Miho
D-rank
Early morning Miho was walking from the Kage‘s office and yawning. She had slept only for two hours this night, and didn‘t sleep the other night at all. Miho had a lot of energy though. She couldn‘t tell where that was coming from. In her one hand she was carrying the mission scroll that was specifying that two parents need to leave their child alone to sort something out, so Miho had been asked to look after the child while the parents will be out, they will leave her a timetable to stick to as well. To tell the truth, Miho hated children, but as this was mission, so this was a serious business.
When she reached the house the family was living in, she saw a man and a woman standing at the doorstep. The woman seemed nice and friendly and the man seemed a little grumpy. As soon as they saw Miho, they rushed out of the house telling just that the little girl she had to look after was a complicated child and always made some trouble to her parents. They also added that they left the timetable on the refrigerator with activities that the little girl should do to make her preocupied and not to cause any problems. Hearing that Miho wasn‘t scared, she couldn‘t imagine someone one else more like of a nightmare than she was to others.
Miho stepped in the house without any hesitation and found the little girl standing in the centre of the living room. She was dressed in pink and seemed arrogant and spoiled. Her little hand was squeezing a stick that remembered that one of a wand. She was waving with that thing while shouting.
“I am princess Mia, now you shall be my servant or joker, you can choose which one you like! You shall greet the princess with the bow!“
Wait, what? Miho was ordered to bow by a little girl in pink? That was not acceptable to her at all. Since when do children order to older people? However, Miho didn‘t know what to act in this kind of situation when child is involved, she might know if she remembered how her childhood was, but she pretty much didn‘t have one seeing how she was raised by the most cruel man in the history and seeing how she was obsessed by the need to collect and wield weapons from the very young years.
For some minutes Miho though that she could tell some of those creepy stories she tells, but then realised that the little girl is still to young to hear those, thus, she might get a trauma for the rest of her life. Miho rushed to the kitchen to look for the timetable the parents had left, but she came to find that the timetable was forgotten. She couldn‘t see any piece of paper or something like that reffering to the curriculum. Well, Miho will need to come up with something to etertain the girl until her parents will be back. Miho went back to the living room.
“Well, I will be your joker then. We should go outside, so that I could show you some thricks, is that okay?“
Miho curved a fake smile while the girl nodded her head. Mia threw her wand on the ground and rushed outside. It seemed that the child was eager to see some ticks Miho has promised to show. When they both were outside the house, Miho moved her finger in the manner of circle and in the background one of her round chakram showed up. The weapon was shining in gold and was totally floating in the air. The little girl was surprised.
“Wow, how do you do that?!“
“It‘s magic. Want to see more?“
Miho smirked a little and the little girl nodded her head in excitement. Miho moved another finger and another chakram showed up from behind the house, it came right next to the one that was spinning and they started to spin together.
“Look there Mia, he has a friend.“
Everything of this was done by Miho due to her kekkei genkai, but Mia was too little to understand that. She was applausing for the trick, sitting there in her little pink princess dress. Sometimes it was so little that children needed, just some prove that their imagination exist in real life. Two girls were having fun at the same time. Mia was watching a good and unbelievable performance of „magic“ and Miho was remembering those times when she wielded those weapons just for fun, not only for need to fight someone or kill.
After some hours from that, the parents came home. They were surprised to find their girl happy and tired at the same time. Little Mia was yawning while talking to her mother.
“Momma, I saw some magic today and you said magic doesn‘t exist.“
The woman took the girl into her arms and sighed a bit under that fact that Mia was tired and won‘t bother her parents for some time. The mother thanked Miho for the help and apologized for not leaving the timetable that was promised. However, Miho did a great job by herself without any frowning or scaring anyone this time.
