The day for the tournament hadn't been decided yet, but as far as Shibirin knew it: no one outside of Iwagakure had any idea about it. Shibirin had informed a ninja from Kirigakure about the tournament, though that took him about 3 days to accomplish. He couldn't imagine himself personally walking all the way to each of the three other villages to deliver one, simple message. Luckily, Shibirin had a bird, and he had brought that bird with him, when he came to the sight seeing cliff.

He had named the bird Shun. Before he bought it, the bird had been taught a few handy tricks and knew a range of different commands. One of the main 'tricks' Shun knew how to do, was deliver messages over to different villages, faster than a regular ninja could. Normally, Shun needed some information about who to give the message to, but Shibirin hadn't any information from the other villages, but his own previous village: Sunagakure. Shibirin wanted to send the message to the villages that didn't have kages, and he had taken care of Kirigakure, so all that was left was Kumogakure. If Shibirin didn't know who to send the message to in Kumo, the bird would just drop the letter off at the fist person it saw. He didn't know how it worked, but the guy who had sold him the bird said that the bird knew. It couldn't speak, but it understood the words, 'Send message to' and it knew the names of all the villages. The guy had said that to send messages to new places, all he had to say to the bird, was, 'Drop message at the first person you see in' and then the village name. He had also mentioned that the bird could be taught how to go to new places if the owner went there with the bird and asked it to remember this location (instead of this, he says the name of the place) and the bird will remember it next time. It also works with names of people, sites in a villages and even a certain object. It's memory was exceptional.

Shibirin was going to attempt to send Shun on his first mission: to deliver the news of the tournament to the hidden cloud village. He knew very well, that if the guy who sold him the bird was lying, the bird could get lost and never return to him, or the bird might find the place but easily fall for another owner. "Ok Shun, i need you to...wait, i have to talk using the words you were taught with" Shibirin spoke to the bird, as he tried to remember how to tell the bird to deliver a message to a certain place. After a few seconds of thinking, it finally hit him. "Ok. Drop message at the first person you see in Kumogakure" spoke Shibirin, and after he tied the small note onto the bird's leg, the dove took off. It was heading towards the South, hopefully that was the direction in whcih Kumogakure was. When the bird returned, if it returned, he'd send it again, this time to Sunagakure and then Konohagakure.

{Next Day}

The next day, when Shibirin went back to the sight seeing cliif, he need only wait for two hours until he saw his bird Shun, return. He held out his left elbow, for the bird to land on, and it did. Shibirin looked at its leg, but it didn't have any note attached to it. Instead, it was a pepper mint sweet, or at least it looked like one. Shibirin detactched it from the bird and threw it in his mouth. It tasted like a peppermint sweet, maybe it was. The thought of it not being a peppermint sweet left Shibirin's head, as he continued to suck on the sweet, melting it in his mouth.

Iwagakure down, Sunagakure and Konohagakure to go. He didn't know which village to send the bird to first, so he decided to flip a coin to decide. Heads, he sends the bird to Konoha first and tails he sends it to Suna. He took out a small ryo coin and threw it in the air with his free hand, before catching it again with the same hand. He looked at it: it was tails, so that meant that he was going to send the bird to Sunagakure first. He quickly took out a small piece of paper from his pocket, a pen and a small piece of string. On the piece of paper, he wrote, 'Dear Sunagakure, Iwagakure is hosting the first ever Tournament of shinobis. It will begin as soon as all the participents arrive here. If you wish to enter any of your nin in the tournament, make your way over to Iwagakure as soon as possible!

P.S: To send the bird back with your reply, simply attach your note onto the bird's leg and say to it, "Drop message to owner" and the bird will quickly return to me. We can't wait to see you there!'. Once he had finished writing the note, Shibirin tied the note on the bird's leg and said to it, "Drop message at the first Sunagakure nin you see". The bird understood his command, so it took off from his elbow and made its way towards the South-West, to deliver the message to Suagakure.

[Next Day]

The next day, Shibirin returned once more to the sight seeing cliff, to see if his bird Shun had returned with the Kazekage's response. He waited for about an hour or so, something that led him to think that something had gone wrong. Usually Shun, his bird, took less time to arrive with letters. Even if the reciever had taken too long to write a resposne, the bird would try its best to make up for the delay, so what had gone wrong today? About another hour later, Shibirin saw a bird coming towards him. It wasn't white, like Shun was, but it was headed towards him. Had Gin forgot to send Shun back? When the bird landed on the railing on the cliff, Shibirin could clearly see that it wasn't his bird Gin had sent back.

Though the bird wasn't his, it did have a note attached to its leg. Shibirin untied it from the bird, openned it and saw text written in blood. 'Typical Gin,' Shibirin thought to himself, before reading what the bloody writting had to say: 'Dear Idiot Missing nin,
I wanted to send you this letter to inform you of your imminent demise. If you're curious about the frequency of which I'm sending these letters, it is merely to instill as much fear as I can. As if basting a turkey. Which I will then proceed to have sex with.
That's right.
I'm going to fuck the Fear Turkey.
Follow me on twitter @bigtittiedKazekage!
Sincerely,
Gin.

Shibirin couldn't say he was surprised, but he was curious as to who's blood she had written the letter with. After his 'blond moment', Shibirin suddenly realised that the reason Shun hadn't delivered the note was that he had been murdered by Gin. Shibirin was angered, he was even more mad at Gin than before, but also mad at himself, as essentially he had been the one to murder SHun. He had sent his poor buddy at a crazy old lady he should've known would kill the bird if she knew it was Shibirin's. How could he let such a small detail go through his mind and out the other end? Shibirin wanted so dearly to kill Gin, but most of all, he wanted to approach her in person and say to her, "Your tits aren't even that big!!" but he couldn't allow himself to lose his mind over a bird, after all, even if he was granted the chance to approach her, Gin could easily kill him in one move.

Shibirin got over the fact that his bird had died, but this only meant that he needed to get a smarter bird. Luckily, the guy who had sold Shibirin Shun, was around in town, selling more pets to people and also dealing with domestic pests around the village. Shibirin quickly jumped up and over the cliff railings and made his way down the cliff and over to the village. When he had arrived in the streets of Iwa, it didn't take him long until he saw the guy who he was looking for. He was standing in the middle of the Iwagakure streets, next to his large horse carrige that had lots of birds of different type in different cages. He approached the guy with a frown and said, "My bird was killed, give me a bird that was smarter than Shun. One that will flee when instantly provoked and return back to me". The guy looked at Shibirin for a sec, starring blankly at him for more than 5 good seconds. He then snapped out of his short trance and said, "I have just the bird for you, my friend!! He's called Onboo, and he's far smarter than the average messenger bird. He has quick reflexes, but isn't built for combat. It'd be hard to chase down this bird, it's also faster than a dove. No, how much are you willing to pay for it?" Shibirin stared blankly at the man, before saying, "Where is the bird?".

The guy quickly ran to his carrige and brought back a bird with him. It wasn't a dove, like Shun: it was a crow. Shibirin said, "And i become its owner as soon as i pay you?" he asked the man, and after the seller nodded his head, Shibirin took out a small pouch from his back pocket, which had 200 ryo in it and threw it towards the man. The man caught it, but as soon as he did, Shibirin took hold of the bird and started walking off in the other direction. He didn't want to waste any more time, for he needed to send the last message to Konoha.
