Objective: Take the Dam

Mission Description: “We have a plan to have the last laugh, this river is essential to not only us, but many of the bandit camps in this region. We’re sending you and 4 other ninja teams in an effort to take the dam that lays far inland. The dam is a massive structure that holds back a major river. From there not only could we stop water-flow between there and our base at will, but we would see to it the dam is rigged for destruction should we be unable to hold our position. Expect exceedingly high resistance”
Mission Details: There are 3 major objectives of this mission, but only 1 can be completed by any given team as they occur simultaneously.

• -Confront the heart of the enemy force directly: Make entry into the dam and confront the plethora of B rank missing ninja and bandits occupying the base.
  
• -Place Paperbombs: Taking a satchel of explosives, the ninja will split from the main force to work through the maintenance ways of the dam to place their explosives throughout the area, while there are less guards down here, they do exist, and the paths are narrow and extremely confined making combat difficult.
  
• Take control of the control room: The control room of the base is where the water sluice controls are held, and is at the center of the base behind enemy lines. The ninja will have to infiltrate into hostile territory and eliminate any leadership found there

Each of the enemies in this mission have varying stats ranging within the B rank area as well as A rank bukijutsu, however the ninja there are also known to have ninjutsu, doton and futon also trained to B rank and know all library techniques of those ranks and lower. Their leaders however, of which there are 3, are A rank, with A-1 stats.

Raphael inhaled deeply, holding it in before slowly letting it escape his lungs, his breathing calm cool and collective as he sat in a meditated position as he awaited his partner Makoto. When first given this assignment he was given the option of working alone or with a team, and while normally the boy would choose to work alone this time he chose to have a single partner rather than an entire team. His choice was simple Makoto of the hidden stone village had become some what of an interest to the young cloud shinobi and working with him was a great way to help them both out. Since they knew each other and had worked together before there would be less arguing among them and more focusing on the goal at hand, there would be no debate as to the leadership of the pair as there was sure to be when stuck with a team of people that you have never worked with before. While there were multiple shinobi called upon for this task each group was given a different assignment, to effectively neutralize the enemy the different groups would all strike different locations of the same station at the same time. This gave the operation the biggest advantage, by causing the enemy to divert their attention no one group would suffer large resistance. Once all the jobs within the base were completed they would blow the entire dam up flooding the river and taking out enemy resistance. The boy wore his typical attire though not ideal for a stealth mission the boy did not really care, he was not there for the stealth, the more attention he drew to himself the less likely Makoto would get hurt. While it was true Makoto was the boy's first choice for this mission, the young genin still had a lot to learn which was the same reason Raphael chose to bring Makoto along with him on the mission.

Raphael waited for Makoto at the edge of the new Kumo border that was within the Land of Wind, the Dam was only a few kilometers away from where they were now so they had plenty of time before it would be time to begin the operation. Once the boy arrived at the destination Raphael would explain how they would proceed on the mission and what their goal was in all of this. But for the time being he just relaxed and listened to the wind around him, he had no worry about the mission he knew the operation would be a success. The young shinobi allowed all thought to exit his mind and he let go and allowed his mind to drift off.

Makoto was relaxing in the bed at the camp knowing the mission would be starting soon, he could not keep Raphael waiting too long and he knew it was still early as he looked to the sky brooding over the events that passed. To the assassin who had did all the work for his mission to save the innocent, to the insane master and god of jutsu who brought forth a technique so powerful he nearly wet himself from the intensity of excitement and the overwhelming fear. He did not know what he would do anymore and at times he felt like he barely had what it took to even live on in this world.

Makoto knew he had to be brave in order to follow his path, but in truth he was still a child and even if he did not know any better he still had his survival instincts. He had met a few people in his missions from the mysterious masked people to the rather photogenic Raphael who seemed more like a super model or royalty of some kind instead of a shinobi. The way his presence had shown influence that seemed similar to that of high ranking shinobi. At the very least he figured that Raphael is Jounin at the very least, though he could not properly guage the difference in their strengths being so much weaker then Raphael in the first place. However he felt good knowing that Raphael's superior ability gave him the freedom to do what he wanted or needed to do with great ease.

Makoto got up and began wrapping the bandage around his right arm as he thought to himself how close things had gotten to him not being able to continue any further. He also put his forehead protector around his forehead tilted slightly as he adjusted it to hide the bandage on his head as well. He had taken a few too many blows to his chest as well and his back, but these were easily hidden beneath his shirt as he put on a long sleeve top in this hot weather to hide some of his problems. He kept to wearing a shorts as letting people see a few scratches on his legs here and there were not a real problem.

He put on some socks and sandals as he did not want people to see how sore his feet were, he had gotten some blisters that popped and so on as he would have to work on removing some of the callous problems beneath his feet when this was all over. He had been attacked so constantly by members of the hidden leaf village and the missions he did for kirigakure and kumogakure left him with a bad taste in his mouth. That was when Makoto spat out some of the blood in his mouth from losing a tooth in one of his missions, though he would get a new tooth in its place since that tooth was a bit loose being that he had to get his next permanent tooth in that spot.

Makoto made his way to the meeting point with his tanto armed as usual along with his shield on his back to provide extra protection as he arrived the wind blowing through his hair as he saw Raphael with a look of admiration. Makoto approached Raphael and raised his hand slowly and looked off to the side slightly.

"Hi..." as he gave a light greeting and awaited a reply and a debriefing on the mission that they were going to undertake.
