Clan History:

In the dusty tombs, and tattered pages of the history books of nearly every great Shinobi Nation can be found a mention of the relatively small clan Konzoku. Typically that mention is only in regards to their existence. As few have done anything deemed truly noteworthy by most historians. However, there a few that make bold claims pertaining to the clan – they are usually members of the clan itself. It is said that sometime long ago in their history the clan migrated from what would become Iwagakure across the whole of the shinobi world. Some claim that it was the Konzoku whom the Senju and Uchiha were emulating at the foundation of the great shinobi nations and that it was the failure of the Konzoku that inspired the actions that lead to their success. Most attribute this belief to the elderly members of the clan’s purposeful exaggeration of the original story.

**Though the Konzoku can be found around the world, their numbers are still relatively small and one would be hard pressed to actually find a living member of the clan. It is important to note that all members of the Konzoku are related, however removed they may have become over the years. ( Sometimes requiring looking back at the family tree as much as 300+ years to find some familial connection beyond surname. A surname that isn’t always shared among Clan Members. )

Kekkei Genkai Description:

The Konzoku through the combination of Doton and Suiton chakra Konzoku are able to produce concrete. Though, admittedly, this concrete is more of a super hard mud than the actual material itself. The creation of this concrete like substance is near instantaneous much like the use of other elemental aspects of jutsu.

Though the Konzoku harbor this incredible talent, their true skill is in the creation of seemingly living statues called Genkujiga ( Sculpted Ego ). By infusing their own natural, non-elemental chakra into their creations the Konzoku are capable of imbuing their statues with limited cognitive abilities and mobility (they are surprisingly fluid and swift considering the material these statues are made of).

• Genkujiga are created through a combination of Suiton and Doton chakra. The Suiton chakra flows through the statues similarly to a circulatory system, this creates a conduit through which Raiton based jutsu can be channeled into the ground thus causing them to do normal damage despite the weakness Doton has to the element.

• Similarly, other techniques that the Konzoku utilize contain conduits of Suiton used to direct Raiton attacks through them, allowing all of their techniques to receive normal damage from Raiton based jutsu. This applies only to Concrete Style attacks.

• The Konzoku are incredibly agile, a thing that was derived in response to their lacking strength. However, just beneath their skin a thin film of surprisingly viscous wet concrete like mud exists allowing them to overcome the natural frailty that usually accompanies the trait. ( Can take Agile without Frail. )


Drawbacks:

• In exchange for granting the Konzoku limited intelligence and autonomy, the chakra used to create them cannot be used for jutsu.

• Because of their reliance on their Genkujiga, at ranks above Genin the Konzoku receive a -1 to their strength.

• Due to the natural state of their bodies, Konzoku cannot use Katon techniques of any kind as the fire natured chakra would cause the concrete like substance beneath their skin to harden. In addition, because of this Katon jutsu that touch exposed flesh reduces their Reaction Time by 25% per successful jutsu.(IE: Damage sustained ) This effect can be stacked until the Konzoku Clansmen essentially becomes a statue themselves.

1.) If the concrete is just really hard mud, I'm not sure I see how that is separate from doton which produces mud and can manipulate the density/hardness of the mud. If that is all that it is, I'm not sure that it is distinct enough to warrant being an advanced element. All doton user's can do this by default.

2.) I don't see how the addition of suiton could possibly remove the mud's inherent weakness to raiton. If anything, the water would simply make anything it is flowing through more vulnerable.

3.) Taking Agile demands that you take Frail. I don't even think attempting to circumvent that is allowed, especially not on top of another kkg on a clan with next to no drawbacks.

4.) The reaction time drawback is impractical at best. Someone would have to hit a member of this clan with 4 katon jutsu in order to lower their reaction time by one rank. If you are getting hit with jutsu often enough for this to be releavent you are already dead. As such, it isn't really balancing anything.

5.) The idea of these Genkujiga is conceptually flawed and isn't really feasible on the site without major changes. First things first, they will not be sentient. That isn't even an option I'm willing to consider. Secondly, their physical stats need to come way down. Drop their base stats and remove the boosts altogether. Additionally, there needs to be a more defined limit on the shape they can take, limiting size is not enough. If people want to get crazy with their sculptures they can app them all as separate jutsu, but the base jutsu needs to have a strict limit. Also, the defensive properties of each one need to come down, like down to shadow clone levels. And remove the part about being able to instantly replace one for 10 chakra and put a limit on how far they can travel from the user before they lose form.

6.) I barely considered the katon thing a real drawback to begin with, but including a built in solution to what is supposed to be a core weakness of the clan essentially removes any value the drawback had for balancing purposes.

7.) Concrete Bolt: Unless the bolts are only capable of piercing one inch into an opponent, lower the duration to one post.

Overall, this clan has far too many benefits with almost no drawbacks and the jutsu are far too powerful.
