A yawn escaped Sanosuke's mouth as began walking up the Kumogakure main mountain trail. The mountain trail Sanosuke was traveling on was used by many travelers to get to many sites of Kumogakure. As long as Sanosuke walked along the mountain trail he was on, he would get exactly where he needed to. The sun had just rose high in the sky meaning it was just the afternoon, approximately twelve in the afternoon. When Sanosuke had gotten up to get started on his training, it was just barely dawn. It was so early in the morning that Sanosuke had gotten himself ready for training. For once Sanosuke had awakened before the damned rooster had made its cursed screech. There was times where Sanosuke honestly believe that the rooster was purely making that noise just to drive Sanosuke insane with anger and annoyance. But whatever, he had beat the damn domestic animal that was trying to make him miserable by waking up before the rooster himself.

That was a perk of being a kenjutsu specialist of Kumogakure. Normally, a shinobi wouldn't bother to wake up so damn early just to practice his techniques. A genjutsu or a ninjutsu user would probably get up on their own schedule to sleep in and the practice. A kenjutsu user would get up much earlier, at times at night, so he would train hard all day. While learning kenjutsu under his foster father's tutelage in the arts, he would spend days straight of nonstop training with his father in the arts of the sword. That's what a kenjutsu user does, they train no matter what until they reached perfection. And that's what he did. It was because his drive that Sanosuke was able to learn two new kenjutsu techniques. One was his first kenjutsu technique that allowed him to use it for primarily defensive purposes. Before he learned Moon Slice, and from how he read the description about the technique in the Great History of Kumogakure the technique could be used as a defensive technique. Moon Slice would be able to slash rapidly at his foes quickly in an offensive manner, but the move can also be used to retaliate against an opponent's slash. Using the technique, Sanosuke would be able to use Moon Slice to counter an opponent's attacks that is struck at Sanosuke.

But one of his new techniques that he created would be able to be used primarily for defensive purposes and rarely for offensive purposes. It was called Burst Shield and he made it by utilizing the explosive and unstable manner of his newly unlocked chakra system that was created because of Pathik. In retrospect Sanosuke would have to thank the guru after he got more accustomed to this new chakra system, because now with this new chakra system he was able to uncover a whole new level of kenjutsu techniques. And he was also able to uncover the full potential of using cutting powers of chakra flow into his sword. The technique was insanely powerful, by channeling the powers of his new explosive chakra system into a more focused point. The shape of a sword seemed to be able to be hard to format if he hadn't been able to learn sensui from his foster father. Sanosuke supposed that it was what his foster father wanted, to take what he had installed into him and expand on it. Sanosuke remembered that his foster father wanted to be able to strengthen a sword's slashing ability but didn't have the aptitude for the technique. There was a saying that a son should try to adopt the goals of his father, and although Sanosuke wasn't related to his foster father biologically, Sanosuke saw his foster father as his biological father. His biological father would have hated him if he had lived to see what Sanosuke had made of his life.

His thoughts clouded Sanosuke's mind as he found himself in front of the Tower of Heaven. The tower was so large and big that he had to bend his back in reverse to see the whole of tower. Sanosuke covered up his eyesight so the sun rays wouldn't invade his vision. "Whoa, it's been a while since we've seen each other huh old friend " Sanosuke talked to himself though he was project his voice mostly at the tower of heaven itself. The last time he had been here was when he was a genin fresh from the Kumogakure ninja academy with his head full of dreams and had just acquired his sword. And he got this sword by cleaning the library more times than any shinobi form Kumo has been able to in history. He had come here for a mission where he was to be able to kill 10 large beetles that were found in the Tower of Heaven. These beetles were pretty big and would try to attack Sanosuke at once. He distinctly remembered a strange voice that would enter his head an instruct him to use the kunai to fight against the beetles. Sanosuke ignored the mental voice's commands and kept on hacking away at the beetles with his sword.

Now he was back again, but this time he was here for strictly training purposes. From what he did in the Akako Dojo, he was able to use his explosive chakra in a very creative way with his sword. And after he created those two chakra base techniques that incorporated his new explosive and powerful chakra system, he began to be thinking; if his sword could be used as a medium for these chakra based attacks, then why not his entire body? In the history books, the Yondaime Raikage use chakra flow to be able to channel his chakra into his body so that his attacks would not only be chakra charged but also his making him as fast as lightning. So maybe he can create a technique that can use the explosive chakra system he has acquired from the guru to give himself a temporary boost of speed. Everything he needed to get his jutsu preparations is available to him now; not quite. Sanosuke drew out his sword and focused chakra into his sword. With a roar, he slashed his sword at the ground. His sword was being coated with chakra so it temporarily wouldn't be able to cut the ground he slashed at The slash made a grand echo throughout the un built ruins of the Tower of Heaven.

For minutes nothing had occurred that Sanosuke could noticed immediately, but then there was a patter of feet coming at Sanosuke at an alarming rate form deep within the un built, dark parts of the tower of heaven. Finally 5 large beetles popped out from the parts and tried to stampede over Sanosuke. Sanosuke yelled out and tried to focus his chakra around his body like a chakra coat. He did this before with Skye while trying to be able to master his elemental chakra control of wind release. The exercise was sort of hard to do with his chakra in contact with and maintain his elemental property during the coating. But now all he had to do was just focus his coating for the chakra coating all over his body so that it would more effectively represent the outline of his body as best as possible. Once he was done all he had to do was wait for the chakra burst to occur.

Sanosuke waited and waited until it happened, but the beetles came up on him too early and tried to tackle him. Sanosuke cursed under his breath and jumped backwards to avoid getting hit while maintaining his chakra coating. He made sure that he didn't swing at the beetles or the chakra coating he had maintained would be undone and he would have to start all over again. And that wasn't something he wanted at all. He skidded against the floor as he skidded backwards away from the beetles that wanted him dead. As he skidded back, he felt a flux of chakra swell around his chakra coat and made him go flying towards the beetles at alarming speeds. "What the fuckk?!!!" Sanosuke shouted outwards as he sent 3 beetles bowling out of the way from his trek. The beetles jittered slightly with life before falling on the ground lifeless from the impact.

What the hell was going on? Before Sanosuke couldn't get the explosion to happen, but the second he did it happened. He had to test something out, Sanosuke made thrust his left hand that wasn't holding his sword backwards and immediately his chakra coat exploded and sent him flying towards the beetles. Taking a horizontal slash towards one beetle, Sanosuke cleaved it right down the middle so its side was lopped off. He was sent skidding forward after the thrust he made with the chakra. So that's how it was done, he had to cause the disturbance himself before the explosion in his chakra took place. Sanosuke took a stomp and the chakra coat that surrounded him sent him flying to the last beetle. Sanosuke made a slash to decapitate the beetle. It's guts spewed on the floor. Sanosuke was panting from his efforts, he did it. He had mastered yet another technique.

Proudly, Sanosuke sheathe his sword back into his sheathe and began to walk away from the tower of heaven with his face caked with sweat. "Good seeing you too beetles. Let's do this again sometime"
