Konoha had proven to be a treasure trove on medical information. No wonder her mistress had grown to be so great at it, evolving beyond the petty confines of mortal minds. She had achieved far more than most medics would ever be capable of, rivalled only by one other. A man the Snake Sage had considered a worthy mentor for Lais. Where Lamya focused on the aspects of growth and mutations, abilities that came natural to the Jugo, Daremo was pretty much her opposite. He coveted the powers of necrosis to undo life at the same rate as Lamya could build it. A man dreaded even in the Otherworld, so her visions had revealed, but limited in his knowledge about that potential, so his words had declared. How funny, that the Jugo in her turn contained lore on matters neither her mistress nor her mentor could speak about - ritualism, spiritism, demonism. The Otherworld was her playground. Much like life was to Lamya and death was to Daremo.
But she had learned. Lamya's soul slept within her spear Einherjar, bound to Lais until she'd find a means to revive her mistress. Uraeus, her pet snake, followed her if only to antagonise every of her actions as being inferior to that of the Snake Sage. Perhaps out of sheer spite for what she had done. Perhaps because it believed that its venomous words were the right way to teach the Jugo brat. Perhaps simply because it had nothing better to do than that, now that Lamya was no longer around. Lais held information on Konoha's medical dossiers, their patients, their deceased and the health of their shinobi; the Valkyrie not stopped by petty walls and unnoticed behind the ANBU mask and Konoha headband she had inherited. But while many considered such medical information interesting and valuable, Lais considered it worthless - none of it contained even one step closer towards the immortality Lamya had aimed to achieve.
Lais would do better. If not to prove the Snake Sage she had been a good decision, then simply because the idea of vanishing from the world was a frightening notion. The Crow Sage already had plans to unleash Yomi upon the world of the living by tearing the fabric between the two worlds. What then was embracing Yomi to the point she'd become an anomaly of Life and Death itself? It was only a matter of time and discovery before she'd transcend mortality itself. She would achieve what others had failed to reach. The black bird, messenger of death, holding secrets of unlife itself.
And like a frigid brush of Death itself, the shadow of the black bird glided over the Lands...

[Jugo KKG]
Through the combination of her Jugo blood and the knowledge of animal anatomy, Lais takes on the form of a large black bird roughly equal in size to her human form (5.2 ft). While this form allows her to travel around easily, the technique can't be combined with the intense focus required during any form of combat - in other words, this technique, much like the Body Flicker Technique, can not be used in combat, serving only as a (fluff) means of travel/escape.
This jutsu accumulates 1 Rage point upon activation.
