They were walking through the gates of the Village Hidden in the Mist. Home. She was finally home. Back to her place of origin, her village. It brought a graceful smile to her lips, eyes lighting up with happiness. The smell of the cool morning mist and damp wood in the air, she remembered it from such a long time ago when she was but a child, sneaking out of the house to play in the yard. A lecture that had earned her, but it was one of the few childhood memories she had that she was fond of. She was home, and she was glad. A thin fingered left hand would move to touch the back of Yuudai's right forearm gently. "We're home." she said, a smile could be heard in her soft voice. "Come on, we need to see the Mizukage-sama. I need to figure out where I'll be staying until my home can be built." And with that she would let Yuudai lead the way, herself trailing slightly behind him, and Suichi likely behind her, or to Yuudai's other side.

Soon they would be at the administration building, lest anything strange and unusual happen on the way there. She was enjoying the weather outside, cool, wet, actually quiet due to the fact that most of the population had not risen and left to browse the markets yet. A smile was still on her face as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the feel of the weak early sunlight on her face. It felt good to be back in some place that was familiar, even if it had been rebuilt. Entering the Administration building, she asked to see the Mizukage, and to her surprise, she was informed that the Mizukage was not in Kirigakure at the moment.

Turning to look at Yuudai she asked, "Well... Where am I supposed  to stay Yuudai-san?"

Kirigakure no Sato. It was good to be back home. The smells, the sights, the sounds. All of it. While it had only been three weeks that he spent out of the village, including his travel time, it felt longer than that, almost as if he had been away from his home for such a long time. The sight of the village gates were just enough to bring a faint smile to appear on his features. There was nothing to him the could replace Kirigakure and the people the inhabited the village he swore to protect. With his own thoughts wondering to the village, Himitsu surely would feel the same as him, yet different as she hadn't been in the village for over five years. He felt gentle touch upon the back of his right forearm, not needing to look to know who it was. He wondered where her mind was, what she was thinking in this moment. With Suichi trailing behind them, he heard the first words she said within the walls of the Village Hidden in the Mist. That once again brought about a faint smile, clearly hearing the tone of her voice and understanding somewhat how she felt. The first order of business was to meet with the Mizukage, to resolve the issue of Himitsu's living situation for the time being. With that said, he began to lead the way to the administration building, though he noticed Suichi's want to go home, allowing his companion to go back on his own. Gently, he would tug the hand that previously touched his forearm, indicating he would lead the way to the building.

With it just being himself and Himitsu going to the administration building, as Suichi decided to go home by himself, it was kind of odd for him to be walking with her. He made sure that she was walking next to him, as he'd adjust his steps to be closer to her. He wasn't exactly sure why, but he just did it. Maybe due to it being easier to guide her if he was walking next to her, gently letting her know in which direction they would head in by a physic gesture, a small nudge. As the village was relatively quiet due to the time of day, the minimal amount of passerbys nodded to him, as he was one of the well known shinobi in the village, he was, after all, one of the legendary three of Kirigakure no Sato. He stood a bit farther back when they where in the administration building, with Himitsu asking to the Solstice, the Mizukage. When she turned to let him know, he wondered why she would have left. He knew he was probably overlooking something, though they would deal with it eventually.

What really hit him was when she asked where she would be staying. Instantly, there were two solutions that presented themselves to him. One, rent a hotel room until the return of the Mizukage. Two, let her stay in the guest room of his home. The first option was ruled out, mainly due to there being no need for it. Hesitantly, he spoke out, the timid nature of his personality hinting out, "I suppose.... you could stay at my home for the time being. We have an guest room that you can use for the time being." His caring nature towards people was evident, though still shielded by the impassive nature he usually displayed. He'd wait for her reply before leading the way back to his home, evidently making sure she was within arms reach.

She tentatively waited for him to speak, slightly anxious about where exactly she would be staying. Where was the kage? Why was she not here? Where would she Himi be living? How long would she have to wait before the great Water Shadow returned? Would Himi have to rent a hotel room? How then would she figure out her way around the village? Everything was new, she knew not of how things were settled now that it had been rebuilt. She raised her hands to her chest, fidgeting and moving her hands in a meek and somewhat nervous manner as she would glance from the floor to his face then back to the floor over and over again.

Then she heard him speak, he spoke slowly, hesitantly, his obvious shyness showing, which she found to be rather attractive. Call her weird, but she just liked it when guys were shy or bashful. What was he offering her? He was offering for her to stay at his house for the time being? ... Oh dear. He had invited her, but she didn't want to feel like she was a burden, she didn't want to be a burden. What had she done in order to deserve this amount of kindness? What had she done for him to get this sort of kind treatment? Why was he offering this to her? She wasn't offended at all or anything of that nature... Just surprised that she was being shown this amount of compassion, even if he was awkward about it. After a quick moment, she decided that she didn't want to offend him by questioning his offer, and so with a slight bow of her head, she spoke, "I would be most grateful, Yuudai-san." She would feel his cold hand take hers and lead her away from the administration building. She couldn't help but wonder what his house would be like, what living with Yuudai, even if only for a little while, would be like. She wondered if he had any housemates, or if he lived alone, and if she would be asked to do any housework to compensate for her time spent.

After a few moments of walking she asked, "Yuudai-san, do you have any housemates?"

He had let go of her hand on the trek to his home, though clearly kept close enough to direct her through the village as they were making their way along to his home. Yuudai could clearly remember the way back to his home, as he had travelled down the various paths of Kirigakure, taking almost every route at least once in his lifetime. It wasn't a slight on Himitsu's part, but rather on his own awareness of his home village. A few moments of walking also seemed to bring about questions from Himitsu, pertaining to those he lived with. There were only a few people that would visit his home on a constant basis, though none who stayed there regularly except for two people. "Well, the only one's who are ever in my house are my mother, who visits on a regular basis, and Suichi who lives with me. Other than that, its just me." The honest truth, though there was nothing he needed to hide either. It was usually quiet in his house, though the noise was on another level whenever his mother would drop in for a visit, or even Isamu at that.

The walk itself was only a few minutes long, bordering almost the seven minute mark. There as no avoiding the silence on his part, seeing as how he enjoyed peaceful walks through the village, taking in everything. He received some looks, mainly due to having a female companion next to him, though he paid no real attention. There wasn't much he could do otherwise. Once they reached the front door of his one story house, the door already unlocked thanks to Suichi's antics, Yuudai slightly turned to Himitsu. "Well, we're here." He opened the door, leaving it open for Himitsu to step inside before him. The atmosphere of his home was somewhat like the Aisu nature, though mainly due to the location of his home being near other members of the Aisu clan. His house was simple. A simple, single story house with three rooms. One which he occupied, another that he used for his paper work, and the last which served as a guestroom, nearing the front door. On the right would be the family room, with a clear view to the kitchen, as only a half wall would seperate them. As for furniture, it was minimal, to say the least. While his mother told him to decorate his home, he saw no need and lived with the bare essentials. Simple furniture for the living room, dining room, his office, and even his own room. The only room that was even remotely decorated would be the guest bedroom.

She listened as he answered her single question about who else lived with him. It didn't really surprise her that he basically lived alone. He just seemed like more of a loner, someone that preferred their peace and quiet by themselves, so it made sense that he didn't live with anyone else aside from his pet. She heard him talk about his mother, stating that she visited regularly. It made her blink. She wondered what his mom would be like; would she be quiet, reserved and respectful like Yuudai, or would she be something different? Would she be stern and discerning, disapproving of Himi knowing her son? How would she act knowing that Himi was now staying with Yuudai until the Mizukage could return? Would she look at Himi's eye and hair colour, along with her body shape and proceed to judge her as a worthless stupid blonde brood like others had done before? Or maybe his mom would actually be nice and caring, considerate even? Maybe the lady would enjoy talking... Himi didn't know, but the thought of the impending meeting made her slightly nervous. It would be such rude behaviour for her to just hide away somewhere in the house whenever Yuudai's mother visited.

Aside from his answer, the walk over had been short, less than ten minutes at their casual pace. She could hear the few villagers that were out and about greeting Yuudai respectfully. She assumed it was because of his rank. She knew he was at least a Jounin, and a very powerful one at that. She could tell this from the size and power of his chakra pool. Maybe she was walking next to a legendary Sannin? She just kind of looked up at his face, blind periwinkle eyes catching the light of the early morning sun as it broke through some of the clouds and mist. On the walk, she had memorised the turns and time and where to go, at least from the administration building to Yuudai's home. After a moment she heard him say that they were in fact there. Adjusting her light pack slightly, she smiled at him before walking through the door that he had opened for her.

The first thing that hit her was how his home smelled. It smelled cold and crisp, like a cold winter night without snow, but it also smelled like him. His crisp clean misty scent, it made her remember that night from three weeks prior, she could feel slight butterflies in her tummy when it crossed her mind. Those blurred memories; she couldn't remember much of it, but she could remember his scent and some of the noises they made, as well as a tinge of pain. Hopefully, he wouldn't catch the blush on her face due to said blurred memories, or mistake it for her being cold perhaps. Blinking a few times, she glanced at the ground before returning her soft gaze to his face. "So, are you going to show me to where things are or... ?" She said, fidgeting with part of her Ao Dai.

He was perpetually drifting in and out of his own thoughts as he walked in after Himitsu, closing the door lightly behind him. This certainly wasn't the first time he had a stranger in his home, mainly due to Isamu's antic of bringing over a complete stranger one day, though it certainly didn't feel like such. It was almost as if nothing truly changed for him, his life at home was somewhat dull compared to others, though he enjoyed it. The only times that things really changed were in three different scenarios. The first included going on missions, self explanatory. The other two involved Isamu and Suichi's antics, separately as the two haven't collaborated together... yet. That would be a worry for another time, one that may not come to fruition. He also knew he'd have to practice genjutsu in Kiri soon, seeing as how needed to develop a set of illusions, enhancing his prowess. Though, for now, he was just glad to be back home.

Yuudai noticed a faint trace of red gracing Himitsu's cheeks as she turned to him, though clearly not aware what would cause the to arise. Was it the temperature? He surely didn't know if that was the case, due to being used to such nature from his inherent nature. Though it could certainly be attributed to such, but he was certain it wasn't that cold. Instead, he nodded at her slight request, showing her around his home. The areas that he added in more details about when explaining were mainly the living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, guest room and the general layout of his office and his own room. He wouldn't know how she'd take his explaining, mainly because of the circumstances placed around them, but knowing that she may have to stay with for a while, it was best to get her accustomed to the layout. After Yuudai completed his miniature tour, he spoke up, asking if she needed anything. "Would you like something to eat? Is there anything you want to do now that your back in Kirigakure?" Maybe she would want to explore the village today, as shops would begin opening up in a matter of mere moments, the early risers getting to the streets if they needed to go someplace, or even going for walks.

She blinked, attempting to push those fragmented memories to the back of her head while he gave her a tour of his home. Turning right from the door, he lead her into the living room, describing the couches, coffee table. Turning left a bit, he described the dining room, walking around the circular dining table before coming to stop at the kitchen, explaining what all was in there. Walking back towards the door, she was told about the generalities of his room and office before being taken to the guest bedroom, and having that described  to her, from where the bed and night stands were, to the fact that she had a mirror on the closet door and a window on the wall opposite of the door. He then showed her were the guest bathroom was, told her about the shower, sink and medicine cabinet. After the tour was done he took her back to the living room and proceeded to ask her if she wanted anything to eat, or if she wanted to go do something now that she had finally returned home to the Village Hidden in the Mist.

What did she want to do? Well, first, she wanted to take a shower and change into cleaner clothes, sit down for a moment  since they had been travelling, then she wanted something warm to eat. Well... What was she craving? Noodles, and soup; but what type of noodle soup did she want? Ramen? Nah... To common... Yakisoba? Eh, she wasn't that fond of the slight sweetness the dish had. Udon. She was craving Tsukimi Udon; it was a simple dish, it wouldn't take very long to make, nor would it be to fancy and or difficult. "I would like some Tsukimi Udon, do you know how to make that? But first, may I take a shower?"

Making her food? He knew how to cook basic meals, though most of the time he spent in the kitchen was mainly to warm something up. He could manage possibly making her Tsukimi Udon, though he knew he'd be slightly stumped while making it. Though, Yuudai would feel more comfortable, since Himitsu would most likely be taking a shower while he'd be cooking. "I'll make it while you take a shower, so it'll be ready by the time you have finished." He doubted it would be that difficult for him to prepare a simple dish, udon at that. "Is there anything else you need?" He'd wait to see if she had a question before he would either help her with anything else, or make his way to the kitchen, and hopefully be successful in his endeavour to cook Tsukimi Udon for two.

He'd wait for an answer before he would do anything. He doubted she would enjoy his cooking, as it would more than likely come out as bland. Suichi was taking a nap in the living room, and he'd probably wake up by the time Yuudai was done cooking, though he wouldn't have to make anything for Suichi, as there were plenty of homemade snacks his mother made for the small creature. Would she enjoy his cooking? He doubted she would say anything if it turned out to be terrible. Shedding off his tailcoat and vest, which he would gently place upon the couch, Yuudai slightly rolled up the sleeves of his short, in preparation of when he would cook.

She smiled at his agreement to make her Tsukimi Udon. She liked that dish's simplicity and ability to be quickly made as well as it's tastefulness. It tended to get it's flavour from just the broth and green onions. It was a simple dish that wasn't too strong on taste and light on the stomach. She shook her head no when he asked her if she needed anything else. She was fine with figuring out the rest of what she needed about the shower and how it worked. What if the shower only let out cold water? Well, she would find out. She didn't see it as that much of an issue.

Taking her bag, she turned and left, walking down the hallway, past her bedroom and onto the bathroom. Once inside of the bathroom, she would close the door behind herself before beginning to strip of her clothes. First to be cast off would be the upper part of her Ao Dai, the main piece of the dress; then her white bra; boots; leggings; and finally her white bikini styled panties. Folding her clothes up, she left them in a neat pile on the ground before withdrawing the clothes she would be changing into; black bra and panties; red tank top; and black capri pants. Comfortable clothes for what she hoped would be a comfortable day of simple relaxation inside the house. She didn't really want to move that much today. Call her lazy, but hey, everyone needs a lazy day every once in a while.

Stepping into the shower, she turned the two knobs, attempting to figure out which did what. After a moment of being burned and a moment of being cold, she figured that the left controlled cold, and the right controlled the hot water. Adjusting the water appropriately, she began to wet herself, or rather, mainly her hair first, since it took the longest to wash due to it's length and thickness. In a few short minutes, her hair and body were covered with a lather of citrus scented bubbles. She smiled softly, enjoying the warmth of the water as she rinsed herself off, taking time to get all of the extra conditioner out of her hair. Grabbing a nearby clean towel, she dried herself off and would get dressed. Her shower had taken all of fifteen to twenty minutes. She figured that she had given him enough time to make the meal.

Out of the bathroom she came, towel in hand as she was drying her hair still. Coming to the dining room, she would take a seat at the table and glance over to smile at Yuudai. "So chef, show me your masterpiece~" she said in a playful tone.

He had heard the shower turn on, then off, then on once again, then the constant, faint patter of water falling down to the bottom of the shower. Being a shinobi, his heightened senses allowed him to pick up the sounds, sounds that a regular civilian would never be able to hear at this distance. Readjusting the sleeves of his shirt, Yuudai was already in the kitchen preparing to make Tsukimi Udon for himself and Himitsu. Filling up a pot with water, he placed it upon the stove, turning it on so that the water would eventually boil. Yuudai would scurry around the kitchen, getting out the ingredients that were necessary for cooking the meal he promised to prepare. Also, he would go to the table and place the chopsticks and two place mats, both next to each other, on the table as it was easier to do now. While waiting for the water to boil, he would chop a spring onion and a few leaves of napa cabbage. The next portion would involve him having to cook the noodles, adding them to the pot. This was one reason why he avoided cooking, having to be near a hot stove, and in this case, boiling water, something that was contradictory to the Aisu nature and would affect him more than a normal person, though he was a shinobi, he'd be able to manage through this. He'd have to wait for the udon to finish cooking before he could move on to the next step, rinsing them with cold water, something he enjoyed more than the boiling water, and rub the residue on the noodles off. With the noodles in a strainer, he would begin to shake it, getting rid of the lingering droplets of water that were still on the main ingredient of the meal. Placing two cups of cold water inside of another, much smaller, pot, Yuudai would place a small piece of konbu in it, then allowing it to boil. He hated boiling water. Once boiled, he would add some sake, dashi, soy sauce, and salt in to the pot. Then it was the napa cabbage. What was the next step? Cooking more often would have helped him recall what to do. After a few moments, it came to him. Adding the cooled udon to the broth, Yuudai would need to now boil it once again. Too much boiling, that's why he avoided cooking. Cracking to eggs open and adding them to the broth, Yuudai would add in the spring onions to his concoction. All that was left to do was cook it for a minute or so. Himitsu would easily be done with her shower in that time. Ladling the broth and noodles in to two bowls, after the time for cooking was over, Yuudai was done.

He heard a playful noise coming from the table, asking him to show his masterpiece. His cooking certainly wasn't the best. "Don't get your hopes up, Hime." Yuudai's tone certainly was playful, though he clearly did not know what caused him to say such. Normally, he'd have just ignored it, or maybe have given an honest answer, which he did in a certain aspect, but the tone coloured it differently. Taking the two bowls to the table he placed one before Himitsu and the other on the blank place mat next to hers. Yuudai would take his seat, though wouldn't begin to eat his food until he heard how it tasted.

"Don't get your hopes up, Hime." She heard him playfully call back to her. Oh, that was unusual, she hadn't expected a playful tone from him. Wait. What had he called her? Hime? He had called her princess? That was indeed highly unexpected, and it made her smile, blush tingeing her cheeks again as she turned her head away from him in an obviously bashful manner. She wasn't used to compliments at all. She couldn't help but titter softly over the compliment and her own reaction. Turning her face to look up at him, she smiled, thick black lashes coming together when her eyes closed from her happy smile; it was a different smile from the normal slight smile she gave in most conversation. She was actually smiling this time, not a partial smile or a smile born of politeness. The food smelt rather good, so the taste couldn't be that bad in her opinion. She heard the sound of a bowl being placed in front of her, and could feel his arm set it down in front of her as well. She waited until he placed his own bowl and sat down before speaking. "Thank you for cooking for me, Yuudai-san. Dealing with the stove's warmth was likely uncomfortable." Bowing her head she said, "Thank you for the food." She was being polite, or at least trying to. She didn't want to offend him while she was a guest in his home due to the grace and kindness of his heart.

Picking up her chopsticks, she pulled the bowl closer to her, holding it in her left hand. The bowl felt pleasantly warm to her, after all, she did take lukewarm showers, and her fingers and toes tended to get unpleasantly cold after she took a shower. Putting the chopsticks into the bowl, she pulled some noodles, cabbage and a piece of spring onion up and took the food into her mouth, slurping it to avoid the heat of the soup and to taste the broth more. She wasn't being piggish with the slurping, it was just how one was actually supposed to eat Udon. She could taste the soy sauce, the tinge of the sake, the spring onion, and the cooked but still firm texture of the cabbage. It was fairly good for a home cooked meal and it brought a pleased smile to her face. Putting the bowl and chopsticks back down, she would push her wet hair out of her face again, noticing that Yuudai had yet to begin eating. "Well, go ahead a try it masterchef~ It's pretty good tasting." She said again in a playful tone. She was enjoying this, just spending a little time with Yuudai, eating some nice food and being able to use a playful tone instead of a formal refrained one like she was used to speaking in. She would wait for him to try the food as well before proceeding to eat her own bowl of Udon again.

He returned the smile as Himitsu had taken his playful comment lightly, though there certainly was more behind it by the way she acted. She had turned her head away, looking in the other direction, the turning back to face him to meet him with a smile of her own, her cheeks tinging red. Was the atmosphere he presented cold enough to cause her to feel cold? She had taken a shower, so that could also add in to those factors. Then again, maybe it was something else entirely? Though this smile certainly was different than the rest she had presented to him on a number of occasions. He wondered what brought about the sudden change. Maybe it was her being here, in Kirigakure no Sato, her home village. Her comment about the stove not being comfortable to him was true, for that he was somewhat grateful for that comment, yet he knew he would rather cook for a guest than have a guest cook for him.

It was when she commented on his food being good that he slightly nodded before indulging himself in to his own meal. Yuudai's eating habits were slow, almost as if he was methodically picking apart his food, though that was a slight exaggeration. "It could be better. It's not like it was anything too difficult to make." He always took in his meals slowly, wanting to savour the taste, unless it tasted horrible. Then, he'd just forgo eating, or politely finish. In between taking his food, he would pause for a slight moment, thinking about what to say. "What do you want to do today? Is there any particular place you would want to visit?" It was only fair of him to ask. Maybe she would want to go someplace, and seeing as how they had the whole day ahead of them, it would be simple for them to go out if she desired.

She heard him begin to eat, and so she continued on with her bowl. For breakfast, this was a delightful surprise. She loved herself some Udon, she liked it just as much as Mei Fun in fact. She noticed something while she ate; Yuudai tended to eat slower, whereas she ate at a more normal pace. Maybe he just liked to savour his food; anyways, it wasn't like she was going to tell him how to eat, so why did it matter to her? It didn't, she was simply making a sort of observation. As she continued to slurp her own food, she heard him pause after a few moments before asking her if there was anything she wanted to do today, anywhere she wanted to visit. Did she want to go anywhere? Did she want to actually do anything outside the walls of this house? She ate while she thought, and after a short moment she would respond to his inquiry. "Visit somewhere? No, not today at least. Today I feel liked being lazy and just relaxing. I've been up and about a lot recently if you think about it, and I also need to schedule a doctor's visit within the week. So, yeah. I just want to relax today; you don't need to take me anywhere."

After a moment, she slurped some more noodles before saying, "So, do you have any hobbies?" She was curious about what else he did in his spare time. She knew that he was a high ranking shinobi, and that he was likely being pulled into missions a bit. But she wanted to know what else he was into, just to see if they shared anything in common. She would eat on her Udon more while she waited for him to answer, stopping respectfully to listen whenever he did answer.

Staying at home the entire day? That was fine with him. A doctor's appointment? Why would she need to do as such? Flu shots? Probably not. Informing the hospital of her state in Kumo? Possibly. What else was there? Maybe it was something else he was overlooking, which most likely was the case. Maybe, it had to do with that night's activities; that was a clear possibility that could easily come to life, yet at the same time it could simply be a worry that wouldn't exist. For now, he'd just nod and accept that he and Himitsu would stay here in his home, though having nothing planned to do. He knew his mother wouldn't visit him today, mainly because she wouldn't drop by if she was unaware of his return to the village, nor would she have a way of knowing. He'd visit her possibly later today, or even the next day, seeing as how the journey to Kumo was long, and it was early morning. He required some rest at least.

"As for hobbies, there's not much that I really do with my limited free time. I guess reading would be the only thing to come to mind, though I don't do much of it. Between dealing with the clan, training, whatever paper work I have, I just enjoy relaxing in general." He considered himself a boring person, which was true to him at least. Compared to others, he was much more laid back, casual when it came to spending his leisure time. "What about you?" He was curious as to what she did in her spare time. While he waited for an answer, he went back to consuming his food.

"Well, in my free time, I enjoy meditating and trying to figure things out. Try to figure out the problems and issues in my life so that I don't stress myself snowy." She paused her speaking to smile, laughing at herself lightly. She always poked fun at her pale blonde hair, playing around about her hair turning white easily. She was far too young for her hair to turn white, so for now, it was just lighthearted. "Aside from meditating, I enjoy taking quiet walks through gardens. ... So, I assume that you get called on missions a lot; and dealing with your clan? Isn't the Mizukage the clan head, or do I infer wrong?" She remembered him saying that his cousin, Solstice Aisu, was the Kage, so she had naturally assumed that she was the clan head... But why would he have to deal with his clan and do paperwork if he wasn't the clan head? Maybe Solstice was just making him do her work? That might have been the case indeed. She didn't know, so she was asking. She didn't want to make a wrong assumption and offend him by treating him with any sort of disrespect, no no, that would be counter productive to their relationship. She didn't want to upset him while she was a guest in his home, as that would end badly.

After her inquiry, she would return to eating her food, she was nearly done with her bowl. It had been good tasting as well. Sighing softly, she put down her chopsticks. There was a lot on her mind at the moment. Aside from feeling like a burden to Yuudai, she was worried about being pregnant and the consequences of it. What would the man sitting next to her think? Should she ask him? Was it the right time to ask him? She would be going to the doctor sometime within the next week, so she would find out either way. Should she just wait until she got the results back to ask him? The thought made her slightly anxious, a coiling, unpleasant fluttering feeling in her gut that indecated nervousness. If she was pregnant, she would be out of the Shinobi work for over a year, and she didn't know how Yuudai would handle it. Would he be happy, or something else? Would he kick her out? Would he be angry? He didn't seem like he would, but then again, she had only known him for three weeks, even if in those three weeks they had talked and gotten a bit more open with each other, less formal and refrained.

She glanced up at his face, fidgeting with her tank top, and likely making Yuudai uncomfortable with how bare she looked compared to normal. Much more flesh was showing right now, but then again, he had seen much more prior to today... Though that thought didn't help her feel very much better. She hoped that her outfit wasn't offending him or otherwise causing him to be displeased. If he looked at her face he would be able to tell that she wanted to ask a question, but wasn't, or rather, didn't know how to ask the question. To be honest, she was afraid of what his answer might turn out to be. "Uhm... Yuudai-san..." She started, her soft voice trailing off.

While he was eating, hearing her answer, he also caught her actions from the corner of his eye. He doubted she'd be seeing any white hairs anytime soon, though he wasn't exactly sure why that was a concern of hers... unless it was a joke; which it most certainly was. Then there was her comment about the status of the clan head for the Aisu Clan. Hadn't he told her previously? Probably not. How would she react upon hearing the news of his position of clan head? That wasn't the only piece of information that he had not supplied her with, as his status of being one of the legendary three of Kirigakure no Sato still wasn't known to her, nor would she be able to know. He certainly didn't know how to bring that matter up. Well, firstly, he'd have to answer her query about the status of the clan head, something which he was somewhat hesitant to bring up. "I take missions here and there. As for the status of the clan head, while you are correct to a certain degree, your also wrong as well. The Mizukage is the previous clan head. Once her inauguration as Mizukage came to be, I was given the title of clan head ever since, though its only a title. I see it as being a placeholder." His answer was impassive, almost as if he was passing it off as being nothing. If anything, he'd not be in his position, and instead serving as just a shinobi of Kirigakue. An ordinary shinobi. Not being a clan head.

They went back to the silence after his answer, Himitsu back to attending his food, as well as himself. He wouldn't rush his pacing, though it'd get done sooner or later. Possibly in a minute or two. While he did eat slowly, he did take in slightly larger portions of the meals he ate, which made him usually finish near the norm. An odd little fact. His mind was dwelling on his current position in life. Was this where he wanted to be when he was child? It was relatively close, though some aspects were missing. Besides the missions he was assigned for the villages benefit, and his own stature in the rankings of power within Kirigakure, Yuudai knew he could still be so much further. He knew that. It sparked a new resolve, to get better, faster. He'd just need to be able to set aside enough time to do that, some other form of motivation in the future as well.

Slight movement caught his attention from the corner of his eye. Something he was trying to avoid, yet her fidgeting with her tank top, something that was already revealing enough to his eyes, seemed to make everything more pronounced. A slight memory came to mind, though he tried to shake it off quickly as he heard her voice. That sound was enough to make him refocus. "What is it, Himitsu-san?"

"So... You are a stand in Clan head?" She asked rhetorically. To be honest, she understood, but she didn't think that stand in's were ever really assigned, then again, she had been in a coma for five years, and other people's clans might be different from how she had known her clan customs to be. She didn't think any less of him for being a "placeholder" as he had put it. In fact, it made her think a bit more of him. If he was a "placeholder" then he was respected and trusted enough by both the Mizukage and his clan head to hold her place while she dealt with other more important things for the village.

Fidgeting with her tank top, she heard him ask what her question was. She didn't know if she should ask him, she didn't want to ruin the light feeling mood by bringing up worries about the future... But, she had to. She needed to ask him, for her own mental well being, for if she didn't, the question would be at the front of her mind until she asked, it would be there when she tried to sleep, and it would continue to cause her unneeded anxiety. Swallowing with slight nervousness, she breathed in then out, making a soft noise, before venturing to ask the question. "... Well... What are we going to do if... If I am with your child?"

She looked down from his face, her right thumb moving to trace a small oval shape on her left hand's back side. She was anxious about what his answer would be. Would he be upset that she brought it up? Would he be mad at her? All of these things that were careening around in her skull. She didn't know him well enough to correctly guess how he would respond to this, and the most she could hope was that she wouldn't get hit or otherwise abused, be it emotionally, physically or mentally. Somewhere in her mind told her not to worry about being hurt, but she wasn't going to pay attention to that part of her mind. Too much abuse in the past, too little amount of knowledge about the man sitting next to her to convince her to trust that she wouldn't get smacked. Call her strange? Yes. She was quirky, tremendously so. Blinking a few times, she waited for his answer.

He nodded to the question she posed, knowing that he had no need to answer it, nor delve in to further detail about the status of the clan as it was. The position meant little to him, his thoughts continued along that track for the meanwhile, until he clearly noticed the atmosphere change once again. The fidgeting, his eyes clearly wandering, however much he convinced himself not to. The skin that was exposed, taunting him. And then, his musing were brought out by a question. A question that he tried to push to the back of his mind, though he expected it to come up eventually. The possibility, a likely one, that she would be with his child. He was quiet, not knowing how to address this, even though he had somewhat of an idea in his head. He didn't want to say something that would clearly be misinterpreted, thus the hesitation on his own end.

Would he be angry? No. It was just as much on him, as it was on her. Maybe even more-so because he should have been responsible enough to take precaution, or even stop before they went to that. But, he didn't. That left him here, in his current predicament. Taking his left hand to rub the bridge of his nose, he let out a small sigh, though afterwards hoping she never read into at, as it had no meaning. "Honestly, I don't know. I guess, if you were, I'd do whatever I could to help out. It's not due to taking responsibility, but rather something I actually spent time thinking about. And, I suppose we can attempt to get to know one another a lot more because of this and see where that would place us?" He didn't know if his suggestion, question, request, whatever it was would be the right thing to say, but he always had a problem speaking with others, and this situation was so much more different than any other times he had to speak out to people he barely knew. "Please," He used that word only a select few times, mainly when there was something that needed to be addressed, "if you have anything to say, just say it. I.... don't want to be like him." The last part of his sentence was low; low enough that it couldn't be heard, yet it was amplified to him because of the silence surrounding them in this moment., something he rarely ever talked about. The man known as his biological father. He didn't know the specifics of the man, yet he knew that man was well-off before meeting his mother, before he left her.

Himi looked up at him with her soft periwinkle eyes, curious, and worrisome. Her eyebrows came together, rose up at the inner corners in concern. Then when she heard his voice, somewhat lost in thought as he responded, her look softened a bit. He said that he was going to help her out, and it wasn't because he had, but the choice was actually something he had thought over for a long time. She thought that it was good that he was going to help of his own free will if she was with child. His next sentence brought a monalisa-esque smile to her lips; he had suggested that they get to know each other better and see where that would lead them. She didn't have that much of an issue with that suggestion, she was already curious of his personality, and had liked what she had seen of it thus far. From what she could tell, he was shy, but rather nice towards people. She had figured this when he had offered to let her stay with him when he could have just told her to rent a hotel room until the Mizukage returned.

After a slight pause, she heard him speak again, in an even softer, quieter voice that carried the tones of desperation, a thing she least expected to hear coming from him. She heard him say please, then continue on, telling her that if she had anything to say, she needed to say it now. She heard him address himself before stopping and trailing off, her keen ears unable to hear the rest of whatever he was saying.

Well, what did she have to say? She didn't really have anything bad to say, which is what she was assuming that he was asking for. No, she couldn't think of anything negative to say about him. She glance up at him, her face not sad nor pitiful, but concerned for his emotional state. This whole thing was probably just as stressful for him as it was for her, and she was a naturally caring person. She was caring more about his emotional health than her own at the current moment. Besides, what did she have to say about him? She wasn't really sure if this was the time to say nice things or just continue to be silent... She didn't want him to take her silence as holding back, so, moving her left hand, she would aim to let it rest gently on his thigh in what she hoped he would perceive as a comforting way. She would then smile in a slight way at him before speaking up, her voice gentle and kind.

"Yuudai," She didn't really both with a honorific at this point, "to be honest, I don't have anything negative to say about you. You've been a wonderful person to me, nicer than I expected. Most people just try to use me or try to get with me because of my looks or my last name... At least, that was how things were before I ended up in Kumo. My clan used to hold sway in the Hidden Mist Village, so naturally I was viewed as a gateway to power when I was younger. Aside from that, people have never been genuinely kind to me, not even my own family. Being blind is a curse and a blessing. Curse because I've always been mistreated due to it, but a blessing because I do not need to focus on material things that others do, nor am I all that vain. From what I can understand, you are a good person." She finished her statement with a real smile, eyes showing that compassion she rarely felt towards people.

The light touch upon his thigh, the gentle voice that carried itself throughout the house brought a faint smile to his lips. Maybe she was right? Maybe she wasn't? Would he end up like him and just leave everything behind? Would Yuudai end up abandoning the village he swore to protect? He hoped not. Letting out a small sigh, he turned his head to face her, though not fully. His eyes went back to his food, focusing on the contents of the bowl, one's that would soon be empty. He was grateful for her words, yet his train of thought still remained pessimistic to a certain degree, thinking about all the potential negatives that could affect his being; and through relation, Himitsu as well. He could sense a hidden meaning to what she was saying, but his mind was far too preoccupied currently. Thoughts about himself, his future, Himitsu, and the potential child that could be born.

"I guess, it is a lot to take in at once. Maybe, we should just deal with things one step at a time? With how.... everything came to be, it's kind of difficult to wrap my head around it and think it through. Then again, things never exactly work out as one plans." His voice was a bit louder than previously, almost going back to his normal tone, though with clear implications that his mind was still preoccupied. Going back to his thoughts, he turned his attention solely back to his meal, continuing to finish the last bits that remained that he had left before he would have to deal with a task that he completed daily; a shower. There would either be full-on silence with the noises of them eating, or Himitsu saying something in between bites. After moments of eating, just solely focusing on his meal, he would wait on Himitsu to finish as well, if she had not finished before himself. Getting up and out of his seat, he would take both their bowls and deposit them in the sink, making note to wash the dishes and chopsticks later on. He would turn once again towards Himitsu, projecting his voice so she could hear. "I'm going to be taking a shower, if you need anything, just ask for it." Waiting a moment, for a reply, if there was any, Yuudai would head to his room, to gather a new pair of clothes he would wear, before he would go to the shower.
