The Kaguya Temple, it was a boneyard of death and decay, a testament to the clan’s warlike tendencies and destructive behaviors. Most Kaguya members had sworn oaths of loyalty to the Mizukage, binding them to her by their own sacred warrior code. However, rumors had spread of a threat arising in two aging Kaguya who had begun to speak of the clan’s old ways, ruthless murder, and pointless battle all in effort to prove the clan’s might. The pair of them had preached the destruction of Kirigakure through blood and bone, an insurrection from even a small portion of the Kaguya clan mustn’t be allowed. While the young Aisu, Reitou hadn’t been assigned to put an end to this beginning of an insurrection, he had taken it upon himself to end it.
Rei sat on the edge of a camp not too far from Temple, in the far tree lines; in his left hand he gripped two pictures of the pair of his targets. His green eyes scanned the temple seeking out his targets, once spotted he would stalk and destroy them in the most subtle manner possible. He had developed a jutsu especially for this task, something he had called Hyōton: Oni Kōri Hari, while he understood the basest mechanics of the technique he hadn’t practiced it in the field. Reitou figured this self-assigned mission would present the perfect opportunity to apply the technique to actual combat and test its effectiveness.
The camp itself was crawling with life as insurrectionist Kaguya Clan members scurried about accomplishing whatever tasks they might have to fulfill. Rei’s eyes spotted several Kaguya Clan members training their unique Bone Manipulation Kekkei Genkai, arming themselves for what seemed to be war, and generally appearing to show aggressive tendencies. This was obvious signs of aggression and war, something Rei naturally assumed this was due to the influence the pair of Kaguya “prophets” had been pressing on the clan. The thought of the members of this prestigious clan betraying their home sickened Rei, not because he cared about Kirigakure but because it showed a lack of respect to the Clan’s ancestors who paid for their right to stay inside the village with blood.
The young Aisu staked out the compound for hours with little to no success, the pair of insurrectionists never showed their faces and it would seem their will only further developed as the insurrectionist forces continued to gear for their “glorious reckoning”. As the sun set in the distant horizon, Rei prepared to make his move, he would have to infiltrate the compound to eliminate the threat at its source. Once darkness had fallen over the compound the Kaguya forces seemed to thin out and disappear, only a few guards remained on the exterior of the compound, they walked in intersecting patrol patterns. Rei formed a quick hand sign and in a poof of smoke his body was changed from human into that of a small Swampland Fox, something that the Kaguya forces were used to seeing and seemed to ignore for the most part.
Rei scurried past the Kaguya forces, drawing little to no attention as his light red form and bushy tail darted into the compound and into the section he determined most likely to house the insurrectionists leaders. Rei’s fox form held still for a moment, it’s ears twitched before the form suddenly exploded into a puff of smoke revealing his true identity as a Kirigakure shinobi of Genin rank.
“We were wondering…” An aged yet light voice spoke out
“…When you would come.” A second deeper voice rang forth, finishing the first’s sentence.
“We have to say…” The first voice continued
“…We are a little offended…” The second continued
“Kiri would send someone so…” The first voice spoke.
“Small” Both voices said in unison before they allowed a small chuckle to escape their lips.
Rei’s eyes remained blank as he stared at the two frail figures, neither attempted to even move or showed aggression. Rei silently formed a pair of hand signs, then Monkey and then the Hare. As Rei expanded his hands apart a light blue orb comprised completely of solidified Hyoton chakra materialized. It hovered in place between his hands for a few short moments before shattering into ten Senbon needles. The aged pair suddenly stopped laughing, their expression changed from mocking to completely serious.
“So you came…” The first voice said.
“…To kill us...” The second voice continued.
“Did you?” The asked together.
“That is correct” Rei replied calmly.
With that Rei snatched the ten Senbon as they hovered between his two hands in the most tranquil manner possible. In a single motion Rei flung the Senbon at the pair of Insurrectionist leaders, the needles penetrated deep into their necks. The pair grasped at their throats as blood began to flow freely; they gagged and choked on the thick crimson ooze. However, instead collapsing in death the pair simply exploded into smoke and the senbon fell onto the ground harmlessly. The sound of deep laughter was heard as the two clones faded from existence.
“It seems my ruse has been found out.” The deep voice stated. “Tis no matter…” The voice continued allowing for a small pause to signify four Genin rank insurrectionists to step out from the shadows. “It seems your time is coming to a close assassin.” The voice stated addressing Rei. “Kill him.” It barked to the Genin who obeyed in a drone-like trance.
Rei instantly darted for the center of the room, rolled forward, and grasped the Senbon he had just flung to destroy the Shadow Clones. As his roll completed Rei cursed himself or his hasty action, how could he have been so hasty? Right now there was no time to answer that, he had to eliminate the immediate threat. Four Senbon grasped in his his right hand and buried themselves in two of the Genin’s exposed throats, they gurgled in shock as they collapsed on the ground. As the two insurrectionist Genin on his left closed in, Rei threw two Sebon at their feet, causing them to stumble and fall, giving him an opportunity to escape one he took without hesitation.
As Rei retreated into the darkness of the Land of Water’s marshes a deep voice echoed.
“Yes, run little one, run. We will meet again.”

Name: Transformation Technique (変化の術 ~ Henge no Jutsu)
Canon/Custom: Canon

Range: Self/Sight
Specialty: None
Duration: -5 every two posts.
Cooldown: 2 posts after deactivation.
Description: Given all the missions ninja are assigned to--battle, intelligence gathering, diversions--this is a priceless ninjutsu. It is typically used to change into people other than oneself, but one also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons. This gives this technique an abundance of uses. The transformation of a skilled shinobi will be visually and physically the same as the original, so it will be impossible to tell the two apart. On the other hand, a transformation performed by an inexperienced person will have obvious discrepancies. It will be impossible to deceive anyone with it. This is one of the most basic ninjutsu, as such most shinobi know how to perform it. This jutsu is purely appearance-based, and does not give a ninja the abilities or jutsu of a person they transform into. Dojutsu can easily pick out this technique, and if the user has transformed into someone larger than themselves, the bits beyond their natural body will have no heat signature. This, and the fact that the chakra of the user wouldn't look normal makes it easier for sensing techniques to pick out transformed people. Costs 5 chakra on activation, and an additional 5 chakra every 2 posts.
Name: Hyōton: Oni Kōri Hari (Ice Release: Demon Ice Needle)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: C+1
Type: Offensive
Element: Hyōton
Range: Self up to 25 Meters
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: 6 Posts
Cooldown: 12 Posts
Description:
Hyōton: Oni Kōri Hari also known as Ice Release: Demon Ice Needle is a Hyoton based Ninjutsu. To begin this technique the user must perform the Monkey -> Hare hand signs. Once this is done the user spreads his or her palms apart roughly five inches and a orb of pure Hyoton chakra forms between them, this orb then shatters into ten Hyoton Senbon. These Senbon can be used as normal Senbon and pierce 2-2½ inches into the flesh however they cannot penetrate bones.
Because of Reitou’s Sub-Zero Body Temperatures all Hyoton based techniques gain +1 in overall power. As such Hyōton: Oni Kōri Hari is treated as a B rank offensive technique and hits accordingly. Because of this the Senbon created by this technique pierce 3-4 inches into flesh, can chip bone, and can be fatal if they pierce an artery or a vital organ.
