“Memories is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.” – Kevin Arnold
The smell of her hair. The feel of her skin. The way she shivers when caressed a certain way. The way she loved at him with those passionate filled eyes, him having gotten lost into numerous of times already. The angelic voice of hers when she spoken. All of this and more were being committed to the dark haired male's memory, his arms wrapped around her waist. Kichirou's arms didn't move, even after being told that she trusted him, no he simply allowed their bodies to be pressed together for a little bit longer.
“And I trust you to death as well.” The words came out without hesitation, fingers caressing the side of her face lovingly, lips capturing hers once more. Did the man really meant the words he spoke? Of course he did for the time spent in Konohagakure she was the only one who had gotten this close to. Hell she were the only one who he gotten close to since the incident in sand. And while there were some reservation about falling completely in love with her. Though can you blame him? The last time he did so, he almost died in the process. So, yeah there were some reservation. But not enough to shun her away.
“You are beautiful.” He marveled at the almost nude form of the Hyuuga, having just removed the T-shirt from her frame, and taking a moment to commit it to memory. Though he didn't stare at her to long, didn't want to seem like a perfect. But it did take some considerable effort to do so. With loving care the gambler helped her with the kimono, caressing certain parts of her while doing so. He was almost finished with it when
Bam!
The door to his room were kicked off it's hinges, by a trio of Hyuuga, all he knew from personally experience – especially Akai's father. The man was extreme judgmental about the relationship the pair had, and didn't like his daughter hanging around a street urchin. Unknown or maybe known to Akai, her father had threaten Kichirou numerous of times, even going as far as having other Hyuugas to teach the gambler a 'lesson'. None of these sessions work, for Kichirou still remained friends Akai.
“You have some nerve breaking into my house.” Kichirou stated, subconsciously moving affront of Akai in a defensive manner. Clan status be damned, no one had the right to break into someone else home.
“And you, scum have no right touching Akai-sama” One of the other Hyuugas said, eyes already flaring, the fame Byakugan coming into view. Obviously the short black haired male was the hot head of the group, one who just itching to fight.
“Scum? The only scum I see here is you. For at least I'm not a dog to a clan who could careless about their own members. Who are willing to sell out their own if it means they get favors from higher ups.” The gambler countered.
The hyuuga in question was about to say something else when. . .
“Enough, Atsui-hitsu! You and your brother leave, wait outside for us.” The commanding voice of Akai's father left no room for argument. And thus the other two abide by the man's orders, leaving the three in the room.
Kichirou eyed the well respected man cautiously and with some form of hate burning in his green orbs. This was the one man responsible for Akai's pain and that was reason enough to hate him. Though the man idly wonder why Akai's father eyes showed signs of sorrow. Why did he feel sorry? He wanted all of this to happen anyway, right? The soft words of Akai reached his ears, before he could ask her father what he wanted, she sounded so defeated and as she stepped forward – Kichirou's heart couldn't help to break ever so slightly. This can't be happening!
When you love someone. . .
Without thinking, Kichirou grabbed Akai's arm, spinning her around till their bodies where pressed up against each other, eyes staring into hers while also looking at her father who just stared impassively at the scene. Kichirou saw through her facade easily, for Akai couldn't lie to him, no matter how hard she tried.
You must show it to them. . .
Kichirou's lips smashed into Akai's own, capturing them in a passionate kiss, his arms wrapped around the waist as he deepen the lip-lock, his tongue seeking entrance as he caressed her lower back. Damn it to hell! The one girl he was falling for was being taken away! This wasn't fair! Nothing of this situation was fair. While he knew her plan, he still didn't want to lose her, not for a second. And crystalline tears couldn't help but to slide down his face, while he pour everything he had into the one single kiss. His fears. His hopes. His dreams. Everything was poured into the kiss, a kiss that will be the last one for awhile.
“I love you Akai, don't forget that. I will always love you.” He spoke in a whisper, having just broken from the kiss and holding her closely.
Before it's to late
“Akai, go wait outside. I want to take to Kichirou alone. . .” Her father stated, waiting for his daughter to untangle herself from that man. Only after she had left did he do what he came to do. . .
Ten minutes, that all it took for Kichirou to end up on the floor, groaning in pain, from the severe beating he received from Akai's father. As far he could tell, the Hyuuga in question didn't break any of his bones, just gave him a thrashing that he would forget anytime soon. The gambler did try to fight back, but there wasn't much he could do against a jounin caliber Hyuuga.
“I'm sorry. . .”Akai's father said or at least that what Kichirou thought he heard. He couldn't be for sure, his mind only focusing on the pain. Eyes almost swollen shut, barely noticed the Hyuuga leaving his house before seeing black – unconsciousness overtaking him.
Akai-chan. . .
A brown folded up paper laid neatly under the cup of Tea, that surprisingly didn't tip over doing the assault. . .
