He had done it. The now rogue ninja Aneki had made it to the village hidden in the leaves without too much trouble. He smirked as he stepped through the large gates into the village, looking around. So this is where some of the greatest ninja hailed from. Seemed fitting, Aneki thought to himself looking about at all the bustling people who came and went or were just going through to do some shopping. It seemed that everyone had something to do today. He was rather happy that no one would pay attention to him, as he had just left his village more attention was the opposite of what he wanted. He was wearing his normal outfit, his red sash over his mouth area, the tan sleeve on only his left arm. The bandage over his left hand, the two black bands on his right bicep, the one on his left over the sleeve. He had his black forearm guard on as well as the haori around his waist. His normal skin-tight black shirt and black shinobi tights were there, as well as his black shinobi tabi, no sandals. His sword was back in the sheath on his back, no more blood upon it.

His headband was still attached to his belt, around his waist as he hadn't bothered to remove it. The man looked around quietly, before shrugging and moving his form into the gates more, looking around as he walked. It was such a beautiful village. Such a wonderful place the for the rogue shinobi to grow and become stronger. Maybe even pick up a few things from the people around here.

Sarutobi, Mitsuo had been informed by one of the members of the Hokage's new information team that there was a foreign shinobi making their way to the village. Their information had spotted a Kumogakure headband attached to his waist, and upon hearing the information, Mitsuo volunteered to investigate and greet the shinobi on his entrance to the village, fixing the Konoha headband he had fastened around his neck, and making his way to the gate. He unconsciously moved to push the glasses up the bridge of his nose, forgetting that since he had tied a rope around them in Sunagakure he hadn't needed to do so, and then proceeded to pull a smoke from his pouch and light it, taking a deep drag and exhaling the smoke through his nose.

The sun was shining bright on another beautiful Konoha day, the shade from the surrounding trees providing ample coverage so that it wasn't too hot as he strode down the streets, his chainmail shirt glimmering in the sunlight. He reached his right hand over to check that his bracers and gauntlets were properly attached to his forearms and hands, doing the same with the other hand, as more of a precaution than anything. He then adjusted the sash he wore around his waist, which bore the symbol of the Sarutobi clan, three interlocking crescents. This sash had been passed to him by his father, who had recently passed away, and showed him as the head of the Sarutobi Clan, something he was most proud of.

He let out a low whistle and saw a lean yellow and black shape dart towards him, catching up to him and walking directly beside him. He rested his hand on the black mane of the king cheetah, his lifelong companion and closest friend, Chisoku. Chisoku had saved his life on countless occasions and Mitsuo had done the same for him, the two sharing an unbreakable bond. They made their way to the gates together, standing watch as they saw the foreign shinobi make his approach, noting the sword on his back. Mitsuo did as he always did, unconsciously brushing his fingers against the hilt of his Katana, and then his Tanto, making sure his old friends were still there and ready if he needed them. He took another drag of his smoke, exhaled, and then smiled.

"Welcome to Konohagakure no Kato, friend. You must have traveled a long way. I am Sarutobi, Mitsuo, apprentice to the Hokage. What business do you have here?" He reached out his hand in offer to the shinobi as a peace offering, hoping that the Kumo-nin would shake it and state his intention. Mitsuo had no intention of fighting on this day, but would if he needed to defend his village.

A hand was offered to the Shinobi and he smiled underneath his sash, taking it in his own, and shaking it up then down. This was so far a good greeting. Better than what he thought he would get after deserting his village. This was the crucial part though. His business in Konoha was to find solace but how much could he tell this man? He had to choose his words carefully or it could start something more than he wanted. He thought on what to say for a few moments before he finally spoke. "I seek solace. I was attacked by members of my village and my clan for my distinct personality disorder. They saw me as a danger and wanted me disposed of. I had no choice but to defend myself and escape them, to the only place I thought would offer me help or at least refuge from their prying eyes and scrutiny. I have done no wrongs to them and they wish me dead simply because I can not control who I am. I was raised differently from most and inherited problems from my mother and father. I do not think that a reason to kill someone, do you?"

His eyes trained on the other man for a moment. This was the deciding factor: How would he react? He had to play it cool for now and hope for the best. If anything were to happen his hand was ready to find the hilt of his katana for defense. He watched the other man closely, trying to read his movements and his body language. Then the Ryuzoji's eyes went to the beast at the man's side. A beautiful creature to be sure, quite the animal. A cheetah as a companion must come in handy. He thought on whether or not he should get his own companion for a moment then dismissed it. First he would have to make himself stronger before worrying about caring for another creature.

While he awaited an answer from the man, he began to ponder on the many ways he could advance himself in strength and such. He could learn new jutsu or train what he already knew, making himself more powerful in those respects. He had many ideas on how to be a better ninja or a stronger shinobi and he desperately wanted to try them out. Sadly, his greatest strength was also his weakness. If only he could find a way to keep raiton from hurting him as much as it should, then he'd be near unstoppable.

Mitsuo listened to the man's tale. He certainly had an interesting recent past from the sounds of things, and it was not Mitsuo's place to pass judgement, though he wouldn't anyway. He was not the kind of person to pass judgement and wasn't one to turn down somebody in need. He wasn't sure what his sensei would say about the strange nin but it was his job to do so, and Mitsuo was only his guard.

"I do not see that as being a reason to kill, no. I am sorry for what you have gone through, it seems as though your situation has been quite difficult, and I hope the walls of Konohagakure no Sato will be able to house you for a while at least. I will take you to see the Hokage-dono, my master. I will not leave his side and I will make sure that nothing bad happens during the meeting, though I'm sure we will be fine. I am looking forward to getting to know you...I did not catch your name..."

This was a test, a man could not be trusted if they would not give their name. Though he didn't want to seem distrustful, his job as personal guard to the Hokage meant that he had to be extra careful of who he would lead through the doors of the Administrative Building to meet his master.

He had forgotten to give the other man his name. He chuckled softly, reaching up and pulling the sash around his mouth down. There was nothing out of the ordinary under his sash, it was merely to show the other male his disarming smile. " Aneki. Aneki Ryuzoji. Nice to make your acquaintance Mitsuo-sama. That sounds great, I do hope your hokage will understand as well as you have what has happened and what I have been through." After he had given the man his name, he raised his hand, motioning for his new companion to lead the way to wherever they needed to go. He looked down at the cheetah, smiling once more.

"That is a beautiful animal. However did you to come to be partners?" Truth be told,he was genuinely interested in this. He may try to get one for himself at a later date and train it to stay loyal just as this man's cheetah did. But what creature could he have with him? Maybe a wolf. Yes, a wolf! If he ever came across to having a faithful companion at his side, it would have to be a wolf.

Mitsuo smiled and patted Chisoku's head once more. "This is Chisoku, I met him when I was a young child. He saved me from most certain death, and him and I have been friends ever since. Call him my guardian, if you will. Anyway, I will take you to the Administrative building now, and set up a meeting with the Hokage." Mitsuo lit another smoke and started winding down the streets of Konohagakure no Kato, making sure that his guest was behind him.

Shit, sensei, I don't know what you're going to think about this fresh off of the heels of an attack. I hope that you don't get too angry with him though, poor guy...
