Getting wet and dirty. . .

Training Secondary Element: C >>> B
((Takes place two days after our mission together))

A pair of chartreuse orbs looked intently at the forest affront of them. Dense Forest, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful place within the entirety of Konohagakure. The beautiful of the woodland itself is often lost on all of those who venture or walk passed it. Though that could be because of the bestial growls that elicit from the belly of the vegetation. Literally making some believe they were entering the mouth of a beast. The forest itself is a natural defense for Konohagakure, along with hiding them from the outside world. The animals and flora that populate had long since mutated into monstriosity that sometimes defy logic. It you weren't a predator, than you are certainly prey. Those were the laws one is subjected to when entering the area. It was because of this that only shinobi are allowed to enter, with them having to passed through a guarded gate beforehand.

And this is where we find our resident gambler this wonderful morning, the sun baring peaking over the horizon, coloring it with different shades of hues. The dark haired male had decided that it were crucial to train the affinities that he was gifted with before even beginning to create or learn new techniques. For what's the point of learning new techniques, when you can performed them due to the lacking of element understanding? This is how the man saw it and thus after flashing the chuunin his headband along with the proper shinobi identification, Kichirou disappeared within the forest.

Alive, that was the first thing he noted having walking through the dense area for over ten minutes, simply taken in the sights. Kichirou already had a destination in mind and knew exactly where it was, but just for a moment he wanted to look. Soon though his feet led him towards his intended destination . . .

The Naku River . . .

Though it wasn't the main channel of water, that being locate somewhere on the Uchiha's lands and Kichirou seriously didn't want to get caught trespassing on others property. Using the water walking technique taught within the academy, the gambler situated himself at what he considered the center of the running river, before using chakra to stay afloat as he got into a mediation position. Eyes closed, Kichirou began to search for the warm fuzzy feeling, he associated with his chakra. . . All the while blocking out the sounds around him.

Koji Senju

Koji Senju

So close… so close… Koji Senju was so close to becoming a Chuunin ; he savored the very though. Going up a rank would grant him permission to embark on perilous missions, give him tasks that a Genin couldn’t perform and most importantly getting him a step closer to being on equal grounds with his brother. Being a powerful and tenacious shinobi meant the world to Koji; not only for the sake of himself but mostly to protect his friends and train younger ninja.

Although excitement jolted through his veins, Koji knew just as much as anyone that he would progress in his crafts before he wouldn’t get any closer to his objectives. So, that is what he would do. On the current morning, Koji was training to heighten his skill set. He was excelling in the arts of Suiton, but his Doton techniques were lacking. Without warning, Koji would spend the next few hours making the earth dance while performing signals and shouting commands. Some Senjus found themselves more excelled in Suiton or Doton, but Koji wanted to bring out the best of both in order to gain a perfect understanding for his kekkei genkai.

Footsteps soon shep droplet like sounds of water in the running river. Another person had arrived at the scene and by that time sweat was escaping from the pores of the hardworking Genin. He positioned his view to reveal who it was, cocking his head slightly. The man revealed to be his partner from a mission he received not too long ago, Kichirou. What a surprise, he must have been coming to hang about and watch the scenery or maybe he had a deeper motive that just that. What brought these Shinobi together today? Koji came to a pause and gathered himself and looked toward his partner.

“Hey there, Kichirou! How have you been? Long time no see, huh?” Koji said chuckling, trying to joke around a little bit.

Where are you?” Kichirou consciously thought, driving further into his own conscious and subconscious respectively – looking for the warm feeling that's associated with one's chakra. The gambler didn't know how long it had passed since he entered into this deep meditation, nor did he care. The only thing he was concern with was finding his elusive chakra pool – and than locating the Suiton portion of it. A second or two passed before he felt it. A small warming sensation that started at the toes and continued upward. Now where was it?

Here?

There?

Ah! There it is. . . grasping onto stream of chakra, it being nothing more than a concoction of mental and physical energy – he used it as a guiding line, following it to his chakra pool. Green eyes watched looked in interested at the neon blue energy whirling peaceful, slashing some silver, with each movement. It was truly a memorizing sight. Ever so slowly the man stepped into the liquid, his disturpts causing miniature ripples. He was just about to submerge himself into the pool when. . .

“Hey there, Kichirou! How have you been? Long time no see, huh?”

The voice of someone broke his concentration, causing the sphere of water around him to explode outward, soaking anyone in the vicinity. Almost groggy his eyes open, locking onto the individual who dared to disturbing him doing meditation – Koji Senju.

Hmm been two days. Nothing really, meditating. Chakra is out of wack. . .” The gambler stated, never once moving from the center of the river, his body floating on it via chakra. The gambler idly wander, what the Senju wanted. . .

Koji somewhat noticed that he broke his associate’s concentration. The young gambler continued to rest on the river, opening his eyes to reveal his pupils, seeming somewhat annoyed by the Genin to speak with.

“Hmm been two days. Nothing really, meditating. Chakra is out of wack. . .” responded the gambler.

Koji was fairly aware of his agitation; the Gambler didn’t accept the joke. A thought then cut across Koji’s mind: why not train with this man? If both of them tested their skills against one another, they could adjust to the possibility of collaboration. The wind became to scream; getting even worst for a slight moment. Leaves began to disassemble themselves from the tree branches, staining the grown with a new shade of green. Koji connected his pupils with Kichirou’s, planning on letting him know that something was up. He collected his body parts into a bowing stance, bowing in respect to his associate.

“Kichirou, would you like to train Earth Style jutsu with you, if that is one of your nature affinities.” The young Senju claimed.

True, the gambler were somewhat agitated or rather annoyed at the Senju, for breaking his concentration while meditating. It wasn't because he didn't like being around the genin, but rather the dangerous that came with disturbing someone while in that state. Breaking one's concentration could potentially cause chakra to explode from every chakra point, like illustrated moments ago, risking the lives of those in the vicinity. Both of the genin were extremely lucky that Kichirou had some decent control and able to reign in the majority of it – though the main felt that his coils were slightly burnt from the experience.

The sudden pick up of the wind was unexpected but nevertheless appreciated by the green eyed male. The harder the wind blew the quicker he would dry off, and less likely to get a cold from being wet, An eyebrow arch slightly at the Koji who bowed in respect and than spoken about wanting to train affinities. How did the Senju knew about his doton affinity? As far as he was concern that wasn't on the public shinobi archives. Or was it? Did the genin also know about his suiton affinity as well? The realization was starling to say the least. For what else would those records tell about him? And why in the hell why this information was accessible to a genin? This was unacceptable, but just a minor nuisance. Not like anyone beside her knew his other secrets.

I don't really have many earth jutsus. Though I'm curious in seeing what techniques the fame Senju clan have or rather teaches their younger generation in hopes to live up to the founder of this village.” The first part was obviously a lie, not like Koji knew that, the other part was a mixture of curiosity and something else that would remain hidden for. Doing a quick bow of his own, Kichirou remain on the body of water, roughly three meters from Koji, both of them facing each other. The gambler took on a lax position

Lets makes this a spar. And you my friend gets first move. . .” Kichirou stated, waiting for the Senju to make the first move.

As the man was waiting for his opponent to make the first. A sharp pain ran up his body causing him to wince ever to slightly.

"Oh second thought, let me take a rain check on that. Going to the hospital."
And with that Kichirou left the clearing, and headed towards the hospital.
