Uchiha Oshiki
D-rank
The natural world was something that, as a whole, appealed to Oshiki and he truly believed that anyone who it didn't appeal to was a bloody idiot. Well, not quite, but he was a massive lover of nature. It was the exact reason that the ninja world was still as it was, the law of conservationism - Although things will decay with age, things will never truly end until met with an outside force. Although people believed that everything had it's time and everything dies, it's not a simple case of cause and effect. Rather, it's more that as time goes on, more and more problems become either created within the system of the person / society / object, or they just become more pronounced. Either way, said problems go on to cause problems, whether it be people rebelling against the unfairness of society or the heart being unable to keep going with all the degeneration that it's suffered through, and thus they either have a heart attack or are overthrown and thus end up being lost and need to be replaced. However, the inverse was also true, nothing ever truly changed unless people did something about it. It was this very reason that he was having to go out to the park and make sure that it's, in his bosses words, "fabulous".
Now, he wasn't sure whether the use of the word fabulous was just something mocking the concept of giving the park what was equivalently a makeover, or whether it was used because he'd heard of Shi's sexuality, but either way it just seemed silly, although he guessed that didn't matter now. Now, he was stood in the gardens of the park, looking at the garden and trying to work out what his time would be best spent doing. They had never said what he had to do to pitch bin and help things continue looking good, so he guessed he would have to ad-lib the entire thing, as awkward as that was going to be. He was no good with nails and sanding wood, despite his speciality in taijutsu he always went too fast and thus found it hard to realize when it would be appropriate to stop, but what he was good with was dealing with the flowers. His mother, despite being an uchiha, was a massive softy at heart and always tried to force her love of botany onto her kids. It had never really stuck, but he could still do it pretty well. So, that was what he would do.
Walking over to the plot, he slipped on his pair of thick gloves to avoid thorns and nettle barbs getting through to cutting his skin, before crouching on his hands and knees and pulling the weeds out. This, he pondered momentarily, could be used as a beautiful metaphor for what his term as hokage would be like - Pulling out the weeds that fed off the nutrients that the actually wanted flowers needed, although that in itself sounded a bit... well, he was going to say dictator-y, but now that he thought about it wasn't the position of someone who was elected by his predecessors without the say of the people of the village a dictatorship anyway? That was a strange thought, and one that definitely kept his mind active whilst he continued to pull out the filthy, filthy weeds. By the time he was done thinking about that little mind-tickler, there was an entire pile of dead foliage next to him, made up of brambles and nettles and daisies - Weeds were, after all, simply flowers that were growing where they weren't wanted.
