Fuyuko

Rough and pale. That's how Fuyuko would describe her first impression of the land of earth. Those words could probably also be used to describe the land of wind, but more applicable words would probably be hot and coarse in that case, perhaps even bleak instead of coarse. It mattered little, there was very little the country could do about it's appearance. Mother nature is after all a cruel mistress and doesn't care for what happens to its inhabitants, they have to fend for themselves.
From an outsiders perspective you could question why Fuyuko was venturing towards the land of earth. After all Fuyuko had next to no connections to the land of earth. Now that she thought about it herself, she didn't know anyone that originated from the village either. She had met a decent amount of people, from all of the major villages except from this one. At least, hopefully, that would change soon and her adventure to these lands would pay off as well.
There was a very simple reason for why she was here, however, the answers she sought for that reason were anything but that. Fuyuko was on a quest of discovery, not about self discovery, but one where she learn about the world. For as long as she has been a shinobi she's been consistently surprised by how the gears seemed to be turning the machine. Where her world used to look colorful and peaceful, having been a shinobi has taught her almost exclusively the opposite. Every encounter with criminals or other shinobi bar a few were grim and unpleasant. Forced to do things that were not fun or just out right appalling. However, due to her position there was no way for her to refuse the tasks that were granted upon her. She had to soldier through them and see them through to the end, no matter her opinion on the matter.
So now she found herself on a quest to find out how the gears moved. What were the things that motivated the villages to do or not do something. Essentially, what was it that made the clock tick. What better place to do such a thing then talk with people that stood on top of the world. The people that could move mountains if they wanted to, the leaders of each village, the Kage. They orchestrated it all, although, even that wasn't entirely true. The Kage were technically merely the head of the military department of a country. So for the best answers she would've needed to ask the Daimyo the questions that are manifesting in her mind, but the Daimyo couldn't be reached so easily, or even better said, impossible by someone who was merely someone in the army. The Kage however were reachable, by anyone that was in the army, depending on rank it was easier or harder, but it was always possible. So for the time being it would be the one she would have to take.
Which leads us to this point in time, where Fuyuko awaited the arrival of the Tsuchikage. It was the first of three Kage's with whom she wanted to talk of which she hadn't really established a relationship with. The other two being the Kazekage and Raikage. Not only had she not established a relationship with anyone from the country, she knew nothing about the country, the first conversation she would hold about this topic would be without prejudice, as open minded as she could possibly be.
In order to gain the attention of the Tsuchikage she had send a fox with a letter tied around its back and send it towards the building, it would de-summon itself when the scroll would be removed from its back. The scroll contained a simple request from herself and read 'I request an audience with the Tsuchikage. The meeting location is on top of the cliff side of the mountain that's about a kilometer west of the village.' she didn't sign it with her name, but instead signed it as a ANBU member of Konohagakure. With the letter sent all she could do now was wait. Seated on the edge with one leg dangling over the edge, the other pulled in with her chin leaning on her knee, in her anbu gear with her mask covering her face. It was now waiting time, time to find out if the Kage would accept her audience.
