1 A newly appointed Sannin's return (Suna > Konoha) Mon Sep 02, 2013 6:10 am
Sousetsu Senju
D-rank
His journey to Suna was a more pleasant one than his travel returning to the Leaf as the sand and sun were still coarse against his skin. Sweat was still running from Sousetsu's and his armour could be heard as he landed from each great leap. The clink of metal surely hindered the silent approach but this did not bother the Sannin much as he was on the brink of heat stroke and wanted to be on familiar soil before he was stranded in the rough deserts of Suna. A breeze rolled past him and a clutter of sand spewed across his face with it leaving Sousetsu to cover his eyes in hopes none would breach them. He retrieved a canteen of water from the pouch that lay across his lower back and proceeded to drink from it. The cool and smoothness of the water ran to the back of his throat and into his system for a refreshing satisfaction and the shinobi had shown this with a grateful sigh as he had finished his firrst gulp.
A lot had happened since he had left the Leaf village. Sousetsu had trained a new technique known as the 'Water release: syrup capture field', a tehnique that could change the outcome of the battlefield and turn it to his favour with sticky adhesive covering the area. He also had seen that one of his students, Kichirou was doing very well in the Chuunin exams and the only one to make it that far in his squad. He was proud of the others of course but it showed the real potential of the card wielding leaf gambler. He would not stop at much until he got what he wanted. Sousetsu, however, could not stay much longer. The land was not to his liking and his village needed him for reasons he did not know and had to find out. The new Hokage was appointed in his absence which would be exciting to hear about and who got the role. No matter who it was, Sousetsu would still happily give his life for him and his village. In a way, he hoped it would be a close friend of his and not a village elder. Someone he could talk to and share ideas. Someone he could trust fully and would not question his actions. He needed to someone to believe and not one to just do as he says.
He turned back to the attention of the canteen and used the remainder of what was left in the canteen to throw over his head and let the water cool off his head and trickle down his hair onto his neck to give off the same effect. As he continued to leap the breeze seemed to cool him off more as the wetness seemed to compliment the wind for a more refreshing taste against his skin. He grinned as he had seen the border of Konoha, the familiar soil was within his grasp and sand was disappearing. It was soon just fertile land of grass and soil along the earth. It was a more serene feel and kept Sousetsu to calm and level headed level. He was near at the end of his destination and soon he would greet the Kage and return to his home. Maybe he would treat himself to some barbecue, who knew? Only time could tell and Sousetsu was becoming more and more intrigued as he approached closer to the village. The Leaf border was within his range and with a few more leaps, he was back home and ready to take on the day ahead.
