1 A new home[Iwagakure to Kirigakure] Mon Aug 13, 2018 3:21 pm
Chikamatsu Arashi
D-rank
Arashi was holding a bag of her personal items as she stood just outside the apartment that was to be her home in Iwagakure, but after becoming a proper shinobi of the village the nasty war with the remnants of her homeland Sungakure started and she was forced to undergo rigorous questioning out of fear that she may be a spy working for the enemy forces out on the front lines. Arashi had no idea that anyone actually survived so the questioning was that more torturous as she had no information to give and as the war went on with Iwagakure losing quite a bit of their forces the distrust and indifference towards her grow, even now with the war being over the moment people lock glances with her she could practically feel the anger and resentment towards her being born of Sungakure, with that in mind nobody wanted her in their squad nor could they trust her, she had to leave.
As she begun making her descent down the flight of stairs she would feel a mixture of emotions, on one end she was glad that quite a bit of Sungakure citizens survived, another with anger for starting a war, and again with her understanding all the pain and anger they felt towards the village being destroyed. She knew it wasn't right to cause all that death but she couldn't dispute the agitation she felt as her home was destroyed and now the four nations all view them as some type of enemy now even after the war is over.
But still, all this didn't matter now as Arashi once again had to leave a place she wanted to make a home after losing the first one, except this time her home wasn't destroyed but rather the trust of her origins. As Arashi had all her possessions on her back while her puppet Kakumei secured within a scroll that was in her pouch hanging on her waist Arashi pulled out a giant map that detailed the layout of the Land of Earth, although the war was over there was still plenty of trouble out on the open roads and with Arashi having little to no training as a shinobi she needed to make sure the route she picked would be the safest she could possibly travel. Eventually, after overlooking the map, she located a route that was often used by the high-ranking Iwagakure shinobi forces as a connective road to almost anywhere, although it still held its own dangers unless someone was a fool or crazed they would most likely not strike they're seeking to gain a quick profit.
With safety in mind Arashi began to make her travel to the border of the Land of Earth, she was moving northwest to a possibly even more dangerous area for her then Iwagakure in hopes the rumors were not as true as she heard, Kirigakure, the most active in the war against the remnants of her home. However Arashi wasn't stupid, once she arrived she landed in the Land of Water she will never tell anyone of her true origins and thanks to her skin being pale unlike most of the people from her home she could play off as someone who just took a random interest in the arts of puppets and dreamed of becoming a shinobi.
As she begun to make her way out of the village after what seemed like an endless amount of stares and grins from the people who watched her leaving and were gleeful of it she eventually made it to the village gates, waiting for her to her displeasure was a group of boys that had smiling faces, Arashi wanting no trouble simply tried to ignore them but as she passed by one of them held out a foot and she tripped over it causing her to fall to the ground and scattering her things everywhere, still wishing for no trouble Arashi simply begun to regather them into her bag but when she noticed her pouch was open she heard one of the boys say, "Whats this cool looking scroll you got here traitor?!"
Arashi realizing that the only scroll she had was where her puppet Kakumei was sealed she flung her head back and cried out, "Give it back!" The boy who held it in his hand simply throw it in the air and caught it like some type of ball he was playing with, "You brought this from one of our shops right? I think for revenge of all our soldiers I'm keeping this as a prize and a testament that I will never let the enemy have anything nor help them. Now get out of our village you filthy sand female."
The boys that were with him simply laughed at his joke as they begun to turn around, Arashi, however, was enraged, she didn't care much for the scroll but rather what was inside of it, Kakumei wasn't just some puppet she made it was the very first gift that her mother and father made for her specifically designed to help her in her struggles in life and the fact someone was trying to take that away from her brought her over the edge. Arashi immediately made the ox-seal as mud spurted out from her mouth and the boys who had their backs turn didn't see it and as they took a step they all fell into the mud, Arashi taking the opportunity ran over to them and snatched the scroll out of their hand and then grabbed her bag as she turned back and simply kept running escaping from not just them but from Iwagakure all together.
