Maikumaru woke up in his bed, feeling wondrous. His body felt good, and strong. His mind felt clear. He had a good rest for the first time in what seemed like eons. He happily threw the sheets off his his body, noticing a cockroach flying off and hitting the wall, bouncing off it. Of course the motel he lived in was in very poor condition, and Maikumaru was almost certain that it wasn’t up to health standards. But it didn’t matter much to Maikumaru. Today was a good day. Today he was going home to Iwagakure, his home. It had been nearly half a year since he had left, and became far more powerful then he had when he was there, sitting on his ass, doing meager missions. It took him four years to get to this point. Now he was going to have some fun. He had gotten plenty of people to join his cause in the backdoor infiltration. After he spent time in Iwa, he was going into the belly of the beast: Kumogakure.

But alas, it wasn’t time for that. It was time to head home. To sit back and relax, and do some light training. He went to the sink to wash his face, and the fridge to get some canned precooked meat, and some canned fruit. The large young man opened the door to a bright world. He had to pay the owner of the crappy motel his money before leaving. He walked to the booth where the owner was and reached in his pocket, obtaining the ryo to pay for everything. “Your motel is crap.”
“I know.”
“Why don’t you clean it?”
“You get what you paid for. Now get lost.” Maikumaru scoffed at the man, leaving him be. The Champion of Iwa jumped towards the branches. The motel was surrounded by woodlands, and the Iwa Ninja knew exactly what the direction was to head towards Iwagakure. It would take a day, but he would be there soon. He jumped through the trees, as fast as he could. He would have to take a few stops along the way in order to rest. He figured he could train a bit of his dexterity while he was at it. The Shinobi flipped through the branches. It was hilariously clumbsu and he should have faltered on more than one occasion. His large frame kept him from being faster than most shinobi at this level of power but he didn’t mind too much. He was comfortable with the raw power he possessed. He was a very strong and muscular man. And it was something to be proud of.

He took a break and decided to lean against a tree. His thoughts were full of calm. But his excitement to return home and show everyone just how powerful he had gotten. “Hey! You there!” Maikumaru’s eyes shot open to the sound of a voice. It was very effeminate. He looked up to see a woman wearing a Konohagakure headband. She jumped from the tree with the grace of a majestic swan. She landed very balanced. Her frame was smaller than Maikumaru’s, as was the case with most females. “Do you know where Iwagakure no Sato is? I must go there to complete a mission. If you don’t mind.”

“Heh, you’re in luck. I am heading there myself.”

“Excellent. This may seem sudden, but would you mind guiding me there? Bandits have been running rampant lately, and we would no doubt be stronger as a team.”

“Sure I can go with that. What’s your name?”

“My name is Hini Hyuuga. A pleasure, I’m sure.”
