blurred. Specific organs in the body show varying heat signatures and can be distinguished at range.Projectiles now curve 80 degrees.
- A Rank: Heat detection range equals 35 meters. Projectiles can curve 90 degrees to home in on a target.
- S Rank: The visual heat detection can now make out facial details and match certain heat signatures with certain people whom the user has seen before.Range capped off at 50 meters. Up to 180 degrees of pivot for an airborne jutsu or projectile. The projectile will now follow for 2 posts before losing any velocity at all.
- D Rank: The user can vividly see heat signatures with Hebishi up to 20m away. Not yet able to see them through objects as solid as walls, but clothes are easily able to be seen through. Description: The Hebishi Style Venom Genjutsu is a Genjutsu in which a false sense of being poisoned is given to the foe. Either the user bites the opponent, or uses a projectile, injecting a surge of chakra through the victims body which quickly assimilates in the brain and begins to make the user sweat, then after a post they will have numbing in the site of the bite/wound, 2 posts and the user begins to vomit. And after the third post the user will become numb throughout the body. This is when the actual duration takes place, as it then will have the opponent numbed completely for 3 posts or until the Genjutsu is broken.

Description: The Hebishi eye intensifies, extending the range of it's visual prowess to 200 meters, then the user selects a specific target and all else within the users vision is nullified. The user then applies heat seeking to his weapon of choice and will watch from a distance as a very unsuspecting target helplessly flees from his unseen assailant for up to 3 posts.
