Clan History: The Kamizuki clan has resided in the forests of Konohagakure since before the founding of the village; long ago the clan was one of monks and priests and scholars that recorded the passing histories of the world. When the first Sage of Six Paths passed through their lands, they found that the message and ways of the Sage and his teachings, that of the ways of Ninshu, resonated within them to such a degree that within a single generation the clan had forsaken it's previous traditions and culture in favor of on based upon the ways and words of the Great Sage. As time marched on and the ways of Ninshu became the ways of Ninjutsu and the world moved toward that of the ninja, the clan was able to adapt and grow by incorporating these new ideas and such into their existence, and as such found that they were well suited toward one particular skillset above all else, that of Genjutsu. The mental arts had always been favored among the clan, so this was of little surprise to anyone within the clan, or that knew of their history.
When Konohagakure was founded, the Kamizuki were one of the early clans to immigrate to it; they had lived in the region for so long that it was treated as natural that they would join the foundling village. While never a major player in politics, nor heavily famous among the Ninja as many other ancient clans grew to be, the Kamizuki have held their own and maintained an identity within the village, and they continue to flourish to this day.
Kekkei Genkai Description: This clan is heavily Genjutsu based, and have been for generations. The clan prides itself on it's mental prowess, and because of this fixates heavily on it. While not deficient in other areas of ninja arts, they have always just found that Genjutsu arts come easier to their people. Due to the extreme focus on the mind and the power within; the clan has unlocked a special ability: Telepathy. Over the generations this ability has been honed and expanded to a massive degree; making the clan powerful telepaths. They are able to communicate with large groups of people without so much as a second thought; and rarely show any real effort when using this skill. In order to unlock this ability, the Kamizuki clan member must have Genjutsu as their primary Specialization. Because it is a passive ability, it takes the place of a positive SC, however it does not need to be balanced by a negative SC.
- Code:
[b]Name:[/b] Kamizuki Telepathy
[b]Type:[/b] Passive Clan Ability
[b]Description:[/b] The most famous ability of the Kamizuki; this skill allows any clan member to communicate via thought. This skill cannot be used to acquire information that the user would not normally have access to, nor can it be used to 'read minds' or anything of the sort. Combat usage is restricted to direct teammates and clansmen.
Drawbacks: Due to the clan's extensive focus on the mental aspect of their beings, they have become progressively weaker in many physical aspects. Their bodies tend to be frailer than others, and they are never able to develop the same levels of strength that others do. As such, all Kamizuki suffer a -2 tier to their STR stat, which cannot be changed via positive SCs, items, abilities, or jutsu. All members of the clan must also take the Frail SC, which cannot be balanced with a positive SC.
- Code:
[b]Name:[/b] Frail
[b]Type:[/b] Negative
[b]Description:[/b] This individual is incredibly physically frail. They bruise easily, and their bones are more brittle than most. Where most individuals would suffer a simple fracture, an individual with frail will suffer a broken bone. Wounds they receive also bleed for longer without medical attention.

Kekkei Genkai Jutsu: Name: Laughing Man
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Element: /
Range: Within Hearing Range
Specialty: Genjutsu
Duration: 2 posts
Cooldown: 5 posts
Description: A simple auditory Genjutsu; the user merely has to laugh to trigger the effect. The target, upon hearing the initial laugh; begins to hear countless echos and variations of the same laugh. For the first post; it sounds as though you are locked in a room with dozens of people all laughing as loudly as possible directly into your ear; causing serious disorientation and confusion. In the second post the user is rendered temporarily deaf from the sheer amount of over stimulation; causing the brain to shut off the sensory input from the ears until it realizes that the noise has stopped. During this post the target is rendered stunned, as the physiological overload is enough to cause the brain to overload, and as such the body is unable to act due to the broken circuits from the brain to the body itself.
