Dākuchairudo Jishin

D-rank
The rich undertone of iron was always present, her curse, her gift. Bright eyes stared at the man behind food-stall, she had just purchased a single Taiyaki. The man shuffled about packaging the cake up, stuttering nervously when he declared the price 'Th-that'll be three ryo, ma'am.', not unlike the other peasants of Kumogakure it seemed he was also frightened by her apparent lineage. Jishin stood in silence digging through her pockets to remove the ryo handing it over to the man, who took it, giving her the sweet cake and immediately jerked his hand backward with a scowl upon his face, 'Bigot...' she thought.

Taking a bite of the cake Jishin mingled her way throughout the market crowd, more often than not people made their way around her out of some sort of nonsensical fear that'd she'd kill them for no apparent reason. Just another reminder of the isolationism she faced on a day to day basis. The worst part about it, or so she thought, was the fact that she had gotten more and more used to it over the years accepting it as a fact, she would always be different to them...Fuck them... she thought to herself, expressing a slight smirk.

Minutes of movement later she had made her way to a quieter part of the market, sitting upon a bench of to the side listening to the blacksmith do his craft, the loud Cuh-Rang of metal on metal was oddly soothing. Taking another bite of the sweet cake Jishin glanced about looking for other Shinobi, the whole reason she had gone out into the market was that she had been assigned a squad, and oh how she hated the fact that she would have to work with others. While a brilliant Shinobi in the traditional sense of the word Jishin had absolutely horrible Social skills, in short she was crass and awkward, and combined with the sense of isolation she constantly faced, well, she's not the biggest fan of people...

Taking a final bite Jishin finished her sweet cake, crossing her legs in waiting, a sense of nervousness hung over her. Perhaps they would be different? she thought to herself, most likely not, but hey a girl can dream...

Nagare was walking down the street, looking for a girl. He'd gotten a message to meet her as well as Kharis down here, as the Raikage had put them in a squad together. How exciting. Naga looked forward to having a team to work with (not really friends, but back-up on missions). He only hoped that they weren't imbeciles. That would be his worst nightmare. But anyways, he finally came upon a woman--not a girl, a woman--who was sitting down, looking plainly off into the distance. He approached her carefully.

"Hello. I'm Nagare. I believe you must be Jishin? I guess I'm your new squadmate."

Horui walked casually behind him, taking in the surrounding area, enjoying the sunlight and the quiet. Upon arrival, he waved hello to Jishin while Naga spoke.

Kharis was walking through the market stalls smiling as Ayarin perched on his shoulder, whistling jokes in his ear about the people who were walking around them. As Kharis began to laugh, he noticed that he was wandering somewhat off course. He had ended up near a market stall that sold small food kabobs. While Kharis wasn't particularly hungry, Ayarin pecked Kharis on the head and asked if he could get one of the kabobs. Kharis rolled his eyes and decided to buy it since the falcon would just continue to annoy him otherwise. Kharis decided to go ahead and buy enough for his two prospective squadmates.

Kharis arrived at the meeting area. Sitting there was a woman with yellow eyes who exuded the smell of iron. While Kharis thought it strange, he decided to go ahead and offer the kabobs anyway as a way of greeting. "Hello very nice to meet you. My name is Kharis Nekito. I bought a kabob for you guys if you want it." Kharis smiled and hoped that they would accept. Ayarin was busy whistling as he complained about the fact that Kharis was giving away the kabobs.

Jishin's moment of serenity shattered as a rather bookish looking lad approached her claiming that he was one of her squad mates, at first glance it became apparent he was a Soseji. Made apparent by a bracelet upon his right arm, and the fact that he had his clone behind him who idly waved as the boy spoke. "Indeed." she stated, her gaze moving back Nagare, her expression making it evident that so far she wasn't impressed by the young man. Her piercing eyes locking onto him, without attempt to hide it, she began to further 'size him up', "Soseji..." stating his clan name, and flexing her knowledge. "I am, Dākuchairudo" stating her own clan name, as if her lineage wasn't obvious enough through her appearance, waiting for his response, waiting to see if he showed the disdain others did...

Her brilliant blue eyes shifted as a rather short Shinobi made his way over to the two, presumably another squad members, he had a falcon perched atop his shoulder which Jishin found slightly odd, then again she wanted a raccoon, each had their own preference she thought. Soon he closed the distance between them, still with kabobs in hand. Quickly he offered, and quickly Jishin refused staring at him for several cold seconds before speaking "Sounds like he's hungry, short-stack. Give it to him..." referring to the Falcon who seemed to be aggravated that his master was giving away food, and insulting the boy's height at the same time. Her eyes locked back onto the falcon, admiring it's beauty, she was quite fond of animals had they had little prejudice in them. "I am Jishin." she stated simply, her eyes still locked upon the bird.

Dākuchairudo. Naga and Horui had only heard the clan's name in old tales and street rumors. Most of the rumors had negative labels pasted onto the clan name, because of their less-than-desireable kekkei genkai. Eating human hearts seemed to be looked down upon. It didn't make a difference to Naga, however.

"You're clan has been through a lot in its history. You must be very proud of its progress and the abilities accompanying its bloodline. I'm sure you're a vicious battler, I quite look forward to fighting alongside you."

Horui looked at her as a person rather than a weapon, and admired the sea blue glint in her eyes as she peered over at Kharis, who had just arrived, and referred to him as "short stack". Horui smiled warmly at her and then turned to Kharis, outreaching a hand.

A quick telepathic conversation ensued, and Nagare said, "Horui wants your kabob. More than the bird."

Horui nodded happily, and Naga sat down next to Jishin.

Kharis had to hide a look of annoyance as the loud girl referred to him as short stack. Throughout the entirety of his life, Kharis had been something of a tiny kid. He was often made fun of for it, and it often led to him playing genjutsu pranks on his previous tormentors. He had somewhat gotten over it, but it still pushed some buttons for him. Kharis just gritted his teeth and handed Jishin's kabob to Ayarin who whistled in delight as he tore at the meat saying that he really liked this girl. She knew how to treat the falcon right unlike some masters he knew. Kharis simply rolled his eyes and listened in on the conversation. It seemed that Jishin was a part of a clan that he had only thought was rumor. While there wasn't anything necessarily wrong with the clan's bloodline, many people were prejudiced against them, and so they faced a lot of hatred and discrimination. Kharis was determined that he wouldn't be one of those bigoted idiots. Kharis walked over and also sat next to Jishin waiting for their sensei to arrive.

The sun shone brightly from high above the village of Kumogakure. The sun's rays made the snow that fell glisten in the ray. It made the village that he had sworn to protect seem magical on this day. He loved all the sights and sounds, though in his heart he could feel the weight of the world weighing on his ability to protect these people. The scar that resided on the left side of his face started to feel like it was burning as the memories of his friend flashed through his head like an old nightmare. He hated having these memories and wished that he could forget them, but he did not want to forget his friend. It was this scar that was a constant reminder of how he failed to protect the people he cared about. He quickly discarded these memories and looked down at Repede who was happily wagging his tail while walking with his master. Zetsume had found this puppy not that long ago dying and on the streets. Normally he was a cold shrewd man who did not seem to like many things. Though in actuality he just did not want to care for people and end up getting hurt. With all of that in fact, he still could not let this poor puppy die on the icy streets of Kumogakure. Since then the dog has been loyal and happy, which was fantastic for Zetsume. It had been some time since he accomplished the rank of Sp. Jounin, and he was assigned by the Raikage a squad. He did not really know how well his social skills would help, but his tactical thinking could prove to be viable in missions soon to come. He made his way towards the meeting spot that had been predetermined. Zetsume chose not to carry his gear with him, because he would not have to leave the village.

Zetsume arrived a little later than expected. Repede found a cute girl and tried to get her to pet him for awhile. It took some time to get the puppy away from the girl, though she thought it was cute. He could see the ones he was assigned to be the sensei for sitting on a bench all perfectly aligned, all except Horui. This shocked him because he did not think they would all be as patient as they have been on him. True he did arrive later than expected, but at least he showed up. He knew Nagare and Horui because he once trained with those two earlier this week. It almost seemed ironic that they would be paired on a squad. The other two were Kharis Nekito, and Dākuchairudo Jishin. He knew nothing of these two and looked as this could be an opportunity to learn new things, which he was always excited for. Zetsume was walking quickly toward his students with Repede quick on his heel. He gave a small wave, before speaking to them.

"Hello all, my name is Zetsume Zix. Most people call me Zetsu or Zix, either or does not bother me. I was assigned to be your team leader and I congratulate you on achieving the rank of genin. It seemed not that long ago when I was a genin. I never had a sensei, so I am not really to sure what to say. This fellow down here is my closest buddy Repede. We will do various things together to try and improve ourselves. It could be anything from missions, to training. Please feel free to ask me any questions you want and I will answer honestly. Though if you ask me a question, I get to ask you one in return. I would like each of you to introduce yourselves and tell me a bit about yourself. Please talk one at a time." , He knew his little speech was stupid but he kept giving a half smile towards them as a gesture of good faith. Even though on the outside he seemed to not be nervous to meet these people and have to guide them, on the inside he really was. Deep down all he wanted was human approval, maybe he could accomplish this one selfish thing with these genin. Repede was sitting right next to his right foot, wagging his tail against the snow and smiling happily at everyone.

Proud of the progress, her clan had made?...In her mind the clan's progress stopped the day that they set foot within the Clouded-City, locked into a dead stand still and like the Kemono No Haha, her deity, before her the thought of death before assimilation still whispered in the back of her head...Still the boy meant nothing in a negative way, dismissing the comment, "And I look forward to seeing your mettle tested in combat, Soseji." while she didn't her statement to come off as coarse, it certainly seemed that was. As though the statement was meant to be acerbic, or intended to jest that the boy couldn't hold his own. Jishin eyed Nagare curiously as he sat next to her, causing her to move further down the bench away from him, as if the poor lad had cooties or something of that nature.

Of course the plan failed as Kharis also sat upon the bench, making her thoroughly uncomfortable, and forcing her back closer toward Nagare. Clearing her throat she sat in silence, staring off toward the smith who was still working upon his craft unsure as to what the social protocol was in the situation she was stuck within.

Luckily for her she was pulled out of the situation by the final member of the squad appeared, their Sensei. A young man, scarred across the face, wearing a leather parka. He was followed by a pup, her attention focused upon the dog until the man spoke, well more like prattled on, or so she thought. Her eyes narrowed staring at the man, now identified as Zetsume Zix, asked for a little information on her. 'Has he not received a dossier upon the members of the squad, or was this just some sort of stupid formality?' she quipped to herself. With little intention of giving the man details upon herself she replied, "I am Jishin, of the Dākuchairudo clan...I kill people for Ryo, and sneak around in shadows." obviously the latter half of her statement was meant to sound asinine, poking a bit of fun at the man. As far as questions went she had none, she knew enough about the man as it were. She knew how he looked,, his name, his rank, and his taste in animal accompaniment. That was more than enough for her, showing a rather grand sense of disinterest in her Sensei. Chances were she would be outgrowing the squad soon.

Jishin now seemed distant and uninterested. There was a forced tone of voice as she said, "And I look forward to seeing your mettle tested in combat, Sōseiji." Nagare decided not to continue the conversation as it was uncomfortable for both parties involved. Kharis sat on the opposite side of Jishin casually.

Horui was pink with anger as he watched Kharis feed the kabob to the falcon. He had blatantly ignored Horui's outstretched hand. He was about to start administering death-stares, but Zetsume approached. Ah, Zetsume. The man who had just trained with Naga and he. Also apparently the squad's new sensei. A smile was on his face, which faded as he began to lecture the students and demand facts about each one of them individually. The dog behind him seemed peppy and excited.

Jishin started first, saying, "I am Jishin, of the Dākuchairudo clan...I kill people for Ryo, and sneak around in shadows."

An awkward silence stayed in the air for a moment, and Nagare was next to answer. "You and Kharis already know me, so this is mainly directed at Jishin.", he turned to her and looked her square in the face as he proceeded, "I'm Nagare Sōseiji and this is my twin (a result of my kekkei genkai), Horui. He's a clone, but as human as you or I."

Oh, Naga, you're making me blush he thought. Nagare ignored him and continued again, "I have a keen interest in things like Kuchiyose and animals and mathematics. I'm a very logical person. I don't often spend time with others unless I know them very well, but I suppose I'll be spending lots of time with you three, won't I? Anyways, my goals in life are those of understanding, as I only strive for knowledge of the world, its inhabitants, and life in general. I want to know it all, and I will eventually..." he trailed off, mumbling quietly until he was inaudible. He snapped back into reality and looked up to Kharis, waiting for his answer. Horui stood attentive as well.

As their sensei approached, Ayarin whistled into his ear asking what the thing being held by him was. Kharis raised an eyebrow and answered in the same whistling tone that it was a puppy and definitely not a snack. Kharis turned his attention back to their sensei who was almost a foot taller than he was. Zix is lightly muscled and dressed in a simple t-shirt and pants with a black leather coat whose hood was fur lined. Kharis decided to go ahead and introduce himself after the other two had done so. "My name is Kharis Nekito. I enjoy playing my flute and hanging out with Ayarin." Kharis gestured towards the falcon on his shoulder who was giving Repede several curious looks trying to figure him out. "Ayarin kind of wants to say hello. He won't hurt him, I promise."

After hearing all of the members speak he felt as though he failed a little on them. They had only managed to say the most obvious things to him which he already knew. None of them managed to say anything of great interest when asked about themselves. Zetsume had never really been much of a leader and honestly liked being alone more than being near people. He saw them as either potential allies or potential enemies. No one can be sure of how someone is just by hearing a couple of words spoken by them nor by just reading a sheet of paper explaining what kind of shinobi they were. He never did look at the dossier for them because he figured that this would be easier than this. After a short sigh he decided he would speak, "Please do not try to throw me off as some ignorant fool. Honestly, I never wanted to be a squad leader. I will not blame you for not liking me, personally sometimes I do not like the person I have became. I feel like now would be the time to speak up if you wish to quit this squad. I will hold no resentment towards you nor animosity towards your choice."

He was foolish to expect them to talk about something personal in their lives hoping that they would open up to him. Having a true friend was all that he wanted deep down inside and had hoped he could achieve it through them though now he felt defeated. Zetsume could feel a small drop of sweat sliding down his back. Talking to people was never really his ideal of a good day, and now none of them showed any interest in being part of his squad. Zetsume cleared his throat with an abrupt cough before speaking again.

"It was foolish of me to expect more from you without giving something in return. I never did like people, even when growing up it was hard for me to find friends in this village. One day though that dream of having a close friend came to reality and thus I felt my heart warm. Though all to soon that friendship was taken away from me due to how this world is. He stopped a fatal blow that would have killed me by jumping in front of the blade. I watched as my only friend was cut into two before my very eyes. This scar on my face was due to him saving my life, I will never forget him. At the time I was to weak to save him or myself. I have lived with that grief ever since. Though now I am much stronger than I was before and take this as my pledge as sensei that I promise so long as I breath, no harm will come to any of you while you are under my supervision."

He had hoped that would somewhat lighten the mood in the air by sharing an old tale of his past with them. Though they might just ignore him and end up thinking he is foolish, he did not care. Repede was wagging his tail and playfully jumping in the air not noticing how the tension was. That was the best part of animals, they knew nothing of evil and lived day by day with what seemed to be endless happiness. That is how Zetsume saw the puppy and that is how he hoped it would always be.

Then something dinged inside of his head like a light turning on. It caused him to laugh rather loudly as he noticed that the person named Jishin was in fact taller than everyone other than himself. It looked rather odd seeing a female being taller than males, and it caused him to laugh a little louder than expected. Once realizing he was just laughing and not speaking again he stopped himself and tried to keep his "Sensei look" straight, though he never did think he looked cool while trying to do that look.

Zetsume looked at the bird thing on Kharis's shoulder, he called it Ayarin. It seemed to be giving odd stares towards his puppy and wanted to simply say hello. It was funny that the boy named Kharis said that the bird would not hurt him, like Zetsume would allow any kind of harm come to that dog. He loved that dog more than he loved himself, that was a fact. "Kharis, your bird may say hello but take this as a promise, if he hurts him I will not hesitate to cook that bird up with some noodles.

His clone, he considered him to be human? 'In the context he feels or thinks in complexity, is that what distinguishes humans from non-humans?' she perplexed, still not sure as to what made a person, well a person. During the moment of thought a blank expression sat upon her face, obvious that she wasn't really paying attention. Snapped back into reality as the boy stated he wanted to learn 'everything', quite the juvenile fantasy, she would absolutely have to address that one. "So you seek to accomplish something that no man has ever before, and in all likelihood never will? A majestic goal, if I've ever heard one..." her tone as acerbic as ever, for a moment she thought of asking him to solve the 'Hodge conjecture.', deciding that would have been a bit much she sat in silence, eyes locked upon the bookish Nagare.

Kharis then spoke of how he enjoyed playing the flute, a dandy's pastime, turning to look at him simply to roll her eyes in obvious distaste. She had nothing to say to him on the matter, her gesture had been far more than enough to describe her feelings on his interests.

Sensei saw it fit to prattle on a bit more, now bordering the melodramatic, stating that they all had the chance to leave the squad and so on and so forth. 'Yes, we have the chance to leave the squad and put a black mark in our future reports...Anyone who would think of doing such a thing's clearly out of their damn mind.' thinking to herself her eyes fixated upon her new Sensei.

A look of disgust crossed her face as he spoke of the merits of friendship, and how his only friend had died for him, "So, Because of your weakness another Shinobi died, for you none the less? And you are willingly telling us this story? I would be far too ashamed of such an occurrence to EVER allow it to pass through my lips." also the speech did not inspire confidence that he could protect them, as if she needed protection, under intense situations. In her mind, weakness was not something that could be purged from the body and the soul, it was something that was eternal, undying, unending. He had let another man die for his mistakes, and would probably allow the situation to reoccur. To put her thoughts into the simplest of words, the feeling wasn't exactly reassuring...

Nagare's eyes shifted as Kharis and Zetsume spoke. Kharis went on about flutes, very lighthearted in an adorable way, while Zetsume told of some tragic experience, and gestured to the scar on his face. His dog seemed nonchalant, messing around in the snow the entire time. Jishin gave Zetsume a cold look as she said, "So, Because of your weakness another Shinobi died, for you none the less? And you are willingly telling us this story? I would be far too ashamed of such an occurrence to EVER allow it to pass through my lips." After that, it was silent, an awkward and uncomfortable silence. Nagare decided not to break it, and obviously Horui couldn't. Horui did however, distract every one by walking over to the Kharis' falcon and snatching the strands of meat hanging from its beak, and he ate them ravenously in front of the bird before giving it a sly look. Horui never was the kind to be mature in a situation where he was being ignored or disrespected; he always responded with sadness, anger, or revenge, or some sort of combo of the three. The with this fleeting moment it was silent again, aside from the sound of Horui's loud chewing.

Kharis noticed the look at Jishin had given him when he said he enjoyed playing the flute. She obviously didn't appreciate the finer things in life as well as its potential combat capability. "Jishin you will be glad that I have my flute with me when we go into battle. It might just save our lives." As Zix began to tell his story, Kharis's had to hold back tears as he realized the depth of emotion the man was showing. Then Jishin began being her apparently usual loud and obnoxious self. This time she was almost being cruel to the man who had just tried to connect with them. "Jishin that's a horrible thing to say. Everyone makes mistakes no matter how powerful or influential they are, sometimes those mistakes lead to deadly consequences. All you can do is try to minimize mistakes and deal with the consequences of what happens. Zix probably regrets making those mistakes every day, and I'm sure he's felt more regret and pain than you could ever inflict on him with your cruel comments. He's trying to show us he cares, and you're just being unkind. He's our sensei, and I will be happy to be his student." As Kharis stopped his miniature tirade he looked back at his sensei and blushed slightly at his unusually emotional words waiting to see his reaction. In an effort to diffuse some of the awkwardness he gestured for Ayarin to go ahead and say hello to the puppy but not to harm him in any way. Ayarin was slightly miffed that the rest of his meat had been stolen, but he didn't react too badly.

As Ayarin fluttered over to the snow bank, he uttered a quick whistle and stared at the puppy with his raptor eyes. He reached out one talon very slowly for the puppy to greet him in whatever manner these dog things usually greeted someone new.

"So, Because of your weakness another Shinobi died, for you none the less? And you are willingly telling us this story? I would be far too ashamed of such an occurrence to EVER allow it to pass through my lips." Those words rang out through Zetsume's ear like nails on a chalkboard. Anger filled his mind as he wanted to simply kill the genin for trying to talk about his friend like he was nothing. I wonder if I could kill her before they notice. Nahhh Raikage-sama will have my testicles on a silver plate if I did that. Though then the one named Kharis spoke up in defense for Zetsume. He was not quite to sure on how to handle being stuck up for. People were not usually the type to help Zetsume. His clan had a reputation for pride and never accepted help from anyone in anyway. It was the fact that his best friend saved his life at the cost of his own that made him hold so much pride towards his friend. He would always tell his story even if it brought back only painful memories. Though out of the corner of his eye he could see Horui eat the meat that the bird was eating. It was rather funny to see him taunt the bird in the playful manner that he did. That little bit seemed to clam Zetsume enough to speak in the cold tone that he always had when speaking to people he had the urge to kill.

"Thank you Kharis for your nice words, but I can speak for myself. Jishin, if telling his story to all of you was wrong in your eyes then let me be wrong forever. It IS the fact that he gave his life for me that I am able to tell his story. I think if I ignored the fact that he did give his life for me, then his death is all the more in vain. Do I regret not being just a little bit faster, yes. Do I regret him dying for my inadequate abilities at the time, yes. Now if you were to ask me if I regret telling you his story, then the answer would be no. I am sorry we see on different terms, but I can not and will not let him become just some memory I hold in to make myself feel better. It is because of him that I strive each and everyday to become better than who I was yesterday. It is ironic that you tell me to keep his story a secret even when it is written on my face."

Zetsume gave half a smile as he noticed that he was just rambling on and on about things that these people probably do not care to hear. Out of the corner of his eyes something yet again caught his attention. It was Ayarin trying to hold out a talon as to greet Repede. Repede though had no idea what was going on so instead tackled the bird playfully acting as if to wrestle it. Zetsume sighed from the act, it seemed as though the animals could not feel the tension growing in the air. Zetsume cleared his throat and then leaned down to pick Repede off of the bird and tell him not to do that. He leaned back up to address his members of his squad.

"Well, I would like to see each of your battle styles soon. Soon enough though I guess I will get my shot, when we go on a mission of course." Zetsume's voice trailed off as he began to think of what would happen if someone died under his supervision. Could he allow such a thing to happen, NO! He would do anything in his power to help them even if it may costs his own life. Though he hopes deep down that it is not for Jishin, she might never tell his story of how he saved her life. Maybe the fear of being forgotten in this cold world would be far worst than death, so he would hold on to the memories of his friend never letting them leave the confides of his heart and mind.

Her concentration had been broken as Horui stole scraps of meat from the bird, the distraction was only momentary as Kharis spoke on their Sensei's behalf. Sitting in silence glaring over at her Squad mate, he had no place defending the man, he could speak for his damn well self. It seemed in the brief moments she had spent with him Jishin had already begun to garner a certain distaste for Kharis, he didn't seem to have many redeeming characteristics...

As expected Zix replied by prattling on further about how he regretted the fact that his comrade died in the line of duty, and that he wouldn't make an effort as to hide the, supposedly heartfelt, story. "Quite ironic, indeed." She replied pursing her lips, she had made her point and had nothing else to say on the matter.

Looking over at the two other members of the Squad she sighed lightly, getting to know everyone hadn't exactly gone as planned. As per the usual. Quickly she stood vaguely catching what Zetsume said, something about missions, 'Hopefully he doesn't get somebody killed' she thought to herself before turning to the others "Seems I should be going." in all actuality she had nowhere else to be, and simply wished for the exchange to end. Her outside social time for the day was over.

Jishin wasn't amused my Kharis defending Zetsume, and she said, "Quite ironic, indeed. Seems I should be going," before she left, without another word. Her enigmatic and vicious personality tugged at Nagare's heartstrings, and he wanted to know her better, but she was already gone. His expression sank a bit, and he slumped in his seat. Adjusting his glasses carefully, he started a conversation with Horui through thoughts.
Why do I feel this way around her? Horui looked into Naga's eyes for a moment, and together their four congruent spheres shifting within their sockets, analyzed each others emotions. I don't know. Maybe you're in love with her. I don't exactly have a reputation as the perfect guy to understand complex feelings.
Nagare tore his eyes away from Horui's and looked down to the ground. Love? That's stupid. I don't want to be in love. This girl, she's a beast, at best. A primal, heartless beast of a woman.
Well maybe it's not love. We have time to figure it out, we're on a squad with her, so we'll be seeing plenty of her. Nagare was about to think his response, but paused, and finally decided against it. He stood up and tightened the scroll on his hip. "I'm gonna go, sensei. Seeing as we've finished our introductions, I think we can hold off until our next assignment together to converse. I've got to go resupply and train a bit. Goodbye, and I'm sorry about what Jishin said. I, for one, think it's a brave thing to tell something so personal to us, and I'm sorry about the outcome and your friend's death." He waved goodbye to Kharis as well and pet Repede before leaving via the east end of the round, down towards the clamoring markets and crowded streets.
