Matsu
D-rank
Between the second and third jobs of the day, he was planning to grab a bite to eat at the ichiraku ramen shop. Walking from the training area, it was a very short stroll, being just up the street a ways. He'd take the short walk, noticing how things changed when it came to daily life and the shift from day to night. He generally wasn't out and about when this shift came, so it was a bit eerie to him. Eerie, then calm. He quickly grew accustomed to the atmosphere of the quickly changing day to night shift.
Walking into the Ichiraku Ramen bar, he'd take a seat in a chair that sat in the middle of the bar. There were patrons moving about and the bar seemed to be fairly crowded. It made sense though that a bar would be populated as the sun went down and the moon rose into the sky. Matsu would quickly place an order, putting his elbows on the bar and resting his head in his palms. It had been an alright day, surprisingly more relaxing than he had expected, but he'd gone several days now without even a cup of tea.
The effects of his addiction were beginning to take place and a migraine was coming over him. He'd probably be fine to handle the mission, but after that, he'd probably be forced to go straight to bed. His migraines weren't so bad that it made his daily life impossible, but he generally tried to go to sleep in an attempt to wait them out. Sometimes it worked, other times he would awaken mid way through the migraine, putting him in immense pain.
As the bowl was placed before him, he'd quickly eat the food at an alarming rate, placing money down and leaving. He needed to get this last mission done and soon so that he could lay down. He walked through the town with almost no energy. His sight began to fade on his right peripheral as a dark aura began to cover the side of his sight. Covering his eye, he'd continue to walk, finally reaching the rendezvous.
Meeting the Captain, he'd make no sign of his and spoke only his name which he stumbled over slightly, but managed to get out audibly. He made no effort to try and remember the name of his client. This work was all motor skills, he didn't need any careful skills to make sure the cargo was safe.
Moving the boxes from one location to the other, he'd place them in their rightful places before asking the client to sign off on his envelope which he stumbled through finding. After folding it up and replacing it in his sleeve, he was on his way, stumbling through the town back to his home, laying flat out on his bed.
It had been a long day and not for the reasons that involved the mission. His energy was expended from trying to continue his daily work while under the effects of a migraine. He would have to remember to find a way to cure himself of the addiction. As the migraine intensified, he put a single hand on his head, running his fingers through his hair. His face was stuffed into the pillow and as he laid there, he struggled to think back through the happenings of the day. He had managed to complete 3 missions on his own. The week had been surprisingly productive compared to the rest of his lazy life. Though he was a certified shinobi, he had never gone on many missions. Actually, he'd never gone on any missions at all.
Soon, he would look into advancing his rank from Genin to Chuunin, but that was a issue that was better left for when the migraine subsided.
