Makoto was still laying on the bench as his wolf ashe looked at him he gave her a glare. She huddled her head low and dropped her ears low. She knew she failed him and he knew she was weak, he knew she was not ready, but he knew it meant nothing anymore. What was done was done and the time had to move on as he had no choice but to leave her behind. He did not have time to deal with her weakness and things were more serious now as he looked towards her and said.
"Go rest and while I am out there you better not skip your training"
As he said that Ashe nodded her head in reply with a soft whimpering whine and a bark of acknowledgement. She remembered that look in his eyes when he was prepared to kick her for her disgrace, but passed up on it and told her just to rest. It was clear the feelings he felt back then were pure disappointment as he prepared to go through with this battle differently.
After contemplating at that which transpired he stopped his brooding and began to get dressed, wearing some ordinary black shorts once more with some regular pockets and a white string to tie since it felt loose to fit as he wondered if he could not get something more to his size after the exams.
Makoto then began to put on the first sock and the second sock and then a third and forth sock so that he had two pairs of two socks on each foot as he then put on his running shoes and realized they fit a bit better with two socks on instead of the looseness they usually had. He then proceeded to tie the shoe laces carefully as he began to wonder how things would go this time.
He then put on his Light Fibre Vest first as he slotted in his left arm and then his head and struggled to put in his right arm as he realized changing the order in which he got dressed would not help too much. Makoto then followed up by putting on his reinforced cotton fiber t-shirt which hid his light fibre vest and he would then put his shield on his arm and his tanto would be hidden inside the shield. He then put some metsubishi in the shield, one in his hair, one in his kaginawa launcher, another two in each of his shorts pockets, one inside his forehead protector and then the last two were placed on the edge of his yari spear carefully, they might be noticeable, but that was what he wanted them to do.
Makoto hid his makibishi's in his cloak as he put it on over hiding all his gear on his upper body as he held his arms close to hide everything but his forehead protector around his neck and his spear on his back. Unlike last time he had his lenses ready from the start with his renzugan and all its lenzes equipped this time he had his one eye showing green and his left eye appeared golden in color as he made use of this just to make the opponent maybe get confused.
He finally attached the grappling hook launcher to his right arm as usual as wondered if he would have a chance to use his new technique. Out of frustration he also put his blanket over his shoulder and then looked back at Ashe once more.
"Stop being down, get to training right now. When we get back to the village, you going to be training a lot harder so be prepared"
As Makoto walked away as Ashe slowly proceeded to prepare for her training realizing she was a failure she heard the last words mumbled by her master. "Be careful"
Makoto had his shuriken and kunai in similar locations to his previous fight and now it was time to get ready as the light from the arena was unmistakable. Makoto also had his crystal catalysts in various locations for use in battle if he needed them, however there was one more thing he needed to do, and that was to make this battle a lot more decisive as he felt the interference was unnecessary last time as he still had that glare in his eyes at the decision for the battle, while his opponent looked more confused then he did or maybe it was the pain talking, but he felt he was not done and that did not sit well with him
For this fight Makoto would not sit around and just wait for his opponent, he would prepare everything in advance this time. There was something that he needed to perfect, before he could create the ultimate offense he would need the ultimate defense as he finally got into position twenty meters in the proctor gave the signal and he chose to take action straight away. He performed the clone technique and wasted no time, they each formed hand seals as the mist creation technique was used by him and one was used by his clone as he then created a normal hidden mist as his opponent seemed to be preparing some kind of technique on the way towards them. Makoto would follow up on that with his hidden mist water reflection sight in order to see things with use of the water in the mist.
He decided to activate them all this time, having not been able to use them in the previous battle was annoying to say the least. He fired his kaginawa with his blanket behind him with the chakra imbued in it, it was also a decoy for his opponent to chase after as a trap. The clone performed the defensive jutsu first with the mist form technique and then mist wall technique as he stood right next to Makoto who then proceeded to perform the mist form technique while being within a meter radius of his clone partner. This was only the beginning as he had to test if his defenses could deal with an overwhelming assault as he also activated the armor of mist as well, all the techniques he used would blend in with the mist itself and as a whole all the jutsu performed now would appear as one jutsu to the untrained eye or without the use of a sensory technique that could tell mist blending in mist apart from other mists.
He would let his opponent challenge his mist and would then proceed to form hand seals the moment his target struck in order to prepare the water pond creation technique followed by the water tentacle technique if his opponent was still in range would form the tentacles behind his opponent to trap him however this was only if his opponent did not attempt to run away immediately as the tentacles needed some bit of time as he had other plans for this fight in general. The water tentacles could move close to ten meters per second and had a range of up to twenty meters that they could effectively reach, but in general this was only if his opponent was willing to stay within the mist after making an adventure.
In response with there being so many clones it was not something that would matter as they seemed to just dissipate on impact with the mist, which meant this was the academy technique and the fact that his opponent was already gone was something that gave away that his target was using some method of stealth technique, in a dire situation he would teleport away, but for now he would see if his opponent could get passed his four defense tactic. However his true ultimate defense was the mist wall which was not as much a wall as a support for his other hidden mist techniques as the hidden mist itself was protected from his opponent as well

Description: The Water Clone Jutsu is similar to the Shadow Clone Jutsu except it creates clones out of water that have one-tenth of the original user's chakra - taken after the initial activation cost of this technique has been deducted. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water. Water clones are capable of only using suiton jutsu provided they have enough chakra to cast it. Regular jutsu cooldowns apply - if a technique is used by one clone, it cannot immediately be used by another clone. A maximum of six clones may be created at any one time. The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause the equivalence of a C rank technique in physical damage [major bruising, 1-2 inch cuts, etc.] or a C-rank/2 D-Rank offensive jutsu. The user may willingly disperse a clone - returning any chakra the clone has left to the user - but this can only be done under the condition that the clone is not under direct attack. Clones which have been dispersed by other means - ie. taking damage - do not return any chakra to the user. Elemental clones created will have a 'clone' of the user's weapon(s) up to C-Rank in strength.

Description: The user forms the Dog Yang Snake hand seals and then the mist around them gathers and clings to their skin in a semi-solid state like water. This is a unique variation on the hidden mist jutsu that utilizes mist for direct defense blocking all physical attacks (basic strikes not physical jutsu strikes) of B-rank and lower from getting through. This jutsu can block up to one jutsu of a rank higher, two jutsu of equal rank and up to three jutsu of a rank lower. Anyone with the Perception stat C rank will be able to see blurry movement within five meters of themselves - anyone with Perception stat B rank or higher will be generally be able to see movement around them within the mist, with only minor details obscured. The user is also incapable of seeing through the mist unless they themselves have an ability / technique that would enable them to do so.

This jutsu can also be used to make light mists for use by other hidden mist variations and is a variation of the hidden mist technique. The light mist nature refers to it not hindering the normal vision of enemies, however this technique still counts as a hidden mist technique variation.
The effect of the technique requires the user to be within the radius of this technique to use its effects and this mist is made in its current location and can not move unless there is a technique which states it can do this.

This is a variation of the hidden mist jutsu that intensifies the density of the mist slightly in order for it to form a misty barrier around the user that is able to block one jutsu of C-rank, two jutsu of D-rank or three jutsu of E-rank. When using this jutsu in collaboration with any hidden mist variant, the barrier itself becomes invisible as it shares the appearance of the hidden mist technique.
It loses its invisibility when outside of a hidden mist jutsu or variations of the jutsu other then itself. This jutsu can not be invisible if used on its own.

Description: The user performs the ox>snake>ram hand seals and then takes the dab stance and releases a thick mist from his body or uses an exiting water source around him to create the mist. However the user may use a pre-existing mist as the base for this technique resulting it gaining the range of that technique and sharing its duration as well.
This is a variation on the hidden mist technique with similar hand seals with the only difference being the stance performed at the end. This jutsu is not visible when used within another hidden mist variation and when used on its own it does not block visibility much as it is mainly a defensive wall of mist and chakra.
The wall's strength can over come two techniques of equal rank, three of a rank lower and one of a rank higher. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained while defending, one can easily perform another technique without losing sight of the enemy, which is a great advantage.
This was originally meant to be used as a basic defensive technique, but later was found to merge well with variations of the hidden mist technique itself. This jutsu's duration can never be more then six posts, even if the mist used in its activation has a longer duration.

Description: After forming the dog hand seal four water tentacles sprout out from a water source or from the users mouth if no water source is available and proceeds to cling to anything that is not the user or one of their jutsu capturing random parts of the enemies body. The tentacles once they make contact stick to the enemy and proceed to coil around the relative limb and upon capture the other tentacles converge as well. The opponent requires at least C-rank strength in order to break free, but will suffer a one tier drop in speed and someone with C3-rank strength can just walk them away with brute force. The tentacles keep the captured target from moving more then 2 meters away from the captured location and the tentacles coil around the target.
Also makes the target wet.
The ten meter long tentacles can be formed up to ten meters away from the user and have a speed of ten meters per second.

Description: The Substitution Technique is an age-old skill which enables the user to evade the effects of an attack by switching with an item in the area. (The item---or substantial clone---used for a Substitute must be as large as the user's torso, and must be prepared at least 1 post in advance by infusing it with 5 chakra.) Activating this jutsu for another 5 chakra, the ninja moves at untraceable speed for just a moment, and the item does so as well to take the user's place; the ninja leaves behind a flickering after-image for a second, which, if damaged, releases the chakra which holds it in place in a small smoke cloud, revealing the nature of the technique and the item they have switched with. Higher-rank ninjas' afterimages are able to show some of the signs of natural impact as if it were an actual human, if only for a very short period, before 'poofing'. The user coming out of the technique creates a similar audio and visual cue with a small cloud of translucent smoke and a 'poofing' sound on appearance in the location of the item they Substituted with. This technique causes the user to move at speeds untraceable to human perception, and therefore even the user cannot coordinate attacks during the Kawarimi, or activate any other jutsu. They, however, can maneuver near someone and then attack them after the fast-movement is finished.
