Akizuki
D-rank
Symbol:
Clan: Akizuki Clan, "Autumn Moon Clan"Kekkei Genkai: Akizuki Chakra
Elements: None
The bloodline of the Akizuki revolves around their special chakra itself and therefore dwells along the lines of the basic form of the chakra, not any elemental form.
Specialization: Chakra Flow
Because the kekkei genkai of the Akizuki clan revolves around their chakra itself, superb chakra control is a must have. Due to this standard every Akizuki clan member must have chakra flow as one of their specializations or the bloodline cannot be used.
Location: Scattered
I never really liked the idea of limiting clans to certain locations, it limits one's own control of their character and its background. I dislike the idea of telling anyone what their character must be like. Requirements such as having certain elements is logical because otherwise the element cannot be used is reasonable in my eyes. However, something like birthplace just isn't something that should be pre-decided because it doesn't directly affect the clan's ability itself. Konoha ninja, Kumo ninja, it doesn't really matter to me. Where you are born is not what makes you an Akizuki, the Akizuki is a clan, not a nationality. This of course does come with it's drawbacks. Because of them being scattered, the Akizuki clan is not organized and ruled by a leader within the roleplay. They are free to do whatever they want, but gathering them and communicating with other members of the clan is more difficult. It's a small price to pay in my eyes for giving the members more freedom of deciding their residential setting.
Clan History:
"It's a shame how the moon changes phases so quickly; the people you once believed you knew become someone completely different. I know I have my flaws, but I am who I am and that will never change." - Hikaru Akizuki
The Akizuki clan originated within Getsugakure, otherwise known as the village hidden under the moon. They started off as a mere small and weak family but after developing their own special abilities they grew in numbers and strength over time. Soon enough, the Akizuki clan became Getsugakure's most powerful and even largest. Sadly, not every individual is capable of handling such power. Hikaru's farther Kiyoshi, the last leader of the clan and the 6th generation to take over the Akizuki clan was such a man. In the beginning he was caring and did all in his power to steer the autumn moon clan to prosperity. But the power soon got to his head, and slowly but surely his mind was corrupted. The once gentle giant became a fierce ruler who manipulated others in efforts to fulfill his own desires. When gaining knowledge of his plans to take over Getsugakure and then the rest of the lands, his son Hikaru then plotted against him in an all out retaliation. Using his charm Hikaru secretly gathered the rebels within the clan that had enough of Kiyoshi's rule. Within a mere month the rebellion began as Hikaru's forces fought against his farther in an effort to end the tyrant's rein. In the end Hikaru was forced to slay his own farther in order to end rule, earning him the alias as "The Red Renegade" Unlike his farther Hikaru sought to set free the clan and give them a chance at new opportunity. As the new leader of the clan Hikaru scattered them in an attempt to give them true freedom, allowing his people to take to new lands and strive for their own goals. To this day the clan remains in all areas of the map, including Hikaru himself.
Kekkei Genkai Description:
The Akizuki clan's chakra has several unique traits which is what gives the clan it's remarkable abilities. The very first ability, and one that serves no purpose really, is that fact that the chakra radiates with a marvelous glow, giving the energy a luminous look. Secondly, the chakra is able to be freely controlled by the user's will alone. This complete manipulation allows an Akizuki to freely move chakra about in and out of their body and form it into various shapes, their imagination being the limit to it's flexibility. Along with this, an Akizuki is capable of controlling the density of their chakra, giving it physical properties that can be used for defense and offense. In a sense, it is similar to gaara's sand except for the fact that it is solely chakra and is controlled by the user's will.
Drawbacks: The very first drawback is the fact of how the Akizuki chakra stands out so much. However, this is not limited to the fact that it glows. Akizuki chakra also has a very strong frequency level which is able to be picked up by anyone, including those with no skills what so ever in chakra sensory. In other words, a sneak attack is impossible for an Akizuki because the enemy will always be able to feel their presence. Because the chakra is controlled by the user's will, it will not freely move on its own in order to protect the user like gaara's sand does. This makes it slightly less reliable in terms of defense because the reaction time is the same as it's host and also takes concentration to use. If an Akizuki member is trapped within a genjutsu that breaks their concentration on the chakra then the control is broken and the chakra turns back to it's original intangible state before disappearing. The chakra's density of course does not reach states similar to a tailed beast which could not be not even be pierced by Orochimaru's grass long sword. Instead, the hardened chakra is capable of being destroyed by intense heats of advanced or strong fire release and with the force of a chakra infused strike like Sakura's or Tsunade's. Aside from it being able to be destroyed by intense impacts and high heats, the chakra also carries another unique trait that drastically affects it's user and sets them back in the shinobi world. Though the chakra is versatile in terms of how it can be shaped and hardened, it is reluctant to change when it comes to it's form. Simply put, all Akizuki must place the Hesitant ( Element ) trait on their character as a negative characteristic because the chakra is not easily formed into elements. Because of this, it takes extra time to mold it into any element. The chakra, just as the negative trait implies, cannot be formed into more than 3 different elements and one will have to be a jounin before being able to learn the third. However, this is not the end to the chakra's sensitivity. Akizuki chakra is not only sensitive to changing it's own form, but it is also sensitive to other special chakras. In other words, an Akizuki is unable to become a sage or a tailed beast host because their own Akizuki chakra will react violently to them and reject it just as one's body rejects other blood types. Lastly, all elemental techniques used will cost the chakra of one rank up because of the Akizuki's handicapped elemental molding abilities.

Description: This jutsu cloaks the users body in Akizuki chakra. The jutsu has two different forms, armor mode, and aura mode. The armor mode is exactly as it sounds, the dense chakra will form a shell around the user and protect them from damage. This chakra armor is capable of changing appearance, making it possible for the user to appear differently on the surface as they do underneath the armor. In aura mode the chakra acts similar to A's lightning armor and gives the user an enhanced strength and speed trait. Note, it does not enhance their reflexes like A's and the stat increase is not the same. Strength wise it gives the user Tsunade's sheer power in terms of creating craters with a single blow. In terms of speed, it is nearly comparable to the speed of an average shinobi with the first inner gate released. The technique is chakra costly and each post after it is kept up past the 5th will take an extra 10 chakra points.
