Mission details: Minimum of 600 words, try not to spill things on people or a fight might break out.
On a dark night in the center of Iwagakure, five shinobi stood outside of a small restaurant. Each of them wore a black and white maid's outfit with an apron attached around them. For the bottom attire of the employees, the males and females dressed differently from each other. The three women of the shop wearing white skirts and the two men wearing white pants. As the employees continued to stand there in an upright position, a man in a black formal suit walked down the line of them with a pen and notebook in his hands. "Kosuke?" said the man as he stopped at the end of the line to look down at the small spiky brown haired boy.
"Listen, Don't mess this up. Tonight is the night we have a couple of important people coming. Okay?"
Kosuke nodded at him, and watched as the man trekked towards the Ramen Shop to turn the sign from closed to open. All of the employees bombarded the door into the restaurant, moving towards their assigned stations. Tonight. Kosuke was scheduled to perform the easiest task of the resturant so that he wouldn't ruin anything. It was the task of an waitress. He would have to carry at least five to six plates at a time without dropping them or spilling them anywhere. If he did, the mission would be considered failed.
After the employees finished setting up their position, the pace of people entering the restaurant had sped up. Rich families, single people, couples who thought this would be a good place to have a date, and even a few kids on their own started to sit in the chairs around the circular shape tables and with more people filling up the restaurant- more orders were being placed. "Excuse me. Pardon me." said Kosuke as he pushed his way through the small walking spaces between the tables. In his hands, he held several stacked dirty and used plates with a check envelope on-top. Kosuke started to second-guess about being a waitress. It wasn't as easy as he visualized it.
Balancing the plates on each hand, loud crying of babies, and the sound of the chefs shouting in the back of the restaurant. All of it started to slowly diminish Kosuke's focus, but the only thing that kept him from spilling food was his one tracked mind. Each time several plates were stacked in Kosuke's hand, he would use his one tracked mind ability to focus on balance alone as he moved towards his destination. Sometimes Kosuke disliked the ability, but today it had worked for him. He had already served fifteen tables in a span of twenty minutes. His elapsed time had been better than most of the shinobi legends that were once Genin helping out the restaurant. Hopefully, one day Kosuke would be as strong as one of the shinobi legends.
As time went on, Kosuke continued walking to tables, ordering orders and greeting new people that came in. The job had started to become simple, and more easier since the customers slowly got fewer and fewer. But, the tables started to become more messier with a barrage of Iwagakure's finest drunks eating here. All of the drunks were sloppy and rude. They would rudely shout out words, have food fights, and break empty beer bottles which Kosuke was required to clean up. Even though the place was messy, the manager allowed for them to have some fun until a random fight broke out that caused the manager to kick them out and announce to the enployees that the restaurant was closing. "Yes!" said Kosuke as he removed the food stained apron from his chest. The boy exited the restaurant, and traveled back to his apartment.
