Aikiko

Aikiko

D-rank
Aikiko was confused at first when the orders to join the chunin exams came through. It seemed Hastur was so pleased with them that he wished to show his supremacy abroad as well. It was a great opportunity to gauge her contemporaries and learn their weakness as well as their strength. Her training would never be complete and she hoped to pick up some things with her Sharingan while she was in Konoha. Aikiko found herself again practicing her draw strikes using her blade practicing the same strike a thousand times yielded better results than training one thousand things once. Aikiko's strength was building as she trained, her ambition having increased tenfold upon her arrival in the cloud village. Aikiko would strike at the same tree until she cut it down using her razor sharp blade's constant cuts in the same spot. When she finished the destruction of the tree trunk she'd fall to her knees exhausted. Panting the young woman would look at her handiwork and shake her head. “Still takes me far too long without a jutsu. I am too weak.” The young Uchiha held herself to high a standard, even higher than what she held her peers. She narrowed her eyes at the next tree and went to attack it before collapsing to her knees again. She was far too exhausted to continue this training it seemed. Yet another reminder of her weakness Aikiko cried out in frustration before making a hand seal and sending out a flurry of blows the waves of wind emanating from her blade tore the tree trunk to shreds nothing but splinters and sawdust remained of her target once her rage was satisfied. The final burst of energy having left her system Aikiko stumbled her way towards the library. If nothing more could be done she could at least find out if there was any hints or whispering in the Cloud Village's texts of the acts or powers of her family.

While she walked she realized there was something else weighing on her mind. Why did I save him? I've never felt the need to help someone why now? Aikiko was new to the concept of friendship. Caring for another's well being was a concept foreign to her, it confused her almost scared her that she'd reached out to do something for another person. Perhaps he'd be a sufficient training partner for her, she'd never reliably had someone to train with in the past or even to talk to. Although the talking was often one sided, the companionship was welcome to the snooty girl. Aikiko knew why she did it but didn't really want to accept that she had done an action that was purely selfless in its nature. She had everything to lose and very little to gain in saving him. It's weakness is what it is. The Uchiha gritted her teeth and picked up the pace slightly every step was a labor but she just wanted to get to where she was going to have something to focus on. Aikiko had been doing extra training since the incident the activity was a good way for her to focus her rage at her weakness. What better way to destroy weakness than vigorous training? She hadn't seen Tasatsuke in a while either after the incident, she was frankly too embarassed to face him thinking he'd see her as weak for the display.

Be it some sort of cosmic punishment or a simple punishment
wAikiko saw a familiar figure ahead. It was the subject of her regret and recent thoughts, Tasatsuke. Her first urge was turn around and head back the way she came but such an act would only further her descent into weakness; no, she'd face this challenge head on. The Uchiha heiress quickened her pace slightly to meet the challenge sooner, lowering her chances of changing her mind. Upon reaching him, she tapped his shoulder and offered a cold one word greeting before clearing her throat and continuing, “I was headed to the library, would you like to come?” A startled village boy turned to look at Aikiko, it was not Tasatsuke after all.
