1 Meeting the kids [Private/invite] Fri Jan 18, 2013 4:19 pm
Raishi Kanetsu
A-rank
Raishi had been walking through the administration building, when he had noticed that he had been assigned a team...not to be a part of but to be the actual SENSEI of the team. Of course, this had taken him by surprise but he was excited all the same. He was more than anxious to meet his new team that he had copied out their names on a sheet of paper, re-reading them over and over again. He had only their names, not knowing their clans or rank and what not...he had been too excited to fully take in all those details, a big mistake on his part.
Torune....Shibirin....Nausica....What better place than to meet them in my favorite location in the whole village?
And now here he was, over at Waterfall Point, waiting for his new students to come over. At first, he had been in front of the lake, meditating, but he was too too anxious to sit down for 10 seconds. The impatience was drilling into his brain. So he decided, to go up to his favorite relaxation point; in between the rocks of the highest waterfall.
As he climbed up, the names of the kids still playing through his head, like an annoying tune, he thought about him as a Sensei...trying to view himself as the great Sensei Kakashi from the time of Naruto Uzumaki, the Frog Sage. Kakashi had been his favorite person throughout history, always studying about him in the Iwagakure Library when he was younger...
Raishi wiped off a bead of sweat from his head, coming back from reality, and resting on the rock , hidden from anyone that may be down below. In actuality, he was quite nervous, behind the excitement.
What if they don't like me? What if I won't be a good Sensei, inable to train and protect them?
Negative thoughts started rushing through his mind, as strong as the waterfalls. This always happened to him. At the climax of his anxiety, he would start doubting himself. Although sometimes, his doubts seemed to prove correct. Pushing those thoughts aside, he waited for the kids to arrive. It was highly unlikely that anyone else would come to Waterfall Point at this time because he hardly saw anyone, so he assumed that whoever came was his student.
The waiting finally began, and every muscle in him tensed, waiting for the sight of anything at all.
