Clan:Sōseiji
Kekkei Genkai: Eizō Bunshin
Elements: N/A, Members may use any two elements they wish
Specialization: Ninjutsu (Primary or Secondary)
Location: Scattered
Clan History: The Sōseiji clan were originally an army fighting in a civil war, that overcame their enemy using a powerful ninjutsu that allowed for human-like clones created by their founder. Shorly after his death, the army grew into a close knit of family and friends, and over time they grew and began to enhance his technique. Eventually, they became nomads and now live in places across all nations, practicing meditation and Ninjutsu.
Kekkei Genkai Description:
The Eizō is a clone created from half of the chakra and energy of the user, but is unique from other clones because they cannot be dissipated through attacks, and must be killed just like a human. It possesses all of the characteristics and jutsu and personality of the user, but it cannot speak. It can still effectively hear and feel, and is still a physical being, so it is affected by Taijutsu and Kenjutsu normally. The Eizō may communicate telepathically with its host, as they share the same mind.
Members of this clan may utilize the Eizō as a method to train as two people, which makes their training faster and easier. Therefore, members of this clan get 5% off total word count when learning a new element, specialization, or jutsu as well as when training them, so long as they maintain the Eizō throughout the entire training thread, from start to finish. This stacks with other discounts (This + Quick Learner = 15% off total word count for Jutsu, etc.)
Drawbacks:
The members of this clan have a hard time utilizing multiple fighting styles and elements and instead use a limited number of specializations and elements in conjunction with their kekkei genkai. This means that all members of the clan must either take the Hesistant (Element) -or- Hesistant (Specialization) special characteristic. In order to create an Eizō, the user sacrifices half of their max chakra and it becomes the Eizō's source of chakra. If an Eizō is killed, the user's chakra is not returned to normal for the rest of the thread.
For example:
- Chakra Use:
- 1. Nagare is in battle. (Chakra: 150/150)
2. Nagare uses Eizō Animation.
(Chakra of Nagare: 75/75)
(Chakra of the Eizō: 75/75)
3. Eizō is stabbed in the chest, and dies. (Chakra of Nagare remains at a maximum of 75 for the rest of the battle)
The only way to regain chakra dedicated to the clone during that thread is to re-absorb it, which requires one full post of physical contact with it. Once the clone dies, it fades away, and cannot be re-absorbed or created again for the rest of the thread. It will be able to be created again in the user's next thread, however.
Members: Nagare Sōseiji, (Great-great Grandson of the Founder)
Kekkei Genkai Jutsu:
Name: Eizō Animation (Eizō no Kiryoku -- 映像の気力)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Element: None
Range: Self
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: Until Eizō is killed or re-absorbed by the user
Cooldown: 8 posts if re-absorbed, cannot be used for the rest of the thread if killed
Description: A living reflection of the user is created at the cost of half of the user's chakra and energy. The rank of the Eizō matches that of the user, and it is capable of everything the user can do, from using jutsu to throwing projectiles to arm wrestling. It must literally be killed by the opponent; no amount of damage will cause it to dissipate like normal clones, unless it is lethal damage. however, if the user makes physical contact with it, the Eizō can be absorbed back into the body as chakra. It takes one full post to do this, and it returns the user's chakra reserves to original capacity and giving the user the Eizō's remaining chakra supply at the time of reabsorption. Any chakra used on other techniques will still be lost (for example, you or the Eizō used a D-Rank jutsu while Eizō was active, you don't get the 10 chakra back), and the Eizō cannot be reabsorbed once killed, because it fades away.
