Isamu
D-rank
Isamu was there. Where was there? The pool. He hated going there. It was like a large community filth bath, where everyone went to play and it didn't get cleaned through the whole day. He would much rather swim around in the natural waters of Mizu no Kuni's coastlines, but they were too far from the village. There was of course the various waterways running through the village itself, but those were usually prohibited from swimming in. Why was he trying to swim so ardently? It was extremely hot outside. The sun seemed to be oppressive, leaving Kirigakure begging for the cool air and mist that it usually had. Ironic how such a plain and cold village could be so unbearably humid...
Of course, this didn't make matters any better. Isamu wasn't the only one who got the wise idea to come to the pool, of course not. It was crowded with other ninja and random villagers, none of which he knew or even recognized. He awkwardly sat in the shallow end, surrounded by little kids and sweating like a wild pig. The children whispered amongst themselves seemingly afraid of him, and he sighed, bored with everything and too hot to care. He pulled the black ribbon that held his hair up and let the ponytail fall down into long while locks that fell over his shoulders. Maybe this whole situation would be a lot less gloomy if he actually had someone to talk to; it wasn't like the pool wasn't helping, it was quite cool and refreshing, but without anybody there with him aside from small youngsters, what was he to do but sit and wait for the sun to set?
