1 A Search of Sorts (Finders, D rank mission) Mon Mar 11, 2013 7:22 pm
Etsuo Yukimura
D-rank
Today was another day in the life of Etsuo Yukimura, a genin, that today had a mission to get through. But, this is a bit ridiculous since the mission was to find a lost shoe. He didn't exactly even know what it looked like except for the general description. It didn't have anything special on it so why even bother asking a ninja to find it. He couldn't argue though because he was getting paid after all to find it. Etsuo almost had the idea of going and buying a new shoe, but then he realized the shoe was more than this basic mission. So that idea had to be tossed out the door of his mind.
He should of asked where it last was or seen because he had no clue where to begin searching. So he found himself in the middle of the village walking around. Going on from store to store, asking if they came across the lost show he was sent out for. Eventually he found a lead, he was told that all things like a lost shoe were turned into a single place like a lost and found. This has to be the place that he has been looking for in the search for this odd lost shoe. So, he thanked the shopkeeper for the info and went on his own way to the location.
As he arrived at the supposed location of the shoe and the lost and found. What Etsuo did find was the lost and found, but it was rather large pile of random objects, actually more like a mountain of objects as it stood double his size. He started pulling things out one by one but, luck was not in his favor as the mountain collapsed on him and no level of training from the academy was going to save him. He found himself buried a bit but it wasn't as much as he thought at first. He quickly rose from the pile and looked all around him. He thought something was off and this only confirmed his thoughts as he found no clothes or shoes anywhere in the pile.
After that his eyes came across something that made him doing something called a face palm. As he read a sign that stated the lost and found contain no clothes including shoes. So this was a complete bust in his plan to find the shoe. So, this day was coming to an end as he looked up to the sky and was seeing a sunset. Etsuo had no leads, and barely any time to continue at the moment. This was definitely a complete let down especially for one of his first missions as a genin of the village.
"Such a lost day." He would tell himself as he starred a tad bit longer at the sunset.
"At least I didn't miss this amazing view of the sun." Etsuo added afterwards.
There was nothing better than look at what he enjoyed. Why couldn't that shoe be as easy as the sunset in front of his face. You would have to be blind not to be able to notice it out there in the great big blue sky. But the sky wasn't blue at the moment as the sunset made it a mixture of many instead. Then, he fell over from getting tripped by something. Lucky he landed with catching himself, that wasn't all though. As he looked back to what tripped him, he found a shoe that matched just what he was looking for. He got up, picking the shoe up with him and went running. Etsuo had a mission to complete before the day was over.
