Verdandi got up from her comfy royal bed, slurped on some royal coffu, brushed her hair with a royal brush and... well you get the gist of it. She was back home in Yuki for a while now. The spoils of war were great for her Clan. She had obtained so many artefacts she had no idea what to do with them anymore. The Sharingan had already been planted into her face. The legendary items were still being sorted and she had already consumed the scroll that contained the basic applications of thee Rasengan. Last but not least. The Dragon Scroll was about to get molested. Verd had brought it to her own study room up from Urd's library. Her nerdy sister didn't really find anything off about it. Supposedly it was the real deal. She however mentioned that the last contract person to use it had been wiped from the blood contract. Deacon had helped Urd analyse the last blood stains with medical and sensory techniques. Figuring that thee former owner of the scroll had signed this contract many hundreds of years ago and ever since no one had touched it. Verd was aware of thee supposed existence of Dragons. She had met a couple of people that came pretty close to be dragons themselves. But she had never seen the real deal. Pretty sure that the lot of them were insanely rare and didn't really belong to this plane of existence. Verd wondered whom might have been the first one to ever visit their home land far away from the shinobi continents. She gazed down at the scroll. Trying to get a feeling of how the whole blood seal worked.
Verd went through Urd's notes and the books she had found that explained the basic usage of summoning. Specifically, a 'Kuchiyose for dummies' was laying around somewhere. Having never before done anything like that. Verd would accept it as a challenge. Not long after she figured the basic idea, she would prepare the process in her mind. First, she'd have to infuse her chakra into the scroll to awaken it. Verdandi would quickly do so. To her surprise the crossed-out name of the previous owner including his partly wiped away blood mark, completely disappeared from the scroll as she did so. Apparently, the dragons had severed their promise to that last contract holder. Making the list of people allowed to call on them turn back down to zero. Verd gulped. Those creatures were probably going to eat her alive. For long moments she would hesitate. Placing the scroll away. Then eventually she couldn't help but be curious about it. Moving to step two, Verd knew she was close to summoning the evil creature in question. So, she grabbed the scroll, leaving her notes and books behind and moved outside. First into the courtyard, but then figured, she had no idea how big a dragon would be. Verd sighed. She didn't want to summon him into the ice-cold winter of Yuki either. What if they were sensitive?
Verd moved on to the huge garden that the Senjew created for her. Mokuzai's flowers and trees were still blooming. But the huge grassy area would give plenty of space even for a nasty large monster to appear. Verd placed the scroll to the floor. Biting her sharp tooth into her finger. Blood spilling slowly forth. Pressuring the finger as she wrote her name onto the scroll. "Why do I have such a fricking long name… that’s a lot of blood…" she complained to herself. The kanji for her name were complex and large. But eventually she had it all together. Happy that her family name wasn't huge either. At last she had to dip her five fingers in blood and then place the bloody fingerprints onto the scroll. The scroll itself would glow faintly and temporarily accept the contract. However, Verd seemed to have forgotten something. Glaring through the notes she had noticed the 'Moon Clan' thingy on the front. She had no idea what a moon clan is but it did sound quite fancy. What Verd should have done now. Since the previous user had been banished from the scroll, was to teleport herself to the dragon's home world. Where she would eventually negotiate the terms of a new contract and become the new official contract holder and owner. But Verdandi didn't knew that and what she had read from her books was about far more basic summoning scrolls. So instead of trying to port herself to Dragon Land. She'd form the Kuchiyose technique that she hadn't even mastered yet. Placing her palm on the ground. Verd shivered. She was ready to summon the moon dragon! But without real contract active... what would happen?
